Bugged out 10 minutes ago. Can’t talk nor leave squad.
With the first three bosses that’s 6 gold or 12gold with the buff. When we have an entire raid that would become 18g or 36g with the buff. It adds up.
And you can bet your kitten that these raids will be on farm some time in the future.

Soloq was good. Teamq was trash. I do not want that version of teamq to return as it was just a glorified soloq because of the better rewards and the fact there was no party limit.
Your other points are valid, but not as important (imo) to the overall state of pvp. There will always be balance issues, there will always be bugs and there will always be queue times. (in any game honestly)
Its a teamgame. Do not expect to hard carry games.
We’re forgetting the additional stronghold split though. That puts the system and population under another layer of pressure. Unless they decide to keep stronghold unranked only (which I support honestly).
I also don’t think the population can support a full team queue. I’d rather see them put duo’s/trio’s in the team queue to begin with and 4-mans will just have to pickup someone from hotm. A full team queue would be ideal but we’ve seen 3 years of near to none incentive to create teams/pugs. Thus unless they would add some good incentive (both catered towards casual and competitive groups), I don’t see it being very populated.
I’m all for soloq buuuut it’s not that straight forward.
If you add soloq, what will you do with the teamq? Last time we had soloq’ing in teamq because of the better rewards, which kinda ruined the whole idea. I’d like to see a full teamqueue but I don’t know how feasible that is, based on the current competitive scene. Whats left is 2/3mans and 5mans. 4mans should just ask for a fifth in mapchat or LFG. Which, imo, is a good version to start with.
If you add soloq, will you add it for both stronghold and conquest? If so, that’s another 2 splits in the system. If we assume unranked doesn’t change, that would be 6 different queues as opposed to the 2 (4 when ranked opens up) we have now.

As a strong advocate for bunker guard, if it isn’t good suck it up and play something else.
Thats pretty arrogant and ignorant thing to say. Do you realise some people bought GW2 and/or HoT and invested their time just because they were enjoying filling role of e.g. Supportive Bunker and so called Developers shouldn’t threat them as worse kind of players, since they are the same customers?
I’ve for example bought HoT only because of Minstrel to show my gratitude for finaly listening to community asking for Tank-Support Amulet… after Minstrel was removed only week after release without any tries of “shaving it” I had feeling of being tricked by Anet.
As you have recently bought HoT, you can still ask for a refund if it bothers you that much.

Several PvP build components have been removed in order to promote healthy gameplay:
Removed Minstrel Amulet. Anyone who has purchased this amulet will be refunded their gold.
Removed Rune of the Ogre.
Removed Rune of the Lich.
Removed Rune of the Pirate.
Anet is on their game with their post-HoT patches. :p
Bugs don’t make the fight bad. It’s a bug, it’ll get fixed.
Story mission 14 is still bugged for me. I could start it and play it but the last gear is bugged for me (the one before the portal to dragons stand). I can’t reset it either, I keep the progress.
You know why theres so many 10/10’s? Because of all the QQ’ers giving it a 0/10 on the first day because of the Hero Points.

You might have to press some other buttons than 1 though. Might be a problem for a lot of you?
If you use tomes to 80 then it’s ‘only’ 40 hero challenges in the jungle.
If you use tomes you unlock everything that’s considered ‘core’. After that it’s 400 hero points for the elite spec.

We felt like minions were in a good place for PvP so we didn’t want to change them there for now. Thus, the interaction between players and minions in PvP combat will remain the same.
…That’s a joke right? While ranger pets are more or less a thing because they have to be, Ranger Nature Spirits, Guardian Sprit Weapons, and Necromancer Minons and even Elementalist Elementals are extinct as an entire class of utility skills in sPvP and WvW. Even Engineer turrets have largely been bred out of the competitive environment and you can’t expect gyros or Reaper’s shambling horrors to change that.
The zoo meta was horrible in PvP. The turret meta was horrible too. We don’t need more AI in PvP.
Necro minions are being used.
There are probably only 2 slots for missions to start with? Maybe thats why they have to pick two out of three?
They’ve done it in the past too. So we’ll have to see what the results are.

I wanted to sell my recipe (Light of Dwayna) which I have in my bank since when I got it as drop way back when.
However I’m not able to sell it on the TP somehow, yet other recipes are still being sold/bought on the TP.
Is it possible that the my item is bugged somehow?

Unless this beta include seperate build templates for conquest and stronghold, I am not really interested anyway. Too much of a hazzle to change builds everytime a random stronghold pop up.

We’ve had this discussion countless times the past few months. You can look up threads on reddit/forums, etc. by using the search function.
Dunno if i got this right. So like if there isn’t anybody from the guild present that captured and claimed this keep like 2+ hours ago its basicly screwed?
You can make sure every upgrade is accessible to the public (non-guildies) or not.
The fact that rewards are weekly makes me think that maybe Raids won’t be as challenging as we think they will be…
The fact that is Weekly makes me think Anet already knows Raids will only be challenging to the casual crowd that farms Silverwastes or Open World Bosses. That’s the big piece of the playerbase’s cake. Not us.
And if we could farm the Raid rewards daily, then when the casuals managed to achieve them they would not feel as special snowflakes because “all the kitten elitists have it already, this sucks!”. But because it is weekly, everyone is going to be on the same playing field and they will feel more special about it.
Theres no gear progression. Eventually the puzzle will be solved, guides will be up and a lot more people will be able to clear it. Which is normal. Is that so bad?
You can’t prevent that unless you add RNG to them or you add gear progression, which just prolongs it until everyone has the gear and that factor falls out of the equation.

Sorry I’m nothing near happy, because we have this one request:
- Players of GW1, desire to bring back GvG, we work and play for one thing
- We don’t play pve(fractals, dungeons, bosses)
- We almost never play pvp
- All we play is WvW and Game mode from GW1, which was never implemented to GW2, even thought a lot of players wanted it, and we had huge desire to bring this as pvp game mode, but no1 ever listens us. So yes, this is only thing that we want, we didn’t request for borderlands rework, we requested fair enough seperated map in pvp or guild halls that would give us un-interupted place to have a decent 15v15. AMEN.If this is “we are never happy for you” then check yourself, u would find a lot more requests then just one simple map to hold 15v15 in there. if that’s to much… then i’m sorry for ever asking anything LOL

All the nike players are upset that they can’t run ooc to reset health during an arena fight.

Your version of GvG is nothing like GW1 GvG. How is a 15v15 blobfest the same as a 8v8 objective based gamemode?
Anyway, the arena’s will be big enough for 15v15. If not your scene will adapt.

WoW all over again, I didn’t miss it in fact it’s why I left. Completely unimpressed about the announcements this past weekend. Raiding which I didn’t think was necessary or needed c/w content gated legendary armor to boot. I can here the elitism crap flooding TeamSpeak and map chat already.
But there is already elitism in the game…
Look at the LFG. Look at the forums.
It’s all zerker gear or experienced or X number AP, etc.
An MMO is a sandbox for its players. There will always be elitism. Even in the most casual games.
Its optional. Thats the important fact. You don’t need to raid, nor fractals, WvW or PvP, etc. You do w/e you like.
And if you do want to enjoy that content without the elitists? Then make a group yourself.

Some more ‘fluff’ in regards to raids.
I have noticed an influx of clueless players in ranked. I’m all for f2p and I think it’s fantastic, but more effort needs to be put in to explain basic mechanics to new players. I’m sick of games recently where like on Legacy of Foefire we’re winning 350-100 only for the other team to kill our lord then storm ahead because my team has no idea what the lord is!
Make it rank 40 to do ranked not 20!
Those F2P players would have played 60+ games in the past 2 days in order to join up on ranked.
I’d say it’s just the regular low MMR newbies.
And what about Stronghold/conquest? Will their be a different league for that? Different team leaderboard?
And if we get soloq, what will it mean for teamq? No more solo’s in teamq and thus no 4-mans? Only 5 mans?
We still don’t know the most important stuff about leagues/LB’s, imo. And I’m afraid it won’t be adressed.
Matchmaking only works as intended when it has a big enough population. So ye, let the new people join up and get better so that the population grows.
and a decent teamq please. Don’t allow solo’s in teamq, etc.

Amazing. Every time I see these posts I lose a little hope for humanity.
Exactly why I’m asking if they’ll be putting more armor sets in or not… because at the moment, it just seems way too little, more like a living story type of release (armor wise) than a full blown expansion 50€ expansion.
They’ve stated we won’t see armor sets in the gemstore anymore. So they’ll all be obtainable in-game now by playing.
Expect new ones with the Living Story releases too.
