If you activate quickness before initiating a stomp then your stomp will be 2.66 seconds.

However if you activate quickness mid stomp then you will not actually stomp the player quicker and results in normal speed stomping at 3.73 seconds.

I believe this may be a bug.

I’m not really sure how this is possible. I’ve spent about 3 hours straight doing events and gotten 150 drinks. That means 67 days at that rate.

The event will most likely go 3 weeks in total ending on Jan 5th however. 3 weeks is 21 days. That means you’re looking at needing 478 drinks per day or about 9 hours straight per day…….

Does anyone notice any difference between the 2 other than tabbing back into windowed fullscreen is faster and doesn’t need to reload the graphics? I’ve heard that fullscreen is better for fps but I don’t see any difference. Or at least any difference at what I’m currently doing in-game.

Same thing here. A bit tiresome having to redo it everytime.

Maybe I’m losing it, but didn’t it used to be if you bought stuff with real money in the gemstore you used to get a bonus the next month in your mail? I very clearly remember using real money a couple times and the next month receiving some freebies as a good PR type thing. Like a thanks for purchasing with real money.

One thing I really miss in GW2 from GW1 is the ability to see the name and channel bar of what enemy skills they are using. It really provides more counterplay.

Why I’d like to see something like this make a return? Well take the ranger #4 longbow skill. Everyone knows it. Sure it’s effective but for the most part it’s just used blindly cause you don’t really know what the enemy is going to do next. Only on really obvious telegraphs is it really useful. If you could see an enemy is going to do a large skill then you could interrupt it.

To me, more counterplay is more fun than spamming a bunch of skills.

Anet, might you look into this consideration? Maybe once developed let us try it out for a weekend and see the feedback? Whether people hate it, like it, etc?

While I was doing a renown heart in Gendarran Fields the interior of a building was missing it’s floor and walls yet I could still walk on the invisible floor. I decided to exit the game and re-open it. It suggested I verify and repair the game files. It gets to about 10% during the repair archive and then freezes. When I click on the program it then crashes.

There is some speech if you listen closely to the finisher but I can’t understand what it says. Anyone know what it is?

Since when did this become a thing? I never had to pay for an expansion to go to LA before level 35. Yes I have the expansion. This is a F2P account. Is this just a F2P thing? Or is this for anyone who only has the base game now?

Not exactly. I have had problems trying to stomp with quickness though. I go to stomp, pop quickness on Rev and the stomp never happens.

Was Wintersday announced when it would start during the livestream today?

Ok so underwater combat is not used very much and it feels pushed aside very much so for Revenant. However here’s a few things that I think should be looked at however.

-I don’t really mind that there is only the spear however why is there 2 spots for underwater weapons? So I can equip spear/spear? Makes no sense.

-Secondly, the #2 skill on spear has no energy cost and is completely spammable with no consequence. It basically makes the #1 skill obsolete since it does more damage.

-Thirdly why only Malyxx and Shiro? This isn’t a big deal to me, however the #9 skill in Malyxx behaves in the same matter as it did on land in the betas. It teleports enemies in all random directions.

My ideas:

-Remove the 2nd underwater slot for a weapon or include a new weapon such as speargun

-Energy cost for #2 skill (10 energy?) and/or with a short cooldown similar to hammer #2

-Possible inclusion of other legends and a fix for Malyxx so the teleporting is removed

This really is not a big deal, but it’s a bit silly looking. I guess if your title is longer than your name then your PVP league rank shows up at the end of the title. It’s a bit funny looking and I think should be right up against your name instead.

Yea, was farming in CS, went to LA to pick up my TP gold. Couple minutes later got kicked to character select screen. Logged in, was at the starting location for CS, had to go back to LA to pick up my gold again. Groundhog day with a very short day.

I can’t believe they pump out the cash shop items while ignoring game breaking bugs on the boss of the game, simply sad.

I just did it by myself and it only took about 25 minutes. No glitches. Mordremoths body isn’t supposed to even be in this instance. Only in Dragons Stand.

When you go into Mordremoths inner sanctum his dead body is blocking some areas. It’s the location where you go for the final story quest with the giant spiral. His body is covering Braham and you can’t go and talk with him. Also parts of the spiral are being blocked by his body.

Does changing the graphical settings in the Nvidia control panel actually affect the ingame graphics? I tried changing some of them around but I noticed no graphical difference.

I don’t think this is going to happen honestly. It’s more of a thing that would of been implemented at launch of the game. But you never know. If it has the same sound quality I wouldn’t mind.

Everything with GW2 brings toxicity. It’s literally everywhere.

Some of the visual reduction I don’t mind too much but some others are kind of ridiculous. For instance I can barely tell if I have an aura on me or not. The outline of it is SO tiny. This makes it difficult also to tell if enemies have an aura applied to them also. Especially the fractal boss for the Dredge. You can barely tell if you got him with the lava bucket or not cause his aura is almost invisible.

Looked thru all of the LFG dungeons and not a single ad. RIP dungeons?

The option “Stop autoattacking on target change” while turned off does not seem to work with “Allow skill retargetting” turned on.

It should function in the way where the game reselects a target after opponent is dead and you continue to auto attack. However it doesn’t work. Turning the first option on or off makes no difference as long as the 2nd option is turned on.

My human male Revenant keeps saying this phrase over and over. About once every 5 minutes. He’s a new character created yesterday and only level 8 as of right now. Will you please look into this bug? It’s a bit annoying.

I remember a few weeks ago there was a long list of bugs that they fixed with this quest yet…. all the ones they said they fixed were not fixed at all..

I don’t really see this happening but I think it would be great. Especially important maps such as Orr would give you an option upon loading in if you want “past” or “present.” Similar to Pre-searing and Post-searing. Of course being able to transverse which you want.

Present Orr could have different and/or new enemies. Of course this would take a lot of work developing new enemies. It would still be cool though.

Right now we have either “Show all player names” or none. What about more options such as “Show all Guild names” and “Show all friends names.” During large groups it gets very cluttered and would help cut the visual noise if we could have these extra options.

Every single time I go to a new map or just at random my mini turns off. I keep having to recheckmark it over and over. It’s making having a mini nearly pointless.

For about the past hour I’ve crashed several times now. What happens is I suddenly hit a giant lag spike (everyone runs in a straight line and none of my skills work). Then several seconds later the black screen with “Can’t connect to the login server.” I go on GuildWars2.com and sure enough the page won’t load also when this happens. When I try to login to the game, I can’t. Just gives me the same error for a few minutes.

It does. If you want to pug into a group, you still have hope earlier in the week. As the more skilled groups will finish it soon and go on to the other bosses.

And if you’re guild couldnt get past 50% you’ll probably be better off. They were probably wearing Knight’s or Soldier gear and didn’t realize that isn’t good DPS. I pugged and beat Vale today, you can find good groups.

Well, that’s the thing. I’d prefer to play with a guild. Cause then I know that they can beat it. Just not the one I’m currently in. But I’m worried no one would invite me since I’ve never beat VG.

So raids have been out for a little while now and it seems a good portion of people are getting beyond VG and more.

One of my guilds I was doing it with can’t get beyond 50% on VG and basically have quit the game now.

My worries are that “Is it too late?” for me though. Meaning, I still want to give raids a go, and I know the mechanics of VG, but seeing as people now are moving beyond that point no one will pick me up since I’m now behind.

I know raids aren’t meant for pugging and I’ve seen less ads for pug groups. Which means I would need a guild who can do it. But would a guild let me when I’m now behind?

Same letter for me as well. Although I only have something like 6 HoM points and have lost nothing. Even though it says I recently received the title unfairly….. I’ve never had the title legit or unfairly. And I still have my armor skins.

So I finally managed to login to my account on the website. Here is the error it kept giving me multiple times.

Quickness stutters the Revenant’s auto-attack on the Mace. I’m not sure if this does it as well with Sword but maybe. Please watch the video to see the bug in action.

I first kill the golem without quickness. I then kill it with quickness using Impossible Odds.

I know it’s been awhile since they made it more difficult to obtain these boosters and I seem to of missed the point as to why. So if anyone could explain what the reasoning behind it was? Thanks.

I don’t see how they can reinforce this. It counts if the player is moving yet doing nothing.

It would be set up like a “repel the invaders” type thing. It would only show up if you’ve been fighting on a point for 20 seconds and if the person runs off after a certain time that has passed you get some personal points. You can spend an entire match fighting players on a point and never getting any personal points. It isn’t just about camping.

The entire match I can do really well defending a point. But it doesn’t give anything for protecting it. So in the end you get like a score of 25. Can you please make it so that defending a point over time rewards with points also? It’s a good way to benefit the total score but doesn’t do anything for yourself.

Can you no longer skip the first cinematic when you create a new character? Pressing ESC did nothing for me.

I never played Factions, only Prophecies. My question is how does Factions compare to HoT as far as content. Does Factions or HoT have more land to explore? Achievements size, endgame content, replayability, variety of enemies, etc.

Anyone else have this problem? I spend more time waiting for a full 10 man party than actually playing. I spend prolly 10 minutes fighting VG vs 30 minutes of waiting.

I got an idea. Make all the bosses 1 shot with a basic attack.

Ok so the new pvp season just started. Yet when you go to the website it says there are already 8 teams selected. How? What? I’m so confused. I thought that players had to play the season and then at the end whoever had the highest scores were chosen. Or is it that Anet just picks someone out of a hat?
