Check in your dye panel! Make sure you got “Show locked” on. Dyes are called Crushed Bone, Maniac Brown, Insanity Red, Psychotic Orange, Lunatic Yellow and Delirious Purple! Check it out all!
This is happening randomly (again). So far quite noticeable in WvW.
Just in the past 30 mins or so, I heard a charr, asura, and a couple human voices appearing to come from my character. Same thing occurred multiple times while in wvw last night. I did not notice if my characters mouth was moving, it’s a bit too random to quickly see if that is the case when it occurs. It sounds like it’s coming from your own point of view though. However, at least everyone in the immediate area hears this loudly at the same time.
I believe at least some of the lines are coming from enemies but hard to know for sure.
Posting as I could not find anything recent about this, but it is entirely possible I missed it.
I’ve also made a thread about this. It has gone unnoticed. It started happening to me just before BW3.

Yea that’s a bit different though. Letting off the controls doesn’t fix it. There has always been the “stuck, release controls, then move”. This is like perma-stuck. For instance in PvP I got stuck at the clocktower and couldn’t move until a Necro feared me.
Often lately while dodging (specifically backward) I end up getting stuck. I can’t move at all when this happens until I either use a leap skill, get feared, knocked back, etc. Please look into this. It’s very aggravating especially when doing PvP. Surely I can’t be the only one experiencing this.
It seems the Risen Hylek have all turned into living metal. Not sure if this is happening in other maps, but it is in Sparkfly Fen. Pretty cool looking, but still, a bug.
I’m not entirely sure if this is a bug, but if you view the roster in the guild panel under history, it’s extremely slow to load. But only the people who have either left or been kicked.
Yes I remember this. I was thinking about it earlier. It was very nice. I remember when you typed in your account info and password you’d get these 4 colored squares that changed in color and when it was typed in successfully it was your “set of colors” or something like that.
I dont really mind the new icons. I’m just gunna have to get used to them and try to remember what is what. This may suck though cause my memory is subpar.
Played for over 3 years and never knew unranked progressed your rank level faster than hotjoin. Not sure this is a brainfart more rather than just moronisy.
The Lightning AoE always spawns in the same section that the Vale Guardian is in. If you keep it in the middle, he’s probably crossing the line when it spawns and its spawning farther away.

The tank doesn’t need to sprint marathons, for phrase one generally it is enough to kite it inside the quad so your entire team doesn’t have to run around and missing dps. The lighting field spawns near the boss always. Watch some clearing video for tips.
It seemed to me that 50% of the time the orange AOE that people needed to get into was often at the very edge of the arena. Sometimes touching the electric field that surrounds it. That’s why we were having problems. For us it often was far away so we tried to keep the boss toward the middle.
So far I haven’t gotten past the boss. We got it down to 75% life before the enrage timer wiped us all. The first 3 mini bosses were enjoyable. The difficulty on them seemed reasonable. The boss though seemed a bit unrealistic to me. It didn’t really matter how much toughness or healing anyone had, the attacks cut thru like butter. I found it difficult to get from 1 orange aoe to another in the big arena despite having swiftness. Which was probably one of the biggest problems we had, the fact that we spent so much time running from 1 end of the arena to the other and lacked the dps. I don’t mind the high damage the boss outputs but I think a bit lower HP would make it more reasonable. Otherwise it was decent.
Possible Bugs:
-I think Deflecting Shot isn’t working properly. Sometimes it deflects a shot but sometimes not. It seems like if the projectile is close to the enemy it blocks it but if the projectile is close to me then it does not. The blind from the skill works fine though.
-The Shield of Courage seems to have a similar problem. Projectiles aren’t always blocked and sometimes pass straight through and damage me.
Suggestions:
-I think True Shot should not require you to stand still to use it. Although it is a fast cast and not a huge deal. I still can see this however being a problem in PVP.
-Symbol of Energy feels like the AOE from it should be a little bigger. It is currently 180. I think 240 would be more appropriate. Yes I realize you can change the size with a trait but I don’t think 240 is asking too much. Also increasing the speed of the projectile for this skill would be good. It’s pretty slow.
-Increase damage for traps and shorter cooldowns (around 5 seconds chopped off)
Overall thoughts:
-Longbow damage seems much more appropriate now. Traps still to me seem a bit meh, but the one I do like is Test of Faith. I think the DH is getting pretty close to how it should be. Just some more tweaks and possibly a few minor changes. I am enjoying it much more than BW2.
I can’t seem to bring out my pet at all. It shows the little blue arrow but clicking on it does nothing. I am basically a Druid running around by myself.
So earlier tonight I was playing on my female Charr necro and the same bug that occured a few months back has returned. My character is randomly spouting out things. It’s random race and gender as with profession.
I’ve got every class to 80 and a few duplicates. I wanna level something again, but idk what. I’ve made like 15 lowbies and deleted them all after level 5-15. I think I have a problem.
I don’t really care that much, but I do wish I could see more advertisements of people actually wanting to play the dungeon.
Why is it sometimes when you die there is an 18 second timer and other times it’s only a few seconds?
Mine is 49.55% in Unranked. However I don’t think this takes into account the previous versions of pvp such as the Solo unranked and tournament types that no longer exist.
If you place down a few marks on Necro where the enemies will spawn during escorting the bulls in Silverwastes the enemies won’t spawn properly and the bull will become stuck and not progress forward. It happens especially if you stack the marks on top of each other.
I’m repping, I’m not set to offline, and yet it says I’m not in a guild. I recorded a video of the bug. Please check. I’ve tried repping then unrepping, relogging, redoing offline/online. Nothin. Yet it shows I’m on and in the guild. It also says “unknown” for several members as to the location.
This trait drops a smoke bomb when you are disabled and blinds enemies inside the smoke. However it does not count as an actual smoke field. You cannot perform finishers in it.
Definitely using the Smokescale. Did you see how much damage it did in the livestream? 9.5k damage during it’s shadowstepping attack. Not to mention it can evade like hell. Just like the ones in Verdant Brink. Super potent.
Yes it’s definitely the weakest. It is extraordinarily clunky also. On Longbow your character does not turn to shoot your target if your target is anywhere beyond a 90° cone in your vision.
The #1 skill is similar to pistol on Thief with Ricochet however the enemies must be behind other enemies to split. The #2 skill immobilizes you with a couple second charge up for 4k crit with zerker gear. #3 doesn’t always work properly. #4 is a very slow moving projectile and no longer causes burning with a small light field left behind. #5 does 200-300 damage 3-4 times over a 3 secondish period and then binds enemies. Traps have very subpar damage.
As it is right now, there is no reason at all to use the Elite Spec for Guardian. Scepter/Focus is way better in terms of defense and damage. And sacrificing a trait line for DH is basically taking away 1/3rd of your character.
I can tell you all that healing and toughness is definitely needed in HoT. Hence the changes (esp with Druid). If you’re gunna zerk in HoT you might as well be standing in the very back of a crowd cuz the enemies are going to 1-shot you.

It’s not doing it today but yesterday I was on a lowbie character and needed copper ore and weak blood. So I bought some from the TP. However everytime I bought more ore and blood I had a bigger amount of gold to pick up. It totaled in about 2.5 gold.
First off no I was not selling anything in the TP, and no I wasn’t getting money back because a cheaper price had been recently placed.
It seemed that whatever amount I was supposed to pay for the blood and ore was being refunded back to me. And I could still pick up the crafting mats.
Although it’s not happening at the moment, I think this needs to be looked into.
You can kill them but it’ll take a long time and they don’t give xp or loot. They are completely soloable with guardian hammer.
I’m not making this kitten up! I got the minstrel out of green bag of gear I got form SW after doing lots of event farming there and then doing chest trains afterward.
Now I plan to sell it even though I main an ele, as I rather have two incinerators.
Yes I got my first precursor out of a green bag from SW also. It was the Energizer (mace). Later I got Spark off of a regular mordrem…. in Verdant Brink….during Beta…. >:|

I can log on, alt tab out to read the news, have a few cups of coffee, eat breakfast, grab a shower, go through a morning routine, be AFK for an hour or more, come back and still be fine.
Then later on in the day, I can chat with my guild, run around the city and play the game. Take a few minutes for a bathroom break, come back and find that I’ve been booted.

You are correct. It’s been like this though for over 3 years. It doesn’t seem consistent at all. AFK in LA for 10 minutes and then kicked. Later I can be AFK for over an hour and still not get kicked in the same exact spot. I think it’s been broken since day 1 but isn’t really a huge enough thing to be looked at.
Has anyone noticed recently that some ambient sounds are cutting in and out quickly? For instance when the Vinewrath does his laser attack. It seems to of started recently.
While trying to flee enemies from the water I was downed just as I was getting out. I was not able to use any skills while in downed state. The skills that were up were my downed land skills. Therefore all I could do was sit there and die. Didn’t matter which skill I used. I’d press it and it wouldn’t do anything at all.
Since we’re waiting for the expansion to come out next month, what has everyone been doing in game to pass the time?
Yea I preferred when I had the option to place it wherever or directly on me. Most the time I didn’t use ground targeting as it wasn’t needed. Only ever used it in some select situations such certain fractals or somewhere in a dungeon.
Only advantage I see with AED is it heals a lot when you take lethal damage. But no ally heals so…. yae
A lot of the skills I saw used critted for 500. That is way too low for anything.
It was never great to start with. Worse with no ricochet now. Makes me a sad panda.
I like the chronomancer quite a bit. I don’t think it’s the strongest specialization but better than some of the others for sure. Not sure how Engi is gunna be but…. from what I’ve played of chronomancer, I would choose it.
Yes I wish the pistol could have this trait again or at least my suggestion (read below). Dual wielding pistols is simply awesome looking. But when you can only hit 1 enemy at a time for low auto attack damage it makes me a sad panda. I think the auto attack should pierce targets. I don’t think the others need to pierce as #3 feels more like a single target attack to me as do the others. Piercing 3 targets seems appropriate.

Ok, I don’t get it. Why is it sometimes when you get downed you can’t even use your #4 skill before you die due to the skill waiting to charge? Like you go down with so little health left. And no I didn’t have downed penalty.
You accumulate a stacking debuff each time you are downed which is shown as a small arrow pointing downwards in your healthbubble. It starts being grey after being downed once, turning yellow then red. The higher this debuff, the less initial health you will have when you get downed. If you are downed while the arrow is red, you will die immediatly and not go into downed state. This downed penalty recovers over time if you stay alive.
I know this. I said I didn’t have a downed penalty. It just happens at random. Sometimes I have near full downed health and other times not enough to heal despite not having the debuff.
I have a feeling SAB is never returning. Too bad cause it was the best.
I’m guessing still around 1 in 2000. In my playtime I’ve probably gotten around 15 dropped in total.

This is a suggestion thing. I was thinking since you guys have been releasing the Human gods’ weapon skins over time, how about the Norn spirits? Maybe like… the face of a bear on the sides of a hammer and a raven on a pole for staff.
I use it for buying the temple armor. It’s 252k for a full set. 42k per piece.
