Did the queen 3 times on one account, got the reward chest, but no achievement. Did the queen again on alt account, got chest no achievement. Please fix Also tried different characters on first account with no luck on achievement.

Nay of the Ether, I was unable to loot it even once. I did get the side chest reward, but not main. Also the reward for finishing the event, just no achievement points.
I did notice the main chest is visible as soon as you go to southsun, I ran my second account there and its already showing for that. It’s the first time that account was to southsun.

Same killed her again on different server this time. No achievement. Also I was not able to get the main chest either time. I see it on map, its invisible to my toon and unable to access it. I can walk up to it. It will block me. but still unable to search it.

I did this, waited for cut seen. Watched it. Still no achievement. K, i walked away after I completed this, still standing with the option to go back to southsun, came back it was there. Not sure why it took so long. But got it.

Same here as well, not only for the queen, but also completed contractually obligated. And did not receive the achievement for that. Please fix

2 either not allowing 4v5 3v5, by auto kicking the last person to join larger grp. or not allowing match to start until they are even.
3 punishment for afk/leavers

Since anet seems unwilling or does not care about fixing this. My questions is, would creating new characters going through all the hints again. Has anyone been successful that way? I still cannot understand why they would create a leaderboard, knowing full well there are problems with the achievement system. Says a lot about how they think imo.

I have to agree with Libertine Lush, Both Mymidian and Arcthefallen, have been nothing but more than helpful. Mymidians comment about not letting the vocal minority that have cast a negative stereotype on the general pvp community hinder me from enjoying a part of the game was very helpful. I do not get to join in as many tournys as I wish because my kids demand a lot of my time. Just wanted to say thanks to all that have started AOTM and showing people like me that are not as familiar with pvp how fun it can be.

Nice info all, this thread just made my fav list to keep checking back. like the one about the mes, and the one about more ppl capping, that is one thing that annoys the daylights out of me, seeing several ppl on same node with zero foes around. just to get personal points.

I noticed what the op is talking about, but figured, those who know pvp certainly know the difference. People that know the game knows avenger of the dispose takes less time than combat healer.

This sounds like a good deal for those of us who have limited friends to hook up with. I’m always up for learning more and meeting people. Would like an invite.

I like the new additions. But it seems. and I could be wrong, that there are those that don’t want a cap on past achievement points from dailies but they do now on the new additions.

Rezz, I like you have done the same thing trying to get anet to resolve this issue. In one of their responses. the comment was “we do not have the tools to fix this at this time” whatever that means. It’s pretty frustrating they would put out a leader board, KNOWING there are problems in their system. Putting the cart before the horse. imho as long as this bug has been around, the flat out do not care.

was wondering what or why upon death causes variations of respawn time. sometimes its only a second or 2, sometimes its up to 19 seconds. I am fairly new to pvp so still have much to learn. Thank you in advance to anyone who answers.

Thank you, I was freaking out again, I just got one a bit ago. And was confused. They are really going out of their way to make them look legit. Maybe its just me. I’m a nobody on the leaderboards. But since they have been out I have received at least 7 or more emails. I have never visit any websites other than dulfy. guru and here. this really concerns me. Nor have I ever got any before the leaderboards. I could all just be a coincidence.

I have received that email 4 times now over the last 3 days. On my account and my kids account. Don’t understand why. Only websites I visit regarding GW2 is here, dulfy and guru. I hope people are aware. Having had my GW1 account stolen later returned after a hassle finding all the serial numbers. Good to see Anet is aware of it and posted about it.

Want to give a shout out to Myrmidian Eudoros hooked up with him today. First time I met him. Showed me there are decent people in tpvp that are willing to help people learn in that part of the game. Thanks again for your time.

I agree we should have the ability to opt out. Having had my GW1 account hacked (and successfully returned after a month of hassle) to me the leaderboards are nothing more than a list for hackers to target. Only good thing at this point about the leaderboards. Hopefully anet will give more attention to the many broken achievement points in the game. hints/hobby/and 3 slayers that are completed showing completed but giving zero points.

Our problem has been, on our server half of our guild does not get influence points for doing events. Yes they are representing, yes they are online, yes they are in guild groups. But the influence gain has been so bugged lately, The ONLY time we get influence points is when we guest to another server and play there, not just for chest farming but for everything, I have and will continue to encourage them to guest to other servers until this bugged is fix. If other people don’t like it. Take it up with anet. Btw, I could care less about dragon farming, haven’t bothered with those in several months.

Seems small guilds are able to keep a lot of their players. But they lose any influence points gained by those that chose to join a large guild as well which requires representing 100% of the time. Is it out of the realm of possibilities that all influence earn by any individual be divided equally into all the guilds they are in, regardless of which one they represent.

Looking for advise from community as how to proceed. Lately when ever I do an event either solo or with guild members. The points are not being added. Now I know the history shows up later. But I have noticed, as soon as you finish an event if you are watching the total points. You will see the points added to the total immediately . The only time we get influence points is if we guest to another server to do our events. If we are doing events in our homeworld we receive zero points for completing events. So I thought I would test something. I created a guild. I am the sole member. However for that guild. I am getting points added to total as soon as I complete an event. Even in our home world. My questions, is there anything I can do at this point to make sure the guild I wish to represent gets influence. Please understand, I am well versed in what must be done to acquire influence points, like representing/doing events to earn points ect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

we have been doing our best working around the massive hurdles placed in front of us. We have teamed up with other smaller guilds than ourselves. We would have enough people to camp each npc. At that time both guild leaders would activate the t1 bounty. Two guilds working together to get 4 bounties so each guild would get rewards. So far we have been successful. Just pointing out to smaller guilds. Large guilds are not needed when working together.

I still feel influence cost should be scaled to the size of the guild. Just my 2 cents. worth. Always open for better methods to approach this content.
