Nice post, I have to say Hidden Garden for me. I have came across several zone that for me, I thought was very impressive work visually.

@IndigoSundown, Yes I have, not it hasnt. enough proof its a joke. No bitterness at all. Maybe you didn’t read my post well enough. I said I didn’t care. I said report doesn’t work. Imo its from what I have seen. Maybe for some it has. I have seen no evidence. Since this has been happening for months and months. Would be another example. not that I care either one bit if they nerf or do not nerf the trains. I just wished people would stop saying, “report them” if reporting them actually worked, the problem would not exist. Because in time they would all be gone. The report funtion is a joke.

He must be new around, Yes Vol has credibility. One of the few people when I see comment I actually read and not just skim over quickly.

But yes gossamer prices going up was a given. I invested very heavily in that as well.

9, one of each prof. cept 2 rangers. my tenth is lvl 22 just use it for dailys, cheap wp. Once it hits around 40 or so. I just delete it and start over. Don’t have a problem deleting it since we don’t get a birthday mini. Which was the main reason I made so many.

@Shrimpit, totally understand the frustration of not being able to play on home server, I finally just gave up trying to get on mine after last night. So many attemps to no avail.

But, for people to take you seriously on your video. It would be better to have a video of you doing all you suggest for others to do. Succeed. Post it and show people how its done.

imho, people will stop for the most part. Yes there are some nice items one can get. But since they are very rare and hard to get, most people will go back to what is consistenly profitable. And that is the champ farm trains. As long as there is money in them, people will go to what they know they can get money from consistenly. Not dissen the champ trains, I have done my share. But why should someone deal with the frustration (overflow) (lack of organization) for a “chance” at something. When they can go easymode champ farm in frostgorge.

Underwater was when I noticed it, I thought how in the world is this bird flying underwater. It funny sometimes it takes awhile for me to notice the little things they did for the game.

Thought this post may be fun. For people to put things they just noticed going on in game after a year. Or took them awhile to catch it.

Mine was the bird taking any mail you send. I see birds all the time so never thought anything about it. Until I realized everytime I sent a message a little bird would swoop down and fly off.

@KehxD.6847 your post is an indication of a good leader. More of what we need. Instead of QQing all day about a problem, you seem to be the type to find a resolve.

@Eternal Grace, I believe guesting is why I havent been able to get on my server. I was able to the first 2 times teq showed up. After that, I haven’t been able to get nothing but overflow, even if it was an hour before teq would show.

I would not get on a forum makeing statements of fact without proof, only based on my assumptions. Just because I perceive something to be true doesn’t mean it is. Thats the difference between us. You adamantly claim the problem is all guesting without proof. I feel before one makes accusations, one needs PROOF, which you simply do not have. Now it appears your definition is different than mine, by your comment, “proof enough for ME” By your logic then guesting is the problem there are long queue times for wvw, if you can get in one day but not the next, it must be guesting. Or according to you anyway. Which we know simply is not true for wvw.

I have friends from many different servers I hook up with from time to time. As much as I like guesting, either them to mine, or I to theirs. That being said, I wouldnt have a problem if they stopped guesting completely, Only reason I would want it, so all the people would stop freaking crying about it.

Ive tried teq 6 times, got there pretty early, everytime I was in overflow. Not gonna whine and say kill guest tho. Is what it is.

if people would put up the proof guesting is 100% their problem, they would have a leg to stand on, otherwise making a statement of fact with ZERO proof, only makes others laugh at them. Yes I believe guesting can/may contribute to the problems. But my belief is not proof.

I wish some devs would hop into some of the overflows I’ve been in. To see how this is bringing the gw community together. Not even Dhuum and his mighty scythe would have been able to keep up with the needed bans.

get booted? So explain how that happens. a guest come in and they boot someone from the home server? lol

So if guesting wasnt allowed and people were put into overflow because a server population was so high. How is it decided who should be on the main? Achievement Points? Age? If you have a legendary?

funny how some of these servers would beg for people to come there, now all they do is cry. careful what you beg for.

People complain about guesting, the same people would complain if guesting wasn’t allowed. It is a no win situation for anet. Do love people that are 100% sure the problems exists only because of guesting.

@Aorin, if I can home and cars were in my drive I would have them towed. But of course they wouldnt be guest either. If I invited someone over, (and who is to say some are not invited) I would park a little farther away, and wished I had got there before they did.

Didn’t read the entire wall of text, when ppl post like that, i usually just read short comments as most of the will condense the wall.

As far as plat goes. I dumped my share on the market early yesterday as well as some other items gain in sparkfly. I felt, ok, there are gonna be thousands of people milling around sparkfly before and after teq. Usually when ppl do that they pick up whatever is nearby. Considered it may only be 3-9 ores per person, multiply by thousands, it would seem logical, prices of those would go down. just my 2 cents.

same here, keeps saying check internet connection. When I know its working fine.

I could be wrong, often am when it comes to mmo. But I feel gems prices will stay low as long as people are able to make money in the game. Champ trains, and farming ori/wood since prices are high. Not dissen champ trains, but as much money as I’ve read people are making, they have no need to buy gems. Unless they just want specific items from BLTP, seems lately only time they go up is when they have pretty good offers/items

@Fror, I could have written that post you made. I was the same way. Cept I started chasing them a month after release and they were my only focus. This was unill about 3 months ago. When I realized what it was doing to me. Since I had stopped chasing them I am enjoying the game more. I no longer feel like I MUST log in to finish this or that, or I have 2 more of the daily list to complet.

@ Mouse, I have 2 accounts, many times I will do exactly what you said, moving stuff around ect. And for certain, I have never, nor would ever even consider sharing my account. Still not sure by the actions you said in that post that has anything to do with sharing. Unless I’m missing something

I hope they read this thread and consider what most have said. The last paragraph Astral put is dead on to me. I love GW2 and love new content. But someone(s) need a valium or two.
I remember the days of logging in GW1 and just staring at the screen wishing for something new. Now I log in GW2 and stare at the screen trying to figure out where to start every other week.

@Inspired, please don’t take my comment as a complaint. As said, I love the new content. Just there are times I’m overwhelmed. I do hope they will recycle some. If they don’t it is cool. I don’t chase after ap anymore, but would like to see their work instead of just reading about it.

sounds very much like someone who never had to “earn” something on their own, been handed w/e they want/need and now something comes along which requires effort and time. As someone said, time is money. If those who do not wish to invest their time as other do, to acquire something, simple put. They do NOT deserve it. Still amazed at how many people abound in entitlement.

oh wow, another post that almost forces me to say something to op that will give me an infraction. So I will do my best not to. To op, first I feel this is nothing more than a troll thread. If this game is so freaking bad, why are you here? How is it unfair if you dont want to play sab again? How is putting sab in the game changing what fun you had with other content? in case you havent noticed sab is its own game, and does not change anything done on other maps. Learn to Waypoint. fair shmair, lifes not fair get used to it. I just don’t get the lack of……………..rest is a ban waiting to happen so I will stop.

the transaction would be from a real life friend. so I am not worried about a scam at all. I just wanted to make certain it wasn’t something that is bannable.

Is it against the user agreement to make a deal with someone to buy directly from them using the mail system. And not using the tp?

well, already looks like this is gonna be, “it is all guilds b, c, and d’s fault we failed. we are so great and they are so bad. Please anet make this instanced so we will shine above all the crappy players that made us fail”
It’s really sad when anet trys to put something in motion that will build the community, then have someone like some posters on this thread, already trying to tear it down.

I don’t know, if they didnt add this people would be complaining about that, It’s never a win win for anet no matter what they do. I for one am happy with the state of the game. Only thing I was disappointed about was the birthday mini. I felt that was a staple in GW1 and was really looking forward to it.

As an older gamer, I love SAB. I understand there are those who don’t. For them it is good there is other things to do in game. For me, of the majority of content added this was one of the most enjoyable.

got to lvl 19 death lvln, but was happy to see the quest. I have to agree, death leveling was not hard at all once you learn the pulls. Pulling a group leaving pc on overnight, hoping you don’t dc. which i did many times. Is not by any stretch of the imagination hard. imo, harder no, much much much longer certainly.

Now I don’t want to be a hypocrite here, I did not like it when they changed drunk. And not make people spend the same amount of time. Guess one could say it would seem I have a double standard. lol,
GZ to op, good to see people still playing and working of the titles in GW.

I gather mine, i refuse to buy something I can earn on my own. Nothing against anyone that does buy for w/e reason. After all thats what the tp is there for. For me, its a personal (play my own way) thing. And I am a miser when it comes to spending money.

5 here, problem I have is the desire to do more is simply not there, I do try to get a zone or 2 done a week on a diff toon, when there is nothing going on. I know someday I will get it done. Just not in a hurry.

@Aerlen Well said, and dead on. #2 on your list I have seen so many times. It’s insane. people are a quarter inch away from a wp and want a res. I do not expect someone to res me if I’m near a wp. and I do not bother to res them if they are completely down. And why people can not read the top corner of their screen is beyond me. It cleary says exactly what to do.

I agree with the part about getting in before the 10 min mark, and understand about the afkers. But would like to say, as far as the event (when I get in) I absolutely love it. Now I can’t speak for all servers, but on mine they seem pretty organized and have a high desire to complete the event instead of just farming. I’m sure there are times on GoM there are problems, but I have not had to endure any. Was able to complete all 13 maps with wins. Took a couple times on 2 of the maps.

to op, because of the amount of clicks it takes. I wanted to use something like that. Since there is so much speculation about what is acceptable or not on the forums. I sent in a ticket. The answer I got back, was no it is not acceptable and could possible lead to a perm ban….not exact words but along those lines. So I didn’t use it, took me a week or so to do all the clicking, as I could only stand to do so much at a time.

imo those who say GW2 is dead, pretty much live in a bubble in the game. It is no where near dead. And like GW will have years of life.

@Vayne, would you let us know how this turns out. Not that I ever have any gems to do this by accident. I am just curious how they will handle it. imo, since it was acknowledged it was a mistake by putting you back on the right server. It seems they would refund you.

@Vayne, wow thats some good customer service there. I mean I’ve always had good dealings with them, But to get them to pull that off imho is impressive.

Having had my original GW1 account hijacked, And I felt I had a pretty strong passsword on it. I highly encouage everyone to use any and every available safe guard anet has allowed us to have. Yes some of it can be annoying. But a few seconds is worth more than losing your game even if its for a week or two.

@Drakkon, did the same thing. And hopefully all GW1 vets did. They should know better.

It is so sad, to see so many people complain for something they get for free. Reading this thread makes me think of the homeless that stand on the corner with their sign begging. When you give them food they get mad. Cause they only want money.

about 4 months ago, I was working on the thirsty achievement. Spent the 700k karma needed. And found the amount of clicking was insane. I sent a ticket regarding using a double click program. I sent the ticket as I wanted an answer from anet. Fearing I could lose my account if I used it.
I don’t remember word for word what it said. But in the end. It was very nicely put. That I should not. It was also put. If I did use it. They could not guarantee it would not result in a perm ban.
Any third party program, any activity that gives a benefit that is not obtainable through normal playing could be banned. Any activity that shortcuts regular game funtions.
Now trust me. I very much wanted to use it. But did not. All it takes is once and you could lose all you have done.

good to hear, I’ve always had good experiance with support. I don’t feel they are the flock of evil flying monkeys as some want to say.

Not that I ever use the word. but this is the first time I ever heard of it being a racial slur. Seen plenty of historical movies where it was used. Had to look it up. And sure enough its a slur
