We don’t go down that much so our downed skills aren’t supposed to be the best, still they are not bad.

If they don’t stack I guess that is a buff for builds that don’t use earth. And a general buff for other classes as they pass through frost fields.

Tbh auramancers don’t need more defence :P

Nobody will be able to tell your spec unless they are very astute anyway. Just perform decently and everything will go smoothly.

I’m yet to encounter a group that complained about speed, just die less than everyone else in your party and it’s all good :P

The extra heal power is nice for group healing more than self healing tbh, lots of healing bursts and regen makes a difference in my experience anyway :p

Would be nice to have events be different, or have event chain results elsewhere affect meta events etc.

I think the system supports it, so I hope in the future the events will become even richer. This last patch added lots of events that really added to the life in the world. More the merrier

The dailies are an alternate way to get the gear. If you’re grinding for a month you are doing it wrong.

Also the gear is optional, the dailies are optional. you don’t even need ascended for anything.

Difficult encounters is not a problem, If you can’t do the content then you shouldn’t expect the reward.

If you have an issue, change your build to minimise your weak points.

It’s different when it comes to professions, though you do have some choices in how you build your character. It branches out at 80 due to the complete stat choices and runes/sigils to support your build.

Just remember that the game doesn’t change at level cap, you still do the same stuff for fun, and you still keep levelling and earning skillpoints.

I like it a lot more than the games that change drastically at level cap :p

I can’t think of any mmo that has intentionally solo stuff outside of pvp, you can go solo some champions/dungeons if you want.

I enjoy my t3 skin (goggles) was totally worth it. But they should just remove the stats and make them like the skins you double click to apply.

The supression is way too aggressive it catches normal conversation :/

Carry all the weapons, they are all useful in different situations You’ll always have 3-4 slots available in your invisible bag :P

Whirlpool is pretty great underwater if you can keep pulling them in, it seems underwater eles are just about constant sink/float.

If they keep running away, haven’t you already won? They aren’t on the point :P

You can always use signet of earth after magnetic grasp, its a long immob :p

I’m full support with altruism/water runes and the res trait/aurasharing and it’s a lot of fun.

Just don’t expect your direct heals to keep someone up, sometimes it’s best to use some immob/cripple/knockdown/chill/weaken (we have a lot of control to keep people safe)

I tend to stay mostly in water too (and use the Fire signet for some extra crit/burning) Water 5 does a load of damage if you can get them against a wall.

I guess just try to take advantage of your fields. None of my stuff works underwater (i use conjure and glyph of storms) so i just use arcane abilities :P

Oh and earth bleeds use condition damage so your power/prec doesn’t help it.

You don’t need to be sold you didn’t have to pay for it :P

ecto supply has gone up but so has ecto demand.

The guild missions are pretty huge amount of content. Will just take a while to unlock it.

Ascended from the laurel vendor is account bound, at least the amulet I bought was.

you don’t need 500 people to get guild missions. We’re well on the way to them with just 10.

The agro system in gw2 is quite a bit more complex than just toughness, you have to learn which mobs have which preferences, I like the depth.

I guess everyone else loves numbers :p

Every zone was overflow back at launch :p Lots of people are leaving dungeons to actually take part in the world now :p

Remember that overflow is where a queue to log in would be in other games. Just be happy you can even play at all.

No. Your rewards are already going to be a higher importance within your guild. I always represent and help run activities in my main guild and now i’m an officer. That’s enough reward.

I hope the level cap never increases, that would be a bad idea. @OP Try reading about a game before buying it, everything in the game was advertised.

It’s best to do things before the last minute, in all areas of life.

You can set the time displayed in the options.

You can mirror sprites but mirroring 3d animation isn’t as simple as you might think.

And you still don’t need ascended gear for anything besides the content you get ascended gear in.

I seem to be getting crazy lag on the traps boss encounter in AC path 2.

Namu, trinity generally means that you CAN’T do content without it. Having tanky and supporty characters in a group makes things different, but not having them rarely makes things impossible.

We can spec into various niches, which is nice, but none are absolutely required (maybe they are in fractals, haven’t played past level 5)

You can change your playstyle by mixing gear and traits so it’s not so minmax as many trinity games. You will be a liability to your party in this game if you do 0 damage, as the group support spells are not spammable.

I get enough BL salvage kits from dailies so it’s alright :P I’ve found 2 keys since launch and 2 from storylines. Those chests are kitten Though I’m glad there’s nothing too good in them, or people would be raging about PAY 2 WIN!!?!

Best to wait to see how the other classes changes affect the overall meta, it may not be all doom and gloom.

how do you get class to 80 before realising you dont like it? >.>

I did that with my mesmer, my ele was quite a struggle to level but at 80 it just became amazing (discovering d/d auramancer may be to blame for the sudden awesome).

Alas with mesmer it continued to suck :p maybe there’s a build that would change mind.
