Don’t nerf blind. Just reduce the thief’s sources of blind or make them much more costly.
All the other classes don’t have near the same access to blind. Saying engineer has a 10 sec cd blind is pretty silly considering it’s a trait most engineer builds can’t afford to take.
Most importantly, Aegis is a boon that will always block since there are only 3 classes in the game who can remove boons, and the necro can only do it by using a utility slot (or focus, which no necro uses because it’s a 1.5 sec cast for a boon strip). The other classes will have to eat aegis.
Blind is a condition and can be cleansed through so many sources. How many classes can counter the guardian’s many blocks/aegis by comparison? I count necro and warrior with only unblockable attacks, and only 3 classes with boon removal.
3 on axe strips a boon on each target it hits
How many tpvp necros use axe?
Current meta is condi epidemic, which uses staff/scepter, and necro power builds are still far from viable since their survivability still didn’t improve much and their power based ranged weapon is 600 range, and if they use it they forgo the best team utility that comes with staff.

tried to make staff ele work after the patch, 0/20/0/20/30
while it did gain some nice buffs (being able to move while casting water attunement 5, some aftercast reductions), it still requires a lot of team support (which doesn’t work for me since i solo queue)
although i will say that i was able to stay alive 1v1 for inordinate amounts of time against burst classes

Suffering necro? lol, l2p. Necro’s were insanely good before the patch, that’s why nobody played them.

Necromancers were good before patch, they simply took far more skill. The biggest mistake you could make on trying to run a prepatch Necro was thinking they were good at conditions, prepatch Necromancers were terribad at them compared to other classes, however we had alot of potential in power/bunkering areas. Unfortunately, this patch is more or less for the facerolling masses that don’t know how to play. Now Necro is OP.
So we were awful at conditions and had “potential” at power/bunkering..? Ok then!
but we had the strongest AoE in the game. .

What I will agree upon is that multiple terror necro’s on a team are a royal pain in the butt to deal with. Class stacking is bad no matter what class it is.
What I find funny is that necro’s didn’t suddenly get more bleeds, more poison, more fear or anything else. They did get Torment but it’s a long cooldown, doesn’t last very long and it’s damage really isn’t even that great. People just aren’t used to playing against necro’s. All the cries of fear/terror being OP are just silly as this is something necro’s have ALWAYS had.
Necro’s still have the same problems they had before. No mobility, no vigor, no way to disengage, no way to chase down etc. They are just as squishy as they have ever been.
I said this, when multiple necros they just put one at their back point. Spectral wall can not be avoided by everyone. As a thief I can telelport past it, not everyone can. If you get feared into a wall, you are basically dead. And necros have burning, the burning ticks for like 600 for 4s. That and all the other conditions plus terror is basically a dead thief, or mesmer, or anything else that has the go far point.
I will give this more time to ease into, but trying to cleanse, what 7 or 8 conditions as a thief is near impossible.
if you’re fighting against a necro with burning then they’re a hybrid build and have 0 defenses

if he’s spamming fear then he’s using it offensively rather than defensively, after he’s used ds 3 and sta (ff) 5 all he has is sw, which can be walked around

well these changes were fun while they lasted, it was nice feeling like i had a chance 1v1 on my necro for once

why are you even playing guild wars 2 if you think the game is so boring? being 80 has little benefits over being a level 20 (for example) in this game
honestly the strongest part of this game is the open world pve because the zones are so much fun
idk about wvw but for spvp i’m using a hybrid 30/20/10/0/10 rampager’s a/w and staff build
i haven’t tried out a condition build yet but i’ve been fighting against hordes of p/d thieves in spvp

i use roll for init, withdraw, and signet of agility for lupi, i always wear berserk gear no matter what since you’ll still die if you get hit by whatever hardhitting attack any boss uses (on a thief anyway)

Apart from this ‘delay’ which isn’t showing on the wiki, google, or searching through thief forums, it is working as intended, people just aren’t using it properly.
There is no using jagged horror properly
EDIT: and the comparison is a trait ability between two professions which requires the same investment of trait allocation for vastly different gains. Devs apparently aren’t happy with how strong Last Gasp is as a 15p investment, yet for the smaller 5pt investment thieves are getting a similar stunbreaking ability, whereas necros are left with reanimator in place.

edit: why do you keep referring to blinding powder as a stunbreaker? because it can be used instantly? it doesn’t move you anywhere, it doesn’t drop a fear or stun

Yes there might not be huge negatives like some people are suggesting, but take a look at the other profession’s 5pt trait into their toughness lines, and then look at reanimator, that’s where the detriment is, it’s what you could have had for the same investment.
For thieves, you’re getting a stunbreak which [if they’re stealth specced] will start removing conditions, give ~1k healing and three seconds of total breathing room. When has a jagged horror ever achieved that? Keep in mind that reanimator’s ‘benefit’ doesn’t exist at all until after you have already won a fight.

have you ever played a thief? last refuge is useless, all it usually ever does is give you revealed if you’re attacking a player (even if you try to disengage it isn’t that good because of the delay of the skill from the time you hit 25% health)
edit: also blinding powder isn’t a stunbreak, the thief may be stealthed but you can still just attack where they stealthed, they aren’t invincible while stealthed
I play a thief all the time. If you spam attack when you get a free stealth than that is your problem

As much as I hate to say it I actually agree. sPvP is pointless and a waste of time. Yeah it is fun but it dies really fast with lack of reward. It feels as if you don’t progress. You just do the same small number of arenas against the same people over and over and over with no reward. You can’t even relax in LA while showing off your gained reward because the little bit that you do gain is stuck inside the mists. Still waiting on duel commands and GvG. At the very least a small reward or sPvP. Allow people to level up doing it that would be lovely. We can level on WvW why not sPvP?

i had this weird bug once where the cannon was red like as if i could attack it (i guess because i used a mark while someone was on the cannon)
i do think the cannon should be able to be destroyed, and that people shouldn’t be able to throw the balls on the edge of the platform to endlessly be able to fire cannonballs

If you want an Asura then make a new Asura and make different choices in your story than you did last time.
BTW, roll-play is what you do when PvP consists of rolling dice and performing Strength and Dexterity checks against your opponent instead of actually using the game engine. Role play is when you play the role of a character in an imaginary world.

I’m quite happy with the amount of updates in GW2, but I wish more of it was permanent.
Rift is/was P2P and I was impressed by all the content they released on a regular basis. But, last I heard, they are going F2P as well, or have already done so.They’re going f2p, right now no game except WoW can survive as P2P. It’s simply no longer viable, and it has nothing to do with game quality. The only reason WoW still works as P2P is because it came out at a time when MMO competition was weak at best and honestly still a “niche” of sorts. Plus it was Blizzard and Warcraft.
(sorry I know off topic, but wanted to put that out there before anyone came to the conclusion that Rift was horrid. People seem to have this idea where f2p = horrid)

Yes, that’s some unique faces. You did a good job with the black woman but the old woman looked a bit manlike with a pretty big jaw/chin.
i don’t think her jaw is that big, it just isn’t pointy
it’s sort of how some players call the body type those characters have ‘fat’, when it’s the most realistic shape
why does every female character have to have a small face? many of the human female faces look very child-like and almost absent-minded to me, i’d like to see more ‘strong’ faces with personality like the elderly woman face
