Is it weird that I actually prefer contending with the Grubs??
Granted, Path of Scars is like practically custom built for exactly that task… but I think it’s one of the few things keeping the fight interesting :p (God I wish Entangle was on a 25 sec Recharge in PvE! , lulz)
(edited by ilr.9675)
It’s a really fine line they have to walk here….
If you make some fights take too long b/c their conclusions are dependent on the spawn rate of enemy waves (like Thunderhead Keep was) … then better players just feel punished by the “Time Padding” mechanic. If it’s too dependent on some jump puzzle mechanics like the last AetherBlade rotating ForceField Blender of Mad Scientist Doom or the Jade-Maw … then other classes like Ranger just get artificial difficulty stacked on top of an already punishing PvE-Reality. I could go on here, but I’d rather wait for other people to bring up more examples first….
I suppose I have to ask: What do you think is wrong about the only, all melee, zerker meta?
It crowds everything else out, and does the Exact OPPOSITE of what the Latest Blog Post from Colin says they want Dungeons doing: IE: Rewards commensurate with Time.
…which I think Ironically… would Demand that their STORY modes actually gave better rewards than their Explorables b/c so many of the Explorables can be completed in 15 minutes or less
(edited by ilr.9675)
My face is full of palm today.
+1 … was actually expecting another BaitNSwitch post … the old “they kicked me @ last boss to bring in some other friends” hustle… NOPE
GL OP, keep kitten that chicken!!
No, when I’m healing people I deal almost 0 damage. And those people in low health starting running around like headless chickens so they don’t do damage either. The fight drags on, people keep taking unnecessary damage and die. In other words, if a group constantly needs healing, heals won’t save them. Killing things faster for them, on the other hand, can end those encounters faster or allow them to rally.
Perfect example right here of the RUT we’re stuck in that’s preventing us from getting more interesting Dungeon Encounters. Anet went so far towards Left4Dead and so far away from their first game that there’s not even any room for any of us who fell inbetween.. IE: your Smiter’sBoon monks or anything else that was comfortable plowing through FrostMaw’s HM really fast with the cleansing fire of Dwaynazar…
Anet is just plain BAD at punishing extremes… I think the last time they even tried, was stuff like F.o.C. and Mallyx… and that still didn’t even touch on DPS mashing like SeedofLife or AngelicProtection would if given to respawning “Adds” that actually WERE CC’able…
Does that really only say level 8? …you started off glitching behind the Terrain for a level 8 run?? …okay whatever… I was gonna say “Great job guys, now do it /w 5 Rangers” but upon review, I don’t think anybody’s got time for dat…
I’ll use Howl quite often … but only right up against a Gate to fear whoever is on the other side. Or I’ll put the wolf in Stealth and run it to the back of a huddle and fear them directly towards us or sometimes off a cliff or their own tower Walls… It’s not very effective but it’s a funny WvW troll move and in WvW, there’s really no such thing as a “Score” anymore. So that only leaves Troll moves for keeping score.
Even profs that used to get Badges faster have just been upstaged by this latest AP rewards update giving so many pure PvE carebears (who gave up on WvW the instant they couldn’t finish one of its Jump Puzzles without a fight) … like 2000 Badges for collecting titles that are 90% against the dumbest A.I. mobs in the game.
(edited by ilr.9675)
They’re making us less reliant on our pets, which is a good thing.
Stealth doesn’t do anything for us in PvE. DPS is the ONLY thing that matters in PvE b/c Anet apparently was only able to build 1 or 2 intelligent Epic Fights in this game (like the Iron Forgeman) and the rest of it is all a Faceroll that our pets honestly were never any good at.

Guard needs a longer range.
I’m constantly coming up short with it while escorting the Pact in Straits of Devastation.
It also has an annoying habit of “stealth dropping” all aggro your pet already has making it a really bad idea for recasting while trying to protect an NPC (like Hodgins in AC)
(edited by ilr.9675)
How do i shot OP? It’s on a really LOOOONG cooldown??
…is how the effect Combination system works?
Let’s take “magicka” for a second … if I stack together Steam (Water+fire) And Lightning and channel it into a Boss…. that crap’s getting gibbed in a few seconds, no ifs ands or buts. … If I try any of that here, it cancels out or does really lackluster damage. Or if I lunge through enough Fields, I get just enough seconds of the “shield” thing on me to be hit ONCE and then it disappears again. And my worthless pet gets even LESS opportunities to benefit from these Combos. Dave Letterman would be rolling in his grave over this if he was actually dead and still had the rights to Stupid-Pet-Tricks
.
And what if I equip special Sigils that should be making more environment effects? …esp on crits where we should be better b/c of our Perma-Fury potential. …NOPE, it’s always just better to go Accuracy, Night, or Force sigils. (High blood/heal Necros have this same issue with Vampiric & other leeching effects that should be right up their alley but actually suck really hard compared to raw power builds or MM cheese that’s even found its way into sPVP).
Why are all of these cool effects, that were a huge part of Anet’s Marketing of this game, so short lived? (and why aren’t they replacing the Magic Find gear with gear stats that alter the Durations & DMG on these Combos?). Do they even WORK against all Structural Objectives like Turrets & Catapults and Burrows? Should they scale up on Condition or something else?
These are the kinds of Questions I think we should be asking Anet when it come to PvE given their begrudging nod towards the issue 2 days ago when we got another Blast finisher (that I still can’t tell if it’s even working right in Zergs b/c it doesn’t RENDER!)
(edited by ilr.9675)
At the beginning of GW2… those first 2 months, yeah it payed off for my Guardian to go all Healing. It still pays off sometimes in completely “NEW” dungeons, just like I’m sure it does for people who go all PVT gear as well. But yeah… those windows of opportunity are Short-lived due to just how Rote-memory based a lot of Anet’s “Challenge” design has ALWAYS been. If they spent even HALF of what they spent on cash shop Models (& other crap) …. on A.I. development instead, then Healing & Condition and Bunker / CC , and all other matter of “Divergent but mostly USELESS” specs coulda stayed pretty popular.
Meanwhile…. I’m quietly trying to build him up a whole new gearset. * shrug * :\
Sometimes it’s still fun to just join Pugs that you have a feeling are going to be horrible, then just Carry them through every single encounter in the dungeons. It’s a nice challenge and a real throw back to my days of Monking in GW1…. (but I wouldn’t wanna do it EVERY day, heh)
(edited by ilr.9675)
But you don’t have a video of it, do you?
And your videos only show what normally happens anyway. IE: you’re attempting to disprove an unkown, or attempting to say b/c you have 3 videos of it not happening, that it never ever happens. Yeah that’s how bugs work…. </sarcasm>
…except for the sparks showing up after her defeat… no I can’t comment on that one.
Either way… all you do is talk past me, and ignore all of the data I’ve provided. I can only assume you do this and make videos instead, b/c you don’t understand programming. THAT’S FINE. Most people don’t. Just say “I don’t believe you” and move on. There was never any reason to drag this out into an argument. It’s not a popularity contest… and there’s no reason to try and convinvce Anet NOT TO INVESTIGATE THIS. Is that what you’re trying to do?? B/c I can’t for the life of me explain why you wouldn’t let this go and let the experts handle it. It’s not a job for D.P.S.‘perts. It’s a job for the guys who have the source code sitting right in front of them.
Here’s a question that defies all your Expertise as well:
When was the last time you took longer than 3 hours to get to Simin?
(edited by ilr.9675)
15 what??
he couldn’t possibly mean stacks…
That’s fine too…
But hey a Guardian can also play at mid-range if they’re full boon Duration spec’d Buff bots. …maybe depends on the dungeon… but saying that a downed guardian is always some Martyr for maximinzing the group’s DPS is just malarky. If he was as “Elite” as his first comments implied, he wouldn’t have been downed at all. My Guardian has 900 healing and less than 15K hp but rarely gets downed. It’s a class that’s literally invulnerable to everything if you can avoid Panicking. Remembering to change utils between every fight also helps. … so no, the guy in the Screenshot doesn’t get a free pass just b/c he’s expected to be in Melee.
Champ Aboms (massive damage 180 degree instant Cleave as an auto-attack … no telegraph… wtf anet?)
Do you play with goggles on or something?
You’re thinking of that big wind-up narrow cone just like the Crusher does. No I’m talking about the Abom’s auto-attack and how it scales up with more than 10 people nearby. It’s a 3/4 second attack that does atleast 20k against targets with 2000 toughness. A lot of time Evades don’t even work because of the proximity skill lag induced by too many players in the area.
(edited by ilr.9675)
Yeah I’ve seen a few instances of what the OP posted.
… it’s not uncommon for ppl’s mouths to write checks their kittens can’t cash.
Luckily they’ve been few and far between from my view…
As a ranger, I’m offended by his statement to not play with us.
No, but seriously.
I’m more offended by Neko’s statement above yours implying that Guardian/War is the only melee classes. Bull kitten, my Ranger spends more time in Melee (than my Guardian) against more dangerous bosses every day. It’s the only way to get decent DPS out of it.
The only thing in the game I won’t melee is Champ Aboms (massive damage 180 degree instant Cleave as an auto-attack … no telegraph… wtf anet?) and Lyssa’s Gorrilla

Straits of Devastation, Both parts involving escorting the subs to Brassclaw.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcPFgGqlSfM
That’s not LAG. That is a constant upward force resetting everyone to the surface in the confines of the this Event.
This doesn’t just happen to players, it happens to the NPCs and even the Enemies near the subs. And then in the second Phase, it doesn’t even start because half the NPC’s can’t get into position or something to trigger it to begin. So the whole Event stalls out and never starts.

Another niche the Ranger needs is the old effects of Search and Rescue. This is something that made the Ranger an essential team player for High Level fractals, but awhile back they removed the functionality to resurrect Defeated players.
Willing to bet it was a pure PvP focused change too…
Easy to split, but read Sharp’s latest post, noooo they claim they don’t have time/manpower for simple things like that. …yet Colin’s blog says all new skills are coming in the future. I think I liked it better when they weren’t saying anything at all.
lol what achievements?
…just been doing regular PVE the past few days for materials like always b/c that’s much better character progress for all my alts
Well I finally made up my mind on who to vote for…
(thanks to the Smiter’s Boon guy for letting me know who else not to trust)
#Kiel all the way
Accusing us of having 30 second spark pulls when my very first post about it said they were 15… followed by 7 seconds to beat on her. … We get it, you don’t think it’s a bug. Now get this… she never got over 55% health when we were pulling sparks. And definitely no where near 65%.
Also not asking Anet to make spark pull time not factor into the DPS-window. Obviously it’s easy enough already. … Just want them to fix how their stupid NPC’s can’t be reset when something really buggy actually DOES happen to them. (like Simin standing there fighting us for 3 straight minutes @ exactly 51% HP which you still haven’t explained).
It doesn’t really help that most of the beastmastery traitline and half of every other trait line except Marksmanship and Wilderness Survival is fairly useless.
Well that’s a much bigger over-arching issue… one that needs fixing at the same time
Traps honestly would be really bad just thrown into the Wilderness Survival line, as it would force users to either build for offense or defense, and currently with most builds, building into WS improves survival with that build, but it would literally force trap builds to go full offense
This makes absolutely no sense. And Nec’s / Thieves with high conditions builds have a fraction of the Survival there (in upper PvE … where stealth doesn’t help). But nevermind that… I’m still trying to figure out how a line that would give you 300 extra toughness along with the best CC resists, could possibly be considered lacking in Defense??
Are we even playing the same game?
We don’t want MORE damage.
We just want the Damage BACK that was TAKEN FROM US since Launch.
We’re not even asking for that damage in PvP either.
When doing the trial for each candidate Gnashblade says he wants the loot for himself and Kiel says she wants to return the loot to its owner. Why on earth would anyone want to elect Evon Gnashblade to “serve the people”?
I dunno…. people who are actually honest with themselves??
Watch the Lyssa Temple being done by a Zerg some time…or any WvW fight for that matter. It’s Hilarious how many people will abandon the 5 unlucky players who all got hit by the Gorrilla’s Instant kill or Treb Shots or whatever…. Especially after the Chest pops and half the zerg already looted it while the other half is downed b/c of a giant pink imaginary monkey that didn’t render and also didn’t Despawn when it should have.
It’s Awesome!
.
Then please, tell me what happened because I do not know.
Where did the fight happen? Who were the fighting armies aside from margonites? All orrians supported the 5 gods? Who casted Abaddon down? How?
Speaking purely from a lore stand point: The Gods and their antics is actually quite boring compared to the rest of the races of Tyria predating them. I had a suspicion very early on that the Gods who were mostly a Construct of James Phinney (who’s now gone), … would follow closely in the Lore of Sacrifice which he was also the Head “settings/Lore” Dev of. …IE: they didn’t actually create much of anything in this World, they only arrived here as its fair-weather Saviors (or in Marduk’s/Stratos’ case, much like Dhuum & Abaddon, it’s Demonic Destroyer). Right off the bat in Arah path 4 for instance, it finally tells you that the Bloodstone … the CENTRAL plot device of probably 2/3’s of the entire setting of GW1 … wasn’t even created by the Gods. It was sewn together by the Seers from the Magic either leaked by… or as of-that-time which had-yet-to-be consumed by the waking dragons. So once again…. everything centered around the Dragons … and the “Rift”. Humanity itself is not a unique snowflake but just a magic vessel for these very flawed and often contradicting Gods to spread their self-aggrandizing across multiple planes.
Meanwhile what’s behind the Reactor’s meltdown seems to have something to do with the Crystals which predate the God’s arrival and may even explain how the Seearing was possible in the first place. Or it could explain how the Rift came to be. Either way, that’s a lot more important than fighting a bunch of Still-Human at-that-point Margonites in stupid little boats who will probably gives us even worse Drops than either Bandits or Arah currently gives. ….even as demons they gave horrible drops in the first game.
…See this is Gnashblade’s entire angle … he WANTS YOU to stay poor and only get crappy drops so that his BLTC has no real competition. If Kiel wins then there’s a good chance the Reactor instance will dump tons of rare valuable ancient and truly arcane Mats into the game just like COE tends to…
(edited by ilr.9675)
Bad Telegraphing has been a constant issue with this game.
That’s really all you had to say…
I specifically remember a Fruit Loops commercial that answered this extremely serious charge… In real time, Sam would have been under water a good 5 minutes utilizing only a Snorkel. Given the extreme realism of both mediums here, I think we can negotiate a delicate but fair correlation that even top Scuba organizations & the Lions coast Guard would back.
(edited by ilr.9675)
Active Guilds FTW…
Not sure which side of the fence the OP falls on… but if it’s the "I’m serious into RP’ing a crafter but not motivated enough to actually Advertise my services like the rest of humanity has done for the past millennia " ….then I dunno what to tell ’em.
Get used to disappointment?
(edited by ilr.9675)
Most new recipes seem geared more towards using up higher quantities of ingredients that have too much “Supply” and no Demand. Mushroom Loaf for instance would have been a PERFECT recipe if not for the fact they totally screwed it all to hell by requiring ROSEMARY. (Seriously…. who does that before even checking the price of Rosemary and realizing it’s already super high demand b/c of Herbed Broths ??)
people often complain about how they spend so much time and money trying to save for one, I bought around 70g worth of rares and got one. This is the third time its happened. I never spend more than 100g at a time and it seems to work fine for me
RNG is RNG. The fact that you can consistently do it with ~70g and others can’t IS the problem.
Streak Breaker Code would solve this problem… Just start mentioning it in any thread that Smith posts to… or any thread that Colin or Lindsey miiight read.
And if they won’t do that… they could atleast bring back the “Unlucky” Title and give ppl something even more unique for maxing it
+1 on Path4 being a bit lower in the skill spectrum compared to 1 & 2. The Lysssa fight actually takes some thinking/blocking and positioning, but all the rest of the priests are literally “Beat on this Purple things as long as you can”, usually from range in Mel & Balth’s case unless you’re more survival spec’d. It just takes a long time which everyone agrees may make it the next Farming candidate once the Blog Reward changes go through so there’s no time like the present to get in that habit once “Speed runs” stop being so Meta.
So after months of reports about a specific tower you never thought to go out and try and recreate the bug?
… Sorry its hard not to be a bit grumpy about thisBetter late then never i guess
That’s easy to say here where there aren’t like 50 crazy things all happening at once. I had a similar brain fart when we encountered the completely bugged version of Simin and I neglected to record it b/c we so busy just trying to find a forum post with a method to FIX IT. ….it really can go any number of ways in the heat of battle :p
well, it seems like every part of the game is not happy about the balancing that is going on..
This is what I’m saying.
The only exception was some weird longbow/ranger changes yesterday that still clearly weren’t helpful to PvE. The WvW crowd which is very vocal in the forum were singing praises for the first time in (except for heavy condition Settlers Roamers who relied on GS for Defense and were getting a little too much out of GS’s #2 skill with Bleed abuse when compared to what the rest of us are getting out of GS’s historically multi-nerfed Damage) …. been months and months now since ANYONE had anything good to say in there that wasn’t pure sPvP gimmick based.
While it would be great to see the trend reverse like this ALL the time, I think we all know it’s not just going to happen on coin flips. There has to be concerted efforts here to include PvE balance or atleast base it more off WvW if they’re going to continue to outright refuse us lots of minor (increasing stats instead of changing entire function) Skill Splits.
pls
We’ll be more than happy to leave your little private club here…
…Just as soon as this Balance Team starts talking to THE REST OF US out in the other forums where they should have been all along. …..that’s what this thread is about isn’t it? Communication??
They still haven’t answered the BIGGEST question:
—> Why balance 90% of the game around 10% of its Playerbase?
(edited by ilr.9675)
Templates? What are these templates they speak of? Sounds almost too good to be true. …like something we couldn’t live without if we had been given them last year…
The exchange is far from a mystery, if you take what you know of how it works, and applying knowledge of MMO life cycles in both game and economy, everything you want to know becomes pretty clear.
…such as Gold Farms some people were doing since the first month of release, being shut down once everyone starts doing it
Cycles are fun. Even the 2nd or 4th time around (for those of us who have been playing since prophecies) …b/c we get to watch everyone else fall into them.
PS: “unfunflation” aside, I agree with that guy ^above^ … they should really be closer to 5g by now and the fact it spikes down about 15% every week on Friday during the big Reset, suggests something else unexpected keeps happening (ghost in the machine?)
One wonders what the “Desirability Vs Attainability” curve equations would do if it was 5g?
(edited by ilr.9675)
This will result in gold becoming harder to obtain for pugs, but easier to obtain for groups that know how to cheese through content by using exploits.
That’s not actually anything new…. there’s several other “farms” in the game more profitable than “pugging” COF. And you call it cheese, they call it skill. Just like how a lot of people call it cheesing to be rerunning the easiest mission in the game every 7 minutes… Either way your logic is getting caught in a vicious cycle.
Meanwhile… the Blog promises changes to reduce how much gold you actually NEED to get what you really want. Net result: doing a variety of other things will be the more direct path than repeating this … silly little … cave…
Splitting skills between game modes increases unnecessary work load for them.
That’s a really convenient position to have when all of the changes being made, are being made specifically to benefit YOUR format. Of course that’s going to save time also, WHEN it means you don’t have to test and calculate what an impact it has on the other Formats and their Myriad of sub-formats. Right now it’s not even being balanced for ALL of PvP, it’s only being balanced for a niche mode of PvP where 5 players camp static Capping points and see who can bunker the best … what happens if CTF or GVG or Domination or Onslaught ever finally gets added?
Face it, you’d be singing a completely different tune if the only format they were balancing for was one you didn’t care for… And if we were REALLY being honest with ourselves here, we’d all admit that format isn’t even fun to follow on E-sports. Spectators want to see Pentakills and other over the top crap. They want to see a big clash and high Kill streaks. …not watch a bunkering/timer ratio while the camera skips around trying in vein to discern where the action is actually happening.
.
…and we’re just getting started here on convenient truths…
What about this latest blog post promising they’re adding MORE SKILLS TO THE GAME that even people like me who are running out of PvE content, are totally against for the same reason they claim “they don’t have time to make Splits”. ….. Oh but they have time to add new skills as Progression rewards? ….which is it?? It can’t be both. If they don’t even have time to make slightly different versions of core skills between Bunker-Ball & Dungeons … then why do they magically have the manpower to make completely new skills that many of us agreed shouldn’t even happen yet b/c of the problems it caused in GW1 once there was too many of them to try and balance. ….and HALF of those DID HAVE SKILL SPLITS. Funny how they found time back then… when their live team was half the size of a Bennegins wait staff…
(edited by ilr.9675)
I think most people are just worried about getting a complete X-factor who may or may not ever learn how to stay up in the Lupi fight. They’re almost justified in that too because 1 player going down a lot on Lupi can drag the rest of the team down too when they get downed themselves trying to bring that other player back up too often. And that can easily happen if the “New player” gets Lupi’s “primary” or “secondary” aggro but doesn’t have either the Speed+Regen or Blocking+Reflecting to handle either one.
My first time doing it… I got exactly that aggro… including being the chase target for his Barf Bubble in phase3. It wasn’t my idea of a fun time b/c I went into it with “Tome” instead of Renew Focus (biiiiiig mistake)
And the only real way to know is if you do Lupi enough times to read his telegraphs.
And yet, I’ve seen people who’ve done him a dozen times who still don’t seem to get it.
(especially when it comes to nailing those extra grubs being spit out between phase 1 and phase 2 …. unlike a bad teammate… those things REALLY ARE worth going down for b/c they define the entire fight after that and can even decide which Food & Drink you need to pop next).
we have many new players who are still on lower levels but despite that they are still great people with who game is fun, so leaving guild and joining another is not really option.
You can be in multiple guilds… you just can’t “Represent” more than 1 at a time.
And the Arah group isn’t really even a guild, it’s a listing of who’s online and Rank generally indicates their Experience level. My rank is like somewhere above initiate (haven’t even checked to be honest) …which means I’ve done every path and you could for instance, PM me anytime that I’m not busy soloing the “Pre’s” for Orr Temples … and I’d join to be a filler, in most cases. (Teamspeak would be extremely helpful too).
(edited by ilr.9675)
Please tell me this isn’t over with after today’s patch. This thread become popcorn that makes it own butter the instant they started talking about DOAC. More plz
It’s a work flow issue, hope this makes sense. It would also mean that players would have to learn 3 different versions of every skill, which is not good for new players.
Not buying it. And neither are most other PVE’ers. Have yet to see one complete set of balance changes clearly designed to help PvE’ers and maybe showed the slightest disregard for up-lel PvP. It’s always going in the other direction. And somehow still not satisfying the PvP’ers as this thread demonstrates. Even some of the PvE dungeons lately seem more like a PvP arena than something clearly intended to be fair to every class in PvE. If that isn’t trying to condition PvE’ers to accept PvP as the “Alpha and Omega” here, then I don’t know what is… (maybe ya ain’t noticed, but they judge alpha by what gives the best l00t)
(edited by ilr.9675)
Maul should honestly have a better power coefficient.
THIS is the only issue I’m seeing….
Long Showy animation … basically no up front damage since a month after launch when they nerfed it for s{PvP} but forgot to make a PvE split (just liek everything else still wrong with this class … no PvE split). Stop complaining about the missing Bleed, start complaining about the missing EVERYTHING SPLIT.
(edited by ilr.9675)
I switch between the two constantly and I am not seeing any noticeable difference from yesterday. …maybe it’s just your choice in Gear?
Is this a troll thread??
What’s the point of Stealth if spirits follow you wherever you go giving away your location? Even a stealthying Minion Master necro would be more effective (b/c it’s minions follow YOU, not him)
…the greatsword, which was a fun weapon for PVE dungeon content…
…The only way to get at least some use out of it now with a crit/condition build, is…
WAT
Are you completely sure neither of these was a Typo?? If so, what dungeon “content” are you talking about exactly?? … Don’t make me explain why 25 Bleed stacks usually get capped way before Vuln stacks do. :p (yes even in a 5 man team)
(edited by ilr.9675)
Did he just say 5 Guardians can’t DPS?
Where’s Dub when we actually need him?
Where’s “Plan D” ?
(d is for distraction … the best kind of plan)
No seriously… ask yourself, What would Vael do?
(edited by ilr.9675)
Yeah I saw my own guild skipping these guys and I was like “WAT DA EFF??”
It’s only the Abom you have to hide from & let walk by and that’s really a GAMEWIDE issue of Aboms having stupidly poor-scaling “Artificial Difficulty” than it is to do with dungeon mechanics or rewards in general.
EDIT: ^^ Yeah, Exactly what Nilkemia said better in Layman’s terms, lol ^^
Gotta love the GreyMarket Reverse-psychology posts that usually come up in this forum.
….Nice loophole around your anti Ad policy Anet.
(especially when all indicators from Colin’s blog suggests the exact OPPOSITE)
You completely ignore ascended armor and 400-500 crafting. I highly doubt those recipes will not require many stacks of ecto.
Every Tier of Crafting thus far has been only 1 and 1/2 full sets…which only amounts to ~45 ectos. Meanwhile I’ve already made twice that many Exotic sets on most of my disciplines by now and I STILL DON’T HAVE a DPS set for my Guardian yet >:P ….this doesn’t begin to factor in Superior Runes that are not only highly profitable…. but will be super easy for smart investors right now to secure all the Mats for them they’ll ever need.
(edited by ilr.9675)
Would you prefer I sold it to you for 30 Gold instead? Yes? No?
Considering just how few Gems 30 gold buys now?
<— and this is coming from someone who believes Gems are still undervalued
Puts Online Poker to shame, heh… (Fun fact: some states have actually gotten Poker recognized as sport by definition b/c your “performance” in a good Bluff is more important than your hand … kind wish we had atleast that level of minigame interaction with Zomomoron when it came to the old mystic toilet, haha)
