I commonly end up with 20+ stacks just skirmishing by sm. It’s a little over the top and stops some fights cold. Perma treb poison and swimming in ac/cat spam is bad enough

Yeah, siege is kittened. It’s all we ever fight in t3. I’m pveing for APs now out of sheer boredom.

The stacks go up forever until someone is downed, at which time if you try to rez someone, you insta pop. I’ve seen 40 stacks on someone. And getting 15 stacks on you isn’t difficult because there is no red circle, just a minor animation of burning that doesn’t occupy the actual radius of the shot. The duration of each shell is 15s, meaning the stacks are constantly going up on everything in a 400 radius (while the mortar is still firing at one location), which is huge if it’s going into a tower. 4s of burn per stack at 15s duration per mortar.

It’s basically this: by the time you cleanse the first obnoxious stack, the mortar will land again. You will notice this as a problem if you ever attack an inner tower in EBG where multiple mortars are landing inside the tower and mass stacking a very enclosed area.

Don’t stand in the fire doesn’t really apply when there’s so much incoming fire and masses of people moving around in it.

Reduce the maximum stacks and the duration of each stack.

I’d like to see some more fun things we can place in the guild hall that makes it feel more like you’re Indiana Jones.

Such as a spike you can put in the wall to swing from one area to another, then glide. wheeeee!

There are mushrooms and things in areas of the ghall that are fun to use, but I’d like to be able to add them places, too.

I would very much like to be able to create proper bridges (as seen in various parts of the guild hall currently).

I’ve played in several guilds who’ve made elaborate and complex jumping puzzles, and when you go to other massive areas in the ghall, it would be much cooler if you could have full access to those places easier. It’s high time the ghall got it’s next unlock for further exploration.

So what you’re saying is, you want them to run the same size as a mag “solo” roamer group.

I wish conjures could be like an F5 type ability. I also wish they lasted a full minute instead of 15 charges.

Int/Energy might be fun sigils with that setup. Possibly glyph heal adds more dynamic.

We all love the loot fests available to us in PVE world, and even in WvW, and I think we could make it even better with these 2 simple optimizations. I recently bought another bank tab (at 187g for 600 gems) to hold more non-essential items so that I didn’t have to stop and salvage constantly to be able to continue looting.

Salvaging
I think there should be a faster way to salvage all greens (master) and blues (fine) in your inventory. I already know you can type the bracketed terms into the search and click from there, but when the materials take up the space where you were clicking, you have to clear the search and find your salvage kit again.

So the idea is simply add a right-click to salvage kits to “salvage all (+arrows to rarity)”.

Depositing on the fly
Add a right-click to the bag icon at the top left of your screen to deposit all instantly.

After the rest of your server is dead, then yeah, I guess jumping on the “3” man that’s left at the end is considered bad form. /shrug

• Mixed Borderlands – I don’t want either of these maps. Alpine is slightly better now with tactivators. Sentries still don’t have the kit, though.
• World Linking Schedule – Never link worlds again. There should be way less servers for WvW, though. Top tier servers shouldn’t have gotten anyone linked at all.
• Deployable Mortars – Definitely not.
• Deployable Cannons – Same as above.
• Repair Hammer – Only for golems. There are people who place siege incorrectly, and those shouldn’t be repaired. Likewise for automatic siege. All of those items that can be aoe’d from outside by players shouldn’t keep getting supply added to them. That just encourages carelessness.

Special Mention

• WvW Priorities – I wouldn’t mind being able to move useless siege into the proper location. None of the things in the survey mean anything to me in terms of a priority.

The rank system is dumb, imo. It just shows how no-life you are, and gives a false sense of skill level since it is the same title on a brand new alt. The whole thing needs an overhaul to be based on matches, unidle time, and so forth. More competitive. Keep the wxp levels going, but don’t tie titles into it.

Who gives a ruck?

I think there’s an entire cat worth of fur in the pc case. Does that effect it?

30% cpu usuage, and 67% ram usage, playing with best peformance settings and I get a full minute loading screen when I use a waypoint.

What is the problem with this game?

I have fibre ops highspeed. 60 fps average, and 82 ping average.

Gold, silver and bronze should be based on your place in your tier, not what tier you’re in. That will prevent mass transfers to higher tiers to ensure better rewards. Where it is right now, having just 4 tiers is a good balance of players and queue times imo.

I’m in favor of another tourny, and especially more achievement points.

Add an organize/view by (and or search term) item level.
A good example for me would be able to just type “400” in the search bar to show all the top created foods I can make.

I can never remember all the good foods I can make with my chef. Please create this.

This doesn’t happen to me, but I get random d/c’s when I try to queue for a map, and waypointing takes forever sometimes. I use up-to-date non-beta graphics, with best performance settings.

Can’t place siege in home borderland. lol
More reason not to play.

Just started randomly getting disconnected in Eternal Battelgrounds WvW.
Skills take between 3 and 30s. Waypointing takes between 30s to never. Using keep portals to enter and exit don’t work at all.

I also couldn’t drop the supply kit from the sentry prior to this happening, or see/type in squad chat. Yet I can type in and read guild chat. Then eventually I couldn’t type in there either.

You know you can overload water in mist form?
I like mist form because anyone targeting thinks they’ve killed you and you’re in vapor form, so you can sometimes bait out more cds and not waste your dodges and lightning flash.

How much would you actually be healing with the draining sigil? Isn’t it just static and unsteady ground interrupting?

One thing that might be cool would be to double tap burning retreat to auto-matically about-face to use it as a better escape.

Anyone else have any ideas with this? I think it’s interesting how many there are and how some classes have so many of them.

Be honest, is mag a blob server or is dh just a wimp server?

I meta (yawn-fested) my way to soloQ legend in spvp, I’m mostly looking for a WvW build for roaming and zerg.

I do run celestial with staff and d/f. Str/energy on staff, and another staff with bloodlust/energy. Dagger is leeching, focus is energy. Trooper runes. I love tempest. I get a crap ton of extra condi damage from easily applicable might. I just want a 3rd set that gives me condi options as a fun new toy. yaknowwhatimsayin’

I don’t even know what to say right now. It’s pretty much comedy gold above.

To address T3 topic from page 1: If you own Overlook in ebg, and you mostly just spam cannons, trebs, mortars, acs, etc non-stop at fights in the road between northern sm and overlook, you deserve to be spawn camped with players and siege. Literally every time we killed annoying wall siege, DH rebuilt it as soon as it was clear again. lol If your team is constantly running out the same set of stairs for hours on end from your spawn, why would we (Mag) leave? It’s not like green is doing anything. They also get camped in their keep. You’re not Mag’s play toy, but look at your KDR and ask yourself if you’re doing something wrong as a server or not.

As for T2: I believe Mag will move up past FA at this rate. We’re getting mountains of ppt from kills alone.

Quick, transfer to Mag while it’s still cheap!

I’m not interested in pve or raids, just WvW and spvp.
Be honest, is there anything viable compared to power and healing?

Burn? Perplex? Wat? What weapons? I feel like staff would be horribly slow application of condis other than burn stacking.

I want to make a condi set, but I have no clue where to start.

The footprints could be tied into a scribe/guild upgrade/wvw upgrade for owning a keep or stonemist, and the like. Perhaps only active while within the buff radius.

The back piece could either be based on either guild, server, team colour, position in the matchup, or whatever. The back armor should also have achievements attached to unlocking it (imho), and they should have to fall in suit of being a benefit to your server, not just yourself. It should also look cool! Put Colin smiling on it!

Didn’t it used to do this in the old days? It’s unranked so I don’t see the problem.

It’s completely boring playing a full match 5v4. You HAVE to sit through the entire thing or you get the debuff if you leave.

I’m already in Legendary, I’m just finishing reward tracks now. I do my 3 ranked matches a day, and that’s it.

At least you didn’t get double infracted for talking about kittens in a leeto thread.

S/D was possible. Condi wasn’t the dominating factor. I personally find condis way out of balance since toughness has 0 effect against it.

The game is spamming my chat with this message every 20s, roughly.
I logged out of the game entirely, switched characters, switched guild reps; nothing worked.

Pick Your Top Issue in WvW!

How often do you get 1v1s in any game mode without organizing it with everyone around you? This isn’t based on 1v1s. PvE is the entirety of PvE.

I’m a casual player in spvp: 3-10 games, or 3 as an average per day. I got to diamond soloQ on just an Ele, playing Meta auramancer with mostly cleric, and a bit of menders toward the end. If you play any of the meta classes, you should have no problem. My longest lose stream was 3 games, and that happened once. I believe if you are really good at any of the meta classes, getting to diamond is not going to take very long. There were many games where I lost by only 30 points. The toxic part is when one person on your team is just trash talking your own team. But hey, that’s their problem, just laugh it off. Try to communicate rotations instead of just telling people to rotate.
