Its not bad luck. Happens to many people. Haven’t had a single day that I never get several 4v5 matches.

They already have dishonor system but it takes 5 offense to get the 3 day ban from tPVP which doesn’t really work. I don’t even know anyone that ever gotten the ban yet.

-Most casual players that do a several games a week won’t really hit 5 offense or even aware of the system
-Queue so long that people tend to forget they were queued
-Need warning message on first offense and incrementally longer punishment for each offense after.

LB Ranking has nothing to do with # of wins or W/L ratio. As you said, it depends who you beat and lose to. Each game is weighted differently.

Team/guild rating & legendaries are already in the works. When? who knows.

You can add all these and give more incentives/rewards, but eventually it still swings back to balance issue, bugs, and broken systems that made it less fun for people.

GW2Esports guild is probably the closest thing to what you are looking for.

Annoying bug.

Workaround: Stand still, don’t move your mouse or press anything but the interact key once. If that doesn’t work, move far away and repeat.

because putting a system to check/prevent non 5v5 matches would be too complicated and they didnt have enough time. So they just took the team queue system and modified it slight for solo-q. Thats my guess.

Just think of sPVP as a side hobby project they work on whenever they have spare time.

Well in my case i have thousands of tourney games won. If it can’t be fix, or won’t be can people get transfers back? Don’t want to spend $40 to transfer to and back because of a pvp bug.

I asked in support for refund on transfer, but they didn’t reply. They really should because these transfers are expensive. Basically a whole $25 gem card one way. $50 for both.

He should be refunded; being charged for transferral only to find it breaks your game isn’t acceptable.

As for this thread, I’ve just accepted now that I may as well just stick to my alt account on EU and leave my r56 on NA to rot.

Well support escalated my ticket for a day then closed it. No further contact, response and no resolution. Afterwards I got a support survey asking how well they performed.

This is still a known issue. We recognize that this impacts some of our players heavily, so we definitely want to remedy it. However, the fix is rather involved, so we don’t yet have an ETA on when this will be fixed.

WoW. Really? Can I get refund on my transfer gem cost?

I have over 2600+ tournament wins on NA, so i need to win 2600+ matches on EU before I begin receiving chest again?

Possible reasons

1. They don’t care enough about PVP community
2. The task is rocket science and too complex
3. They have something better plan but taking too long to release
4. They like the system as is with little or zero decay

^ or there is no one else at the time to queue up with

Maybe RNG (if it exist) for matchup is broke just like how we got temple map 80% of the time.

Would be nice to have replay game recordings. Not talking about video streams, but actual game replay files you can spectate and explore back. But probably too much to ask of Anet to make happen.

I think they become invisible to LB but you have option of upgrading to paid account and it reappears again?

They are working kitten PVE content with a sprinkle of WvW.

PvP is a side hobby.

Just revert or tone down some of the changes that buffed necro and spirit rangers.

Dishonor needs immediate & incremental punishment instead of waiting until 5 stacks. Don’t think i know of anyone that gotten the 3day dishonor ban yet.

R59 Looking for a competitive team to play.
Played over 2,800+ team tourney wins on NA, but looking for a team on EU.

I can play any profession well. Champion titles on all, but my EU account only have 4 character slots atm. So I can only play Guard(bunk), Thief(roamer), War(CC), Ranger(Backpoint). Unless the team really need something beside those I can delete and remake whatever that is needed.

Only place you won’t see much afk is in the upper end of the leaderboard since those people obviously don’t want to lose and actually have something to lose.

A queue for a solo-q match can take 5-10 minutes during which time there will be people whom have forgotten they queued. This results in AFK players at the start of the match. It is unfortunate, but I see this happen quite often and becomes frustrating. Ideally, if the queue time were faster this might be less of an issue.

Possible solution: boot everyone back into queue if not all 10 players have entered the map before the count down timer and penalize the AFK player with dishonor.

Speaking of dishonor, players should get a warning on their first offense and get increasing timeout time for each additional offense there after. Requiring 5 offense before a penalty is too lax. Many casual players don’t even play 5 games to have any impact. Likely they are clueless of such system too.

-R1 clueless players

Get all those regularly in solo-q.
Its a luck of the draw and chances are ill get one or more of the above in a game.

Dishonor system doesn’t work. 5 stacks before punishment is too lax.

Should be: First offense gives a warning msg. Each offense after will incrementally increase timeout time.

Many threads debated this in the past but nothing has been done, and likely nothing will be.

Instead of punishing the leavers in a 4v5 situation (which already happens), I say ArenaNet should reward the disadvantaged team more, to give incentive for the disadvantaged team to continue with the match.

Or, auto-balance. If a match begins as a 4v5, a 30 second countdown will begin for the 5-man team to choose who to kick, making the match a 4v4. The kicked player will not receive any changes to their rating or match history, and they will simply be returned to the Heart of the Mists.

lol what if its a 5v3, do they get to pick 2 players to kick? IMO, not really a good idea to choose a player to kick.

If 10 people haven’t entered the match during the 30second period I would rather have the game exit out and re-enter queue for everyone.

Wait until you get stuck with a Rsnk1 that just join without knowing what they are getting into. Sometimes its worst than an AFK player cuz they give free points and die rallying the enemy =]

Can only do so much with a small player base. PvP community seems to be shrinking atm or maybe summer is just over.
