30/0/10/0/30 d/d staff knights amulet

• Open up with dagger-5, staff-5 or DS-3
• Dagger-3, Well of suffering, Dagger-1 auto (position behind them to avoid less dmg)
• Dagger-2 if they break away
• Dagger-4 if they put condition on you, or Staff-4
• Corrupt boon if they stack boons
• Chase them down with DS-2 or spectral walk and repeat

Have your group mark high value target, Lich-1 form and nuke. Lich-5 to aoe strip boons if needed. 2-4 solid hits will likely down most players. It does 2-5k a hit. Lich-3 to prevent res/stomps. If you are being focus, don’t stay in lich exit out to heal/DS. Heal or be near to full HP before going in to Lich form or else it won’t be worthwhile, but situational.

If you are being focus, Switch to DS run while casting DS-3/4. If an enemy is ahead of you, DS-2 to jump there. If you run out of life force drop staff2-5 wells behind you while running or Dagger-3 and spectral walk. This is about the only way to disengage.

Dagger-1 and spectral walk will provide so much lifeforce allowing you to DS a lot.
30/15/10/0/15 does more damage, but stability is crucial in tPVP. Lets you DS stomp and allow you to DS-4 without being interrupted for massive aoe dmg.

Do more PVP? I’ve gotten several of each armor class salvaged. Would be nice if the other pieces drop randomly instead of only the gauntlets.

Every map change I will hear someone complain they hate it.

You can make gold by selling dyes you get from chest or craft, but as a PVPer you have little need or much gold. Nothing there cost any gold anyway.

If you want more character slots the income form dyes should be sufficient.

Imagine multiple mini asura mesmers using decoy in a group fight. Annoying to retarget them afterwards even if i know which one it is since i likely miss click on their overlaping illusion.

But keeping target after stealth would be a serious blow to mesmers ability to survive.

Having a target stick after stealth would be a serious blow to thieves and mesmer’s survivability.

I play caltrop condi thief and the worst thing is to miss aC&D or Blind to dodges since is it large part of your initiative. Miss again and likely toast.

I also play power necro and 2-3 hit in Lich form would basically down a thief since they are likely glassy. If target was sticky after stealth I would kill them so much faster by just spamming 1 key since target isn’t dropped.

I’ve had this happen several times in tournaments, but its rare.

We just need a leaderboard of teams instead of individual players.

Out of all the online games I’ve played the behavior exhibited in your screenshot isn’t that all uncommon.

I would assume the PvP population in the past was composed of people who actually want to do it and tend to behave better. However, now that solo-q and PVE daily rewards are given more casual non pvp people are being introduced into the population.

I got some fused gear from PVP tournament chests.

It has been over a month since the patches of 3/26/13 made it so I cannot play GW2. I have seen no improvement since that date. I am very very disappointed that nothing has been done to fix the problem. All my drivers are current, I have no computer problems and can play other games with no problem. I paid $59.99 for GW2. Your problem looks rather isolated. If you don’t want to troubleshoot software problems then clean reformat and re-install OS/drivers/game.

Having a rank requirement to enter tPVP is a bad idea. Anet wants to expand the PvP population not setup barriers to restrict new players from trying out things.

There needs to be some penalty for people that quits/afk during tournaments, but need to keep in mind of people who naturally have connection issues and actually trying to play.

Solo Queue .

Find a minimum wage paying job. Work for 1 hour. Buy gems for character expansion slot.

If all you do is PVP, you don’t really need much gems. Selling dyes alone I am able to buy multiple character slots so far. That or go run the SAB for skins they sell handsomely.

Time is money. You can grind it out or spend a few well bucks on Anet.

I’ve had several 500-500 tied matches, and it ended up as a loss for my team. Not sure how it works, maybe the pts is rounded or something and my team was a microsecond behind.

It might be possible with some HD recovery service/software, but the time/cost of those will probably make you cringe and forget about those lost screenshots.

Best just ignore the leaderboards if that is preventing you from enjoying/playing the game

Alternatively, Anet could make the leaderboard more meaningful. Like instead of individual leaderboard have a leaderboard of registered PvP Teams. Sorta like how Arena system worked in World of Warcraft.

That means a player can be in multiple PvP Teams and the leaderboards will reflect actual team ability which I think is a better metric than solo rating.

I don’t care of rank or reward chests. I’ve been playing for fun all along. All that is just bonus to keep me entertained while waiting for the match queue to pop.

Have both. Swap out depending on the group makeup before match starts.

2. Queue Pops, but clicking “Go Now” doesn’t work because there is a update build

4. Finally update and enter into a match of 1v4

Roster should auto disband for prevent people from signing up if an update/patch is rolling out.

Well necros these days starts to be dangerous. Until now they was just freekills what annoy you with fear while you finish them. But last week I met some wierd confusion/bleeding necro what melt my p/t/v bunker in 3s. I dueled with him about 5 times with same results.

Likely solo Q will lower your rating, but I still do it often. I still want to play the game and enjoy it even when I don’t have a team.

there are a lot more people playing tourney now and queue pop much faster; often instantly.

you will still get odd matchups but I think that’s due to player population of different ranks and time you queue.

Just play and have fun in sPVP or tPVP matches while trying to win. Its not that hard to complete the daily.

GW2 works fine for me and many others since patch.

• delete you local.dat
• clean reinstall
• try a different machine on the same network
• try guesting/moving to another server.
• try gaming vpn services like Battleping or WTFast to work around a bad network node.

I started out with 30/20/20 AH bunker build, but soon realized in tPVP you aren’t always with your whole party to fully utilize it. Often I will be holding the point by myself or one other while the rest of the team roam and/or recap other points.

Later migrated to 20/30/20 and it has worked very well especially with PoV countering condition spec builds.

Most thieves i see in tPVP are D/D or D/P with some P/D. Few are P/P or S/x, i see these more in hotjoin.

The downside to this are players just going into tPVP matches and AFK dead on the floor just to get the end game credit. Saw this several times yesterday.

Computers are not static machines, they can change and deteriorate over time. This is the case for both hardware and software.

Its entirely possible the patch could be causing performance issue, but if it is not wide a spread issue, but more isolated then its likely something with the user’s system.

Recommend a -repair or fresh install of the game. If that doesn’t work a fresh install of the Operating System. Further more, if that doesn’t work its time to look at hardware issues/temp. (See Part 1.1 or 5.1)
