Your teammates should be visible at all times on the minimap, this allows for better communication and actually gives the minimap the feature it should have had all along: an overview of the whole situation.

I do the same whenever I have a big project to do. I procrastinate and do the little misc things instead to give myself the impression im working =]

You can add those bad mesmers to your friends list and wait until they are in a match to queue up again. If after the match you immediately re-queue chances are they did the same and will be paired with you again.

Pseudorandom number generator function probably needs a little oil to lube it up again.

copper, silver, & gold chest each have different drop rate for different sets of gear for their respected ranks.

If you just want to salvage stuff for dust/mats then copper chest is as good as gold.

Think its by design, not a bug.

I like random maps, but wish they hurry up and give us build templates. I use different builds for different maps.

I must have horrible luck.

First few matches were

• 5v5 (with r5-10s),
• 2v5,
• 3v5
• finally two match that were proper 5v5,
• back to 4v5 (one afk).

Map loading after respawn is much longer during a match. Before it was basically instant for me.

3470k 4.3OC, SSD and Geforce gtx660. Not bleeding edge but still fairly new. Something is fishy here and “Get a better computer” I doubt is the holy solution.

Sucks even more with slow loading screen in between re-spawns during a tournament.

This is all fine any dandy but stealth should not last longer then 3 seconds. No matter how many times you combo through the dark field. Anything longer then 3 seconds is a free get out of jail card. This is OP to the max. Dark field on top of 15 sec stealth on top of healing on 60 sec cd? wow, just wow. If you dont think there is something wrong here im sorry but your just a thief in denial. This isnt an L2p play issue, I could give a kitten about other theif skills, they last a mere few seconds JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER CLASSES INVIS SKILLS. Ranger stealth doesnt even really count, the only way ranger stealths is freaking LB(rofl only if it hits) and getting stunned with a master trait. each lasts less then 3 seconds. But yeah SR is gay, prob as gay if not gayer then duelist pistol. There is something wrong when every thief is running this skill.

That’s how SR works and has so for a long time. Its something needed as a thieves are squishi.

It is not a total free get out of jail card. If a thief is using SR to dis-engage or low on HP the becomes a free kill if you

1. knock them out.
2. AOE cleave the area or even auto attack around will still hit.

L2Position yourself. IF the thief is low a few hits will down him. If he leave its prematurely you will see him and suffer revealed buff and cant go back in stealth. So what are you going to do instead? Stand there for the full SR duration, let them regen and wait for the backstab anyways?

No, go in, thief dodges into you since nothing can be more telegraphed than walking into a shadow refuge swinging your weapon

Either way I eat a backstab but if I don’t walk in it he has to waste a utility to get it to close distance.

And your whole little scenario is meaningless considering good thieves use sr to reset not as a desperate escape measure. They don’t wait till they’re 2-3 autoattacks away from death to pop it.

They have to remain in the SR. Doesn’t matter if they try to dodge. You are applying pressure and making them waste more endurance. If you don’t think you can survive then you have at most 4second time create distance making it harder for the thief.

Your mentality of “either way you will get backstab”. You have just given them a free kill.

What is bugged about shadow refudge?

It is suppose to give 3s of stealth per pulse. You can counter it by knocking them out of the field which reveals them or aoe/auto attack in the area. If you don’t want to then just run the other direction. However, it is difficult for new players to learn how to handle stealths.

Would be nice to be able to sort by armor piece type.

Better yet if we can just click an arrow in the preview windows to cycle armor

They should allow people to loot dead players for their armor skin and make it their own. =]

Hope the new solo-queue system won’t increase team queue too much. I play both and currently it still takes a while for a match.

I don’t even cap points when playing sPVP or care about the scoring system. Its a place where i can goof around, kill random people and test builds

Don’t think you can get away from zerging. Its the basic logic to survive-ability ingrained in WvW. Even in tPVP matchs you will see zerging on a small scale.

Maybe not include player kills into the score, and only node cap time and award player-kill glory only to the winning team.

Not much you can do if someone charges over from the other side and pops all their burst at the last second hoping to get the last hit. You could try to cc them, but they may still get lucky and get the last hit. I don’t think those points should be based off of luck or cheap tactics personally.

Its not a cheap tactics. L2P Issue as others above have mentioned.

When I said headcount/position, you and your team need to know where the enemy are at or risk it being stolen. (Example: you see 5 enemy fighting on one point far away.) Don’t engage boss if you know they are near or people unaccounted for.

Lags just a players fault for running at high settings on a comp that can’t handle it

Running i5-3570k 4.4OC with GTX660 OC @ high settings. During close node fights with nade explosions my fps drops to 25-30fps while normally in other scenarios it would be getting 60+.

Can’t imagine those poor souls running on lesser machines. There is just no in-game setting or option to tone down particle effects.

Not entirely user or player fault. If the best consumer machine out there can’t handle WvW at steady 60fps, I would think its also something to do with the devs.
