You call it manipulation. But how about super great sword skin. Many people bought it in hope the price will rise. But it didn’t, you want to call that manipulation too?

In the real world, almost anyone who have more money than they need invest weather it is by interest rate, real estate, stock etc. That is how the real world function. That is what people do.

And in the real world there is people buying parada, just like you trying to buy a skin. Eventhough you can buy a regular bag with same function.

and what’s so fun about killing a boss like golem mark which you do die but have a 100% win ratio.

I rather just auto attack and go watch tv like I used to.

Or what’s so fun about doing tequatl with 100% fail ratio because you have to be in an organized group to succeed. And dont’ tell me blackgate, because apparently people who spend all day afking on the map have become an organized group.

And killing tequatl in an organized group is like saying the boss should be instanced. Because apparently that is the way to kill Tequatl now. Find empty map or overflow so your organized group can kick out the weak.

I remember people actually counting the people for tequatl and it seemed the number is around 100. But for some reason I think I see far more people during the scarlet invasion.

But maybe I’m seeing things and bad at estimate.

But Anet pretty much blatently says they won’t do a thing for people getting kick in dungeon. Unless the kicking involves typing something insulting in party chat.

I think party kicking is just too hard to control and regulate. And apparently some people dont’ think dungeon selling should be part of the game. So this kind of things happened.

You can try soloing some of the dungeon. And with various class.

I remember the invasion and there are much more than 150-250.

Most people are probably doing shadow behemoth, that’s why you got the cap.

well, you know there are 2 people in the group that don’t like you at least. If those people dont’ know each other and still kick you, they dotn’ like you very much.

^ you can just dodge back when the boss do his big attack. You didn’t rez the guy who got cleaved to death right? Because you arn’t there. I’m actually not even sure if his attack hit everyone.

I dont’ necessary agree or disagree with stacking. Some times I do felt it is silly to stack since boss cleave. But if you imagine everyone not abiding to the stack, the boss will just knock people around and move all over the place.

At least other people have a purpose so they can fight equally in wvw and maxed for dungeon.

How are they not screwing people over. Moving away from the spider queen cause her to shoot poison aoe. And it’ll cause othe people to die.

Unfortuantely the default agreement for AC run is everyone stack. That is especially true for speedrun.(which someone find it funny, but that’s the truth).

Nah. If you mess about and bring the group down then you get kicked. If you do something different and it works out good then the group should let it pass. Some people actually learn the fights by experimenting a bit rather than just walking through the game.

If everyone is stacking and you purposely went out of the way just so 4 other people would die it is called griefing. Maybe the other 4 people dont like being griefed.

If the lvl35 meet my lvl80 in wvw, he can probably beat me 1vs1. So don’t laugh.

But that don’t mean a lvl35 will beat a lvl80 with equal skill level.

You should be able to get 75 level of experience just doing raw material refine, ascended material and lvl80 blue green and rare.

I like playing support myself. So I some times traited support. But you need to check what you sacrifice.

You actually do heal alot more if you traited support for some class. But you need to sacrifice like 20-25% damage.

But if you wear cleric gear, it’ll get your crit chance and crit damage to like 13% and 0%. And you only get like 50% more healing.

And wearing knight gear is like saying I’m a bad dungeon player since I don’t support my group better and I need the toughness to survive.

Everyone already know selling is allowed.

But the problem is it is so obvious kicking is allowed too.

It just take Anet too much human resource to deal with this kind of issue. I doubt Anet will want to get involve.

Everyone just played the way they want to right? That is why I felt GW2 dungeon community is horrible.

Probably champ farming get you more gold.

It is probably better to salvage exotic weapon which have stats that can’t be crafted, so you have a chance to get the inscription.

I can usually get same amount of gold as champ farm if I do pug dungeon runs and specify the group to be speedrun. But the problem is there are usually downtime when waiting for group to be formed or waiting for people to get to the dungeon.

I think a single ascended item cost about 50-60 gold if my memory is right. I dont’ think it is that bad unless you want to be flexible and have a bunch of set.

Even that, you dont’ have to get every single equipment set. For the equipment set you don’t use as often, just keep it exotic.

I think they need more collectable book.

If the skins and town cloth become a collection, people’ll be more interest in them and some will try to collect everything and boost sells.

Now if you don’t want to do that. You should kick yourself from the party, because most likely the other 4 people want to stack, since stacking become the norm nowadays. just make your own group and say no stacking allowed.

So you do realize consumed item do get depleted right? And stop calling it market manipulation. It is more like investing. Since everyone is doing it. Buy items which they think price is going to rise. That is like saying people buying stock in real life is evil.

I doubt many people are even buying the skin after they rise over the 50-60 mark for investing. It really just get delepted by people like you who want the skin but didn’t get it when the price is just 1 ticket.

Quite honestly if it is too expensive. Just find alternative skin or wait for new skin which will be better looking anyway.

I don’t know the answer but I don’t pvp at all in this game. Since it felt like pvp and pve is a completely different game.

If it is a completely different game, I might as well play a completely different pvp game.

The thing I like about mmorpg is it is a bunch of mini games which have an affect at each other. Which is why I actually pvp in other games since I get reward which I can use in pve but I don’t do it in this game.

I might as well just go play league of legend.

And you won’t get 7 ticket from 100 chest. It is more like 300 I think. Need some data to know the exact amount. If you can get 1 ticket from 14-15 chest, I’ll be farming black lion keys with lvl6 alt instead of farming champs in FGS.

Just like the RNG dye pack, most of the skins are probably made by clueless people who don’t know the rate, or people who happened to have a bunch of keys, or maybe gold seller who want to farm fast cash but don’t have a lvl80 account.

That being said, before it go up, there need some way to deplete the dragon coffer. Which will take a long time.

Button line is it’ll be pretty hard for it to go up too much. Because everyone who is a collector probably already get the minis they want.

If people arn’t buying the minis for 1 gold from the trading post, they arn’t paying 5 gold worth of a gem to buy from the gem store. I dont’ think being discontinued will affect it that much.

I said the exact same thing on another post. I remember saying you can always dodge but you can’t always expect your groupmate to be able to dodge.

I’m just explaining why in some group it is so easy some it isn’t. Some group just kill it fast enough or have healers to keep people up.

For example if I play rogue, if my pug is bad, I’ll have to solo spider queen (that is even if I can do it) while I watch my other groupmates on the ground. If I play guardian, I just heal through it and keep everyone up.

It is easier with some class. I’m not sure how much more dps elemntist do but that firesword trick really do make it easier right?

To me there is only 2 challenge for dungeon.

1 is to complete the dungeon. The 2nd is to do it as fast as possible.

I don’t understand why people can’t do dungeon as fast as possible. That is the only challenge left after you complete it.

My guess is, it is legal. but not supported, so any problem you have going on grey market, Anet dont’ want to be responsible or waste human resource to help you.

Nothing stops you from selling item to your guildmates to save taxes. I don’t see how it is illegal. But Anet probably dont’ waste real money taking of people getting scamed.

It’s probably faster to farm 150-200 gold compare to farm a single black lion ticket. So please be more appreciate for those other player who do the work for you.

The best way to play the game is actaully to use every single kind of weapon.

So maybe the real complain is why certain class “engineer and elemental” is so much easier than warrior/guardian to reach maximum capability.

all I can say is wait for armor. If you can’t craft 2 ascended gear. Wait for armor.

People always rush for the items they want for example recipe, so that’s what hold the sprocket price for a while.

People say this kind of things all the time. Maybe you should submit a resume and see if you can do any better.

I don’t even know why the dyes are so cheap. The drop rate of those rare dyes is very low.

I blew all my saving buying the dye pack and it was a terrible idea. I won’t buy the dye pack again even if every rare dye is worth more than 70 gold.

That is how low the drop rate is. It puzzled my mind why anyone would buy the dye pack when they can get it directly through the trading post.

If you don’t want to buy the dye pack. Don’t do it. Maybe in a year or two they’ll come back to the gem store and you can get it for cheap again.

The spider queen still do considerable amount of damage even without casting her aoe.

So if your group just stack and auoattack, they either have to have enough dps to kill fast enough or have enough healing to keep everyone up.

I just always run guardian when running AC. Since even if my group have poor dps, I can still heal enough to keep people up.

I dont’ know. But how do you get max buffed with a group of guardian.

And the thing about warrior that hit me is…. they have so much hp.

Not to mention I’m not sure on the accuracy of people’s data.

I remember people comparing max dps for warrior. And you see their video and there are many things wrong. For starter, you see people casting debuff. But if you want to do max damage on axe, you should just auto attack.

There are just too many things to consider in a group scenario, you need to include might, fury, vulnerability. etc. I’ll be surprise if someone can actually have acurate test on it.

People need to stop making a big deal out of everything.

I would care if someone purposely just run around hunting champ for no reason. Apparently I never see it happen. Even so, the group need to be large enough so they actually kill the champ fast enough before the zerg get there.

Don’t give Anet ideas. Instead of making it easier to get other material, they’ll probalby make champ drop only 1 bloodstone brick.

Just remember what they did to karma. Instead of buffing reward for fotm, they just nerfed karma everywhere else so it is more rewarding to do fotm.

Give more reason to kick people with low achievement in a pug.

People are just farming. If people dont’ mind clicking 1 all day champ farming. They probably don’t mind stacking in a corner auto attacking the boss.

It’s like the new TA, sure it is interesting. But I doubt the farmers will go back again. They rather do the easier dungeon which give guaranteed reward.
