In other mmorpg, you have to take damage since many of them you can’t even avoid.

well, my theory is if people can make 100+ gold per day from cof, they definately can make that in queen’s gauntlet. You are talking about people who play, eat, sleep. It’s possible.

I think that’ll be a great idea. And probably make those skin into collectible too.

That way people can buy once and enjoy it anytime. Not only that, people like to collect things. So that’ll help Anet on cash shop sales too.

Take a few minutes and kill monster down stair, that is enough for paying many death.

I spend like 35 gold and bought some recipe at the start of the event.

And I kick myself when the price drop to like 8 silver for most of the recipe.

I suppose they come backup again. Really mix feeling.

I’m glad it went backup, but kick myself for not buying it when all the recipe flunk to an all time low.

Quartz, Zaitaffy etc are not exactly great investments however. They take too much space for minimal profit. So, if you ever find yourself with a bunch of money to invest, buy skins instead. A stack of Quartz would have given you about 1g profit by now. A stack of Dessert Roses on the other hand would have given you 875g profit (if you had 750g to buy one, that is)

Ya I have 23 character slot and a 250 space personal guild bank. I’m actaully using some of my lvl80 character just to store item. Those low price item surely take alot of bank space.

At this pace I’ll run out of bank space soon.

ya but the price of zhaitaffy is actually increasing. And the guy is talking about long term (1 year investment).

I honestly don’t know how many people need celestial gear, even then, they really would just craft 1 set, and use at most 25 crystal per day.

But everyone eat food, and for long term investment, food will surely dry up. Price of zaitaffy and food actually rose in the last 20 days.

And price of food is actually more tied to dragon coffer than zaitaffy. That’s why supply of zaitaffy dont’ dry up but keep increasing in price because dragon coffer increase in price.

Instead of waiting 5 minutes in a crowded dome, take those 5 minutes to farm some gold. That’ll pay for a bunch of repair bill.

5 minutes can make you 1.50 gold from gauntlet farming. Enough money for 56 death.

5 minutes can make you 58 silver from pavillion or frost gauge sound. Enough money for 21 death.

5 minutes can make you 83 silver from ember farming. Enough for 31 death.

Or just go to orr or frostgauge, and kill “any” monster. In 5 minutes you make enough money for 6+ death.

Why not just do a easy cof run which takes like 10-15 minutes and you can make 1.6+ gold which is enough to pay for 60 death.

The truth? You guys are too stingy. It’s only 1.11 silver for wp and 1.56 for repair bill. Don’t tell me you would rather wait in a long gauntlet queue just to save 2.67 silver.

I tried to mystic forge it, apparently you can’t. The only thing it can do is make charged crystal.

The draconic armor and pearl weapon you make look exactly like the other draconic and pearl weapon from tier6 material. So I’m confused what you trying to say.

My question is should I actually hold item for a year?

lets say I bought 30,000 quartz crytal at 40 copper each. Should I just dump everything at 65 copper and take my 20-40% profit and leave?

Since I have like 200 stack of dragon coffer, 70 stack of dragon food, 40 stack of zaittaffy, 25 stack of molten core, and many stack of other thing. I keep waiting for them to go up.

The truth is if I just sell everything when they go up 30-50%, and buyout another and redo the process, I probably make much more money. Instead of waiting for month/year for them to go up.

I think taking those 30-50% profit and dump to move on to the next thing is probably the better way to do it?

why not just invest in dragon event food? It cost about the same, take about the same bank space. And it is hard to determine if the demand of quartz will be there.

The demand of food will always be there, and the dragon event food is a bargain so everyone will surely use it.

On top of that, you can still mine quartz in your home instance. So if it go up, people can just mine in their own instance, or people will mine more to sell.

I have the dilemma too.

The truth is I died like 50 times on liadri too, and everytime I died, I just WP even if people are healing me.

I dont’ understand the concept of wasting other people’s time so I can save time.

This morning, someone was complaining about me not rezing, so I message him if he care that much about those 40 second WP run, I care about those 1 minute waiting for him in queue too.

In the end, I felt bad, so I end up rezing him and another person everytime they die. But the truth is if the game is design better this won’t ever happen.

Why should people be punished for helping other people? I don’t get it about the game design.

Ya but how many items really rise in price. I aint seeing much.

Maybe there isn’t even that many farmer.

At any given time there is only 6 arena per server(with a few more overflow).

You would imagine everyone is farming deadeye. But the truth is they arn’t. There are times I can pretty much take 1 of the 6 arena because no one is farming them.

And it is pretty obvious people can make 1k+ gold from deadeye. They already could in 10 days cof before the DR change.

If there are more farmers, the influx of gold is capped by queue anyway. So overall it probably wont’ affect the economy that much. It just make a few “addicted farmers” very rich.

And most important of all, the event is over in 20 days. So if the event harm the economy in anyway, I’m sure it’ll settle down soon.

Is it even rewarding to farm in queensdale? I don’t get why people farm there when they can farm frostgauge or cursed shore.

Was enjoying some 2vs2 gauntlet. Maybe we’ll see 3vs3 or 5vs5 queueing in the future.

All the group in cof get filled in 0-2 minutes, so you need to actively refresh the list in gwlfg to try to get in.

Real life constraints are acceptable to people with lives.

What if somebody gets a phone call on their emergency line? What if they have to answer the door? What if their game crashes due to an error in anets programming, or another popular vendor? Severe impatience is a personal shortcoming.

I get those 1-2 min short break because of something come up, washroom, water etc.

But the reality is most dungeon in this game take like 15 minutes to complete. If you are actually considerate, you’ll just leave the group and tell them to find a replacement if you need to take long break.

And let’s what I always do, if I have to take anything longer than 3 minutes break, I’ll just tell my group to find a replacement.

I die in 2 second with zerker gear.

In full toughness, I’ll gain 30% mitigation and die in 2.6 second.

I actually bother to time it, it take 40 second 1 silver and 11 copper to move back.

I don’t know why everyone think everyone else need to rez you, especially it means just to make their queue longer.

Beside the point you said there is a long queue. So you have to wait those 40 second anyway. So if you meant to tell me you want to save 1 silver 11 copper…

I dont’ get all the rezing part. You want to save 1 minutes of your life by wasting 1 minute of other people’s life. If they don’t rez you they can queue faster. Not to mention all their fight is really fast and normal fight much longer. So they are the one that need to be patient by people doing normal fight.

And I dont’ get the warrior part. Warrior is probably one of the worst class to farm it. Long cool down and you have to wait 10 second for deadeye to teleport to you, and if you didn’t kill it in time you are dead.

I can kill it on my thief but only after 1 teleport. Beside guardian, my guess would be mesmer? That is the only class I think have not only block but have reflect projectile.

5 second means he can’t even teleport. I’m really curious what class can kill that fast.

For me I think it’s progression.

The dungeon run is suppose to be better the more you do it.

After you learn all the trick and master the dungeon, you are suppose to do it better.

But in reality you don’t. After hundred or thousand of dungeon run, it don’t get better, just because I’m grouped with inexperienced people.

Obviously orrian tuffle is in demand now. It is popular for the last boss in queens’ gauntlet.

Since you keep mentioning vendor price. But it is at 50% above vendor price for buy order, and twice the vendor price for sell order.

what food are you talking about. Maybe it use the same item as the arena food.

I also notice the trend of really rich people buy out the entire supply. Some of them success, like the atherized recipe. Some fail like the representation token.

Many item are unstable right now. People keep buying them out at high price, I don’t know why. Maybe people are anticipating new patch.

quite honestly, I failed much more AC than COE. Not sure why people rate COE so high. Only thing remotely hard is count to 2 before you dodge.

Ironically, AC pug group even have higher chance to get disband compare to Arah.

I’m 450/500 with fractal frequenter. I rarely even do fractal. have the other 13 achievement, I dont’ even know how, since i never even tried to complete it. So it’s probably not really hard.

The only time I do fractal is I want ring/box/back for my alt, and I ran it on a few alt. I think that’s how I get fractal frequenter so fast, eventhough I rarely ran it everyday.

My main is a lvl80 charr warrior.

After playing human and seeing how human can look good in “anything”, I demand a race change license.

Seriously human can look better in lvl5 armor compare to charr in any level80 armor.

If you can buy them at vendor price that’s fine. The problem is they are somewhat 65-70 copper. It may not seem alot, but if you vendor them you loss like 30% of your money. So there is risk.

I invtested like 3k of it. Some were bought when they are 50 copper.

Other people told me farming deadeye dunwell is an exploit and I should stop and Anet nerfing subject 7 clearly shows it.

In 1 hour farming with 3 gambit and dieing 6 times, I made 18.76 gold, without counting lodestone. Other better player can make 30 gold an hour with 5 gambit.

Can we get an official reply? I dont’ want to get banned.
