did you pull the 2 mobs near the right turret at the beginning? Put a feed back after that on the 2 mob. And cast focus 5 after that for projectile reflection?
did you push slave driver against the wall so the warrior can whirld wind against the wall?
did you cast signet of inspiration when the door opens at the beginning?
did you cast signet of inspiration after the rolling fireball so everyone have max might stack?
did you remember to switch out skill for feedback at the end boss and cast it at the right time?
I dont’ understand the logic. If I’m farming. I definately going explorer. It have more power and precision. Why would I want to kill slower if I’m farming.
Critical damage don’t help without the power and precision.
I just dont’ see any glass canon wearing it. It’s mainly for balance build, or power/condition hybrid.
Actually, elementalist’s arcane skills are all auto-crit and one even lets you auto-crit on regular skills too. I don’t know as much about other prof. but ele for sure can use this gear decently for basic tasks.
I originally wanted celestial to use as a stage between valk and berserker for wvw but now I think i’ll just use it to replace my masterwork magic find set and skin it for fun. After all, its basically free gear you can farm up mats for on a lowbie alt doing dailies.
I did say in my other post hybrid class elemntal/guardian probably the best suitable for celestial, and power/condition hybrid.
My main point is those 3% critical damage going to do nothing. If you want dps you obviously go power/precision.
You only use celestial because you are build for balance. You don’t use it to loss a bunch of power and precision which is far more important than those 3% critical damage.
Does it take long to get those HoM or whatever thing that is? I’m thinking about getting GW1 just for the achivement and maybe the ranger pet which you need GW1 to get.
But not sure how long it’ll take me to get it from GW1.
I did some test on veteran spider in timberline fall.
Basically I test it 6 times. 3 times with eviscerate and 3 times without. I didn’t weapon swap.
The result is everytime I did it, it always take roughly 17 second on all 6 try.
So with my limited testing , I believe you don’t need to eviscerate unless you do it after a dodge roll or do it for last hit. Else you can just keep auto attacking.
Even if there is a difference I don’t believe the difference is large.

Admitally, I tend to read between the line. But I think most people do. No one have time to read essay on forum. That’s why I try to keep my post short and condense.
I’ll try to explain. Warren buffet says he can “guarantee” 50% annual investment return if he “only” have 1 million dollar. But the reality is he only have 20% yearly return for his company.
It is easy to get 15-25% return if you only have small capital. But if you meant to tell me you still get 15-25% return with 10,000+ capital, it is highly unlikely.
Finding 20-30 items with 15% return is possible. But finding like 1000 item with that kind of return isn’t easy. There isn’t even that many items.
I hope everybody realizes that Dragon Bash is an annual festival and will be returning next year……..
Well, judging from everything the developer says in the past, want to keep item prestige, limited edition etc etc. I doubt the skin will come back. The event might come back with new reward.
But judging from the crazy amount of new skins the developer push out each month. The skins become very dilluted. So the rest is hard to speculate. The SAB skin is a good example, hard to rise in prise when they release molten, scerlite, jade, and soon the achievement point skin.
The jetpack is another example. Soon after the TP is spamed with holographic dragon wings followed by new back item on the event next week.
And Hallowean is coming up. We can see if Anet bring back old skins.
The reality is make your own judgement. Many of the information people spread just so they can flip or buy items easier. Kind of like the stock market in the real world.
I just went to the Taiwaness GW2 gaming site. And apparently there are 20+ different people complaining about the same dc and logon problem between July 1st to July 3rd.
It seemed to only occur after July 1st, since I checked every post in June and there are no problem with connection.
when did people start having this problem? I can’t really remember but I’m having problem starting a few days ago. I’m not sure if it’s the same a week and a half like the other guy.
For some reason the GW2 support page don’t display for me. Not sure if it’s because I’m playing in an asia region.

ya actually I bought it today with my buy order fulfilled in 5 minutes on the monocle. And the recipe in 5 minutes too. I get it you are trying to flip, so good luck. I have 2 monocle and 5 recipe, I hope it go up too.
I didn’t play during flame and frost and miss out on the dye and sentinel armor. Deeply regret it.
And one last thing about the monocle and infinite tonic recipe.
I personally put up a buy order for 3 monocle, one of each armor type, and a few tonic recipe. “It is filled FAST”. I understand there is a low supply on the auction house. But anytime you try to invest on something, and the buy order fill fast, it is not a good sign. Out of the 3 monocle, one on each type, I get the heavy and light really fast. I canceled the medium.
Prices of monocles have rised too fast and when it happens, all people who have invest, try to sell their items before price drops. Therefore, when they can´t sell fast, they sell to the buy offers and finally price drops.
Well, only 8 more days to go for the monocle. Which is much better than the holographic wings which have a whole month.

The monocle is very hard to speculate. It does have some what low supply. In addition it is divided in to 3 category, heavy, light, medium. So there is less undercutting. But cosmetically, it isn’t astonishing looking. So I’m not sure if people will spend that much on a skin that don’t look that good.
And the tonic I dont’ expect it to go up much. Just look at the tonic in the past. Beside the hallowean tonic, which because of bug to account bound have very few supply. Most tonic didn’t go up in price. In fact all go down. Very few people care about tonic. If it is, “someone” will probably put a higher buy option than 100 gold on the infinite tonic. Just look at the price of molten factory recipe. More importantly anyone who care about the tonic probably already bought the recipe.
I personally bought 2 monocles. I do think it’s ok to buy a few recipe or atherized tonic because they are so cheap. So don’t hurt to invest a few on it.
The holographic wing investment is a terrible idea. I bought like 12 at 9 gold. I already knew it was a bad idea, seeing how large the volumn is. But being stupid makes me pay.

In other games, content are usually heavily gated by gear check and grind. And usually those raid take several month to finish.
In this game, by the time you get to 80, and get full exotic the next day, and finish all the dungeon in a day or 2, you scratch your head thinking … wow I finish all the PvE content in this game.
I’m pretty sure most players don’t finish all 33 dungeon paths in 2 days, plus all the fractals and world completion.
And of course, some people actually do like the living story.
And then for some people, their end game is chasing achievements. You may not like it, but it doesn’t make it less valid an end game for someone else.
I finished my personal story on 7 character, map completion on 2, and 98% map completion on another 5 character. Did 32 dungeon path.
I think most people just didn’t do those map completion and dungeon because they don’t care. You don’t get anything for doing map completion or dungeon. Doing a dungeon won’t unlock another dungeon for you.
It’s the concept of fighting big dragon to get a sword to fight a bigger dragon. That’s what happening in other game, and not in this game. The sense of progression.
I’m not agreeing or disagreeing. That’s what generally people felt. Fill free to goto any mmorpg website and that’s what people will tell you. GW2 have a lack of endgame, very casual game, if you are looking for a mmorpg to play like a second job dont’ play it. Else it’s pretty good for people who have a lack of time.

Wow, only vague tips and advices. I just want to be able to gain something with craft, could someone help me please? Are you guys afraid that i will stole part of your profit in this thing?
There is no such thing as “craft this thing and you will always make money”.
Take for example item A make a profit of 30 silver. I tell you to make item A, you can quickly be undercut by a person mass produce the same item.
You really have to watch the market yourself, since it change often.
And asking people on forum what to craft don’t help. I’ve seen it before, people post on what item to craft or mystic forge. And within an hour everyone saw the post craft it, undercut each other and therre is no profit.
I believe from the developer video. The dev says the moa racing will be permanent content. But the helmed mini moa will only be available during dragon bash. After dragon bash is over you get a different mini instead of the helmed moa.
Do the kill quest and jumping puzzle. Only 12 of the 19 achievement is needed for reward so I dont’ think you need to do the dungeon.
And actually the dungeon might be soloable. You just have to be super good.
You don’t need to worry about missing out since there really isn’t much reward for it. Only good reward is the monocle which have a low drop chance. It might be faster if you just farm gold and buy it from TP if you want it that much.
If you don’t like to group, don’t. But let the other people enjoy doing group dungeon. The reward is really mediocre. Unless you are in a super elite speed run group, I’d say you make much more gold farming solo.
The last boss is pretty easy for me. It’s all in the gear.
I’m guardian, berserker armor with soldier rune, knight jewel, defense trait. Berserker range weapon and soldier staff during the cannon phase.
Using shout build, I just easily remove the condition. I didn’t die the whole fight and spend all my time rezing my teamate who keep dieing. When I’m in trouble I just switch to soldier staff.
Can’t kill a guardian with high toughness.
The middle boss, all I can say is use berserker range and try to kill the golem fast. The faster you kill the less chance you’ll die.
I bought like 10 of the wings, and I’m wondering if it is a big mistake.
The reason is everytime I put up a buy order, I got the item within 1 minutes. If you think about it that’s like 1440 wings being sold in a day. Cross finger and hope everything go well.
If you have 10 characters you could always put one on each.
how would you guess. That’s what I’m thinking. I got 9 lvl80 and making another guardian.
So in any cases, my investment flunk, I’ll take the loss and just equip all my character with wings.
There is nothing to use gold for anyway. Beside playing auction house tycoon. That is if you are not in to legendary, and I’m not into legendary.
