Wall Of Reflection

Hi guys,

a newbie guardian question about the positioning of the Wall of Reflection.

Lets say I have the boss in front of me and some other mob behind me, if WoR is between me and boss, the projectile from boss will not hit me but the ones behind mobs will hit.

Is this assumption correct or everything will be reflected and nothing will hit the group.

Or if I place the wall of reflection on the group how much we can stay in front or behind it so it will reliably protect the group.

Drake Breath’s 3s burn was there from the start of the game, until Cele Meta popped up I never heard one single person complained about it.

Eles in PvP had never had condition damage on Amulets until now, so yes, that is a logical thing to notice after that happens.. Those Burns they’ve always stacked easily with Drake’s Breath were just glossed over as inconsequential.

Realities change alongside new balance

You again point the root of the problem ‘Eles in PvP had never had condition damage on Amulets’ when that happened, when Cele in PVP is buffed.

Before any stat invested to condition damage, Ele burned like 350 per tick now 500 and 600 if fully 25 stack might buffed.

I ran Cele stat combos in PVE and WvWvW and never heard that anybody complained burn ticks or duration in Drake’s Breath and once Cele stats over-buffed in PVP and in all aspects of the game Drake Breath must be nerfed.

Yeah right.

I completely agree, ANet is just nerfing the symptom instead concentrating to the real problem.

Now wow it is so OP it must nerfed, did you need 2 years to understand it was OP?

I accept that weapon staw was an exploit but it is only nerfed for Ele, it is still there for greatsword Mes (it can cancel the last part of the cast to cas new much sooner than possible ICD) and Warriors can still cancel their critical skills not to lose their Adrenal if they see they are going to miss.

What is ANet solution, nerf Ele version do nothing for others, men can think reasonable solution would be no weapon staw in combat, who the hell in his right mind would staw a weapon in the middle of combat if he is not exploiting something.

d/f berserker relied on burns?

For a burst spec that get any sort of sustained damaged is good for my point of view. Specially if you don’t invest anything it is there and it is %33 nerfed now, while it was OP for D/F Berserker, yeah right.

Drake Breath and its burning time is there like 2 years and it was never a problem until celestial Meta poped-up.

Might the way it is, was there more then 1 year and it was never a problem before the celestial Meta.

Clearly celestial is not the problem so nerf the all the other things that effects the other builds but not the Celestial.

WTF?

If at 25 stack might is too much then take 50 stats from Celestial why nerf the might.

I can’t say anything against for LW the way it was used is an exploit but the exploit is still there for Mesmer Greatsword but not for LW, If you want to take staw weapon away then just say you can’t staw weapon in combat, end of the story.

LW might look like DPS increase when you can use it all the time but with all the CC in the game how much up-time it will get compared to the damage in one single git.

I wish there was a way for us to keep condition management and get to the ‘Rock Solid’ then this matchups would be so much easier but giving up the GM traits from Water and Arcana hurts so much.

Hi guys,

I fought a really good S/D Thief in WvWvW with my D/D Ele and I like to ask some pointers.

He was in Gold Something Rank and he knew what he was doing.

At the beginning he was very aggressive and I was able to bring him to %10 then he started stealthing and kiting me, he dodge my magnetic grasp, after I used my RTL and LF he just open the distance again with the bow and nuke me from the distance with the shortbow.

While I was poisoned and because of the short bow nukes I could not heal to full and next time he steal from me I was out of CDs and he got me down.

Now I was thinking what I did wrong, I have a feeling if a thief just runway that way, I just turn and go away? Or just spam Lighting Whip and dodge 3s after he stealths.

Because I try to put him burning or hit with AOE but he evades everything with S/D number 3.

So any advice what to do differently?

you mean watching thieves spamming 2 is more interesting, yeah right, Ele with Engi most complex class to play in this game, I rather watch them all then a Ranger spamming 1, Hambow spamming burst skill, etc…

I can also live with the fact if the development team accepts that FGS is nothing more then a mobility tool and it should get an according CD instead crazy 180s.

I can accept that CD when it was doing that damage in PVE but now, 180s just to move quickly over the map?

When they made the change that it can hit AOE I assumed that ICD will trigger per target basis.

I made some test in the mist, I have a feeling ICD triggers per activation basis not per target basis.

What I mean, you used Drake’s Breath and hit 3 persons on the same moment, they are all blinded and ICD initiated now if you hit somebody you previously didn’t hit 2s later, blinding ashes will not trigger because ICD is still global and not per target basis.

Can anybody confirm this? Unless they change this to per target basis it will stay as awesome 1vs1 gimmick and useless GM trait.

‘Stone Flesh’ does not increase anymore the armor when we attune to Earth or stay effective with lingering elements.

I can confirm that at least hero panel does not show any difference for Armor when you switch to earth.

Well I know Phanta wants to compete with Scepter builds but is not that good if you are melee tunneled and his only chance to compete is to play Cele D/D and he doesn’t like that.

I can understand that from what I see ANet has to reduce the might stacking ability of the classes who can abuse celestial stats and all of them.

For Ele I would say, it would help alot let say that blast finisher for Churning Earth from the beginning of the cast to the end of the cast.

At the moment no D/D ele cast that for the actual effect of the spell but only for the blast finisher.

So either D/D eles will give up 3 stacks of might or actively use the Churning Earth other then being placeholder.

Nerfing Drake’s Breath I find it overkill, I can barely keep any condition on Hambow Warriors because Cleansing Ire and other condition cleanse classes, so if they don’t do their homework and cleanse, why should we nerf the ability.

Are u using any of the new GM traits in daily PVP or PVE.

I mean Fire is useful for dueling, Air is useful against War/Thief, I guess Earth is usefull in a general sense for bunkering, Water is not usefull for PVP\PVE context If men goes to GM it have to take Cleansing and arcane it is so hard to give up evasive arcana.

So did anybody managed place those talents to daily activities?

I’ll be sad to inform you there aren’t any healers in PvE.

I would so much like to be healer in this game for PVE but first you have to go zerkier as much as possible in this game not pull aggro from the bosses and for staff ele heal to shine somebody has to blast the fields but without voice while pugging nobody does that.

I hate that when I put Cleric gear, only the thing in the dugeons that bosses/mobs hit is me, the light armor guy gets the pounding while he doesn’t have full zerker gear

But who need Ele as healer, surely not WvWvW there only blasting the water fields works, sPVP you can never heal the incoming damage so what is the use and nobody asks for healers in dungeons?

One point I forgot to mention.

I have a feeling Burning Speed Evade don’t triggers during the whole distance traveled but only on the point where blast happens.

Hi,

I was checking the new runs for my 0/10/0/30/30 specially Monk.

They say, they updated the wiki for it.

I like that 6 bonus, %10 more healing for everything can give some of the sustain we loose over the nerfs, but one statement in the Wiki disturbs me.

“Bonus 6 has a radius of 1000, a cooldown of 60 seconds, and affects up to 5 players.”

What is that mean, %10 more healing for once and goes to 60s CD, that can’t be. Is this is a comment for old bonuses?

2nd, I tought in Hero panel, I will still see as percentage my crit damage bonus, what is the conversion now, I have 760 ferocity, how much crit damage is this in the new system as percentage.

3rd, for sPVP, new amulet Cavalier, cost 10g for christ sake, is there no other way to obtain it other then gold?

I find it rediculous. It affects everything on the ele and almost nothing on the thief. Attunement recharge rate should not be affected, unless Anet wishes to change it to affect every professions weapon swap CD.

That, and it needs to affect thieves and their initiative accumulation.

This is actually a strange claim when you think about it.

Attumenets are Elementalist “weapon swap”, but they are also the Elementalist class-mechanic. Just like Initiative is the Thieves class mechanic.

You are asking that Elementalist class mechanic is no longer affected by Chill, but then you are turning around and harping on Thieves because they are the only ones who have a class mechanic that isnt affected by Chill. And saying theirs should.

In my opinion no one should have their class mechanic exempt from Chill, and so thieves should be made to have Initiative effected by Chill aswell. Not a straight 66% carry-over, thats absurd given how the mechanic is very diffirent, but noticeable nonetheless.
But in the same way, i do not believe Elementalist should have their attunements completely unaffected by Chill either.

It may be the equivalent of a weaponswap, offering alternative nr#1-5 skills, but it is still a class mechanic and not actually a weaponswap. I also dont believe it was an oversight but done on purpose, as part of the tradeoff for all the extra weapon skills.

And therein lies the core of the problem for me, its not that Chill is to powerful its just that Attunements as a mechanic are to weak. And rather then making Elementalists another exception and exempting them from consequences other professions suffer from, similar to Thief.
I believe it is Attunements themselves that need to be buffed. I find the baseline cooldown still to long.

But a far bigger problem is that Attunements are often so poor on their own. That should you be forced to stay in an attunement longer due to Chill to have very little you can do while in this attunement. Because each individual attunement often just lacks real potency.

I play D/D myself, say i get into Earth. What do i have? A weak AA, a gapcloser that works rather clunky as a semi-CC, and an aoe cripple. On my off-hand two massively long cooldowns of 45sec aoe knockdown and a 30sec highly telegraphed, long channeled aoe.
Very rapidly will i exhaust my options, and as such my reason to stay in Earth. And thats just one example, the other attunements arent much better.

And thats what i see as the problem. A warrior or a thief can fight perfectly fine with just 1 weapon set, using the other for CC or mobility almost exclusively. Yet an elementalist that sticks to 1 attunement will quickly run out of abilities to cast, due to a lack of power or massive and unreasonable cooldowns.

Thats why Chill is perceived as this overpowered condition, because when you are locked into an attunement longer you have nothing left to do in that attunement. And i think that is perhaps a far bigger concern.

Well may be it should not effect it’s class mechanic but it should do something to Thief.

At the moment, other then Thief walking slowly after it kills you, it does absolutely nothing to a Thief.

I have a D/D Ele build that can load extreme amount of chill to people, you can’t believe how ineffective is against all professions other then Elementalist.

Warrior – Hambox Cleansing Irre/ Dodging March (do I have to say anything)
Thief – no effect
Necro – loading conditions to Necro you must be kidding
Engi – Automated Response (I wished Diamond Skin will %10 effective as this one)
Ranger – Sprit take cares everything for Engi
Guardian – you don’t really mean Guardian has problem cleaning conditions or?
Mesmer’s – well PUs doesn’t have any problem with it other specs, I don’t know that much
Ele – screwed big time with, either you go to every available cleane trait/heal/skill and you will deal no damage or you will die from it.

Obsidian Focus is quite ok for D/D.

Obsidian Focus procs from Drake’s Breath, Cone of Cold, Ether Renewal, Churning Earth, in all situation that you are vulnerable, it is effective.

Only problem is it is directly competing with Elemental Shielding with the number of auras D/D has, is 400 armor is better or %33 DR from protection?

currently Celestial Amulet + Jewel give
295 + 45 = 330

it will be 434 will that save Celestial in a typical build I was getting with Celestial 2237 attack power before now will be 2337 that will not save me.

And I don’t want extra 434 healing/434 condition I even don’t want 434 extra toughness I just want extra 200 Vitality give me that with 798 power 512 crit and 512 crit damage I don’t want anything else.

It isn’t just about jewels, it’s about stats in general. I can totally see why our designers would want the most influential thing (stats) to be locked down.

You got to be kidding me, the thread Allie references points out the major problem comes from the trait system.

You can play with your stats +/- 300 with trait system, that stays same and a jewel that barely change the stats for 100 is locked, cheapest solution for sure but definetely not the most effective.

Now it forces me with my Elementalist in sPVP get a rune set with Vitality which absolutely I don’t want to.

I think it is really time to stop playing unviable classes and start playing FOTMs like Hambows, Pistol Whip Thiefs, PU Mersmer, Sprit Rangers, Terror Necro, AH Guardians.

Then you will have single build for classes and there will be no balancing problems.

The numbers are just out of this world ..and that on celestial?? :O
While the gameplay was really good i still have to point out that it felt like god mode activated a bit :P .
Maybe im too used to spvp and im a wvw noob but you hit like freaking truck and they hit you for medium damage at best considering you didnt have that much access to protection. Not to degrade anything from the gameplay though. Maybe with stoneheart and a few changes it gets even better since diamond skin wasnt that big of a factor there.Then again you wouldnt be able to tank the condi snares and you would lose endurance a lot more.
those 10k firegrabs with 1.8k toughness and 15k hp though.. :O

with mix of Knights/Cavalier/Valkyrie you can easily reach %50 crit (with fury) and %90 crit damage number still have 16K HP/2800 Armor and decent healing that is the reason D/D Ele still rocks in WvWvW while with extreme stat customisations you can cover it weak spots.

But that is also the reason D/D Ele struggles so much in sPVP because none of the Amulets fits it need, I have really high hopes for new Cavalier Amulet may be I can take my D/D Ele to sPVP again.

It is funny but Diamond Skin was only relevant in 2 fights, against a Sword/Sword warrior which absolutely did nothing to him and one necro.

And prevented opener of 2 thieves with Basilisk Venom, other then those fights he was always under %90 health so his damage modifiers and Diamond Skin were useless.

For the rest of the fights you can easily do well in classical 0/10/0/30/30 which I ran in WvWvW and absolutey have no problem against anybody.

But for the love of god, I will not run that in sPVP, I have hopes that unnerf to cleansing water, evade on burning speed and sigil change and introduction of Cavalier amulet will make it playable in sPVP.

Btw, I hope they will not nutf burning speed + lightning flash combo like FGS that was his trick to one shot people.

I find it a bit curious that NOW you quote a forum post, being that is supports your position (even moderately at best). Yet, all the other posts (hello skyhammer and skyhammer farming threads) were thought of as not valid enough.

Pyriall, I don’t HAVE a position. If anything, my position tends to stand with the community. Sometimes, you guys send mixed messaging, which is what I am trying to understand. If I go back to the devs and tell them the feedback you give in this thread, then what should I say when they bring up the point I made?

I’m not going to get into detail on the Skyhammer point because I don’t want to derail this thread, but I will say that using Skyhammer to argue your point is backwards. The only reason I commented on that thread is because I needed to know what I was going to say when I went to the team and explained how the community feels it should be removed. It was literally the first issue I raised to the team the day I came back.

You act like it is ArenaNet vs. the community, and that is just wrong on so many levels. When you see me picking apart your arguments and pointing things out, it’s because I want to make sure you have thought everything through before I raise it to the team.

We all want the same thing. For GW2 to be the best it can be.

Now, back on topic. OE, I think your points are valid. I feel like your thread has mixed messaging in it, though. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you started this thread with the concern that we are removing a piece that you feel is tantamount to build diversity. Can you explain which builds you feel this will affect? I’m asking this because I am seeing posts from others that say it’s not really going to change much.

Everyone kept asking me “Is this patch going to shake up the meta?” and it always made me chuckle knowing what was coming. Given that we are changing so much, it will be a major shake-up for those of you that have known our game through it’s ups and downs. In that sense, it will be a big adjustment.

This is why I ask that you guys try things out before assuming this will hurt build diversity or the game in general. We are shaking things up and changing systems that we have not liked for a long time. Yes, it’s going to be a renaissance of GW2 PvP.

I’m just asking you guys to be open to it. If this goes out and it didn’t work out as we had planned, then we are open to change too.

Now, I won’t post for the rest of the weekend, but I had to get that off my chest. The movers are going to be here in 30 minutes so I need to go scramble to get things ready.

The problems is ANet extremely slow Allie.

It takes for 3 months you to decide something is broken or not and another 3 months to fix and if you make a mistake another 6 months to fix it again.

Lets say if you later decide removing the jewels is a mistake it would take 6 months introduce a new solution.

All the PVPer I respected like Phantaram, Teldo, Xeph they were telling we need a Cavalier type amulet in PVP or Celestial stats must be buffed for 2 years and it took you 2 years to introduce or modifiy them.

But Grouch tells in the stream that Celestial stats was a running gag in ANet for the last 2 years. Really quality players I followed and come to this game 2 years ago left this game long ago and they will never return.

We have no patience anymore to wait 6 months to see the broken things are fixed.

Just wanted to call some attention to this thread.

It is confusing for me to see this kind of mixed messaging. A ton of people agreed in that thread that there are too many moving parts in this game to balance it well enough. Now you guys are in here saying that removing jewels equates to dumbing the game down.

Can you guys do me a favor and try the game out after the features are in the game before assuming removing this is going to ruin everything?

Yes Allie, that is the thread I was talking about in my post as well. Please stick with it and don’t listen to the complainers. We want balance in this game or as close as you all can get to it and that is the way to do it. Everyone should read that thread and learn a thing or two. Seriously, it needs to happen if this game is ever going to get a glimpse of the competitive scene or for PvP to even have a bigger dedicated playerbase.

Tbh, I can’t believe people are complaining about such a small stat such as the jewel. It barely made a difference. Playerbase always screams at Anet for not listening and I now understand why sometimes now even though they did listen and took it right out of that thread. This is a great step towards achieving balance even if it’s a baby step.

And your opinion represents the %100 of the player base, from the number of the posts here it doesn’t seems to be that way to me.

Some cheese classes like Thief, Warrior only need Berserker, some border line hopeless classes like Elementalist need every piece of fine tuning to be able to exist.

I am extremely happy with my D/D elementalist in WvWvW because I can fine tune every piece of it, I don’t touch it in sPVP because either I am glassier then glass or tanky like hell with no middle ground anywhere.

Justin had the crux of the reasoning correct – it’s a small tweak to your build that a lot of players could do without. It’s a very small stat change in exchange for another aspect of a PvP build. By removing it, it’s one less thing a new player needs to learn. With runes, sigils, amulets, weapon skills, slotted skills, minor traits and major traits, making a build is a pretty hefty process. Jewels were a very, VERY small % of that overall build.

Trust me, doing focus tests and watching new players play the game, our builds can be very overwhelming. You guys are experts by now, but you have to keep in mind that other players are not as advanced as you are, and removing pieces to the builds allows us to slightly lower the barrier to entry.

So theme of this release sound more and more new players new players, like you need more income.

An old players get short end of the stick, for me to be able to put that Valkyrie jewel to Berserker Amulet is an important thing for my super squishy Elementalist.

When this game came out the buzz word was build diversity now the buzz word new players come to our game it is super easy.

Blinding Ashes AOE or Single Target?

At least they should guarantee that it proc on the selected target, think about it you are fighting for your survival with a thief, and there is a Sprit Ranger in the area and one of its Sprits would be hit by an AOE and blinds one of the Sprits of the Ranger.

  • Elemental contingency competes with evasive arcana a global 10 sec icd means nobody will take it. Lets look at the blog post on the sigils changes for inspiration. Everyone takes fire sigil over air because the damage is marginally less and hits more then 1 target. You guys adjusted fires damage down and dropped Air’s icd to 3 secs. Reason given in the blog post is because it competes with fire and fire was always better. Elemental contingency competes with Evasive if the icd is 10 sec per attunement then I would certainly try it out. If it is global there isn’t any point because EA is always better.
  • Blinding ashes is disappointing that it is 1 per target then global icd. I think a cap of 3 is better here we are talking about a 30 fire ele who will probably be squish.
  • I like lightning rod being halting strike comparable that is what I was hoping for.

Exactly the same feeling, Blinding Ashes, nice 1vs1 but become that squishy to get to the 30 fire that means I have to stay away more and more from team fights.

And if a node is guarded with Sprit Ranger, MM Necro, Decap Engi I have stay away from them also so what is the use of this trait now, works against only Guardians.

Air GM, my only reliable way getting interrupts is shocking aura every 20s, so a GM trait they can use every 20s and I have to take this instead of fresh air, common……

So no lingering elements to Stone Heart again 30 point investement to a trait will not be any use at %25 of the time.

Water I don’t have to say anything I think.

Arcane GM I actually like but taking that instead of EA?

I think a big problem that hasn’t been pointed out is how easy it is for the pw thief to initiate on squishy targets (ele/mesmer mostly) : Infiltrator’s signet. You just have to press infiltrator’s strike, infil signet and steal at the same time. It’ll combine the 3 ranges together in a giant port towards the target, instantly, without tells. If you basi on top, your target is already in huge trouble without even using pistolwhip itself.
Every thief no matter which spec nowadays is playing infiltrator’s signet for this reason. I’m not sure exactly how to fix it. Maybe keep it a stun break but add a cast time to it, like stomp on warrior ? It would make it impossible to use anything more than steal on top of it, and would decrease the speed at which the thief transitions from initiating to pistolwhip mashing. In any case, those instant dashes on the target for 2000+ range should not be possible imo.

What kills the Ele is that 10s chill on the steal, you can’t run away, you can’t attunement switch because attunement switch CD is on %66 longer with chill, common that is the life breath of the Ele, either chill should be lower or it should not effect the attunement switch.

And can please chill have some effect on Thiefs, like reduced initiative generation or something, chill has no effect when they are killing you only after they kill you, they leave the scene more slowly.

Otherwise we will have to be the node roamer, go to node, do the 1vs1, perma blind somebody, if somebody comes to help bug out….

I wished we had some talent to reduces the CD of FGS, funnily it is our best roaming tool.

I see Stone Heart only usefull in 2 scenarios,

you have Ether Renewal, you switch to Earth to get Rock Solid so you will not be interrupted the next 3.5s when you are running like a headless chicken and would not be critted that time but consider sPVP there is only %60 crit damage (will be lower with the changes) will it worth to burn GM trait for that %60 I don’t know.

Or you will try to use only offensive spell worth mentioning in Earth. Churning Earth so you will not be the punch bag for some thief.

If you see stay any longer in the Earth Attunement longer then that in Earth you will be a punching bag.

I guess this will be defining question about this trait, against 1vs1 this trait can be awesome but to be able get 30 in fire we have to give up some of our survivablity and if it is not able hit multiple peoples because of ICD, we will be caught pants down in group fights.

Hi,

after such an extensive change to a game mechanic, it is logical to ask free refund on the runes.

When the patch goes live, please place all the runes we have on the gear to inventory or mail to us.

It seems my 2xWater 2xMonk 2xTraveler is going to the toilet. Traveler runes cost 8 gold on AH, I am not ready to throw that away.

In every MMO after such a change, these items placed free to Inventory.

Or give us an option to pull these items out of the gear without destroying the gear.

And I will push my luck one step further, when you restore the runes, please place original runes to the Dungeon Armors, I have PVT armor from Ascolanian Catacomb I don’t want to grind there again to get 4 more Monk Runes.

I got my all PVT gear from Asc Catacombs and they had already Monk Runes, to get max possible boon duration I replaced 2 of them with water, 2 of them with traveler now that 2 piece bonus is pitiful %5 and I better go to full 6 but guess what other 4 are destroyed.

I have to again grind Asc Cat which I passionately hate.

I have 3 Celestial Accessories (Amulet, Ears) I have enough Laurels to buy the rings but I was waiting what will happen with critical damage, so now that they are buffing the Celestial stats %6 is it better to get Celestial Rings or I should go for Cavaliers/Knight?

With the clarification,i think its going to be nice for WvW.Say a guild runs with 3 staff/support elementalists(0/0/10/30/30) full cleric/magi with stacks etc…at least 1 or even 2 can get this trait.Can make good “on the go” heals when you pass through that zerg.Also do not forget that you can have 4 blast finishers with staff so the healing in regroups or even mid-fight can be good + Energy sigils on staff will buff the waterbot builds(all builds really) even more.

I have never tried cleric armor on my ele besides cleric trinkets.Tempted to buy them now just for the fun of it.

To all who is saying there is no healer in GW2.I guess you haven’t played Mace/Shield/Staff full cleric guardian(2k healingpower).Its almost the same thing as the build that everyone is theorycrafting in this thread.The Guards heal is huge and can keep up a melee party up very easily even in outmaned situations.No dmg,just heal,with cleanses.

Yeah we know Guardian build and we also know that he will be kicked from dungeon runs because of no damage element.

And in Zerg environment what will keep you alive is 15 guardians blasting water fields not my %25 healing increase.

If they guarantee that dungeon groups will not only ask about Zerkers but accept also Support guys, I will not say anything about this trait.

But only changing Critical Damage to Ferocity will not do this, in Dungeons nobody needs healers because mechanics are mostly one shot hits, if you know the hit is coming and you dodge it, you don’t need heals.

What they have to do to put constant small damage to the instances so your 2 dodge will not completely negate the damage and you will need a healer/support guy.

Think about the knights in Battle of Lion Arch, if you dodge when the circle disappears why do you need a healer.

What I really hate, I really like support role, I played a lot healer in other MMOs but if I want to play a dungeon GW2 I have to get all the damage modifier traits and a Lightning Hammer otherwise nobody will get me to the team.

Support is needed in Zerg content.

In Zerg content they need our water field and how much your are healed from water blast, is completely dependant on healing power of the person who is blasting the field.

so no, this trait has no effect in Zerg content.

Why do you say it’s a pve skill ?

To me this look more helpfull in pvp, +500 healing power on a cleric build is a lot, a normal regen would tick for 440 hp/s with 2500 healing power.. quite powerfull.

Lets see, if Pistol Whip Thief attack, one of your team member, let say a Mesmer, all the healing you mentioned above with Cleric + new GM Trait will not keep him alive, so it is useless in PVP. If he/she attacks you it would not help you also because you have 0 benefit from it.
