Retallation should be capped that cannot hit more than the hit incoming.
Hi Everyone.
I’m not a hardcore sPvPer but i have a problem in capture point maps.
When a point is safe to capture, then only 1 player is enough to capture that point. It is best practice that other players leave the capture point and go for other points or objectives.
The problem is that other player doesnt leave the capture point because they will not gain the point. I see 5 ppl capturing one point while enemy is getting other points. Most of the time i wanna leave the capture point but i wont want to. Because i just secure the capture point myself and other players just came for free points.
The current system doesnt favour people who defends points and does succesfull pvping. When i see more than 1 people on a capture point and leave that point and go for defending other points i usually end up with lowest point in the game while being more usefull to the team.
How about removing this map and reverting the RTL? win win
Even most active guilds started to slack due to ACs.
Is this function working intented right now? Because whenever i join my friend’s PvP it joins me every server but my friend. It keeps jumping maps if i repeatedly try to join.
They really should givie up nerfing X skill to be par with Y skill. Instead buff Y skill to be par with X skill with considering all other class balances.
Change one or two of the auto attacks not to be projectile. A kinda of drop down skill from sky or etc.
More faster, not delayed and more reliable skills. You can almost walk dodge every skill from 1200 range.
Remove or rework all single target skills.
Give some usefull auto attack skill which doesnt require a target to hit like guardian staff
One can simply not interrupt any healing skill at his will in this game.
Besides all, it is pathetic and funny that eles are in a such situation that they cannot do pvp with staff which is supposed to be a main mage weapon.
They think, Mist form as invulneraiity skill should be par wtih other invul skills forgetting ele has low healt pool and cant be equalized other class invul skills.
High health pool + cant use heal or utility while invul

Seems pretty fair. But i dont know how Anet thinks when it comes to balance.
As ele most of the time i end up with with less health after using any heal skills in combat since i get more dmg then heal.

Just implement a map that let max 50vs50 and there you go, custom arenas will do the rest.

They are probably busy with nerfing usefull ones like comet and DT was logically blast finisher now randomly blast finisher even not chance to trigger 1&.

IMHO, disabling weapon and utility skills is a cheat and lazy implementation in a game.
Why not just let all invul. skills use utility skills instaed of not to use?
1- More instant and reliable skills on Staff and Scepter
2- More comressed traits and usefull traits.

4- Focus/Scepter reworked
5- More logical nefs
6- Out of combat weapon swaps
7-One dev looking into ele(Just look ele, best build is DD and DD is nothing to do with magicians this show how pathetic is ele.)

I just cant live RTL with being nerfed every patch to the usefullnesss state. RTL was the biggest reason why i picked up the Elementalist in early BWE’s and still is my main.Here are the nefs to RTL so far;
- You cannot use utility skills while RTLing
- You cannot use weapon skills while RTLing
- RTL goes down faster in air and you cannot close huge gaps in air.
- RTL cooldown went up 15 to 20sec.
- RTL cooldown went up 20 to 40sec if not hit
- RTL travel distance reduced 1500 to 1200 although we usually fix tooltips instead of actual skill.
I cant imagine what is left to nerf RTL further…
- You fix skill tooltip if skill’s tooltip numbers > actual skill (Healing Rain, Phoenix)
- You fix skill if actual skill > skill’s tooltip numbers(RTL distance)
Ele may be OP but this is not the correct way of balancing things.

Updating Tornado needs to be a priority, the knockback needs to get more ticks to actually be effective, might need to come with protection as well as stability, or at least reflect projectiles maybe, lol.
None of those will help suicide on confusion.
Every patch we are getting nerfs again and again. Look the RTL nerfed already 6 times. There is almost 1 ele build that is viable and you are nerfing it already. Nerfing everything that makes elementalist enjoyable. I’m in the level of quiting ELE and rerolling another class not because of they are nerfing ele, because they are nerfing ele constantly. We have dead weapons like scepter and focus. People barely use them. We have dead utility skils, dead traits. However, we are still getting nerfed.
I’m just asking is this fair? You are gonna say “DD ele was roflstomping was that fair”? This is not my problem it is your problem Anet. Why not just buffing others instead of nerfing viable ones. You have some serious problems with balancing classes.

Currently in Gunnar’s Hold borderland, there are bots in central water that hunts kraits 7/24. They all stacked in one place.
I report those but this is not a normal bot situation. They hurt WvW and take slot for queue. I just want Devs take a look into those asap.
So, 620 things doing their thing, with the serve having to calculate what they’re doing.
Let’s say even this is 620 things, it is only just for one player. You need to calculate 620 things for 620 player/npc which is named n-square problem. But yeah it was much more bigger fights in aion
- The skills lag is far beyond being %100 capacity. While i get almost no skill lag on 50vs50 i get skill lag on 20vs20vs20
- Sometimes certain skills always lag but not others. Not talking about auto-attack. My staff air 4 is the first skill always skill lags when the skill lag happens but i can execute other 4 just fine.
- When skil lag comes, even bundle skill lags, like placing ram which use zero percentage of server resource compared to auto-attack which hits 5 enemy and grant coniditon in a zerg.
- Your chat never lags, your movement never lags, your auto attack never lags.
I hope those informations will help them to figure out the problem of the skill lag.
I would like to remind one thing before any nerfs come.
The only usefull ele build and the only traits that has snergy are cantrips and related traits.
One thing, while i support the idea of raising the aoe cap, they will become unable to solve skill lag with increased aoe cap. More aoe cap means more calculation for server
Actually i would buy, if all skills goes full cooldown when changed in combat. Like you switched dd to staff, you start with all weapons skill on cooldown with full duration. I know it will never happen.
Yes nerf this skill 5th times and i quit ele.
Orbs must be back in a revisited manner. Remove buffs and add points and maybe wxp. Even there were a only 5pts for orbs that would be ok.
I talked to our server guys and we just don’t have the ability to reset these at different times. As much as that is an unsatisfying answer for you in the EU, it is reality.
So what about resseting both 2h earlier? This will be another content that players will be playing. Because the Reset of WvW is always an essential part for WvWers. People doesnt sleep or sleep beforehand and prepare for it. But it is 3am with my time and there is no possiblity that i can stay up that time.
