If I fight a team full of F2P players, I will have a big advantage. But then I will have F2P players in my team and it will put me in a disadvantage.

I would be okay with this. This lets WvW be more accessible since I won’t have to carry 200 sets of gear just because I want to play a variety of builds.

Rousing Resilience

Rousing Resilience- Any stunbreak you use will break stun for allies near you. Gain toughness and health when you or an ally break out of a stun.

  • 1000 toughness
  • 2000 health restored.

Why:

  • For PvE, this will give rise to warrior healers in raids. Situational, but in CC heavy raid bosses, Warriors will be invaluable.
  • For PvP/WvW, this will counter the CC spam and counter focus fire on allies. If you see a train following that necro around and he is getting stunlocked, use a stunbreak and he will survive better.

Been running ventari stance from the very beginning of my revenant journey and it looks like I’m one of the few people that actually like it, sure it’s still weaker than other legends (specially shiro with it’s stunbreak, damage boost/healing and near-infinite endurance) but it’s ok if you like to play a more supportive character. I used it with a healer tankish sword/shield & staff build with cleric gear but my solo play was pretty terrible with little to no damage now I swapped to a new condition mace/sword & shield build with settler/dire gear and it’s all good, I have good self and group healing, I’m fine as a tank, I have nice condi damage and I can offer fire fields for all dem combos including area might plus I can remove boons if needed. The thing with the tablet is you need to understand how to make it better than it is if you just leave it on the healing pulse… Ventari’s Will is a pretty good healing skill if you can get it to pass through people, you can trait your tablet to give area blind/regeneration and/or protection/might on a 2-3s cooldown and you can get yourself a tablet boosting runeset like Rune of Altruism, Rune of the Aristocracy, Rune of Balthazar, etc… In the end, Ventari legend could, and should, definitely get a few buffs and tweaks but it’s ok now, just not to the zerker full dps standard builds.

Have you tried Druid healer? If not, that is probably why you like it.

I want the maps to be solo roamer friendly.

I just want to log in, go to some objectives and find another solo roamer and kill him. I don’t want to find friends so I can finish objectives quickly. At night, I don’t get to have allies around.

I would say no too your changes drastically decrease ventaris condi cleanse ,healing and CC abilities in exchange for a few boring upkeeps. And currently our healing isn’t exactly on par with the tempest/druid… Nor is our condi cleanse…

Currently ventaris problems are

  • Moving the tablet feels to clunky do to cast time, delay and after cast
  • For raids our lack of burst heal makes us bad main healers
  • In SPvP strong weakness to CC and condis makes us useless.

Ventari is not there for burst healing, it is there for sustain healing. ANet said so themselves, and my changes is to reflect that.

If you want burst healing, you go to Druid. If you want sustain healing, you go to Ventari.

Right now, Ventari works like an ineffective burst healer when ANet says that they are sustain healer.

Tangled Depth Meta: Grants RMP

By succeeding the meta and killing the Chak Gerent in Tangled Meta, I suggest that at 100% participation, Chak Gerent gives a guaranteed Reclaimed Metal Plate.(RMP) Reclaimed Metal plate is a material required to get Plated Weapons.

  • This will not flood the market with Reclaimed Metal plate since RMP is account bound. However, it rewards skills much more than gold.
  • It also provide an alternative to getting these plates as well as possibly lower the price of RMP a little bit.
  • It is a proper reward Gerent for its difficulty. If I have to go through Tangled Depth and Gerent, I really want to be rewarded properly. Therefore, there is no need to nerf the difficulty of Tangled Depth. The reward is fair enough to do the meta.

We’re complaining because HoT introduced a lot of systems that make the game not the same as it was before the expansion released.

It is no longer “play how you want.” It is now “you must play with a huge glob of people you don’t know and do instanced content.”

I don’t get what you mean when you say, “It is no longer play how you want.”

  • If I am a solo/small group player type in open world, I can play in Auric Basin, Verdant Brink, Tangled Depths or any zone in the core world
  • If I am a solo/small group player in a instance world, I can play fractals or personal storyline.
  • If I am a large group player in a open world, I can play Dragon stand, Silverwaste or go World boss farming.
  • If I am a large group player type in a instance, I can play Raids.

This is what Play how you want is. It is not: I don’t want other type to exist or else I cannot feel like I can play how I want.

Last person to apply the condition that dealt the killing blow? Spam condies.
First person to create a stack that dealt the killing blow? Be the first to apply condies and keep them up the entire time.

Last Person to apply the condi is fair since last hitting is what gets the points.

Yes, they have shadow steps which makes it easier to run, but that’s not how you win anything. Both thieves and necro needs a better way to stay in the fight.

Thieves can use their shadowstep to deaggro players and then gank them again when they aren’t looking.

I think the only real problem with GW2 is it’s complexity…. It is a cool game to watch however, it is extremely hard to understand what is happening if you have never played GW2 before and why would one watch something where they have no idea what is going on?

Guild Wars 2 is actually probably the most simplest of MMORPG. In other MMORPG, there are tons of buffs that does something.

One of the biggest problems with the tablet is it’s initial summoning. We should be able to ground target a location and create the tablet at that location instead of directly under us. This would allow us to strategically position the tablet from the start instead of having to create the tablet and THEN move it into the position we want it thus wasting two global cooldowns and far too much time.

Even if they fix that, it’ll still be useless. That alone isn’t enough.

I have to say no only because Ventari’s entire stance revolves around the tablet. Your suggestion means revenants can’t utilize Ventari at all until at least level 31. One fourth of the class just can’t be used until you’re more than a fourth of the way through leveling, period.

“But it’s a healing spec,” you say. “No one needs that at low levels.”

No other class in any other context is locked out of such a significant part of its core mechanic for so long. It’s not about being usable, it’s about keeping this spec in line with the precedent set forward by all other specs and mechanics on all other classes. No legend revolves around the use of its elite skill, nor should it.

EDIT: I agree with the changes to the skills themselves. I do not agree with shifting Ventari’s Will to the elite slot. The training wheel always unlocks the healing skill first. If a skillset revolves around a particular mechanic, that mechanic should unlock first, not last.

EDIT 2: Grammar revisions for clarity of meaning.

Alright then.

Healing skill: Project Tranquility → Energy Explusion.

Elite: Ventari’s Will.

This way, Revs at lower level can summon the tablet at least.

Ventari stance is useless back then, and it is still useless now. Here are my changes.

  • Healing Skill: Project Traquility -> Energy Expulsion. 30 Second cooldown. 4600 healing. The tablet will explode into pieces.
  • Protective Solace- Unchanged.
  • Natural Harmony- Now an upkeep skill. Heals nearby allies for 480 hp every second.
  • Purifying essence- Now an Upkeep skill. Removes 1 condition every 3 seconds.
  • Elite: Ventari Will- move tablet around.

This changed all to fast now elementalist are the new healers, druids will be joining thief in not been welcome much in raids. Well even thief can go venom share i suppose and break bars good. At this point, i dunno might be wrong, is better to be just an old dps/spotter/spirit old build than a druid

  • Full particles- Everybody gets flashy effects.

Please reduce visual clutter on other people instead of mine like how FFXIV does it. This means, that I see my super good looking fireball, while I see other people fireball as the weak version. Other people will see my weak version fireball while they see their own big fireball.

This will make my fireball look substantial while reducing visual clutter.

Why… Ok cleansing ire… Make it master level though and it’s best in slot…

Last stand will still be a better choice.

If your Rousing Resilience is competing against Thick Skin, I might reconsider.

I messaged anet about getting DR during SW and DS meta events. and the words that struck me the most from what they said was. The reason I’m getting DR is because I’m gaining an unfair advantage over other players..How in the world is doing meta events gaining an unfair advantage?

It does not. Fun story, we ended up short a person in that path the other night and had to wait for someone without waypoints to run to the zone. So we were stuck in that farm room for about ten minutes. I can’t for the life of me understand how anyone sits in that room and kills flame legion for hours on end. It was awful.

That’s why I’m such a lover of instanced content: you have control over who you play with. Want to be casual? Great! Want to be far more serious? Also great. But these event maps.. they just lump everyone together, people who have differing skills, different goals, etc and there is no way to control getting in maps with like minded people (people who want to explore, do hero points, etc or those who want to just focus on the meta.) It can cause hostility and frustration from all sides. It’s a glaring problem right now due to it being nearly all Hot is offering us.

If you are looking for a meta taxi. Go to the LFG, look for the word vb/ds/ab/tarir/octovine/td “taxi.”

If not, log off and log back in.

  • Rage skills have their cooldown increase.
  • Rage skills do less damage.
  • Flames of War last 2 second shorter than previous.
  • Blood Reckoning has a 1 second cast time.
  • Decrease stun on Headbutt to 1 second.
  • Increase self-applied stun to Headbutt to 3 seconds.
  • Wildblow no longer knock down other players in their path.

Pull 6 mobs, cast signet of fury, press f2, cast 100 blades, press f1, loot. Though you don’t even have to loot any more with the new mastery.

I tried that. It turns out that Rolling devils, Veteran Stonetail, Pocket raptors and some other mobs don’t like to stand still.

Well its simple dodge then dodge some more then move then use 3 then move(from the yellow and red circles) and then dodge then move then use 3 then special, then dodge then move then 3 then dodge then move then 3 and special then again dodge then move if you use a greatsword.
If you use a rifle use just move and move and move and move and move and move while pressing 1.

You have to watch out for big hits and CC. Don’t stand still either.

All mobs have big hits and CC and, there are many mobs that bunch up together. How do you watch out for every single hit?

So I decide to get off my ranger/necro/dragonhunter/chronomancer/Revenant and play with my zerker warrior.

I can’t leave waypoint without dying. All mobs kill me at sight.

Defiance Bar

I feel that Defiance Bar is just too intrusive and makes a lot of mechanics worthless.

My suggestion to fix this is that while the Defiance bar is on cooldown(Turns orange):

  • Weakness/Cripple now works on bosses.
  • Chill/Immobilize slows the boss down to 33% movement speed.
  • Blind weakens the damage by 50% on bosses.

When the defiance bar is up again(turns blue), bosses are not affected by it anymore(currently)

This would make my mace/shield warrior less useless than now.

i think theres a couple character model settings you can turn down a notch to help, one to do with quality and one to do with amount shown on screen, ive been using the normal client and just set those down to medium and havent had a crash since

Nope has nothing to do the quality.

I dc at any time of the day. Even when there is no one around

They are RNG drops. Keep farming them.

I am so sick of getting disconnected and then find out my space is filled up.

  • No, your 64bit client isn’t helping.
  • No, joining a party doesn’t help.

Implement a way to save my spot when I disconnect.

When the new healing skills came out, it was priced at 25 skillpoints. This was extremely annoying for PvPers. Many people called for it to be removed.

But that was character bound.

Nika/Grymm/Runes/sigils are account bound and they aren’t as annoying as back then. I am not up and arms over this but I do agree with the OP. It would be a nice thing to have.

Have fun paying for your unlocks then guys, you are giving them the green flag to continue doing it, good luck with that.

Anything is better than giving everything to everyone for free. Because once you do, they go with the attitude that they should not work for anything on an MMO and with the first sight of progress, they create whiny threads on the forums.

Except, this is PvP. It is meant to have everything to be accessible.

Go the GW1 route. Make traps Easily Interruptable.

This will make Traps very useless. So, I say no.
