I don’t agree with any of them.

1. The reward for dynamic events is increased. I completed Wayfarer foothills today and I got 1 silver and 80 copper for each dynamic events. This is an area where I can 3 hit ko mobs.

2. Disagree. It’ll blow up my client from the sheer amount of dynamic event going on. Also, it encourages just waypoint to dynamic events. ANet wants you to not use the waypoint very often. Which is why it was high.

3. Disagree. Just create a new character. This suggestion encourages more grind.

4. Disagree. I rather just click on the vista on the map and just view it from there.

A better idea is to add the highest tier materials(Ori, Ancient wood logs, Gossamer, Fine crafting materials) Throughout the world and increase the chance of getting the same level gear. This way, I don’t have to feel like I have to stay in Orr to get richer.

This would be good if gossamer plants started existing. Leather’s too common for me to care about where I get it.

I like that idea. A harvesting tool can be used to find Gossamer.

My suggestion: The Orichalcum, Ancient Wood Log, Gossomer scraps should be found throughout the entire world instead of just inside Orr and Frostgorge sounds.

-One node per a zone and one rich node per a server.
-A faster way to get to these nodes is to talk to a certain unnamed NPCs. They will tell you which area has the node. Some of them may require you to successfully complete a dynamic event in order to get the information on where the materials are.

My expectation:

Negative expectation:
-The price of orichalcum/Ancient Wood Log goes up.
-More work on the writing team to create more dialogues.

Positive expectation:
-People no longer have to feel to stay inside Orr.
-More need to re-explore the beautiful vast world. The world design team clearly showed that they worked hard on this.

This was in the October 1st patch notes.

In my opinion, this is the worst change of this patch or arguably the worst of all time.

I kept with my Pit Fighter helm from level 30-80 through the use of T-stones because it looked cool. With this patch, I will have an excess amount of T-stones that I will never use again and there is no way I am going to buy from the gem shops because I have tons of T-stones, let me bond with my equipment. Let me look cool from 0-80.

Please revert this!

1 silver is enough to discourage waypoint jumping.

There is an overkill of condition removal there. Why would you want Turtle Defense? I feel it is better to have Missile deflection trait. This way, you can reflect rapid fire/Unload back at the Ranger and thieves.

This is because it’ll be easier to rout enemies.

PuG zergs are like militia in total war. They have very weak morale. If a trained guild attacks them, they’ll run away after seeing so many of their comrades die.

Without this, everyone will just fight to the death.

I don’t understand why Feast requires Arcane Crystals. It doesn’t make sense in lore or in mechanics. sPvP cannot use consumable while PvE people can.

-Water attunement elementalists
-Ranger with healing spring is one of the best team healing skill.
-Necromancer with Well of Blood.

-You can stealth allies and they will get regen under stealth as thief if traited.
-There are Mesmer traits that allows you to shatter clones to heal allies.

Every single profession can be a healing based profession if you create your build correctly. If you play correctly, you can save your teammates from death using those healing skills.

I can distinguish between Scholars, Adventurers and Soldiers due to their armor class, it’s not that hard. You still won’t know if you see an Ele or a Necro, but you will know that you are going to fight a Scholar.

Punitive Measures - Aggro

I disagree on all points.

1. “You are penalized for not staying within your opponents invisible aggro area.”

ArenaNet should raise the aggro range but if there is no aggro area, it can lead to abuse or exploiting. If I can get all enemies to aggro to this glitchy spot, I can decrease the amount of enemies on this area. Therefore no one can kill anything because they get invulnerable.

2. “Yet it seems the game recognizes when you are badly injured and punitively chases you to the ends of the earth to kill you for your insolence! Sounds like a double standard to me!”

I like this. It seems silly that the enemy would let you go when you are dying. It is a free kill for them. Although I never experienced this since I am the one tearing them apart.

3. “Spawn rate is way too high in many areas!”

I think the Spawn rate is fine to me. I tear the enemy apart way too fast and I don’t see many enemies when I leave. However, if the spawn rate is too low, zergs can tear the place apart and I won’t get any kills to complete my heart.

Remove the ability to join multiple guilds at once or add the ability to speak with more than two guilds at once. But let the influence flow through one guild only.

Doing either one will benefit to guild leaders. This way, Guild leaders don’t have to manually whisper each member about guild activities like WvW, or anything. Guilds will be very active because people don’t need to stay on one guild and ignore the other because they forgot to represent it to give influence. People can enjoy speaking to their friends while listening to the orders of their commander in WvW.

I can’t distinguish between an Elementalist and a Necromancer class through armor. But I can distinguish them between their skills.

I highly doubt I cannot distinguish a Guardian and a Elementalist when they pop up their first skill.

In my opinion, as long as it has a jump feature. I would use it all the time. I don’t need it to be sharable.

I would explore the entire world, do jump puzzles, etc with tonics. If I can do at least one auto-attack with the tonic, I’ll join a guild that’ll do a tonic rush on the enemies just for kitten and giggles.

So many bad points than good points and plenty of learn 2 play and qqing issues.

World v World

  • One thing that keeps bugging me is, when we are attacking a fort, and the defenders are on the wall, when we “kill” them, they go into down state and we can’t finish them or hit them to death, because we get obstructed, so they get res back up quite fast, and there’s goes the loot and the dance starts over again.

- So my suggestion, is to get rid of the down state on WvW, or find a way to do some kind of finish ! The same goes for the opposite, but on the walls , we can at least hit them to death.

Use AoE attacks like Barrage. They cannot heal up because they are being barraged. Your teammates should put AoE spells as well unless they are terrible.

  • The ballistas get obstructed when they are on the walls, when the enemy is too close, making them useless in that situation.

Put them closer to the edge of the wall. You don’t see Ballista shooting through the walls to the enemies when they are away from the edge in movies or in real life.

  • The armor repair is a bad idea, i think some user already said that, because when you are losing and keep getting pounded, the idea to spend a fortune in repairs doesn’t go well with many of us, and so, they simple avoid confrontation, and prefer to wait till the week ends.

Then stop getting yourself killed. I hardly died in WvW, this is because I knew when to push and when to fall back. I never had to pay such massive fees. Instead, I earn a lot of profit.

  • The whole jump to the edge of the wall, so you don’t get obstructed, and can actually hit someone, and risk getting pulled, don’t know if its working as intended, or just bad wall codding…

I think the current system is fine. If a enemy player is far away from the wall, the ranged defender can shoot him as long as he is in range. If he wants to hit closer, he’ll have to take the risk.

  • Other thing related to whole wall / obstructed, only the aoe’s can properly hit the players defending, unless they go to the edge of the wall.

This is true, but if all auto-attacks can attack wall defending players, they won’t be able to defend properly.

  • A donation bank, on every tower, keep, castle, so players can donate for the upgrades of that structure, and the keep lord can only use it for that purpose.

Only suggestion I can agree with.

  • The gate siege, it seems that having two catapults on the other side, is better than to have the oil pot up and running, because the damage pass the gate, and the players are safe on the other side, just keeping sending boulders to the door, i don’t know, but this seems broken to me.

- The oil pot which was suppose to be the one doing that job, is quite useless, because its the first thing the players target before constructing the rams, the oil pot gets burned down quiet easily and nobody uses it, the best you can get is like 2, maybe 3 shots, and that is if you find someone down there.

So it may be needed to make the oil pots more hard to kill and make a user protected from the aoe’s, because right now, its not working.

Wrong, the Oil pot is very useful in killing players. It is that the players are smart enough not to get themselves killed. When players get smart enough about a Catapult behind the gate, the Catapult will be equally useless as a Boiling pot.

  • An Alliance system, so guilds can properly coordinate their attacks.

Titan Alliance is an alliance without an in-game alliance system. We have no need for that.

  • Guild getting influence per tick if they own a tower/keep/castle the way it is now, doesn’t give any incentives to fight for a keep. If we get influence points per tick, we would have a better reason to fight for it, and spend money on it.

The incentive is to win. If the server takes a keep, your strategic point is lost and your server will have to spend golds to re-take it and re-fortify it. On the other hand, all this does is make Guilds camp on keeps and towers because they cannot take more than one keep/tower/camps. They have to defend this place instead of being somewhere else where places actually need help.

- On a related note, the banner doesn’t show who we are, so its just a random guild like any other, the game doesn’t make us try to become the best, because in the end, we are just a random banner out there, part of the mindless zerg.

Then don’t claim the Keep/tower/supply camp.

  • What to do after we hit 80, I feel we lack information, for example, where to buy armors, weapons, dungeons to run, places to explore, what we left behind, haven’t done, suggestions… show us, it didn’t end there.

Seems legit to me man. Sounds like a good tactic.

After spending several gold on the tower to fortify the tower from further attacks by Borlis pass, a 24 silver trebuchet takes all that away, with no way for Ehmry Bay to stop the trebuchet from destroying the gates.

I love good cheap tactics.

Borlis Pass and Fergusson Crossing built trebuchets in their citadel to take back their home towers from Ehmry Bay.

There is no way for Ehmry Bay to get to the Trebuchet. I thought that this was a bug but after submitting a few reports about it, the only thing I see changed was that the invulnerability around the spawn is gone. So it could be a feature for defeated servers to get back into the game.

The only way to counter this is to build trebuchet as quickly as you can to destroy the trebuchet before they destroy your trebuchet.

Borlis Pass had proven to Ehmry Bay that they can recuperate enough to take back their homeworld towers and garrison from Ehmry Bay after we annihilated Borlis Pass and Fergusson Crossing.

Then again, we took back what they stolen once again too easily, we took the garrison with only one flame ram and 10-20 zerglings.

The devs literally confirmed that there will be dueling in the future. They need time to stamp out bugs instead of making new ones.

Limit time is not an option. I refuse to let the game decide when I play when I have a wonky schedule.

If you are not going to recruit people oversea or players that play at night, then you don’t deserve the overnight army to protect your keeps.

All I see here is qqing.

If you hate long queue time, go to Devona Rest or Kaineng.

6. Ability to place trebuchet in the Citadel where enemies cannot reach so the trebuchet can attack Towers from afar without any fear of ganking.

Dismantling Siege Engines.

They’re cheap, maybe the Siege golem is expensive to me. But they are cheap.

Buying a lot of siege weapons are expensive, tell another player to lay down an arrow cart instead of you putting down your arrow cart. Periodically remind all players to have at least one ram and/or one arrow cart with them at all times.

Instead of one player carrying fifty blue prints, fifty players bring one/two blueprints each.

No they did not place a trebuchet at a jump puzzle tower. They placed a trebuchet in the citadel where my server cannot reach inside no matter what. This is a bug that needs fixing.

This is a short story from the Cycle of the Night when Arena Net introduced the Sylvari long before beta was even announced. It explains about “All things have the right to grow.” This excerpt applies only to children.

Despite the signs of long-ago death, the slumbering ruins felt somehow alive; the hush and whisper of tide below the cliff rising and falling like a sleeper’s breath. Something low and shadowy, stinking of brine, cast a slender shadow among the crumbling rocks. Cadeyrn watched it pass between the tilted walls and fragmented arches that must have been a chapel. Saw it flicker where an altar once stood. Marked where the shadow vanished away.
“Are you prepared?” Niamh murmured softly behind him, her frond-like hair rustling in the cold breeze. She drew her sword and checked its edge, finding it keen. Eager silver eyes met his dark gold gaze. “It is time to strike.” Two others of an even younger generation than Cadeyrn stood with her; both, like them, members of the Cycle of Noon.

Cadeyrn stepped away from the little ledge on which he’d been crouched. “They are ready for us. We must move cautiously.”

Together, they crept down onto the beach and into the ruins, and there, they found their quarry. Cadeyrn’s sword cleaved a krait in two with a single stroke. He spun the weapon expertly behind his back, blocking another creature’s claw before snapping down to slice away the extended hand. A krait sorceress’s unblinking eyes widened as she wove a thaumaturgic web of slaughter, and two of the sylvari died in her flame. Fiercely, Cadeyrn leapt[sic] toward her, his blade tearing through the krait’s flesh.

He left nothing behind but scale and scream.

When the krait were dead, Niamh and Cadeyrn stood in the center of the ruined chapel, blood on their blades and fierce smiles lighting their faces. A sound caught his attention, and he raised a hand for silence, slipping forward to the place where he had seen movement from above.

Cadeyrn tilted the altar aside, and the sound grew louder. Beneath the stone lay a cave, long ago flooded by the advance of the sea. There, in a sea-cavern below the ruins, krait lay in hiding, unperturbed by the icy waters. But these were not warriors. This was a hatchery, filled with krait eggs and terrified young.

He raised his sword to continue the extermination—

“Cadeyrn!” Niamh said sharply.

Cadeyrn paused, looking up at the leader of his Cycle in confusion.

“Leave them.”

“But…they are krait.”

“They are children.”

“Children.” He frowned, for the word had little meaning. “You mean ‘they are small.’ They are small, but they are krait. They will grow up to be large krait, and then we will kill them. Why not kill them now, when it is easy and they are undefended? It seems the wisest course of action. Otherwise, we risk losing more sylvari lives when these return fully grown.”

“We must take that risk, to give them a chance to change their ways,” the firstborn said. “All things have a right to grow. The blossom is brother to the weed.” Soberly, she put away her sword and pushed the altar back. Beneath it, Cadeyrn could hear the snakes scrambling, splashing away into the ocean tide.

“Again the firstborn quote the Tablet when I ask for logic.” He growled beneath his breath. “I do not agree.”
