I didn’t leave because I was too busy doing something about it like taking supply camps deep in the enemy territory, but what good is taking supply camps when Ehmry Bay didn’t have the zerg to take advantage of a undefended or lightly defended tower while the enemy zerg is moving towards the camp we just captured.

- Why do you think this will be “behind their backs” ?
The current tax rate should be be easily visible to all guild members. I see no reason why the rate should be hidden. I’m even willing to suggest that when the rate gets changed, every guild member gets mail saying so along with a warning period before the new rate goes into effect so they have time to leave the guild if the rate gets too high.- Why 1g every month ?
- How do you think the guild should keep track of who has paid and who hasn’t ?
What happens when a mistake gets made ?
If a guild can’t keep track of it, it is their problem.
With this implemented, it is intrusive to my playstyle, and I will never join a Guild.

As a warrior, I would rather wear a trenchcoat or robes while I am in town and out of combat. Who wear full metal armor everywhere in town? Many people would die doing that.
It can already be done because the preview panel shows that you can wear the armor.
This allows for town clothing to be used more often due to increased variety of town clothing. Which means Arena Net can profit more from selling gem-shop town clothings because of town clothing popularity.
It won’t be a disadvantage to sPvP because I am sure that sPvP people can’t wear town clothing, if so, remove town clothing option in sPvP.
In WvW, people using this will be in a major disadvantage since they can’t use their weapon skills in WvW. They would be a hindrance than an advantage if they try to use town clothing as a combat weapon.

I disagree until I see more variety of towns clothing in game that can be bought with gold. It would be disgusting to see hundred of players in the TP area looking exactly the same from their starter town clothing.
Also, it will be a major annoyance. I have swiftness on my warhorn to get me around the city faster. I would have to manually change town clothing to my combat clothes in order to use my skills.

Downed state isn’t the problem with WvW, it is far from it. You can actually use an invulnerability skill + stomp to take one person down or Invulnerability + quickness + swiftness + stomp for a stomp fest.
The problem is that players can res while their friends are in a defeated state. So if you did a 3 vs 30, even if your group can kill 10 players, the enemy can just res each other when in their defeated state

Why not use real money to buy Fine T-stones? They are in a cash shop for a reason.
If you don’t want to use real money, use ingame gold.
You can effectively lose all your basic t-stones by creating a new character and use the skin of a higher and more pretty level armor into the ugly low level armor that you can equip.

This is our intent.
Story Mode – Moderate difficulty for a randomly formed pick up group. Memorable moments of achievement and accomplishment when you and a group of strangers overcome a difficult encounter/boss.
Explorable Mode – Moderate difficulty for extremely organized and well versed players. Randomly formed pick up groups should find this content very difficult. Memorable moments of accomplishment and achievement when you defeat an exceptionally difficult boss/encounter.
I thought the intention was:
Story Mode – Extremely frustrating difficulty for a randomly formed pick up group. Memorable moments of getting poor loot.
Explorable Mode – Easy difficulty for randomly formed pick up groups. Randomly formed pick up groups should find this content too long and dull. Memorable moments of accomplishment of getting overused equipments.

Not a disaster but the greatest save I had ever done.
So a PuG of mine was doing AC explorable.
They all stood stupidly in front of the Howling king as he screams, not paying attention at the Howling King. All four of them dead, clustered next to each other and the Breeder they were trying to kill.
I dropped a Banner, all four of them rallied.

I use Full exotic knight gear and full knight trinkets with soldier runes(yes yes, Laugh at the healing shout noob).
I also have Power/toughness/vit armor stored.
I use mace/shield and Sword/warhorn. I also have a longbow for places that are anti-melee.
I am bored of my build and I need a new one. I just don’t feel like spontaneously changing gear but if it is a build that can help me gradually transit from the Knight gear to whatever gear your build that you suggest require, that is okay.

In that case,
Make sure their secondary weapons are Mace/sword.
This way, they use Counter attack/Ripotse -> Adrenaline rush to simulate a rifle warrior reloading his rifle.

I agree.
The armor itself isn’t symbolic anymore after the Order’s arc. After you get to level 80, all three orders becomes the Pact. You forget that you were a Vigil member, and then you start knowing that you are a Pact member. The armor itself is nothing but cool-looking armor.
If the Order’s story went to level 80, then I’ll have to disagree with the thread.

I suggest Knight Gear.
It gives you precision.
This is useful because it opens up a lot of sigils like Sigil of Blood which you can then get a chance to lifesteal on crit.

Wrong, you can tell the class based on there weapons/combat animations.

I will not do storymode dungeons unless it gives better rewards than Explorable dungeon.
Storymode dungeons take you throughout the entire map and have you kill bosses that are the same or more difficulty as explorable bosses. Explorable dungeon takes you part of the map and some explorable bosses are a zergfest.

It will encourage more people to report gold sellers. Instead of just blocking them.
The two steps process is very tedious when you have endless amount of bots everywhere. Over time, you would skip the report step and go straight to the block function.

We gear more to toughness and vitality because it is our only protection. We don’t have wards, aegis, and tons of defensive boons like the guardian, we don’t have mobility like the thieves, we don’t haves 20 spells to cover ourselves like the elementalists, we don’t have clones to tank for us like the Mesmers.
A Ranger can just shoot rapid fire at the warrior and have every arrow hit more times than any other classes that depends on their interesting mechanic. This makes a warrior in full berserker gear is more glassy than a thief. At least the thieves can prevent that damage. Warriors can only endure damage.

Valkyrie gear + Knight gear or even Soldier gear has power stats in it.
Also, 25k is not really high of a hp. I specced about 300-500 in Vitality from Runes and Tactics trait and I only got around 23k of hp.
Why would you want a warrior with high survivability? You want him because of the mace or hammer. It gives weakness on enemies that causes 50% to do glancing blows which does 50% damage on non-critical hit.
That + Hammer guardian means almost invulnerable couple.
Also, high survivability warriors are good ressers. They can endure plenty of hits so they can get you up.

I completely disagree that siege plan hoarding will give a massive advantage. They are in the bank, and not in the field. When it is in the field, siege weapons are useful.
I actually like this idea. It’ll cut down a lot of jump puzzle people that won’t help with the battle and take up queue time, and it forces people to actually help out their server if they are going to do jump puzzles.

Dragon needs to stay in the sky to coordinate the risen from a vantage point.
Not really. Look at the sky in the Strait of Devastation, you can clearly see dragons fighting the Pact’s airship fleet.

In my opinion, each order’s armor should be given as a reward during the personal storyline as you progress through your order’s personal story arc.
After you finish the order’s personal story arc, the three orders becomes one as the Pact. You soon forget that you were a part of the Vigil and you act as part of the Pact.
Then the armor is there to just look cool. It doesn’t become symbolic anymore like the Racial Cultural armor as you don’t magically change race. When I see a Vigil armor on someone, I just see someone with nice armor instead of seeing a Vigil member.
During Level 30-60, I want to feel like I am part of the Vigil until the Order’s arc is over. Yes, this means more people will be running around in Order’s armor. But to me, that is okay. During that time, I want to feel like I am seeing a fellow member of my order.
The rewards will be in Masterwork reward and soulbound. If players wants to get the skin again, they’ll buy from the Order’s vendor.

If there was a automated dungeon finder:
-I would leave the group after the first wipe. I will not bother with changing tactics. The group is bad.
-I would kick anyone that is not wearing full exotic and is under level 80. They do not contribute as much as a level 80 player can.
-I would kick anyone that needs to afk because of real life reasons, they’re wasting my time.
-I will kick anyone that dies. If they require me to go resurrect them, I will kick them because they are awful players.
Why would I do that? Because it is easier to get someone more competent.

-I’ll kick anyone for stopping to res me up because it’ll be a lot easier to get someone new. If he isn’t willing to sacrifice 1 silver to repair his armor to res me all the way, then he is a noob. Besides, it’ll be easy to get someone new.
-If I see anyone under level 80 or not wearing exotic running the dungeon, I will kick that person because they don’t contribute as much as a level 80 in exotic can.
-If they don’t know the dungeon, I will kick that person so that the automated system will get me a player that does know how to do the dungeon.
Without an automated system, it’ll be a pain in the kitten trying to find new members, so I have to do something with what I have.

Rampage is definitely useless.
But Signet of Rage and Banner are really the important ones.
Banner is very useful in ressing friends. Three of your friends downed? Use a banner.

Sorry runeblade, maybe you’re just doing it wrong.
I think the build I posted works great, and I think a lot of other people will agree if they try it out. You’re not gonna be mowing down enemies like you can with 100 Blades, but you’ll be killing them, and taking almost no damage. Then you also have survival in WvWvW that you can’t get with most builds, and also make yourself more desirable in parties because of your revive, heals, and crowd controls.
I’d say it has a lot of the bases covered. It isn’t the best, but I think it’s a great start.
3 seconds of reflection for 20-30 seconds cooldown.
It really isn’t reliable at all in PvE when mobs fire once every 4-5 seconds. If mobs uses rapidfire, missile deflection isn’t going to make much of a dent on their hp anyways. I only use Missile deflection for WvW because people like to go ranged more than melee and it actually has uses there.
I would prefer to put in Turtle’s defense because it helps more with survivability.
