yep agreed and the person that initially designed wvw should be back in charge. man did i love wvw before the masteries, before the bloodlust stuff, when they balanced wvw differently from everything else…. i ucouldnt wait to log in after work. now anet keeps putting ai in control and comes out with unbalanced stuff like the shield generator, the banners, the cc buffs, the stab changes…and then there is this hideous map…..

ugh i think wvw is over.

all the guild upgrades are horrible features for wvw and should be removed until its rebalanced. they are destroying wvw and honestly the reason why i barely log in these days is also that small guilds have to grind like crazy to even unlock one wvw upgrade….its stupid and the banners and all these gimmicks destroy wvw. gg

Because most of JQ players stopped playing due to HoT, and it takes a while for them to open a server after players stop playing.

this is pretty much the case for all servers.none plays since the new map. my entire guild quit and i changed servers in the hope to get a better oceanic presence, but oh well……. its dead

that’s anet thinking wvw needs. remember the peg leg disaster? perma cc with pve content. did anet learn? no. they think they are doing us a favor bi adding " amazing" new things, but they refuse to see that all these things are op in wvw.
what anet needs to do:

split wvw and spvp balance again
rework guild achievements and guild upgrades and remove banners
make guild upgrades easier to achieve for small guilds
remove all pve gimmick especially buffs
actually try to play real wvw
listen to the community
admit mistakes and roll back instead of trying to fix the issue for 19 patches!

eotm was the first pve map they put into wvw and it fails in so many ways…. it has the same issues like lack of waypoints, the fact u can barely catch up with the coimmanders and also it only looks populated because its a mix of servers and people hate the new map more than eotm so they go there for their daily fix of zergbattles.

Great idea, hope anet listens to players, but as we know best predictor of future is the past. If they keep with their new bls and unbalanced classes as well as cc changes they made, they will loose the rest of wvw population. I bet anet still dont realize that they actually had huge player base who only did wvw, and got revenue from in terms of gems, whelp thats mostly gone now.

yes, massive. omg we used to have entire teamspeak channels with multiple borderland channels all connected and made a whole plan on who defends which borderland at what time and who roams around and which guilds are playing when… all i played was wvw and i only played spvp to test out different builds after anet had the glorious idea to balance wvw and spvp the same way…..
lots of balance changes and the horrible gwen meta that came out of it, made many of os quit or only play casual, but worst was the lack of gvg support, guild halls and YES WE WANTED A NEW MAP.
anet listened only to some parts of it…the result is the disaster we have now.

1 desert borderland that is worse than eotm map which clearly was rejected by most of the hardcore wvw communities due to too many pve gimmicks and complex terrain.

2 we get guild halls that took everything we ever worked for as a smaller zergbusting guild and lock EVERYTHING behind a massive grind which needs pve. man we could barely unlock the stupid hall….

we got gvg support finally but but had that before in os(which was awesome with an arena and all

who ever they put in charge of wvw, this map, and the entire hot disaster, clearly wasnt part of wvw in the beginning. otherwise they would remember that any kind of invis mechanic is op( culling was horrible),that automated upgrades would make scouts useless, that the wps being uncontested for a few seconds is actually a feature that we have always used and that can actually help outnumbered defenders….

anet had gold with wvw and they turned it into kitten

First fix the lag it causes.

After that make it target one keep or tower of the winning side’s choice.

Then make it devastating. Every gate and wall regardless of level fully destroyed. Every piece of siege destroyed. Every upgrade(banners, tactics etc) destroyed. If someone wants to hold that objective, they’re going to need a defensive force in place to defend it and repair it.

So you basically want the Quaggans back.

heyy the quaggans were awesome !!! i prefer them over the bloodlust camp mess they put in the middle.

yeah sure gliding is EXAAAATLY what wvw needs. flying into keeps and towers, exploiting map areas and the amazing gliding ability that makes u invisible yay so on top of having parts of the map with invisible zergs, we will have FLYING invisible zergs….oooh cool, quick now lets get mounts too and flying dragons that attack the keeps for u ….

yeah the badge drop rate has been horrendous since hot rlease. badges did not need a nerf….. but hey anet logic….they also made acess to guild banners and buffs for wvw pretty much impossible for small guilds…..anet logic too…..we complained for about 1 year that culling was an issue in wvw and anet relaeases a map that has an area that makes an entire zerg invisible and a guild unlock for that aswelll….anet logic…..

and they are wondering why most people left…..yeah well THAT actually does make sense.

lol. i made a whole thread about it, but all white knights came out to argue! i knew it was too big, too complex, too jp like and way too much ai control and pve elements. when i saw the shrine buffs, i was like, isnt this just like eotm and istnt this the reasone people dont really like eotm elements. anet did not listen to the eotm feedback at all and created the map we have right now and its horrible for wvw.

we never cared about pve maps or pve events. in fact there is ha ton of bugs and threads about halloween events that prevented dolyaks and the stupid toxic mobs that contested towers and keeps. did they listen? nope!!! the made a map that matches the current pve map in maguma. all white knights kept telling me, nah it will be fine u just have to get used to it. yeah i tried and it still sucks! so op maybe inform uyourself before opening a new thread!

Anet is doing some balances mid January if I remember correctly which will help some of the big problems.

yep and on top of that, every time anet balances, they balance around spvp as they refuse to split the game mode which made wvw balance a disaster ever since they decided to use spvp balance in wvw.. thats why war was nearly unkillable in wvw, theives 1 shot everyone, mesmers were made useless(before patch that allowed them to actually use shatters without clones) rangers were a disaster until rapidfire buff….gwen meta was out of control and nowadays balance is still a joke. if u really want wvw balanced, split it form spvp balance like it used to be.

u simply cant balance a game mode that allows guild buffs, siege and food, that is all about massive groupfights and battles with a gamemode that has no foodbuffs little to no siege and is based on 1v1- 5v5 matchups.

wvw was way better balanced before anet decided to be lazy and not split wvw from spvp balance.

3 Alpine bls back, EBG same, EoTM same, and Desert Bl becomes their rumored Alliance system(somewhat like EoTM but for fights) my wish.

this would be a good solution so people that wanna play this terrible map, can play on this alliance war system and people that like the good old sandbox game type wvw, get their old maps/mechanics back until a new wvw map that is actually a wvw map and not a recycled pve map, comes out

Ok so I have been getting into it a bit more and it’s actually smaller once you are used to it. Run a few mesmers with Portal Entre, scout around the cliffs work out the math to run supply through areas that technically have no path. I feel this map is actually smaller than the old BLs and you can certainly get around it more quickly.

no matter how hard u try, the borderlands issue is not the size. its the map design flaw. like op said it seems like they had a pve map designer go hardcore on a wvw map and failed. the map is too complex and the whole vertical aspect of it, makes it massive and confusing. a wvw map should have been simple like the old map, but with better defendable keeps. and less wasted pve space.
i really liked being able to run back to a fight, cant do that now as there are little to no wp and all the pve gimmicks just make it unfun.
and actually the fact that u could treb garrison from the top towers gave it an urgency to try to get those towers back. stuff like this should have been considered, but a pve map designer would not understand that as he/she doesnt play that gamemode…

erm this is a bad idea. i know some of u hate blobs…well welcome to wvw since this game was released there were zergs.

you method will punish also small guilds. my old guild used to port all over and all the time to counter such zergs and u know what? if u are organized which many of the massive blobs arent as they are just 11111 spammers, u can easily 18 vs 40+ .

I run in zergbusting guilds only and blobs can be countered which is fun. i was always on the outnumbered servers and would transfer off if they were too stacked to get better fights.
blobs will always form in this gamemode, but destroying them over and over with a much smaller number is where the fun for me is. well wvw will always have zergs and no u dont need a massive blob to counter a massive blob.

So…wait…cata cost was a main complaint on this forum? Really? I think if we rank the complaints, it wouldn’t even hit the top 20 let alone be one of the top 5 that are being addressed. Sigh.

yeah i agree, but it was definitely a needed change. they also address the autoupgrades which was one of the top complains. top one for me still is the new borderland map, but i think they wanna try to fix the map instead of just giving us the old maps back. thing is though, map is not fixable as it is a design problem and result of not communicating properly with us.
after beta i knew right away that this map would not work.

now anet has to either bring back the old maps: which they might try to give a little overhaul like getting rid of skritt and centaur and other unused space and put towers there (NOT shrines!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

or anet will try to fix the desert borderlands…: which would need to be a lot more simplified and most of the eotm/pve elements have to be removed.

or they come out with a brand new map they will design by working closely with the community.

no rallying is great for zergbusting guilds. people used to get yelled at a lot if they died during a zergpush and rallied everyone.

getting rid of autoupgrades is good too. please also remnove the constant messages of who capped what. we have a map and scouts can open the map to see that there is a camp that was capped.
we also dont need to know on screen which guild capped it. otherwise the whole ninja capping many smaller guild used to love is pointless as EVERYONE on the map knows that your server capped a camp and your guild claimed it…..

could we get the old map rotated in sometimes? i really enjoyed being able to just walk with my map open and if i die have a chance at least to walk back to garrison…..

So let me get this straight, your complaining that the terrain in the new borderland maps is too much “PvE” because it’s harder to get around, and to get where you want to go? Also, your other complaint is about a boss, do you mean the LORD? I’m happy they made it harder, now it takes real tactics and knowledge to get around, and do well, unlike before where, it was just one big loop, and made it significantly easier for the ol’ Karma-choo-choo to get around.

i think u miss the point. the lord does not need to act like a pve dungeon boss as wvw is a game mode where the players are supposed to defend and not a raid boss that takes long to kill. most of us actually loved the fights in the lordsroom. those fights sometimes went on for hours and u know what that actually needed tactics…running in, timing banners, zergbusting , kiting, rushing, pushing and all that was great fun. killing a lord for 2-5 minutes that hits really hard is getting in the way of lordroom fights as it is all about his skills…
the terrain is a pain as it actually promotes zerging way more than before. also if u die u will not run back. who wants to run for 3 minutes to go back to a fight?
this map destroys zergbusting guilds as yes we do wipe, but with the old simple terrain at least we could run back and face that mapblob and didnt have to run for hours . if u miss the zergtrain u will have to wait or try to catch up which is annoying and always annoyed me about eotm.

op has played 200 hours in wvw and thinks wvw is too much pve. i have played around 3500 hours in wvw and yes its too much pve and the whole gamemode was made way less tactical and completely dumbed down with the hot changes and the new map as much as i tried to like them and wanted to make them work. they dont work at all for me and thats it. im done…other games that are more fun are out there atm. ill check back occasionally to see if something changed but for now im done

If it takes your zerg 30s to burn down the lord when exactly does the defenders get a chance to defend?

I thought that was the whole point of making towers/keeps bigger with more defense? Or was that not enough? Perhaps we should speed up the auto upgrade if people cant defend still. Oh heck lets just start them at T3.

Your question is really, if the lord goes down so fast how do we defend? Oh i dont know maybe scouts and respond before they get to the lord?

Come on now it is all the people who love the new map that tell us how fast and easy it is to get around on once you take the time to learn. I guess They have been lying to us all.

exactly. instead of karmatraining, people used to respond to scouts. my guild(s) used to be called over ts nonstop to go and help out at garrison or bay. and how people defend when lord is down?…..

New WvW borderlands too much pve.

I see some of you are die hard happy about the new changes. Yet somehow I don’t think you run with a guild of any size nor have spent much time in wvw. Last night the queue for EB was like 60 and I visited the borderlands couldn’t find any people or tags so I had to go back to ESO. Because although ESO has a really bad lag problem they do not have any population issues that this game has. I’m kinda stuck because ESO’s lag sometimes makes that game unplayable and the messed up borderlands are making this game sometimes unplayable. So say what you want but facts are facts. The borderlands are empty and EB is full.

Dunno what tier you’re in but I’m constantly fighting zergs on my BL in prime hours and havoc groups in off hours. I can’t remember the last time it was empty…had to have been weeks ago.

Some people complain, some like them, but in the end they still come.

I guess I would ask what tier You are on as well. I’m in tier 2 on FA. Let me give you two examples of our prime time adventures in different BLs. One night we spent 2 hours flipping everything in our bl, and about 75% of an enemy bl. You know how many players we saw? Once we saw about 10 show up to do the laser event. So 2 hours one group of 10.

On the second night we flipped around 50 percent of our bl and then in the hopes of drawing people out we map hoped taking the 3 keeps on each of the other BLs, some of them more then once. Since the servers would simply wait for us to leave then cap thier stuff again. In those 2 hours we saw one group of 20ish try to defend fire keep, once. And from time to time we would run to defend our bl keeps hoping for a fight to find 2 people on a gate with a ram. So 2 hours one group in of 20ish.

Right now in my experiences, except for reset night, the BLs are for people who want to karma train. They get a little Zerg together and karma train away. Dodging fights and Killing doors where they can. Which is usually everything, since no one is there.

exactly what i experienced. its just like eotm karmatrains but a little worse, because the new maps are so complex and with so many gimmicks, an entire zerg can just run past u without u noticing. and of course everyone dodges fights, cause who wants to die and have to run back for like 3 minutes and when finally catching up, if not ganked, misses all the caps or the zerg ports back to spawn or another bl…
with the old maps we could at least run back, even if garri was contested. i really liked the fights as i was running with zergbusting guilds(13-20 people). no waypoints, massive maps, pve gimmicks, too many pve mobs, renders a zergbusting group quiet useless as the mobs will mass rally the enemy and if a few of us die, there is no way they will make it back to us in time to be of any use….
its not about getting used to new things, its just not fun anymore if the whole game mode is dumbed down and noone there to fight, but brainless pve karmatrainees…
unless we get the old maps or something similar back, i think most of us will stick to eb and avoid this disaster of a map!

yes id rather have the good old wvw back including the quaggan lake and the old siege mechanics than this messy guildhall gated, dumbed down version of wvw that is no fun. back then i couldnt wait to log in and go zergbusting with my mesmer guild AVTR. we’d spent hours defending keeps and towers and it was endless fun. now its so boring i log in and spend 5 minutes staring at mi character and then logging off to play something else…

no. i was a returning player too. i quit originally cause of the terrible GWEN only meta and then after some balance changes i started playing again and was actually kinda excited for the new specialisations etc…well, i beta tested the map, hated it, hot came out and i grinded all my classes sspecialisations and entered wvw….well even eb is not doing it for me anymore. its all dumbed down and the entire sandbox aspect of the game was taken away by either ai, autoupgrades, pve elements or automated messages that tell u when something gets capped or its all locked behind the massive wall of guild halls that rendered about 90% of guilds out there useless cause we cant unlock absolutely nothing at all.

u cant get any of the previous upgrade in wvw anymore and all hard work put in by smaller/zergbuster guilds is useless as we are starting from scratch… we barely managed to get the guildhall its self and now we have to collect flax seeds and stupid other things just to get even started….

on top of that the new map are complex, massive, vertical, pve driven pve maps with weird jumping puzzle elements, a giant lazer event that lags the entire map out and dumbe shrines that give stupid overpowered buffs and there are even invisible zerg passages…….i mean seriously after all this time and all the issues in the beginning of wvw with culling, we got now a map that makes a zerg invisible at a certain point…..

i really wanted to get my wvw fix again, but anet has ruined this game mode beyond repair unless they turn it back into the game mode it used to be, with real practical wvw maps and fair guildhalls and upgrades…well thats at least my point of view. i barely log in in as its just not fun anymore.

anyone else really scarred when they hear MAYOR WVW OVERHAUL? i am…..

anet probably thinks that they are doing the right things, but honestly just the most recent change of the waypoints not going uncontested anymore shows clearly that they have absolutely 0 clue about what maked wvw fun. i think they have never really been in a real wvw fight for garrison for example where 2 servers have all walls and gates down and the defenders that are outmanned keep rushing in and trying to rez the lord and then boom upgrade finished because 10 people managed to get a dolyak in…now that was fun!!

automated upgrades= dumbing wvw down= boring

little to no waypoints= less ways to defend real fast= less opportunities for zergbusting guilds= less defending and more zerging…also i cant be bothered to walk 2 – 5 minutes every single time i die just so i can go back to the fight and help defend or attack…

waypoints dont go uncontested= promotes perma trolling of thieves and others= saaaaame issues as above, the timer countdown was actually used strategically.

i could go on and on and on with a massive list of things that mad wvw boring lately, but im tired of it. anet turned the mode that used to be a massive battle field and a ton of fun because of the sandbox element this simple maps had into a pve driven circus for dummies cause everything that needed brain and great scouting and all that was dumbed down or completely destroyed .

massive overhaul sounds to me more like more pve, more complex weird elements, no sandbox element, no massive battles anymore , more stupid shirnes and pve buffs and more pve mobs to rally entire zergas and more guildhall upgrades that only massive guilds can accomplish and smaller guilds will be crippled for ever….. yeah no thanks anet. ill pass on that and move on…..

i remeber a friend of mine and his guild had a great layout about how a new map should have looked like and they did bring some of these ideas to the forums way back. its pretty sad that the people behind this new map took 0 % from our suggestions and also seemed to not know what wvw is all about.

a wvw player would know that invisible zergs are terrible, remember culling? u know a anet the thing that took u 1 year to fix? yeah that culling….and we were all so happy when culling was gone and now u seem to have forgotten and bring back invisible zergs……. 0.o

i did like the idea of mastery, but again only looks great on paper….

u did bring out eotm and we all hated it and the feedback was very very clear and the tendency that noone ever defends in eotm aswell. did u listen anet? no i made a map even more complex and all u seemed to have in mind is breaking up zergs which is athe wrong way as i dont even wanna bother running down south to defend…. and wvw was and always will be a gamemode with zergs. i run in a zergbusting group around and i love fighting the blobs!
its all gone!

Honestly I enjoy the New BL’s they are big but once you get use to the map they aren’t as bad..

erm, no. if i dont like something i will not get used to it. I genuinely tried it, went everywhere and no i hated it!

Everyone’s default is EBG cause they know the map and are comfy with it.
Like someone else posted we played the same maps for 3 years, we got comfy we got lazy and when things got changed everyone QQ’s about it.

again no, i used to avaoid eb with my old guild and we focused on protecting and ninja capping in the old borderlands.

or all of us OLD SCHOOL players, then center PvE event, reminds me of the ORBS that in the BL’s you had to get and take back to your base.. The events only happen so often so really can’t complain to much about it.

u are compareing an event where the players had to go inside a keep, grab an orb and protect the guy carrying the orb to your base while the other 2 servers will try to attack u, with an event where u kill a few pve mobs and collect some unimportant stuff, give it to npc to trigger a lazer event…

i had some of the most awesome fights over these orbs and the only reason they are not there, is hackers, exploits and the fact that the orbs gave dominating servers too many buffs…(reminds me of shrine buffs…isnt that a coincidence?)

Anet should just shut down EBG for weeks and thus make ppl go to the BL’s but i know ppl will QQ about it and end up just not WvW’in then suck it up and learn something new and move to the BL’s.

u know even if u took eb away, the maps will still be empty as noone will go to wvw anymore. and this kinda tactics is the wrong way to deal with this issue. we dont need conditioning, we need understanding and support. this kinda methosd would be the same like taking a vegetarians vegetables away and force him to like meat because there are no more veggies… u think thats a great strategy?

Only takes a few guilds on each server to stop going to EBG and feeding the Map Blobs and cap the BL’s to maybe draw the attention to the other maps..

In short, stop “WvW’in” in EoTM and boycott EBG for a few weeks and play the BL’s. Get use to them, learn them, and you will love them.

EBG is just for server blobs and ruins wvw, so try something different..

ok we get it u hate ebg. u know eb is also a place for zergbusting guilds like my guild and we had some of the most epic encounters there. and we are not a blob, we usually ran with around 15 people, same with my old mesmer guild AVTR where we sould run with small numbers and destroy zergs.
ebg is not the issue and before hot, the borderlands were only dead because of stale gwen meta, stale matchups and the bad balance and terrible siege changes and masteries ….(thats at least why most of the guilds i know didnt play regularly anymore, im sure there are other reasons)

aaand it creates extra lag too. yay go anet!great change along with the partymember changes where i cant see teammates if i dont open the map…very useful in pvp.

Are you referring to the “kill 50 krait” daily?

I think it was “50 (or was it 25? 20? can’t remember) underwaterkills” ^^

I loved that lake and the quaggans. Collecting pearls gave me something to do while keeping an eye on my borderland

haha yeah when i used to scout garri watergate thats all i did, getting pearls and killing kraits, but at least i enjoyed scouting.
we also had bot zergs at the skritt and the very south in that little lake there…. i did enjoy killing pve bots but it gets old.

nah there were no dailies when the krait farm zergs were around. its was pve bots. thats how we used to farm badges…..kill the bots, but they lagged out the entire map and messed with the outmanned buff and the map cap

Maybe the devs are hiding from the WvW forums due to the intense backlash, verbally abusive, extreme saltiness and nasty, unhelpful, non-constructive feedback players seem to be giving them.

Which would be mostly due to the game-breaking destruction of the gameplay mode we all love and unhelpful, non-constructive silence of developer neglect.

People will always complain about how something isnt perfect according to them, but at least developers should strive to always improve their game overall. WvW is not better now than it was a month ago. Quite the opposite. The new map is broken, the autoupgrades is a failure and the cost for guild upgrades in WvW is absolutely ridiculous.

this very much. also we did tell them at beta that this map was very bad for wvw and that there was too much pve in there. even at beta map got boring. did they listen? no. they wanted to force this map through and it backfired

Let me explain why I say ignorant and elitist.

These are the people saying the middle event is mindless PvE that ruins it and that is too much PvE.

However they fail to bother realising that the entire game is a lot more PvE. Think about it, how do you take a tower with no-one there? Ram door down, kill the NPCs and stand in the circle. This is a lot more PvE than that event in the middle as you’re actually fighting NPCs as opposed to fighting other players to turn in a maguffin to what could even be just a basket.

That’s without touching on the silliness of saying it contains a collect and turn in event making it PvE. It’s like saying conquest has capture circles which are in PvE and so its PvE.

I think u really dont get the wvw main playerbase.here is a little bit of my experiance:

wvw has always been a kinda sandbox battle game mode where the players would shape the way the battles went. we used to have a lake in the middle and a quaggan event which was later removed as the quaggans and the kraits as pve farmbots would mess with the mapcap and send entire farmzergs to the lakes in the bls…..(a reason why rewards should never be high in wvw)

later on the thieves and mesmers started to contest keeps by tagging it and it was a legit strategy to prevent the zergs from reaching bay/hills in time.
yaks were killed over and over in order to prevent upgrades which was also a legit strategy.

there were scouts upgrading and sieging keeps and towers up and also escorting dolyaks. ( i did spend a lot of time watching over critical areas where enemy used to golemrush like garrison watergate or hills southgate.

also before i got into zergbusting, i was running in a small guild and when we were tag-less we would ninja keeps and towers and it was fun…

.ive been part of epic fights where the 2 other servers kept trying to take our keep and they kept attacking wave after wave and poof all of the sudden the keep upgraded because someone managed to get that 1 dolyak in…

wvw is…well was fun because it was us who made the rules, not a pve mob, not a laser, not a shrine, not a pve buff and not the keeplord.
now the keep lords are behaving like pve champions and are more in charge than the actual player.
there are automated upgrades which ruin the whole scouting experience.

the keeps and towers dont look like actual structures that i would even bother to defend. i mean garrison hiills and bay all looked like keeps that could function sorta. the towers did need a little overhaul but now they are like ruined structures and not real towers. also why even bother sieging it up or defending…. ai does it all for u and ai traps and sandstorms and shrinebuffs and then there is the laser event …..thats why eotm never worked as a wvw map.

too much pve gimmicks like shrinebuffs and keeplords that are hard to kill.

a nd then the map is way too complex.

its just not wvw…

no in wvw its even worse. i have to open the map and zoom aaaaaaaaaallll the way out to eventually find my party members…aaaaand im dead cause runnign with an open map is not a good thing in wvw.
can we have the old way of displaying party memebers again or is that also a new mastery i need to kitten unlock?

They should switch out EB to the new borderland map and bring back the old homeborders imo.

no eb is still a fun map the new map has to go from wvw . just put it back to the old wvw maps and system, the new map does not and will never work as a wvw map

yeah i support this. i really tried to like the map, but i get lost and its too vertical and too complex and simply not a wvw map. autoupgrades also hurt wvw way more than they help. please anet, revert….

i agree. the map looks great and im sure lots of hard work went into it. does it make wvw a fun place? no.

i play wvw because it is a sandbox kinda game mode. the player builds the siege and upgrades and escorts dolys and the player can either go patrol, defend or simply hunt down enemies.
for me it used to be fun and i couldnt wait to log in after work. i play wvw for the fights and zergbusting, but i have also spent hours scouting and watching over garrison watergate or refreshing siege and also defending vs golem rushes.

but the new map is too complex and not good for fights at all. seems more like a leftover from silverwaste and maguma pve map than a wvw map. its not working and i doubt u can fix it.
i’d recommend to put the old maps back in and try to make a new map that is simple, no pve and real keeps like in keeps that could be functional. also reduce pretty things like asura platforms etc as the particle effects lag the entire map out…

it is lagging everything out. i have experienced it and it wasbad. its also the particle effects everywhere on the keeps and then all the pve mobs that make lage even worse.the map is just not good for wvw battles and pve mobs and pve features. its all nice to look at but horribvle for wvw lag. thats why wvw maps should have been kept simple with very little pve like features
