ok i wanna say ty for anet to get rid of the useless lake and the new content looks very pretty.but the way it is working is not really fitting for wvw. it s more like a larger spvp map. also the stats will give the dominating servers the godmode status and the thing about stomping is just ridiculous.
now u can take your 60 man zerg, go cap the middle and farm everyone while getting a ton of points and even if they wipe one part of your massive groups u wont get points for stomping, because th massive zerg has 3 blodlust and u got none. and then they have way better stats than u…….

yeah i very very much agree with this. i do like the maps now. they eem to be carefully designed and a fun little plygrounds with lots of hiding spots and little fields for nice battles.
but being on the server with the lowest coverage, it is a pain if the outnumbering enemy gets that much stronger.

it makes the dominating servs wayyyyyyyy too powerful. and the whole stomping thing makes ppt even worse.

i like the new look and design, but dat buff is horrible and noone wants to stand in a circle fore hours and then get run over by 9 people over and over.

why would u want your money back? u wanted to use an op unbalanced rune, so that is the risk. my class actually benefits from it regardless as my class is actually a confusion class and not an interruption spammer that abuses this rune. im sure anet didnt intend to give every class with interrupts in the game more viable confusion than the actual confusion class, mesmer. otherwise i’d like to have a warriors healing signet rune, so i can heal the same way or even better than a warrior, or a deathshroud rune.

yeah those cappoints switch like crazy and are like spvp on steroids, with the difference that the server with the bigger numbers gets extra super buffs. and they do need it soo badly as winning by almost 80000 is not enough.

the problem is that now we have to stand in a stupid point forever until the the tpvp players for the other zerg comes and destroys u. and then they get points for stumping because they have bloodlust. this is not fair for the losing server that is outmanned most of the time
u wanna bring stupid spvp in, well the fun gets zerged to death and then u make your team lose even more because of the stomping.
dont get me wrong the maps are nice, but this whole think about having to stay n the circle and wait tik 9 people run u over is not balanced at all

all classes in this game are designed to have something they are good in and for this they have some weakness

like
guardian good bunker – low dmg
engineer good knockbacks – no stability
mesmer good tools – bad vs condis
thief good dmg escapes – squishi
……..
warrior before all this buffs best damage ingame but no stustain so he cant stay infight forever to bring this op damage constant on his target
warrior before was designed to go in and burst and go out – needed some slight adjustments here and their but was NEVER bad

NOW
they got buffed in everything
they can be best bunker ingame – even with berserker they live longer than a bunker guardian
they have invul utiliti + condi imun
they have tons stability
they can stunlock targets forever
they have with some weapons best mobility ingame
they have livereg higher than some classes can do damage

AND all this compared with their op damage they have since release

so seriously – whats the goal with this class?

it hardcounters atm rangerz, engineers, mesmer, necros and somehow ele

and on top – they even wanna buff this class more with next balancing patch

i dont get it

guardian/ best bunker/ can do good damage if specced
engi no stability but have amazing stun protection while disable you do close to no damage to it.
mesmer amazing damage, range damage, damage avoidance(for avoiding condition attack as well) and clones
thief amazing damage, spammable amazing damage, if you think that evade spam is squishy then i don’t know how you play it.

warrior damage can’t not compare to the two above, sucks at range, 130 range not spammable attacks, no AI aid, no teleport, no stealth, no invulnerability.

oh did i mention all the damage nerf in the past months? i guess you didn’t give a eff about those, did you.

you basically paid no attention to warrior and just assume that they buffed everything and your false statements show how ignorant you are

erm guardians have to choose between tanking anddps actually. they unker only this well, because they dont deal that much dmg.

a warrior doesnt need ai at all. u have massive c, massive dps, massive toughness, and oh dont forget your healing that is soooo well balanced

and u guys laugh at 3 people having a hard time to kill a warior? well in spvp maybe. in wvw this is out of control, but people like to defend their op builds. so if u think u are sooo balanced. jump on a mesmer, go fight in a zerg. go on an ele and go spvp, jump on your guardian and be sooo sucessful in wvw like u stated here.

i meant this not to insult u. i made that comment as wvw players are equally kitten ed that we gotta do pve to get stuff. it is stupid to havea pve player on a pvp map, where u get ganked like every 5 minutes. but we are frustrated that we need to go pve for a legendary and ascended……..
well why dont u log into the maps u still need and check if u see a commander icon on the map. carrie something that either stealths u or gives u swifness to outrun gankers then just follow the commander and see if he can cap these points. our commanders are sometimes very nice to people that ask them if they could tag along.
if your server is doing good then find its strongest time, log in and run with the commander. if they are not that kind of commanders, find the roamers. they will run the entire map and are good fighters.

im getting a pretty bad lag spike whenever skills with smoke and a lot of aoe hit a target. its lag lag lag and then fast speed back to normal when the smoke and smoke based skills wear off

Increasing base HP for ele is more valid than it seems. Initially, the ele was designed and advertised as a profession of destruction, but anet has eventually settled it as a jack-of-all-trades, probably due to the nature of the attunement system. For this reason, they could very well get jack-of-all-trades levels of HP, like engineer or ranger have/ are.

Of course, this would make HP distribution across professions a bit uneven. Each spellcasting class has different levels of HP. Although the same doesn’t applies to adventurer classes (both engie and ranger have same hp/ armor), so why not for ele sharing mesmer’s hp/ armor stats?

In fact, I think it would make more sense for a mesmer’s hp to get switched with ele’s. Sorry, Mesmer fans, I don’t really want to suggest nerfs to you! But if we think about it, mesmers, much like thieves, have build in defenses (clones, and a bit of stealth). The AI will attack clones often, and clones + stealth + tab targetting is strong versus players. That’s why mesmers, like thieves, are the two professions that can most afford using berserker gear in pvp. Not only that, but mesmer’s passive playstyle makes it a bit too easy to play, so less HP would make them a bit harder to master. But I understand that they are not really top-meta right now, so this nerf is probably unfair.

Another possibility, is to shorten the HP gap between professions. Give 13k base hp to eles/ thieves/ guardians. But maybe it would break the other two professions? At the very least the Guardian?

The problem with ele’s HP is also the skills, which in theory should justify it, but in practise does not. Most of ele’s survival comes from traits. Vigor, protection when swapping to earth, and regeneration/ healing/ condition removal/ on swapping to water and dodging while in water. When it comes to skills, a non-water/ arcana ele can’t stack enough heals, nor do they have enough protection available on earth (not talking about the boon, but that one is also missing). Most of their earth skills revolve around short-term disruption, bleeding, or cripple, which is fine, but it lacks serious defensive skills, with the exception of focus.

This is the perfect opportunity to emphasize my suggestions for a healing frost fan in the frost bow, an healing signet of water, and I would go further and suggest serious defensive traits for their earth traitline. This would give eles more sources to stack defense/ healing without relying on water/ arcana traits so much.

Air and fire traits also need more defense. An auto-cleasing flames in fire, vigor in fire, blind and weakness in air, etc.

EDIT: And please, switch fire’s condition duration with earth’s condition damage. It just makes more sense this way. Many burning effects only last 1s, which makes duration underwhelming, and many conditions are available in earth’s skills or traits. Besides, burning is ele’s main source of condition damage, not bleeding. Swapping those two would be a nice buff to both traitlines, without being overpowered, broken or anything. The current stat placement has little synergy, ad that’s also bland and unfun. And if devs’ intention is for players to make specific trait combos… well, they would still do it. A condi-ele would probably still want both.

i trade u my hp, for your aoe abilities. u can have my ai and i get your viability in wvw zergs. ill give u my moa elite for your swiftness. ;-)

People should stop telling others what to do. They paid the same for gw2 as you. Not following is always a option or join a squad if you don’t want to see the tag. Also i wouldn’t mind that instead of commander costing 100g it could be 100g deposit. The current system is really not alt friendly.
A lot of people use commander tag to just organize their guild in pve.
This change with all the elitist wvw guilds would do more harm than good.
For-example i built one golem in bay. Then everyone in this wvw guild were telling me to leave the golem, 30-40 different people pming me for me to get lost. Some of them were pretty bad. And this is after i pay 100BoH on a golem that i wanted to drive. I ended up just destroying it myself i didn’t want these guys to use it.

So you wasted 100 supply just so you could toy around with a golem for a while?

I was going to use it but it was the attitude that bothered me.

dude wvw is a team based game and u gotta see that every bit of supply can be important. toying around in agolem is seen as trolling and spying. and acting like a child because someone tells u not to fool around by destroying it, has no place in a competitive environment.
commanders wanna protect and cap objectives, so its very understandable that they are demanding. our commanders will yell at u too as we are actually serious about this. with the supply of that 1 golem u could have built 4 guild catas to take an entire keep, 3 flamerams, 2 supperior flamerams, 1 treb, 3 ac’s, 2 ballistas or simply have taken a tower or even unguarded keep. so yeah i would have yelled at u too. we had people kicked out from guilds due to siege griefing issues.
u could have fun joining a roaming group or a havoc team if u dont like following the commander. my guild for example doesnt zerg and we can cap a ton of objectives. 5 people ninjad smc from a tier 1 server with 2 golems we built.

and i bet u took the supply from the keep. also taking it from a camp is 100 supply less for the groups that are actively pushing objectives.
wvw is not a playground unless u have a decent ppt and if u wanna roam(…or during tc’s dolyakparade XD)

Season 1 is going forward as we described, however nothing about future seasons is set in stone. We’ll take a look at the data we get from the first season and will absolutely make adjustments so that future seasons are even better than the first one.

My concern with four leagues is simply that there isn’t enough variety at that point. I could very well be wrong, but we are going to try season 1 this way and then we’ll take a look at how it played out.

sor is gonna win. they have queues 24/7 60 man zergs everywhere any time! fa faced 2 t1 servers and i gotta say as much as we all put effort and sleepless nights into it there is like no way to compete.

60? There is no way no how sor only has 60 in those blobs. It’s likely up for grabs for any of the top 3 though (BG is actually rank 1 atm, not SoR). Really just depends on how many times they match the top 3 against each other (and in what combinations), since your league ranking is based on match wins/losses rather than rating gains/losses. So if 2 of the top 3 get matched against each other repeatedly and trade off wins because the matches are close, and the other gets fed, the one being fed low rank servers is going to win

i dont see how it can be fun to be in t1 with that terrible skilllag and 2hour queues…im glas we only had to face it once so far. i would transfer out if i had to face that kind of lag every day.
last week when fa faced bg and jq, we were stuck in smc unable to kill eachother, just kiting in circles and hoping to get 1 skill to work…..

And yet out of all of that, the only things holding mesmer back are really S/D thieves being a bit too strong and necros being a bit too strong. We could buff mesmers to OP status (again), or we could just shave the tiny details holding them back.

honestly u are talking about 2 builds that are very strong in 1v1 1v2 and i wouldnt mind those to be toned down if anet would give us more teambased skills that are not support only. less veilbot/twbot/less massinvis bot… more glamlike attacks.less ai, more actual weapon dps and also less rng boons/conditions. im also happy to give up moa!

in spvp i think i agree with u. im trying out a ton of builds in spvp and seem to enjoy a few of them.in wvw we are not though unless u wanna be support or roaming. smae for tpvp. we lack a lot of multitarget options.

The main reason mesmer hasn’t really been buffed is just that in one aspect of the game we are great and that is in 20 man sPvP…. and noone that actually gives a rip about class balance cares about hotjoin hero status…. We care about how we can meaningfully help a team in tPvP, what we can do for a zerg in WvW aside from veil/portal botting, and if we can finally have a decent viable support bunker build. Anet’s statement about wanting to bring more supporty play styles to the front is what marked this post. And things in the OP are some things that Anet should do if they really want mesmer to be both supporty and viable…. Right now we can effectively do neither.

agree with u. the points u brought up in your op are good points. i used to be interested in mantras, but atm the way they are implemented atm it is quite hard to use in the current spammeta. if an enemy puts pressure on u and u run out of charges, there is very little u can do. i tried mantras vs the tornado boss in queens gaunlet as i was lacking stability and it was a pain!!!
also the condition cleansing is a problem for us as our cleansings are on long cooldowns.maybe that mantra buff will bring some improvements. but mesmer needs to get an option to move away from duelist only speccs.

yep very much. tpvp and wvw zvz fights are soooo different.in spvp u have no food, no siege, not people mass stacking might/retal/ regen , u dont have mass conditionspam, mass cc, mass condition cleansing, mass aoe form 25-60 people.

1v1 based classes are having a hard time in wvw, but spvp prevents them from getting buffs as they do well in spvp.meanwhile warriors are getting buffed into oblivion as they need it in spvp.this has to change its getting out of hand.

i dont like that anet is slowly moving mesmers into support. in wvw we are already that. spvp i find a few builds that still work. the typical phantasm build is nothing i like. too ranged and burst only is not as much fun.
i use blackwater atm and it seems to work alright.
a lot of thta stuff doesnt work in wvw and we are stuck watching the big zergfight from the sideline after we put our veil down for the warriors.
we are stuck as a 1v1 class.

agree with u. spvp balance is to blame. we are officially stuck as a class. we are duelists only. spvp mesmers do well and that prevents us from getting anything..

Mesmer is considered already by all top tPvP player as unviable.

UNVIABLE in 5v5…lol…I mean WTF ??? And then come your second sentence:

all we will get is spvp passive and support utilities unless they nerf the mesmer to the ground in spvp and then finally give us something we can use in wvw. it is sooo frustrating.

That woulb be the logic. But in reality and as I just said….mesmers are already underdogs of sPvP and what we face is buff to 40% population: warrior.

Our major tools to do something in wvw have been remove one by one:
Confusion: nerf down to hell
Blured fenzy: to avoid now at all cost on a retal zerg (you will just die from yourselves).

yeah the blurred frenzy nerf was abig one as zerg retal eats u alive. in spvp i seem to have a little more viability since i swiched to blackwater mesmer.

the glam nerf took away a lot from us in wvw and it was too much. also i know a lot of mesmer that used the immortal build in roaming and zergs. and that one has been nerfed to the ground aswell. what im saying is not that i think we are terrible, but while almost all other classes received buffs, anet gutted our most used builds in wvw. and now we havent gotten much back to fight in zergs.
triforce is a great for survival, and anyone using a bow is gonna get hit very very hard, but we are in a warrior meta atm and they dont use bows.
lets say we run with a group of 10 mesmers into a 10 warrior train….ouch!
also ive seen nome pretty nasty power necro builds out there where the autoattack hits u for almost 3k.
its jusy a litle frustrating atm as i really hope we get something back that damaged zergs or getting some of our glam back.

Mantra Viability - Let's Theorycraft!

These buffs of mantras are quite interresting and open new way to be a part of zerg. At first i was disapointed by this news, but after a moment i think we cant do something with that.
I wish we had an access to combo ( beginner or finisher perhaps on mantra of resolve), and a way to charge mantra easier for those who ll play with 2 or 3 mantra at the same time. (perhaps cast 2 mantras in a raw, or a buff on trait protect mantras 2-20%// cast -30% cast). But i m certainly a dreamer^^…
@ Selan even if you turn around your zerg it s too dangerous to play berserker imo.

thats why i dont play zerker in wvw. so we are stuck as a roaming support veilbot in wvw. thats what upsets me. i hope anet destroys a lot of the 1v1 things in wvw, so we can at least get something for wvw…..

so boring. i aint gonna log in. 1 week in t1 as a t2 server is enough! 60 man zergs everywhere and 1 sever capping the entire map within 10-15minutes. even with a million of siege in garri u cant hold it vs 60 people if u only have 15-25 on atm.

@selan: I definitely see your point but its no so much being forced into a role as much as its playing to your strengths. Mesmer by design are better for smaller engagements, and few if any classes can confidently face us 1v1.. Thats the tradeoff. We make some ofbthe best scouts, best small group combatants, best support and thus falter in combat effectiveness in a giant zerg. Mes pros and cons and all, glam still works for snagging bags (and you COULD go glam/support for bags + team utility) but at the end of the day big army clashes are best left to soldiers, archers, and classical mages like Eles/Necros. Infiltration specialists like Mes and Thief? Not so much.

i get this chaos, but guardian is the better support atm. and for me it is a pain since glam was nerfed to nothingness. i would rather give up all the duelist crap in wvw and all the roaming stuff for viable zvz build.
why do we have to be a 1v1 class only? why cant i at least have the option to be part of the zerg fighters? why do i have to be a kitten warrior if i wanna fight in zergs? why im i forever stuck as a stupid roamer because my classe is duelist only? why cant almost all other classes be part of it?even thieves can run in zergs and pick a victim, down it and then run. thats not ok balancewise!

Mesmer’s contribute utility skills (portal,veil, etc.), DPS, boons, ranged and close up attack capability, fire and forget phantasms for PvD (so you can launch a phantasm at a door and go stand sentry doing two jobs at once), AOE healing, ability to roam and scout on par with Rangers and thieves, with the coming changes we will also have AOE condition clear and AOE stability, crowd control through focus 4 (one of only two pulls in the game) and GS 5, swiftness to anyone who crosses the focus 4 line.

I can’t think of any other class, other than guardians, who provide as much to a zerg.

erm aoe healing:support

aoe condition cleanse:supportnecro, guardian,necro2

veil:support (unless u are a glamour mesmer)

tw:support
portal: support (unless glamour build)

aoe stability: support: (yay 2 sec is like sooo much)
guardian,
guardian2

dps: only certain builds are ok, but require for u to stay far far in the back as u are pure glass

roaming=spvp builds which i have a ton to choose from

focus 4: i use it all the time but the warrior meta has a lot of stability

clones: often die in a zerg before they actually shatter
phantasm: get initial burst off which is good, but die very very quickly

the thing is that if u wanna support u might wanna go guardian or ele
we only separate from other classes with portal/veil and tw
rangers can attack a gate aswell while checking sentry
just look closely next zerg fight and try to count the mesmers. i meet like 1-2 in a zerg of 30-40 atm. all u see is warriors/necros/guardians.

now, im not saying we got nothing, but all the other classes(apart from ranger and thief) have gotten buffs that help in wvw. now warriors get their shouts buffed. we get a ton of nerfs and then a few support buffs, while the meta in wvw is slowly becoming a pain(not the roaming kind i mean 30v30 stuff)

the mantra is great and all, but not enough for us to keep up with the other classes. look at the scepter autoattack the necro has, lock at his condition buffs, luck at the cc spam warriors, look at the retal/boon guardians have, staffeles get buffed…etc…and we get a mantra……….

aoe stability 2seconds yay….

Out of curiosity, what do Thieves contribute to a big zerg?

I think by design we excel much better in small group/roaming scenarios rather than large mobs. Let the soldiers clash in battle, its just not really our style.

However, like Alissah stated we can definitely find roles in a zerg. All of our glamours are still zerg-friendly (and still can do damage, just not as much) and we excel in support role… And yeah, you can still roll all ’Zerkers and dish out boons/heals/damage.

As for healing via Phantasmal Regen, we have plenty of other sources of Regeneration (Not including Superior Runes of Dwayna), its the combination of all the regen we can stack (easily 30+ seconds, or 9000+ HP if running a healer-spec) from Chaos Armor, Phantasms, taking damage, and Signet of Inspiration procs that make it so that our Mantra heals + Regen are pumping out 11k heals in 10 secs… Without blowing skills/endurance like Eles, Guardians, and Engineers.

Also, if there WERE more support Mesmer in a zerg (like 3 or 4) then you’d see a more significant impact. One support player can only do so much for 30 people.. But if you have 1 support for every 5 players, then a group of 20 could be kitten near invincible with 5 well-placed healer/support.

Someone PM’d me with a Zerg-centric modification of the Chaos Maestro. 0/20/20/30/0 for Deceptive Evasion and Shattered Conditions. Combined with null field, they offer great condition removal, nearly all boons, and burst heals in AoE at the cost of Warden’s Feedback (not really too necessary for zergs.) and Prismatic Understanding.. And they still could’ve done all that while wearing full Zerkers.

well chaos, u are right about the thief, but they can still go pick a straggeler and run away without dying.
now u like support and thats fine. i personally dislike it a lot. i dont wanna be the oe helping the op warriors to get the lootbags. i wanna rank up, i wanna get loot, i wanna get titels, like everyone else! glam in its current form even with perplexity is still nothing even close to what other classes can do that have more hp, more toughness, more cleansing and way more condition dmg.
we are stuck as spvp duelists and stuck as support wvw class which should b a choice and not the only option left

Yeah right. So following your logic we should just give some random class a one shot kill skill cause you can still dodge them anyway so that wouldn’t make it OP.

This has nothing to do with my playstyle, which doesn’t have anything to do with 222 and which i don’t need to prove to you. This is about thinking what can be considered balanced and what not.

To me, runes that can reapply mad stacks of confusion aoe in seconds are broken.
A perma stealth thief that can get away safely in any situation is broken.
a 4s stun on a 7s cd is broken.

Ofc if the reasoning is “don’t attack if you have confusion”, “aoe the thief in stealth” and “dodge the stuns” I don’t think we’re gonna go much far in terms of class balancing, because none of them are acceptable counters to a broken mechanic.

I think they are pretty acceptable counters actually. You just need to l2p.

lol. of course o mighty pvp god. please tell me more. u who has such a mighty pvp power, that u think u can tell everyone that they need to l2p while u play an op build. of course your majesty is soooo right. let me go practice my 2 sec stability and the 2 stunbreackers i have with at least 20s cooldown and my awesome 2 dodges.

i should also always listen to people that also defend perplexity runes as balance and a l2p issue where we just need to find a counter right?

It’s funny because the power mesmer is currently the hardest counter to the Mace/Shi/GS warrior.

Its funny. Ive never run glamour bomb, never run veil bot, or been expected to be some sort of portal kitten. Yet my commander was contacted by the enemy BG forces we often face asking after me. They conveyed their feelings on how good I was.

I think you need to look deep inside yourself and stop blaming Anet for whatever it is youve got going on. Hell, just yesterday a random guy on my server pm’d me to say I made him want to roll mesmer. No more excuses. Get out there. Be awesome.

Just curious…what spec/armor set/weapon set do you run that attracts the attention of the masses?

erm in spvp, i killed those warriors with my mesmer, but it was a hard hard battle. in wvw …this is out of control. all u see is warriors and even jumping out of their way and attacking from the side, is not gonna help much, as they can tank everything, heal way too much and eat conditions up like nothing. if u are high dps/high tank u should be at least weak to conditions, but u are not, so yeah i hate to say this, but GO glass wvw thieves(stop ganking dolys and taking camps)!GET THEM!

This was reset night 9/13 on DBBL around 9:23pm PST. After a skill-lagged battle (where you see I try to activate guardian mace #3 skill a few times unsuccessfully), I got instanced out or something. Everyone but my party disappears and I am struck for an insane amount of damage that doesn’t appear in the combat log. The bug occurs at like 1:33 into the video.

Maybe this was a Friday the 13th thing!

oh wait. look at the mini map! u were not only skilllaging, u were lagging too. the commander icon rubberbands, so maybe u hit a major lagspike and were killed in the mean time.

yep agreed. well nowadays, people bring condition cleansers with them, plus 25 stacks never lasted long. it would hit 25 real quick and then drop very fast.glambombs also only were this strong in a dynamic group. u have to be pretty coordinated to do this right. u wanna pull people through the fields to get high stacks, ets. 10 necros atm can do twice as much condi dmg than what a mesmer glam ever could. plus they can chain fear u through their marks.

from this (10-13 mesmers,1 ele, 2 guardians)

to something like this(they lack a mesmer at first)

Yeah, this is the main reason everybody and his pet dog equips zerker gears. I feel you man. I want to play support and at the same time get the chance to loot. Mob tagging is just stupid.

the problem is that we are duelists and a lot of our dps come from clones(shatter) or phantasms. clones and phantasms die very quickly in big group and zerg fights, so we lose our dps. in spvp i feel way more powerful than in wvw as our trailines are super messy for wvw. we lack a lot of aoe in zergs. i know some people like support roles and this buff could be great for them and their builds, but i porsonally dislike support builds.

So what you want is a new weapon/skill/utility/feature that fits tightly into the zerg meta and can be captured by commanders in an easily shouted, short, pithy saying that isnt VEEEEEIIIIIIIL!

And this would improve your life how?

Call me crazy, but I do believe there is more going on in a fight than just those things which the commander calls. And after the second by second calls for movements, skills, rallies etc are done, the Commander is usually pretty spent for time to cram anything more into his rather sluggish spoken word per second language.

But hey, I hear you. I’m not down on us having more options and more to do. More fun for all!

erm yeah i would like to be able to tag and deal dmg with class the same way as other classes can do. if i wanted to play support, i would use chaoses buuild, but i dislike support. the classes shouldnt be so separated, that warrior=dps, ele= dps/healing, necro=condi/dps, guardian=tank, thief=dps, mesmers=support?!?!

i wanna be able to fight in zergs like i used to during glam times. they took glam and left us with 1v1, roaming skills. we lack aoe, multitargeting skills, they even nerfed temporal curtain which is kinda important in wvw when 3 warriors charge u for example. we lack stability too.

erm nope we actually are all pretty skilled, but i was on my mesmer and couldnt catch up with him, but the other people had a hard time too. so yeah its because he kept healing a ton when ever we got him down to 25 percent. u werent there so u might not wanna judge.

so lately i noticed that when i click on my account and security. i see my ip adress and location and below one from texas which i disconnect right away. i changed my password yesterday, but it still happens. the funny thing is that it logs in around the same time as i do….
this is new and used to never happen.

Well …

  • MH Pistol (or War Fans)
  • Signet of Displacement:
    Passive: Increases Toughness
    Active: Causes the Mesmer to switch places with one of their Illusions
  • Manipulation: Illusionary Echo. When used, duplicates the last Illusion cast
  • Glamour: Inversion. Temporarily reverses the target’s movement pattern (Who doesn’t want a control-inverter move? It’d be FUNNY)
  • Phantasmal Sniper: Fires a targeted shot at the enemy. Applies Bleed/Weakness.
  • Elite: Chronal Morass. Slows down time in the surrounding area. (Since we don’t have a logical “Anti-Quickness,” you figure that this ability could be set as … reduce speed of enemy movement/attack for “X” seconds.)

omg love the glamour idea!
u got some nice things here. they are very mesmer like skills. i would welcome a new aoe dmg trait along with that too.

agree with u. spvp balance is to blame. we are officially stuck as a class. we are duelists only. spvp mesmers do well and that prevents us from getting anything. all we will get is spvp passive and support utilities unless they nerf the mesmer to the ground in spvp and then finally give us something we can use in wvw. it is sooo frustrating.

i dont roam and dont wanna be a stupid scout or stupid veilbot.
from now on i am on strike in wvw: no more tw/no more veil/no more portals/no more, im done with this support the warrior servant role!

seriously, lets go on strike! unless u guys wanna be support for the next 9 months!
