There are aalot of bad players who believe that if they don’t win with it, is worthless. Keep at it. Flamethrower has its place.
Actually that’s not the problem, thanks.
The complaints you are hearing on these forums aren’t due to bad players don’t let these people fool you. What’s really happening is that they’ve nerfed for too long in pve the explosives, and the FT/EG/Blowtorch pistol ability has serious miss problems that they have yet to even give us an ETA on. Right now I would not be surprised if you asked some engineers in map chat that say they absolutely refuse to login to that profession until they make the appropriate corrections to these glaring problems.
And no that’s not drama. It’s been two months since we’ve had a single dev post in the engineers forums. People in my guild have stopped playing the game entirely because their mains were engineers and it seems like eles and warriors are the only professions that they care about on this title….so they are disappointed and rightly so.
Not doing a thing wrong. There is a huge imbalance between engineer damage with pistols and everything else in the game that does cond damage. We actually have to have explosives and firearms to do anything decent and even then it takes 24-30 bullets to do the same things as two handers do in three swings. (cept of course thief pistol damage) Both suffer slower shots (pistols that shoot at the same speed as rifles just doesn’t cut it sorry) and thus it lowers dps severely.
Can’t imagine how anyone thinks that’s balanced. Cond damage took a dump about a month ago and since then nothing but pow prec %crit damage builds have been useful. They need to seriously check some math.
No more so then thief really. I play mine with shield pistol because i like to setoff those wall effects with my shield bubble while pushing enemies back and I like to as a charr use my hidden pistol toolbelt ability while under the effects of quickness.
It’s fun really, it does take some getting used to.
That would be an awesome ability. Imagine the two ends of the bola being two chemical weapon potions and when it lands intertwinds and breaks releasing the alchemical potions within. That would rock actually!
You know I understand that It’s a big business running the corrections for so many bugs and I understand that the team is busy, but it would be really nice if we actually got ETA’s or answers to the problems engineers have been facing since BWE3. Like the FT/EG/Blowtorch miss problem. Here it is months later, and still no word on the long laundry list of problems we face in this profession. I’ve been watching the Dev tracker for weeks now and NEVER see anything beyond that initial interest in the list of our bugs and problems in this profession.
Apparently, If we were playing other professions we’d receive an answer to our problems. It’s kind of a slap in the face really.
Attached is what the Engineer’s posts look like every time i come here looking for something anything that would allow me to enjoy my profession once more, It’s straight up annoying when things don’t work properly in game..
Last dev post on these forums was 2 months ago.

I am aware of the problem being mostly open-world based. But it did effect WvW too, so when I`ve seen that my friend started to actually getting drops I immediately jumped in. Later I went to Cursed Shore and got like 6 rares in an hour before new build made me restart my client. After I logged in, I played for 2 or 3 hours, done Plinx, Penitent and full Arah chain, from pre-wp liberation to the door opening – as I stated I got nothing. I have no idea what that was or how to reproduce it. Wish I could. Before that lucky streak I played for 3-4 hours every day since the patch and got 4 rares overall (in all this time! like, two weeks?) in open-world and WvW both.
So yes, I did try it in PVE. Extensively so. (As for MF I have 5 sup traveller+1 sup pirate on armor, exo opal jewels, backbrace with mf (don`t remember how much though) and 30% mf food, plus clan banner). Guess you didn`t read my posts in this thread, as I clearly stated that I was hit by that bug and haven`t seen normal drop since the patch.
I was merely commenting on what you said, wasn’t meant as an attack on you at all. Sorry if it sounded that way.
The concern for most of us is this is happening outside the dungeon FotM in PVE which is where the majority of the farming occurs for anything and that’s what I was commenting on.
So two patches today (well one was yesterday… one today), still no sign of an increase in drop rates on mf below 250%, killed two veterans this morning, nothing good in drops. Before this patch I saw a whole blue drop off of one of the vets i attacked last night.
Notes for 12/3 include no engineer nerfs, though there are no major bug fixes either.
Yep, hopefully they have a bigger patch with more fixes coming down the line this month like
- curing the miss miss miss miss miss miss of FT/EG/cone attacks
- making it impossible for giants and trolls and everyone else to dance all over mines without them exploding.
- making pistols fire faster then rifles so their dps is actually normalized so we aren’t shooting 30 bullets to kill something. (can you imagine what that would do to a show like the walking dead?)
“What happened why are they still coming after us? Is there something wrong with that gun?”
“I dunno It always killed other things when I shot them, It’s like these things won’t die or something!”
(Warrior/Guardian walks by and thumps the undead with their thumb)
“OH there we go, all dead”
smh
Yeah very frustrated here as well. Wasn’t expecting a big patch but two things were on my mine.
Fixing the miss miss miss miss miss of cone attacks and
Fixing mines and their lack of triggering.
Oh well waiting anxiously for the next one. It’s getting a tad lengthy the amount of time it’s taking them to get these things under control and get them fixed.
Still no word on world drops in pve zones or drops from vets / champs
Guys, make a check. Either I am on a lucky streak (for the first time in several weeks) or they fixed something. It started with my friend getting loot in WvW – of the quantity and quality of “before the patch”. I immediately came along, got one rare and a hearty mix of other drops. I went to Plinx, made it in time to kill the last wave – bam! – a rare. I am going to try again now, wish someone can test it too to exclude it being just an RNG.
Try that in PVE…you’ll see what we’re talking about when you get there, oh and be sure to have 250% mf on otherwise you won’t see a thing.
we really need kits, we need racial armor sets, we need runes of holding all could be karma based and not kill the economy. As it is they are all gold only. It’s weird.
OR we could have other mats available to other crafting disciplines other then just Chef.
Problem is Apophenia.
Apophenia /æp??fi?ni?/ has been defined as the experience of seeing meaningful patterns or connections in random or meaningless data.
The term is a misnomer incorrectly attributed to Klaus Conrad by Peter Brugger , who defined it as the “unmotivated seeing of connections” accompanied by a “specific experience of an abnormal meaningfulness”, but it has come to represent the human tendency to seek patterns in random information in general (such as with gambling), paranormal phenomena, and religion.
People take a small random sample, when talking about a 1 in 10,000 chance way to small and formulate a belif based on that experience. I got 5 drops from xxx last night is simply a random occurence it is not proof of MF doing any thing.
Farm the same mob in the same spot for a few months then take of your MF gear and repeat, or just equip + crit gear instead kill things quicker and get more loot
That would be a great explanation if we didn’t already know from the experience with the unid dyes that they already ARE manipulating the drop rates of items, and that before this “fix” loot was coming in just fine and people were actually receiving rewards for their time with mf on.
(edited by tigirius.9014)
Right now with DR and the loot problems (bug or not not sure) one must have a MF rating of 250% or higher to see any rares at all.
What does this mean?
You have to have without a doubt mf on every piece of armor and weapons (dual wield prefered), sigil of luck on one of the weapons and completely charged, food with 30% mf, guild buffs (both of them) and then you’ll just be at 250% from what i’ve calculated on mine.
If you want to go higher (I haven’t found another solution yet) you absolutely must have the booster from the store which is entirely too expensive imo for a 1 hour booster item.
There are no potions that fill the gap between 250% nor are there foods that I’m aware of that go above 30% mf.
So pretty much you’re stuck.
I get 0 rares unless it’s at 250% and then I only get like 2 a week if anything out of 4-5 hour farming runs.
The constant nerfing of already horribly poor rewards is really driving the game into the ground. I farmed for 3 days and got a single rare.
They’d do better to simply put up a sign when you log in that says “Don’t bother playing, you’ll get nothing but garbage for your effort.”
I couldn’t agree more
I agree don’t get me wrong here, completely agree with the sentiment and the OP.
At the same time they did tell us they’d be investigating this. I hope they do and fix it if they expect to keep players they will. There’s nothing in this world that can kill a game faster then a messed up economy and they said they would be watching theirs.
I just can’t imagine what went wrong either in the management of this game or in the code either way it’s gotta be fixed soon.
Runes of the Ogre specifically. Would love the best known source. I need only 6.
What should I expect?
It’s always best to not focus on a single inscription type for points. If you are not using these items it’s best to farm something other then blood.
I’d personally suggest getting poison glands, bones, and scales as they drop the most off of any mobs in any level zone then anything else (especially bones later.) So When farming keep that in mind.
Bones off of trolls/grawl, poison glands off of grubs/spiders/devourers, scales actually fall off of fish so splish splash for mats.
Fun nonsense here have a nice big old scoop of meaningless grind…. there ya go you like grind, yes you do! Yes you do!
Tell me about it. It was horrible trying to get the last 20 points in jewelry. It was really bad because out of all of the disciplines they decided jewelry needed globs of ectoplasm for their rares REALLY? globs in only one profession? yeah…not good.
Then they decided to separate the bags between different disciplines. Weird I thought they all could make gear and crafters bags for gathering/farming. But as a lw nope.
And then they didn’t make it a smart interface so that I could tell to buy the mats from the vendor to make the items or make the precursor item from the selection of the whole item I’m about to make (like make 1 dowel 1 malign dowel 1 pistol frame and 1 pistol barrel right there from the malign pistol selection window).
It’s quite weird that no one noticed these things.
For balance there are some things I definitely appreciate. Fast resource making when you have to make multiples, gone are the days of starting to make planks and walking to the kitchen making a three course meal watching a movie and coming back and it’s still not done. Also, I appreciate them adding a regular bag to multiple disciplines.
I was excited to find they added bags to multiple disciplines until the other day. You see. I just recently discovered that the recipes for special bags like crafters, and gear aren’t universal like invisible.
We need leatherworkers versions of these bags and tailors need a gear version.
It’s not right to keep these types of bags in a single discipline especially in a market like this where competition keeps prices lower then the gouging we’re seeing in other areas (8g for divinity runes anyone?).
This one rune set has gone up so significantly in price in comparison to all the others that it is out of control. I don’t mind paying a decent amount of money to get it but the prices are skyrocketing for this at an insane rate. Please do something about this over 8G a piece is not reasonable. The next highest rune is under 4G.
Anything above 1g per rune or sigil is entirely too much imo.
Personally I’d say keep the runes and sigils at a certain cap.
The thing about the whole trait specs right now is this. Most of the classes have been pigeonholed into a single viable means of doing damage both in pve and pvp. So now everyone is after the biggest badest burst dps specs gear so now all of those items are in higher demand and the market is being controlled by a very small percentage of the populous so the prices are going to skyrocket.
It’s happening with berserker gear as well. It’s ridiculous.
There’s a number of items, namely salvage bags that’re flooding in by the truckload right now; I’ve been buying these bags for a while now, and they used to cost twice their current value and you’d only get like 4 or 5 every 20 minutes.
Now they’re pouring in by the truckload, like a stack every 20 minutes, and the value of the relevant items has nosedived hard are are continuing to dive.
Are the new fractal instances dropping large amounts of bags, or have the bots returned? – at this rate of influx the T5, T6 and core and lodestone values will be back down to the prices they were a few weeks ago before the bot bannings. (Not that I’m complaining, crazy amounts of supply favour the crafty and the crafter. But I’d rather not be unwittingly funding bot farmers)
Not to my knowledge they aren’t What I am seeing tho is there are places in the world of Tyria (I won’t mention where) where there are bags that have a fairly fast respawn rate where you can simply pickup the bags from these open world spots quite often for long periods of time.
Seeing this happen in higher level zones made this thief very happy. Like Japanese kitteh statue happy.
You do not need ecto’s to be “up-to-par” with other players.
You can also get armor/weapons from:
Dungeons- WvWvW – Random dropAlso the drop rate has NOT been nerfed or w/e. Its called a drop chance so you have a chance to get an item or not. So its all luck. One day you can loot 3 exotics and the next day you’ll loot nothing. Get used to it or go play something else.
The only reason why the price is going up is because the amount of gold in-game is steadily increasing. Just as in RL when money supply increases, prices rises (best example is the hyperinflation in Germany post WW).
Not when these items aren’t dropping which is part of the problem. They are investigating the issue because too many in the community are experiencing the same issue, far too many for it to be simple luck. Not to mention that the vets and champs aren’t dropping anything but greys and blues that’s definitely NOT on par with what they intended. The reason the prices are going up GLOBALLY on everthing isn’t because of more gold it’s because of lack of drops. When something becomes more rare that’s when the prices rise. When they are bought constantly they are controlled by the number of people buying them not the posters of the products, so they become less valuable when they are bought too much. Just look at all of the mats used in early crafting, people are still leveling crafting and thus buying the early mats instead of farming them so the more orders that are put in the lower the prices etc.
Looks like ecto prices topped out around 37s on saturday night and have steadily declined to ~30s monday afternoon. Do you guys think now’s a good time to cash out? Will they keep dipping back down to the low twenties or is this just a post-weekend dip that will move back upwards later in the week? Cheers.
I wouldn’t personally touch it until they have confirmed they did indeed find the issue with the salvage kits, with mf, with loot not dropping in open world, and with DR.
Until then I wouldn’t buy any of those resources it’s a waste of money both virtual and RL.
“Hi Sin,
So yep you are right this is the question i have been likely dodging the most? The reason being is that it requires investigation. Vet and Champs should give good loot and there are a number of reports on perceived decrease in the frequency of drops. I will be discussing this in depth with the Production and Design team tomorrow and we will hopefully have more info soon.
Chris”
Just finished reviewing the AMA completely (because it was pointed out on another thread that I like many were missing some things. The question of loot in open world as well as the effectiveness of MF (or lack thereof) and the problems with the loot from vets and champs was posed in the AMA last minute.
I barely caught it myself but it was there and yes he was avoiding it originally but someone snuck it in last minute and he answered it. It’s a satisfactory answer to know that they are working on the problem by investigating it. Hopefully they will see there is an issue since it’s not just happening to 1% of us on a daily basis since the unid dye drop rate nerf.
I’m really surprised we haven’t heard any more on this since Chris Whiteside’s AMA.
What more would they say beyond what he said? “Dev is researching?” “Dev is coding?” “Fix for this is now in QA?” “This is our #1 Prioritiy?” “Our stats reflect no change drop rate?” Not sure what words you’d like them to give you to make you feel better about this.
Some of those quotes are where he was talking about the rewards at the end of the activities such as Meta events chests or dungeon chests from bosses.
You are right tho I went back and read it. Even tho these questions were not in the original list (listed on the forums here and numbered) He was gracious to answer them last minute.

I barely caught it, it was stuck at the very end of the conversation and not part of the main question line.
I am now satisfied that they are working on it and will concentrate on other areas of the forums.
fix for drop rate please
Absolutely agree! The first one to be gone is this horrible drop rates for anything useful. I can wait until Dec 14th to be able to use kits on my engineer again but remove DR, hotfix drop rates, and hotfix magic find in open world this week please!
(edited by tigirius.9014)
You do not turn invulnerable just because you go into stealth. You still have to dodge out of the AoE to avoid getting hit. If they attack in your direction when you go stealth, you have to dodge out of the way.
If you actually read what I posted you would know that’s not the issue, the problem is is that the mobs can still do their attacks on me as if I’m still visible to them even while blinded. It’s a glaring problem when you are stealthed behind a blinded mob and their attack goes off while they are facing AWAY from you and hits you anyways, and by hits you I mean it flies up into the air backwards over their heads and lands centered on you like they can see you still. In all of these instances I was already stealth and they were blinded on top of being stealthed but their abilities home in anyways. There’s something wrong.
(edited by tigirius.9014)
Completely agree with this. Sooooooooooooo many problems in engineering and so few viable builds. just run around with shield and pisol, that’s all we can do atm…sigh…smh
Still haven’t heard a word. The thread HERE is 11 days old now, however, we have yet to get an answer from a dev.
Also, the drop rate was lowered before Nov 16th to compensate for the unid dye drop rates accidental increase, so it’s been 2 weeks since we started posting about this issue.
There is a glaring problem with stealth right now where mobs are able to target you even when you’ve been stealthed for minutes before they even took notice of you. If they are in the midst of charging an aoe attack for example and you use blinding powder they are STILL able to hit you with it even while moving out of the way. (grubs are a great example of this) It’s weird it’s like suddenly even while blinded and while you have already stealthed they phone Miss Cleo and ask her where you are standing hang up and finish casting hitting me every time.
It’s happened on multiple mobs now. The easiest one to tell is the grub. Now I know some mobs cast their AOE’s anyway but we’re not talking trolls here we’re talking spiders, grubs, mage ghosts, rangers, devourers. All of their ranged abilities home in on me despite my being already stealthed, and blinding them, AND moved each time.
Is this something you’re aware of?
Why can’t we throw our leftover explosives? Why can’t we activate a cloaking device? Why can’t instead of pulling them to us we use a repulsor wave to push them away?
It would make so much more sense.
About the explosives thing, why not throw our mines since they are useless as a skill even as a toolbelt skill they are useless so we might as well throw them directly at the enemy while downed for an AOE attack.
PVE: playing the thief every which way i can i only found one viable build. (where even in Exotics I wasn’t dieing to some op team of mobs in Orr)
The way it’s setup now is for sword pistol combos. I ignore using #2 and #4 abilities as they tend to be useless. I time between the traited quickness boon, the sigil of rage on my sword, and if both are down and I need a boost for larger beasts I use Haste. Everything tends to die very quickly with this build.
When needing to be ranged I switch to pistols with similar results. My second pistol (that replaces the sword when i switch) also has a sigil of rage on it for speed. If I have time before a battle I switch out two things for the pistols. I change Trickster to Ricochet and I change my Tripwire to Blinding Powder or Smoke Screen depending on the type of mobs I will be fighting.
It makes for smooth sailing now.
It however makes me sad that the other trait builds and weapon combos for this profession are not as harmonious or well thought out as this one is.

There is a vertical treadmill NOW because they created one. There was no gap between exotic and legendary until they CREATED it with ascended gear. Then they made it a LA lobby game.
Um… there is a gap between Masterwork and Rare, and again between Rare and Exotic but I would hardly call that progression a treadmill. A treadmill never ends it goes around and around. GW2 gear progression ends in Ascended. That is the top. It ends. There is no treadmill…
Uhm masterwork and rare both were in the game from the beginning. And you didn’t have to spend three years gathering mats for rares.
If we are to use that analogy then masterworks and rares would have the same stats, before they introduced Exotics (which for the purpose of this example so you understand how this is wrong) will still have higher stats. So you got your level to max, you get your mats together for your masterwork set and all is well until BAM they add Exotics….and Exotics will have the same stats as rares. See what they did there? yeah.
Suddenly there’s an invented gap where there wasn’t one and yes they can do that again. They said there wouldn’t be a higher tier, BAM there is one, they said this wouldn’t focus on dungeons but open world, BAM suddenly the only place you can get drops is in Fotm, they said it would be a game where gear wasn’t the focus and that you could do everything equally across all tiers of gear, BAM they created a whole new tier just after most people finished getting their exotic sets together.
do you REALLY think that sometime down the road they wouldn’t change their mind with this track record barely 3 months after launch?
should people in 2012 still explain the significance of economy in a mmorpg?
Bad economy is probably the number 1 killer of mmorpgs if someone still doesn t know….
That is sad information then. People should take games less seriously and try having some fun.
Can’t have fun when you can’t get the gear you need to continue having fun. OR do you think that people don’t deserve the reward of becoming more easily geared in exotics for leveling to 80?
I think the OP is trying to say that those of us pointing out the glaring difficulties brought on by the sudden 180 that this game took from the manifesto and all of the problems that follows a vertical treadmill (including but not limited to the horrible members of the gaming community vertical treadmills ultimately attract) are not the minority.
There is no vertical treadmill. Ascended is the top, was always intended as the top. The verticalness ends at Ascended.
If you had been keeping up to date with the Developers comments on Ascended gear (which you should do if you are going to comment on them) then you would know that Ascended gear was planned for launch but they content that required the infusion gear was not read yet (the first of these is the fractals dungeon) so they chose to hold off from releasing Ascended gear until they released the fractals. It was a stupid thing to hide ascended gear from the community because now there are a bunch of silly people complaining about an imaginary vertical treadmill.
New content will not introduced tiers above Ascended. Ascended is the top.
There is a vertical treadmill NOW because they created one. There was no gap between exotic and legendary until they CREATED it with ascended gear. Then they made it a LA lobby game.
Those are all vertical treadmill traits. (Complete I might add with requests soon after for other community breaking addons such as gearscore, cross server LFG, and dps meters.)
But that’s beside the point. The point is of this thread, that the people complaining are not the minority or they would have made this a WoW clone instead of starting it off in the vision they produced. See our point?
It’s not a problem in the dungeons it’s universal. I agree it’s frustrating as hell we need an answer.
The thread linked below has been open for a month now. can we get an answer? And to those who agree with the OP please keep bumping the thread I am linking below and adding your concerns to it daily until they answer us?
Thanks.
Bumping this thread as we still have no received an answer from the devs.

They would not have had a demographic of casuals for the launch of this game were that the case. All demographics including WoW’s shows that casual players burst onto the mmo scene on 2005 and virtually took over the American market overnight. Because of this games have had to adapt to keep up or suffer huge losses. Basically leading to gaming companies putting on hold projects they had because their entire billing system needed to be re-evaluated. (too many to list)
So, dungeoneers can pretend that we’re some five people in a crowd of 1 million but in the end we’re really the million coming to these forums to help communicate to the devs how wrong of a direction this is. We’re also the ones that stick with games for years as opposed to the typical dungeon/raider that bounces from one game to the next to try to get his personal ego’s quota for the month.
Casual players include (open world pve’ers, dungeon runners who only run for fun -never speed or to try to outdo their party members in dps-, those who enjoy the storyline, gathcraftsplorers like me, people who like to play the market, RPers)
Dungeoneers are the rest of the PVEers that tend to only worry about spreadsheets of data, cookie cutter builds, hoards of youtube videos on strategies, diagrams of where to stand when, boss fights that involve dancing, and gearscore/dps meters.
Like it or not hardcore players if it wasn’t for us casuals you wouldn’t have a game. Niche games were able to be funded by very few at the dawn of mmo’s but not today, certainly not in this market.
What modifications would you make to this build to make it more pve friendly?
Any word on when we might see some patches? It’s been a while since we heard anything.
Not a good one imo.
I’ve tried using things like this it just doesn’t make for a good build because there are very good master abilities one cannot live without in either the explosives tier or the firearms tier. I’ve modified mine slightly for pve but you’ll see.
Also if you choose alchemy or toolkits you have to have certain things from the smaller unalterable abilities like “Transmute” the ability to change incoming conds into boons.
Just leaves out alot.
Of course while running around in Orr for pve I generally take ten points out of scope and put them in Inventions because it definitely helps to be cloaked when one of those kittens web you smack you with a shovel or try to pull you towards them.
Also, if you are a Charr might I suggest replacing the Goggles or Elixir B with a Hidden Pistol trait, that trait rocks on an engineer’s toolbelt.
Might i suggest everyone use the [ url ] tags as this website doesn’t seem to keep the link together in a format that browsers recognize without a constant copy paste.
Seems like just over the last couple weeks it’s become easier to make money than before.
Only if 1: you run dungeons endlessly (good luck finding a group for one other then fractals) 2: you have an enormous amount of mf on because above 250% is the only way it works now.
“0 communication makes us all think you don’t care for the concerns of your customers.”
My thing is this. We’ve been having this thread open for almost a month now, with no answer:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Change-in-loot-parameters-or-a-bug-Merged
We are the customers, we paid the money to buy the game and some of us actually spent large sums in the store.
Why is it that these threads are open for so long but the only posts we get from anyone is don’t break the forum rules or nothing at all? Can we have answers to our questions please? The AMA didn’t mention a single thing about the loot issues, magic find, or fixing the bugs and bad designs of the professions. It was filtered to take all of those topics out entirely.
All we’re asking for is communication not from a coordinator, not from a moderator but from the devs themselves. I follow the dev tracker daily and never see a thing in there about the real concerns of the community, I’ve followed interviews performed recently about the state of the game. There’s nothing. I seriously thought when I was looking into this game and it’s developers that they were people who were interested in communicating with their fans. When we don’t get any answers speculation and irritation sets in. All we would like is a reply from one of the devs, doesn’t matter who.
Sincerely,
A customer with questions.
(edited by tigirius.9014)
hardly. It should stay the way it is now, it’s fine accept for the vertical progression sneak in. If they handle that properly we’ll see an improved game. Waiting on the next big patch and a dev to answer this question/problem —>
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Change-in-loot-parameters-or-a-bug-Merged
There are plenty of threads about this kind of thing already. Here’s the information that you need to know:
If you see bots, report them. It is in the interest of ArenaNet not to blindly ban them all immediately so that they can take time to figure out how they are managing to bot. Doing that makes it easier for them to get rid of them later.
Understand that for each avenue that Anet blocks, these botters will find a new one. You can’t wage a war against them by banning them daily, you have to take time to figure out what they’re doing so that you can shut it down. You have to think about the long haul.
That being said, there have been about 9,000 threads on botting, all of which get closed. I’m sure this one will follow along that same path.
The point of my post to this thread was that you CAN’T report them if they teleport out of view of the text or targeting them. It’s really easy to say that but that’s not the new issue. They are using obviously, the technology to port between waypoints as a means to port between nodes to farm them for gold. I guess that’s the reason why mithril is still worth a few copper while all the other metals have been boosted in the TP finally.
