What’s unranked? I don’t remember the modes, I just remember talking to a barbarian and having a list of 50 different battlegrounds and us trying to time ourselves to enter the same one and hope that we’d be on the same team or that there’d be room on the other team to switch together.
You can join with just two people in unranked and the other spots will be filled with other players?
When you’re in heart of the mists just press the swords at the top of the screen and it brings up the pvp menu. You don’t need to talk to anyone.
Or you’re doing hot join?
You should go to unranked to play with your friend if you’re still new.
If youre leveling with tomes you don’t need to dismiss the second one before accepting the next level up reward.
Need to buff vitality.
They’re fine they don’t need to be nerfed. Other ele specs need buffed.
Why would you open the chest when you’re taking a picture
Resigning in the first 30 seconds when you only have 4 people would be ok but only then.
It has very high survivability. It’s not OP at all. I play ele. I’m not pro but I feel it’s effective.
They just need to let us customize rings and such like we can in pve. I don’t see how that’s anymore confusing.

I give up after the enemy team has a 100 – 150 lead, by that point, they pretty much will win unless they make a big mistake or one of their team disconnects.
Comebacks can happen, but they’re too rare to be worth trying for.
They’re really not that rare. I’ve come back from deficits that large many times.
Just take a break. Like an hour or more.
Weapon swap is nice but having skills change on legend similar to ele attunements would have been nicer but I understand it would have taken lots more work so they took the easy way out.

Run speed =/= mobility necro just has little mobility.
It’s a large part of it. Mobile is being able to get around. What do you want to do? Teleport around like a thief? They have a few teleports too. I don’t know what you want.
Mobility in the context of PvP is not Swiftness, while Swiftness uptime is reasonably important it is not essential. When talking about mobility, assume everyone has permanent Swiftness and then count in skills that can make you go faster than a player just running with Swiftness. To do this you generally have to use blinks and leaps. We will get a somewhat spammable leap in the Reaper spec come HoT, if it is enough remains to be seen.
There’s little reason for gap closers as a necro. Used ranged spells. You have cripples and chills. Death shroud 2 teleports you to the target. Staff 3 chills. War horn 5 ( or is that considered 2?) cripples nearby targets as well as speed boost. Axe skills have a 600 range which is pretty far for melee. There’s others I can’t remember off the top of my head. If you’re having problems you’re playing it wrong.
Like others said it doesn’t take you out of attack range. I loved using this with mace axe. It’s a fun combo
What is it about guild wars that makes people think they should get more because they have been playing longer? When I played another game I never once heard anyone complain that new players got previous expansions free.

People today are spoiled as to what a beta is supposed to be. Betas are supposed to be buggy and incomplete. That’s the reason you have them. They are not finished products. Finished products released as “beta” are simply advertisements.
i think there hesitant to make tornado changes because that would make eles and engys even stronger. Especially after giving engys the moa tool belt skill they could then have 2 elite finishers which would make them even more op. Imo the eles and engys are the 2nd and 3rd best class atm and making there elites stronger would only make the 4-8 classes weaker.
If eles had a proper elite maybe it would make it easier to nerf them without destroying them

Yea but I don’t. I don’t like not being able to use my normal skills because I’m transformed. Eles are based on attainment swapping. No point to attunement swap if I’m transformed. Elites should be based on that.

I think vitality needs a buff. player hp should be raised by about 25%
I haven’t seen a world boss that didn’t have a lot of people
It’s a symptom of a bigger problem and that problem is low hp pools. Vitality needs buffed. People shouldn’t be getting 2 and 3 shot.
Yes. Make it require taking out the other npcs first. Each other npc should give him a buff as long as he’s alive. One give a health buff one a damage buff etc…

I have a necro. I’ve played about as many games on necro as Mesmer and elementalist. My necro has by far the best winning percentage of all my characters. I have a roughly 66% win rate on it while the others are about 50. Admittedly that’s only about 100 games each which is low compared to the more hardcore pvpers, but still.
80 is a bit much. I’ve been pvping for about 4 months and I’m only at 53 but I do as well as most 80s. If I had to wait another 3+ months to get to ranked I’d just quit the game.
I think it’s more likely it’ll be more like rank 5 or 10. Enough that they’ve seen a few different maps and have the basic idea of what to do.

No, other “2 of X on every team” situations weren’t OK. No one ever said they were.
There’s always going to be a profession that is considered stronger and is going to be more represented in games. That’s just the way it is. If you think that a particular profession or spec is OP then discuss that. Talking about how many of a profession is on each team is pointless.
I think the pet should only be active when you have beast mastery. Though I suppose that would make it weird for new low level Rangers.

Can we make it so it doesn’t use all the defaults when we do random? I don’t care much to see my rank 20 finisher pop up.
or give us customized lists to randomize from.
I say increase his health another 25% and have more adds spawn on the beach. When you have a full map there should be enough adds on the beach to pull people off Tequatl to fight them. Add some champs into it. Make the fingers do more damage to people nearby so they become a priority.
I’d like to see a transit system alternative that I don’t have to spend silver on. I know I know silver is so easy to get but I’m a cheapskate. Give me a mount or some trains/planes/something that I can take that doesn’t cost silver even if it takes longer. I can take a crap while I’m on it.
You’re assuming that it would be as many. Gw1 had tons and tons of hexes.
And I would love to go play gw1 again but anet killed it. No one plays. The pvp was far superior.
I think it would give more choices in builds. Go for a hexes based build or a condition based build. You can balance condition damage and cleanse much better when there are fewer being spammed on you. Making choices about whether to cleanse the condition or the hexes. If the mets goes towards conditions then you bring more condition removal. If meta moves to hexes you bring more hex removal. If people are heavy on condition removal it makes hexes stronger or vice versa. More variety is better.
It would absolutely not be 2 of the same thing. Play some gw1 before you think that.
Bring back hexes from GW1. Confusion and torment should be hexes. Add a couple others and bring a bit more diversity to the game. Skills can cleanse a condition or hex to make you think about which skills to bring.
It’s a small thing but I think it would make a difference.
Part of the problem is the players themselves. Yesterday I had a match where we were down 300-150 and one player on our team decided it wasn’t worth playing anymore and afkd in the spawn area. So it ended up about 500-200. This happens a lot.
If you’re only playing for points you’re doing it wrong. Have some self respect.
Random restarts can also be from CPU over heating.
I hope you people realize that the extra character slot is for pre-purchase only as that release stated. Which means if you want to be a smart consumer and not buy things sight unseen and no reviews….well…screw you.
I had a chat with a friend of mine regarding this expansion and I made the point that if this practice continues I’ll be better off waiting until gw2 is on its deathbed before buying expansions. She said that they probably won’t use this pricing model in the future and I couldn’t be certain….I decided to let her live in dream world a bit. So yeah….purchasing gw2 actually works out economically to be exponentially more beneficial to the consumer the longer they don’t purchase it. Interesting business decision-ask existing customers to pay full price for each expansion when they aren’t actually getting a full game.
Oh well, glad you guys got your character slot.
