Where’s all the single character players? This is a potentially interesting thread topic.

Mix and Match or Riot! Can I do that or is it unoriginal and crass?

I already know the answer and I while I’m able to overlook some things that come into the game, when it comes to outfits its just…no. Even Anise’s one which I wouldn’t buy if it was in separates.

Maybe wait until the next WvW tournament thing, punkinkatt. There’s all sorts of crazy action then. Go for your completion and get some rewards at the same time. And you know what? You might find you actually enjoy a little bit of WvW. Its not as bad as it seems. However, if you don’t like it then that’s fine too.

I disagree. If those players don’t like the game now then they would not have liked it before either. The early leveling is pretty quick, and its the same stuff to do as you would have had to do then. Except skill points on first characters.

People who are able to stick to a single character forever have always impressed me.

I have 55 characters on one account and 5 on the other. None of them are a true main and they all perform the same job for me. Which is really to just enjoy the game as I like to play it, and the way I like to play it is by rolling characters and watching their stories unfold. I’m currently getting a whole bunch ready to be my focus characters for the expansion, and planning out the rest for what I think the other expansions will involve. The con for me is that I can’t play them all as often I’d like.

Out of interest I don’t have any 100% map completions or legendaries or ascended, and I haven’t even fought Zhaitan yet.

It is a lot of Vista’s left. I’m surprised there are so many in WvW, tbh.
I’ve only been to WvW a couple of times and did grab a Vista and PoI or two while I was there. I know at least one Vista, in a base, when I looked up, I could see the final 1/3 – 1/2 of the path. But I could not, for the life of me, find where the path started. :-/

A lot of them are fairly easy compared to others in the greater world but getting the access to them can be the rough part, depending on your server. Good luck.

Well, no one is forcing anyone to play at gunpoint so no one is actually forced, right?

But that doesn’t address my issue that the activity has such a hard edge to it. They made it so when they made it winner takes all. Please make it more casual friendly if we’re being forced to play it to get the Laurel.

The first line is correct. Take responsibility for your actions. You are forcing yourself to do something you don’t enjoy just for a prize.

As for Dragonball itself, I enjoy it for a bit of fun so I don’t see the need to change it for myself. There’s no harm in letting them know why you don’t like it though.

The reason for the first password being unable is most likely due to it being on the black-list. Either for being used by yourself earlier or from being known as leaked from other sites (there have been a bunch of MMO-sites that have had user-information leaked).

Yes security like that is good. If they are collaborating with 3rd party services to keep “compromised” passwords blacklisted, that’s a good thing.
I don’t know, to me, writing your password down is like a first class violation to “keeping your password safe – 101”.

Put your passwords in a notebook. I can’t imagine there’s a gang of housebreakers doing the rounds looking for gamers passwords.

No. I look the best followed by whom ever wants to come in second.

I redid a face today and while doing it I thought to myself that nobody will ever even take much notice of it. It doesn’t bother me since I don’t play for anyone but myself but I thought that maybe it was just a waste. Then I spent another ten minutes figuring out colours and ears. That was a smallish Sylvari. Its not too hard to see Norn and Charr faces but the smaller species can pass unnoticed, especially when you’re passing quickly from A to B.

Plus, helmets and hats.

I enjoy it as well. I had a round the other night where a bunch of people left early and it was left as 2v2. It was absolutely epic! I’m not sure how long it took to finish but the last time I remember was just over 18mins. It was a good way to get better at it as well.

Then I had to knock off and left a poor guy all by himself.

I like the LS but I’ve gradually come to prefer the way Season 1 was done over Season 2.

Whenever I go to LA or the particular spot in Lornars, or go through my screenshots, or listen to the Breachmaker music I can feel the nostalgia. I can remember the feel of desperation to rescue as many people as I can or defeating the giant Sky Puppet with a whole bunch of other people. Racing against time was fun. And sure it was all about time limited events but I really got into it.

The Season 2 chapters are nice things to do occasionally.

I’d love to but I won’t be attending for the same reasons nobody from Anet comes down to the South Pacific. Not griping, it’s expensive for so little time!

I will mention my guild though. The Vagabond Horde is down to 1.5 active members from 2.5. The leaders laptop fried itself so now its down to me and three grey names

The OP while playing the NPE never learned anything of value from the new system.

Pre NPE players had access to all skills and traits, so they could create a build that they learned to play with from early levels all the way to max level.

Now with the NPE players slowly build up their character and in the process learn each new element slowly and never really learn how to sync all of them together for a single build.

NPE=Failure.

There are players who didn’t do any of this before. They might have access to everything easier but they didn’t do anything with them. Its one of the excuses for the changes. I don’t think the NPE has had anything, or very much, to do with the OP’s problems.

Yeah I know. I always think this can be a decent topic for discussion though, seeing how other’s play with tips and hints for new people.

Sorry edgar, I’m not with this one. I use axes on a fair whack of my character roster and there are very few I don’t like. I’m not really a fan of flashy so maybe I’m lucky in that.

Hi. Where were you having problems in Queensdale? Three hours is reasonable to complete the map in one go ( except skill points now on first characters, I guess). Hopefully without sounding rude, I think something isn’t being done right.

I say clear your mind out a bit and relax into your first 80. Spend a bit of time gathering some nice gear and playing around with whatever traits you have so far. You’re only two weeks old so don’t panic and let it all set in.

I typically did, when I ran through Silverwastes, the same. Gave the needed tips in map and repeated them when the event happened in my lane in /say . . . and yet. . . .

I’ll admit VaLee has a point. After all this time, I’m kind of surprised everyone doesn’t the know the mechanics by now.

People thought the same with Marionette. It’s really just a case of many people wanting to take part in the event but don’t play often, or don’t spend much time in the Silverwastes. Or came back from a break. I first did Vinewrath this week since I’d been away from the game for a while.

Of course, some people just don’t pay attention.

Nope. I’ve got stacks of them stashed away from chests and map completes. I’m not even sure if I’ll ever go through them all.
