Very nifty site where you can see everything on your account. I like it. I don’t know how you can see other player’s stuff, though.

in this game you can not see other players gear stats and so forth by clicking on them

like you can do in wow or world of war craft if you will . in that game you can click on

the players toon and find out all the gear and rune stat info on him with out even asking

Same, I don’t want it either. It was suggested further up the thread that GW2 Efficiency could be used to look at other people’s stuff but I couldn’t see how.

Very nifty site where you can see everything on your account. I like it. I don’t know how you can see other player’s stuff, though.

I just feel like its an invasion of my privacy. If anyone wants to know then they can ask. I’m not afraid to talk stats and more than happy to share what skins my armour uses.

I had one but then I got lost on facebook. Reply that is, not really an opinion.

I haven’t finished my Dragon Hunter yet so I have no idea about the OP’ness or not of the traps but my GS and traps ranger is just great. I think so anyway. What game mode? I really only PvE so there’s that.

I think my point still stands. Much easier if they just state the time period at the time they announce, so we know right up front and don’t miss it (as I obviously did) when its posted at another time or place.

Don’t blame you for not reading too far into some threads, and yeah, you’d think by now they’d announce the end date. If only so people can plan things at this time of the year.

It shouldn’t even have been addressed, it was a complete and utter overreaction error much like the over zealous wintersday 2012 bannings.

Now they will have to address and most likely section a part of the cs team for spoiler infractions on every upcoming game, movie, tv show etc because some players feelings were mediocrely hurt.

It a bit saddening though to see that this star wars movie will be the last movie a majority of people will see though RIP, If they aren’t dying then they need to develop some coping skills pronto.

Griefing should always be addressed and that’s what this is about. Whether CS really end up doing anything about it is up to them.

So every time a player becomes offended, which is all the time, a case of griefing should be brought up? A group of players go to one lane causeing upscale – file grief report, group of players fail to defend objective – file grief report.

Its one thing if a player was repeatedly targeted or the message was spammed like gold sellers – yes action should be takening there. but outside that its just laughable

Your second paragraphette is the relevant one here, the other is just drivel. Players have been deliberately griefing others with spoilers. That is the thing here. “Deliberately” – go look it up.

So your saying players can’t purposely upscale an event to cause failure? but a general message in chat is specifically targeted at you and for some reason your block feature is broken? That guild wars 2 manual – look up the features

So who has seen it? I might as well take this opportunity to try and ask someone their opinion on something in the final scenes. It actually is GW2 related as well. Asking via PM since I’m careful with my spoilers.

It’s really just measuring how much content a player has done. Doesn’t mean anything else.

Don’t feel you have to compare yourself to collectors or obsessives. Do your thing and feel good about what you have done, and let others do theirs.

Some folks like WoW better. Some prefer GW2. Some like aspects of each. The OP thinks GW2 could learn some things from WoW. Other people probably think WoW could learn some things from GW2. It’s likely everybody is “right.” And perhaps wrong, too. If you find a game you like, play it and smile.

I find most people can benefit from breathing deeper, drinking more water, taking regular walks, and eating more fiber. And smiling. That’s good, too.

But walking, eating, and drinking is so grindy! And smiling is so casual.

In all seriousness though, I reckon you may be on to something.

At least we have options now. I’ve bought one pre in the last month and I’m having a go at crafting others. Always nice to have options.

None so far. Too many things in the game to do to concentrate on these. I thought I’d probably get one to max by Christmas but Wintersday. Maybe by the end of January. Either berserker or chronomancer. Maybe.

I wasn’t able to do anything last year so this year will be a plus.

BUT if one of the components is tied to the jumping puzzle I am SOL. Platforming is definitely my weakest link.

Yeah. My ping is going to screw me out of that if that ends up being the case.

I’ve put an lfg twice this week when i’ve seen the event is up. No takers since nobody would expect to see anything like that which is a shame. Nobody was even doing the second one.

I have problems with updrafts and laylines sometimes due to lag as well. The latency is Australia is pretty annoying sometimes. We expect fibre next year, I’m hoping that helps some.

It should help a lot! I just moved out of a fibre area and I’m really noticing the difference. Not in a good way.

I reckon just run all your guys around on various maps to get a feel for them again. That is, both the maps/events and the professions.

If you aren’t sure at this stage if you’re going to stick at it then don’t spend your money (unless money is no object).

Guild Wars forums really needs sage

What is sage? (Besides an herb)

When you make a post, the topic is “bumped” and rise in the forum page, with “sage” function you can tag your post to not bump the topic, usually used when you want to express your idea to a topic you think it is not worth the attention of others.

And can then make infraction worthy comments without anyone noticing too, I suppose. Sounds sneaky.

My best friends account had been suspended for buying their own Gem’s from the Trading Post. So instead of her risking another account suspension I figured I would simply gift them to her since I had a spare 800 Gems on my account.

Seriously not joking, their accounts were suspended for 72 hours for using the Trading Post to buy Gem too much. Can’t believe this is a thing but it is and now they rarely spend money for Gems anymore lol.

Your friend couldn’t play the game or couldn’t buy gems? The first seems odd; the second is credit card protection.
