Again its pointless. Cause once you go 500 you lose the exp. Plus creating a choice option would be a coding nightmare. There really isnt a need to have more then one character with like Tailoring at 500 anyway. Nothing is soulbound till used.

Hmmm imagine guild heros for WvW. When your guild claims a hero and builds proper schematic. When your guild claims a objective you could place your hero down instead of the supervisor/lord.

Um how about no. The only problem i see with crafting is the one a day ascended mats, but the TP solves that.
You can have all crafting on one character just only so many active. Crafting can level a character and many use that to help level alts. You basicly want to cut out the exp from players so you can have multiple toons with 500 crafting.

So say Red team is airborn gliding in to safe fire keep, as blue team flips it. So does that mean any Red still in air will fall to possible death ?

Bald while wearing headgear and some outfits. Could we least get some default hair option for the select headgear/outfits that make our characters bald ? The Dwayna outfit gives us a default hair that we can dye.

I’ve been making it up the hill just fine. I’ve seen constant groups going up there since the engi nerf. It seems like you’re just making up problems to justify your anger at your inability to sit in one spot.

Learn to read the full post. If you did you would of noticed i said it was empty in the farm area. Players where in the map but all doing other things. I may of had a bad map it happens but the map was full of players. Just none at the farm.

The treb’s are a added joke. Even standing at the base of the hill with my warrior trying to kill centaurs to make it up the hill. I still get bombed and knocked back. The whole area was empty even though many where on map. No one else was even at the leather farm. A few players where up on the hill by the vista and still was getting targeted by the treb’s, they where not even close to tag any of the mobs.
Anet you wanted a leather farm then you make it unfarm-able with out a massive zerg. The Engi farm down low least kept the base area pretty clear for other players to attempt to move up the hill with very little people. Now zerg or nothing.

3.) I’m buying into the theory that Queen Jennah and Anise are actually the Twin Goddess Lyssa (Illya and Lyss). This is hinted at during the opening story for Heart of Thorns in which the Pact Commander discovers that there is a magic mirror/pendant that shows the identity of the real queen (and its heavily hinted as not Jennah). I think the reason she is here is to keep an eye on humans and manipulate their kingdom ships to prevent another guild war.

Now this I question too, specially since of the pendant that was so important in early LS. I wonder if Kasmeer or even Logan could be the true ruler and hidden from that since birth to protect them.

The premise of the thread is everyone fighting against everyone. If you include the possibility of alliances, it stops being a matter of military strength and position alone, and you have to start considering how other alliances might work out. Depending on exactly what caused the fighting to break out, this could lead to the possibility of human-sylvari, human-asura, or even human-sylvari-asura or asura-charr-norn alliances.

It pretty much boils down to asura being the deciding factor in that case: charr, humans, and asura are strong enough that an alliance between the asura and either charr or humans could likely overwhelm the other three with sylvari being in a weakened state. (A charr-human alliance would also probably be unstoppable, but it’s hard to imagine a scenario of all-out war where that happens.)

Except that the Humans are not strong any more. War with both Charr and Centaur nearly destroyed them completely. Let along all their internal issues because humans can’t seem to work together for long. I know the promise of the thread an in my opinion the Norn are simply no threat due to lack of organization. They would rather drink an party .

The Charr would end up out on top,

2nd The Sylvari are in a weakend state currently, but even before then they may have skills and some knowledge, they lack numbers and real experience.
3rd The Asura lack number, but make it up with Golems. While they would be the second contender to come out on top. The Inquest would most likely see it as a opportunity to take full control of Rata Sum.
4th The Human’s are broken and scattered. Cut off from any sort of outside help. They are behind both Charr and Asura when it comes to war machines. The Humans lack military numbers and lack reliable leadership.

I like the adventures but also hate them. I am personally not good at a few of them and sadly it is the one’s like Sanctum Scramble that I can not even get bronze in. In my opinion the requirement for the collection should not require bronze but at least numerous attempts in a row . Maybe like 4-6 times.

I do not think the Sylvari are truly Mordremoths either. He may say they belong to him as a king would say anyone person or animal in his kingdom belongs to the King. Since Mordy is Nature/Plant he may claim them all as his own. For all we know the Sylvari could of been from Melandru . We look at the Sylvari turned by Mordy he not only reshaped their bodies and twisted their minds. Meaning them looking like a human was not what he wanted. Yet we see Malyck is as normal as any other Sylvari.
Second the Inquest know a lot about Dragon Magic, they have been known to experiment on Sylvari, using them like batteries. If the Sylvari was dragon magic the Inquest would of known. They then could of used that Info to easily take political control of Rata sum and get all the other races to easily fall in line against the Sylvari. After all the Inquest would be hero’s to Rata Sum for finding and destroying Dragon minions so close to the new Asura home.

So I was sitting here with my gf and we was looking at the pets we have in GW2 and ones we had in GW. Ended up making a list of pets with possible Skills. some are pretty open while some had skills and attributes that are already listed on beastiary .

=Saurian=
Bonebreakers : Knockdown 1.75 ct, 15sec rc, 900 rng.
Arrowhead: Bleed and cripple
Pocket Raptors: x3 since so small was thinking of making a single hit target of 3. Cripple and Fast dmg.

=Raptors=
Crested Raptor: Bite, claw, Chilled screech- cone aoe.
Eagle Raptor: Bite, claw, Berserk – dmg +20%.
Vulture Raptor: Bite, claw, Daze – cone aoe.

=Skales= (land and Sea)
Bog : Bite, claw, jab – extra dmg, Regen 9sec every 9 secs
Ridgeback : Bite, slash, smack -short knock-back, Devour -leaps dealing dmg + knockdown 4sec.
Blighter: Bite, claw, Vomit -pointblank acid 4sec, puddle pulses on creation & every sec after, dealing dmg, inflicting poison for 2 sec each pulse. 2sec ct 150 radius.

=Insects=
Giant Beetle: Bite, vulnerable from front, Trample -Dmg+knockdown pointblank in travel path, enemies launched over Beetle, 1.75 ct, 15sec rc, 900 rng.
Spotted Beetle: Bite, Poison spray -Poison+Dmg +3 stacks of vulnerability for 8sec, hits up to 8 times, 1.5 ct, 400 rng.
Forest Grub: Smack, charge, Poison spray
Luminescent Grub: Smack, bite, Burn

=Griffons= (all with bite, slash, fly)
Owl: Chilling (maybe like chilling mist or something)
Eagle: Bleeding, Cleave + knockdown
Hawkeye: percision buff. Dust storm -blinding.

=Crabs= (all move evasivly, Claw, blocks, regen) land and Sea
Hermit: Pincer Snap, Withdraw -blocks incoming Dmg + Regen 3sec or 3attacks, Aegis.
Cave: Water field -Radius 200, healing 10, periodically grants Regen and removes condition 1.
Arctic: Cold snap -chill per pulse (1s) -66 skill, -66 movement, Chill at start (3s) -66% target 5, pulse 5, duration 5, radius 240.

=Other animals=
Dolphin: (sea ) Echo -confusion, fast swimmer (I see it fitting between Shark and Armorfish stat wise)

=A return of animals from GW1=
Crocodile: seeing it serving as a tank with a short knockback.
Lion: seeing it calling in 2 more lions (hyena)

LS1 being open world was fun but also a problem. No play back on it .
Though if they could rework the events to be more like raids and then the number of people needed for some of the events where pretty large. Specially on the Giant Marionette battle which could easily be made into a Teqeatal size world boss battle. I mean look at the Dragon Stand meta event, thats a fun one.

I have a few choices and a few that I feel couldn’t work.
Playable Races 1) Tengu they have been around since GW1, they already share animations with the Charr and have already been considered. Plus who wouldn’t want a giant samurai Bird.
Race 2) Largos, mysterious and aquatic which will work well with DSD. They are humanoid so armor would be easier to model . Animations mostly human I would think. we have seen a few of them in world and personal story.
Race 3) Quaggan . They have been shown to have variants so customizing would work. Able to hulk out when enraged. Since HoT they have improved some of the Quaggan story wise, able to speak better. As for armor would have to make the leggings for them be tail covers, Boots = ankle armor,

As for races I think that wouldn’t work specially at current time
Race 1) Kodan, no real difference in their appearance. Would need to introduce a few variants in-world first through Living Story or Events. (personally would love to play one)
Race 2) Dwarf, they are pretty much extinct. Turned to stone fighting to keep a Elder Dragon at bay. So no flesh an blood dwarfs seem to exist .
Race 3) Ogre’s suffer similar to that of the Kodan, cool race but no customization. They all look alike.

So for last two weeks. me and my guild have tried to do the WvW Guild mission SUpply lines. Once it is started it shows completed on the progress bar, and each dolyak that we successfully escort gives no notification of completing.

Could we get a work around for the WP, the Jump puzzle is just difficult for many. I can barely make it past the first section. I like that the WP is linked to the achievements but just don’t get why link them to one of the hardest JP’s in game with out a alternate achievement to get the reward.

Never said entitled for free. If you had read what I wrote about HoM from GW1 giving exclusive pets in PVE/PVP yet players who only have gw2 can still use the pets in GW2. Wondering how is that any different .

No, never once said I wanted anything for free. Did you even read the whole post ? HoM gave players exclusive pets to use in PVE and PVP those same pets made available to any player who never owned GW1. So why are the new pets gated, the new Elite lines gates in PVP is what I am wondering. Maybe some people need a taste of what to expect to urge them to buy HoT. Just saying ya know.

So any one who has the full core game, even with Digital deluxe of the core game. Things that we had access too are now gated behind HoT even though they deal with things before HoT, 1-50 fractals. Even the basic Masteries for Central Tyria "Oh Nope you don’t even get a taste " all gated for things we players have allready completed.
I know Anet needs the sales to make the revenue but seriously cutting off the core players who was waiting to see if HoT was worth buying. Making the base game feel completely obsolete . I bought the Core game and now I am gated on it like many others are.

So any base player not upgrading to HoT can’t even use the Elite lines, let alone try out the new pets on a ranger. I am sorry but that is complete an utter Kittens.

Players who NEVER played Guild wars 1 have been fully able to use the HoM pets. So why is it any different now ? I know a few people who wanted to try out the Elites in PVP before shelling out money for HoT and now they can’t. Anet seriously has gated the original core game for players.

I know it was removed when we got the new trait systems. But what about for those who bought it? Was there any sort of word on why it was removed ? Personally I found it useful when dealing with the toxic bosses in Kessex.

The event it self was a good idea will give it that. I know was intended for old players an new players to join forces on the battle field and all that.
*But I think it was handled the wrong way, the amount of rewards the blooms compared to the cost of getting anything from the Bloom-vender is to off balanced specially for new players.
*To many Tag an runs going on, they don’t help finish the events or help the people who are trying to fight the Mordrem back.
*Like many have said the rewards should be based on number of incursions stopped not the stack to help cut the taggers down. During the invasion of LA the events where based on numbers stopped for better rewards. To me that seemed to work.
*Also the mobs should least give exp, even some random minor loot that is map related. Champs should drop Blooms maybe 1-5.

Stealth Finishing

Am I the only one who thinks that a Thief or even Mesmer being able to finish one while fully stealthed unfair ? You can’t target or even defend while down, while back they fixed the Mesmer downed state to no longer require a target to activate to make it little more fair. So why does T/M get to do the finisher in full stealth ? They should least be pulled out of stealth once they attempt to finish.

The price isn’t the killing point here to me. The Fact I have played nearly 3 years love the game. Even bought a second account and one for my GF. I expected the expac to be $30-50 depending on content. To include the core game even though free is a slap in the face to those who already own it or recently bought it. Ever considered having 2 standard editions ? Not talking about a price change or anything. Just leaving out the core game, an replacing it with like a extra Character Slot, maybe even a few boosters, Bank expansion slot. Anything really as a reward to the existing players for upgrading. Keep the exclusive stuff to the higher tiers that’s not the problem.

Well for starters made a Rev. Ran through the instance an events. Deleted the Rev. and made a Ranger to see how other professions may handle the area. The map is done quite nicely IMO. Will take some getting use too, I can see allot of time spent on maps just exploring. Though wish we had at least a vender or something in the test to get rid of some of the gear was picking up.
As for the Rev. I do think the Hammer is a little bit over powered. Seen allot of same attacks being spammed over an over. The stability can’t really make a call on that yet not till I fight with and against the Revs. in pvp/wvw.
Did crash a few times only during the wyvern fight . Might be bugged there, not sure if any others had that issue. The Mushroom mastery was bugged as well. Wasn’t able to use them at all.

I know this may of been mentioned before, but after a search couldn’t find any thing on it. I know there are many players out there who miss the town clothing . The tonics was ment to replace them, but really why couldn’t anet of made them like the outfits so we could actually dye them.

Also can we get a option for the heads, like if someone wears glasses. they could keep the glasses on when wearing the outfits. Sorta like a multi layer option for the head ? Something like, head, gear, outfit.

As we wrap up the latest installment of the Living story some new questions arise.
First of I would like to say that the following are my thoughts on whats going on an would love to hear what you may think.
We learn that Wynne dreamed that Sylvari belong to the Jungle Dragon. But didn’t say which group of Sylvari or how they belong. We do know that there is very likely a second tree. The one Malyck is from and it could be very well his tree that attacks the Pact. Mordremoth may of taken control of the second tree and controls those Sylvari. Maybe that is what Wynne really had dreamed about. I say this due to the Pale Tree allowing outsiders to learn the truth about them. Knowing that if all sylvari was really servants of a Elder Dragon the other races would eradicate them. In the cut scenes we see the Rouge Sylvari attacking Trahearne, and if it was close proximity to the Dragon that drove Pact Sylvari mad then it should of affected Trahearne as well.
I think that the Pale tree Sylvari are going to be seen as monsters till the second tree is revealed an the return of Malyck.. I would not mind seeing another section of Sylvari raised different from what we all know..
