You can’t complain about queues in the first time in reset night of the new implemented system… is way too soon. Give it a week or two to normalize.

Players do not like complex maps to fight on it. Look EOTM, look Dominion mode in League of Legends.

The players want to travel from A to B almost without issues. If you build some complex building or mechanic MUST BE OPTIONAL like ruins in old BL. Zerg ignore it, and roamers could use it. That works.

You should back to old BL, improve the Keeps and Towers, add mechanics to the capture system IN THE PLACE, no in the map. Keep the map FLAT. Ppl want a place to fight freely, no a place to deal with it.

Is truly sad to get back to the old BL, because the new map is very pretty, but just don’t work. The protagonist in the WvW are the players, no the map.

I wish you could improve ghrapically the old BL maps, and EBG. And improve keeps and towers. Leaving the map as the original.

Couple of problems, I believe people wanted to play said content with their elite specialisation rather than be rewarded with one after, because as you stated “then what?”

You can do it. Gradually, like every game. I have 8 professions, but I main my necro. Do you know how many HP before HOTS? 45…. because I played only WvW, I had only divinity reach and lion arch waypoint in pve. Took me like 1 hour get HP up to 75 to unlock reaper and GS.

The idea of an RPG is playing his content unlocking power gradually, and you will have full unlocking or almost only in the very end game.

After I read the forum I don’t understand what the people was waiting for this expansion…

In every game, when a new expansion is out, you NEED to level up to UNLOCK new abilities and powers, even get new items….

GW2 do not have vertical progression like endless levels up or gear. People love it. Anet nailed to do new content that you CAN PLAY and you complain about it?

Seriously, what were you expecting? Pay 50$ to click in icons to get the abilities? That is it?

And about difficulty, seriously, were you enjoyed spamming #1 over and over while you get zero damage in a very, super, hyper easy content over 3 years? REALLY?

Number of game against a specific guild, win and loses
GvG player rosters and statistics (death, stomps, avg dps, etc)

Is how this should be implemented, but is too much for anet who is PVE focused, with luck you get a basic score.

Sadly it’s how it is when guilds are paid to move, and servers want to be stacked and do everything they can to do so, even to move to another server and take it over and pay more guilds to move there.

While I agree with your comment, I don’t think that was their reasoning for removing it.

The reason is the new expansion. They are waiting new players in the game because the hype, or really old players coming back. They are tweaking the WvW to those players.

This is unfair for who played WvW for long time and is happy to say “I spent 300 WvW ranks to carry 5+ supplies” or “I have all the WvW rank buff”. But is ok. There are no (non-ridiculous farming) titles, no skins, no stat bonus, no good loot. Nothing for the WvW player.

Even the WvW only gets delete post in the forum, when PvE player have all the devs attention.

Now they want to remove the ranks buff for a fair play? Is ok. So remove the BUFF for those who farm an ascended or legendary, you can keep the cosmetic.

I HAVE NO TIME (or I don’t want to) to farm an ascended, the same some players have no time to get WvW ranks.

Again, WvW players always lose here.

A lot of players are going to say “blob fest blablabla”. But T1 is not what it was anymore. Even in some hours is pretty dead.

I played in every tier. The truth is while the time passed less and less people play this game. T1 is the most stable and with more people of all tiers.

You can try T2. You can get crushed for weeks if you are in the weakest server because the lack of people and commanders, and the last thing I heard is that the GvG scene is trying to rebuild there, but without the support of Anet is going to die again, that and the lack of players make that tier pretty unstable. I was there (SOS) and transferred to T1.

Take a look to http://mos.millenium.org/na/matchups/ you can see how many tiers are balanced in WvW. And you can know what to expect, crush or get crushed.

I don’t want anyone to believe the CDIs are just words. They are far more meaningful and helpful to the team that you may see right away. If you don’t want to anyone believe the CDI are just words prove it. Because by facts and previous CDI… well, no need to explain, right?

Anet disable some options to low-end PC in order to fix what the broke in the 9/9 patch. Is a “performance boost” or something like that to fix the huge FPS drops after that patch.

The stuttering continue. No fix for me. And I notice a small fps drop in pve now with shaders in medium (just fps drop, without stuttering) the stuttering is with other players in the screen even with all in low.

Well… keep us inform about the upcoming fix, I am going to play archeage, works better for me right now.

The community is fighting because Anet don’t have a properly duel mode/option.

IMO that was a terribad idea. At least 10 people I know transferred to BG.

OS is a nice arena for GvGs. They should make it like PvP “servers” and allow any guild from any server to port into an instance so remove the concept of GvGing from being tied into WvW/tier. Then any guild could GvG any other guild. Either that or make multiple instances available through some sort of drop-down like in GW1.

All these would be band-aid fixes to support a player-created GvG mini-game anyway. They should support it properly and create leaderboards with proper GvG matchups using Guild Halls etc. and variable group size brackets anyway. It’s long overdue. It’s a crime that this wasn’t in the game since launch, considering the game’s name and considering the GvG PvP was the jewel in the crown of the PvP scene which made the original popular.

The problem is they don’t want GvG in this game. That is it.

They are going to add it in a critical situation. Is like WvW balance CDI thread, they open one after more a year of community’s complain because the amount of people leaving this game or stopped playing WvW.

Well, after asking me to run like 6 programs to test my computer, they just close my ticket…

I am starting to think they are going to leave this as it is. Maybe the problem has a low priority in their tasks because we aren’t enough players complain about this.

I have a lot of in game friends with the same problems but they don’t waste their time complaining in the forum, because this is what it is.

The game now run in low FPS for a lot of ppl, I think if you can play it, do it. If not, move to another game.

I am doing dailies only now. I am not going to play in the current state. If I get no solution (Here or through my complain ticket) I am going to stop playing this and starting with a new mmo game.

I have no hope in Anet, because they didn’t prove anything in 2 years. I am a WvW player, I know what it feels.

Well, something fried somewhere in my computer while I was playing. CPU and GPU were both running hot. String of BSOD’s followed, lots of reboots, rinse repeat, and now I can’t access Windows anymore.

I have high temperatures too while playing GW2, more than another games. And I am not the only one, all my friends have this problem too and there is a lot of reports in the forum about this issue. No damage in hardware for the moment.

From my part I ain’t going to buy anything related with Arenanet in the future. Tech support in this game is awful, one of the worst I ever seen. I have no hope about a solution. I think I should aim to another game.

T1 server stack beyond the possible. Then complain about the same match up.

Any update about this issue? Is Arenanet ignoring us again?

True enough. Then again, I’d also support base WvW turning into a Red vs Blue vs Green system to filter out stuff like server imbalances. I get the idea of server pride, but it’s not that important to me.

This game needs factions, not red vs blue vs green. They talk a lot about server pride, about identity…. then, they spend a LOT of limited resources to release EoTM with colors and overflows… Anet have no idea what they are doing.

This last tournament is the last nail in the coffin for WvW.

On topic, for sure WvW should offer a lot more rewards and utilities, like PvE. Badges should be a real concurrency to buy good things. But they need to be removed from EoTM chest. Only dropped by players.

But this is a PvE game, an easy one, for casual players.
