The default keybind was moved to Character Select; pressing Enter triggers it. There is no keybind associated with Logout anymore.
Since they are trying to prevent a wasted signet proc, perhaps they could also have this limiter apply to some of our transfer skills?
It happens rather often that I trigger Plague Sending with Putrid Mark, in which case Putrid Mark transfers first and Plague Signet does nothing. So maybe have the trait check for additional 3 conditions after the transfer?
This would be a nice check but due to the order of operations it’s not something that’s easy to do. The condition transfer for Putrid Mark triggers on the same hit that activates Plague Sending so from the trait’s perspective you still have the conditions (since the transfer is still happening). We could delay the activation of the trait to wait for the transfer, but that would negatively affect how responsive the trait was in other situations.
Id like to ask about the other part of todays update, regarding killing players in spaces they are not allowed to be, does that include spawn sites because that would be doubly great.
Rather than being killed, players should always get teleported out of hostile spawn areas now.
Hey everybody, sorry about this bug. The team has disabled the self style hair kits and permanent hair style contracts until a fix can be pushed to the live game. Additionally, sales of the hair kits on the gem store have been disabled until the fix is in.
Rest assured, the kit functionality will be returned to normal once the fix for this bug is live.

Bug Fixes:
The way the birthday system works is to award gifts on the yearly anniversary of the creation of each character. On the one hand, this means that each of your characters will receive birthday gifts when they reach their annual milestones. On the other hand, if you delete your characters before the yearly anniversary of their creation, you won’t receive a birthday gift. I know this is unfortunate for those of you who regularly delete and re-roll characters, but this is the way the birthday system works.
ROFL. Got to be wielding the juggernaut at the same time too.

We’re prepping a hotfix for this right now. Shouldn’t be too much longer.
The change I mentioned previously is multi-part. The change that makes all arrow carts use line-of-sight did indeed go out today, but the second part about the arrow cart line-of-sight checks being too forgiving was not part of today’s build. The changes to the way arrow cart line-of-sight is calculated is set for an upcoming patch.

Oh say, that’s been in there since before Guild Wars launched, back in 2005. I guess I’d call it “standard verbiage” and I know that I’ve asked about it, and it’s a corporate thing, but should not be seen as any sort of mechanism to start monthly fees. The entire company is behind the “There is no monthly fee” concept for GW and GW2, and that is not going to change.

Wanted to pop in and say that you did fight premades a handful of times, but there was an almost equal amount of 3+2’s you fought as well. You also had some 4-queues on your team. There are many ways matches can be made, and you can’t always trust the party check.
There are some changes we are exploring that would further reduce the number of uneven roster sizes in matches, but nothing concrete on that yet.
The longest streak I saw was 5. Not as bad as my record of 12
Funny enough, over the past 7 days you had the exact same number of Victories and Defeats (with some forfeits and byes thrown in). There was a suggestion thrown out a while ago to make players on losing streaks be put on the favored team if there is one.
I don’t know, but it would be nice if they would stop harassing me to set up the SMS authenticator every time I try to load the game.
It’s every fifth time. The team will review that frequency in the future, but for now we’ll leave it there, given the proven security advantages of authentication.

Hi Lawton, I have found some items that exist in game but not in API:2/items, items like the following ID: 49957, 39151 and maybe something else.
Already got a fix in the pipeline for that, not sure when it’s going to be live though.
May not be able to fix the flags fairly quickly, as it turns out.
Old API keys should again be working. My apologies for the disruption.
My key was not just broken, it was gone from the my GuildWars2.com account. Though a newer key that I had created was still in there.
Will have to double-check with the server team to see what effects their data migration had. My understanding was that it was going to fix old keys (e.g., replace the “offline” internal permission with the “_offline” internal permission), not wipe them.
Ugh, I need better unit tests on the items endpoint.
I’ll try to have this sorted on Tuesday.

“Guilds’ rosters, history, and MOTDs for all guilds you are a member of.”That’s a little problematical, because it affects also other players. Every Guild Member has to trust every other Member that he/she don’t share his/her token with dubious webpages or archive every writen word to a DB, even he/she is offline.
This should need something like a allow/disallow from a guildleader and the status should be displayed under /v2/guild/id or (much better) somewhere ingame.
That was a typo on my part. The description for the guilds permission actually reads “guilds you a a leader of”.
Until we get a checkbox in the guild permission system only guild leaders will be able to use the authenticated /v2/guild endpoints.

For the chat endpoint, I’m somewhat opposed to restricting its access behind a guild permission because it seems to be a technical solution to a social issue. I’d originally imagined the chat to be self-policing: if someone was abusing it (where “abuse” is defined by the guild), the guild can just kick them. Having an explicit whitelist seems a bit silly to me — the current state is that guild chat is an implicit grant. It makes much more sense for the /v2/guild endpoints whose functionality is not diminished by having only one person be able to access them.
In any case, the chat stuff will take a significant effort to implement; as such we’ve got plenty of time to discuss the finer points of it. I think it would be best to start a new thread specifically for the implications of the chat endpoint.

Duration is something I can play with, but there are problems which can happen because of it. For example if it was 30 second duration it means it would always be most effective to pre-cast them before a fight which is something I’m not sure I want. I’ll think about it though.
But what is the reason of this interval to begin with? Why these daggers also have olny 15sec duration? If i need heal i need it now, not slowly ticking it up hoping i will heal enough to stay alive. Pair that with lack of condi cleanse and here we go..
The initial heal is a joke as well. I rather have blood reckoning in this case, espesially when it really fits well offensive nature of Shiro. Jump in, start murdering everyone while healing for a decent amount. With current junk heal we cant do that at all.
There are a lot of hits, especially with sword so the interval is to prevent excessive spike. The daggers hit for about 900-1000 damage so having all 6 hits in rapid succession would turn a heal into a spike skill. It is intended to be good damage and healing though. The shorter interval should help a lot with the feel for Enchanted Daggers.
Tried it out and looks awesome. It won’t be out in time for the next beta weekend, but know that it’ll be coming.
Balance isn’t final, it never is really.
All elite specs and Revenant will continue to be balanced up until launch and of course after it as well. Some builds/professions will be better vs Revenant then others. You shouldn’t judge something, by just seeing it in a live stream.
It’s good to have some things professions are stronger at and other parts they are weaker at. I’d agree with Rubi on this one. We’ll see how everything plays in the next beta weekend and balance accordingly.
Should be fixed now, sorry about that. Underlying platform supplying the data changed behavior a bit and the web code needed a minor change to get the request to the right spot.

We don’t have the source art, and it’s baked into the image alongside the text because custom font loading wasn’t reliable at that time. I’ve looked at it a few times and it isn’t worth making the title look like garbage.
The intent on Burst Mastery is to restore 30% of the adrenaline spent when you use a burst skill, so it will restore 3 adrenaline when you use a primal burst. Sorry, no free lunch with this trait
When was the last time the HOM successfully looked up a character for you?

Positively! Great guilds come in all sizes! There’s nothing whatsoever stopping a guild from submitting if it’s small, medium, or super sized!
