Am working on /v2/wvw/objectives right now, though due to the release process the earliest it can be deployed is the patch after next.
Krysard is correct, there is currently not an active season running, so the leaderboards are frozen.
Unless I’m mistaken, the leaderboards worked just fine before the last season was active. In fact, they seemed to be functional long before “seasons” were a thing.
Was it frozen to add “having your name at the top of the frozen leaderboard until the next season” as a reward for doing well? Because I haven’t been able to find anything posted before the end of the season that even mentioned a frozen leaderboard.
We were running off-seasons between our beta seasons, which was why the boards were active. We currently haven’t announced plans to start a new off season ladder.

Everyone else’s crashes in this thread look like Access Violation errors, which are likely unrelated to Bloozeclooze’s crashes.
The sources for these are likely numerous, but we are looking at them. Thanks for the reports. Keep sending them to us.

Looking at your posts again: the crashes you are encountering currently are Out of Memory issues. This can happen for a variety of reasons, but generally it’s because memory have become fragmented enough that the game cannot find a segment large enough for the requested space.
Generally large fights can cause a lot of fragmentation as there is lots of information that is going in and out of existence quickly. If you know you are about to head into a large fight, such as a World Boss, you may want to consider restarting the client to refresh the memory footprint. Some players have found relief from this by lowering their graphics settings to lighten the load on their machines.

This feature is currently being beta tested, so your feedback is appreciated. It sounds like having at least one option selected is a confusing experience. Maybe some extra tooltips explaining the functionality could help.
It also looks like there have been some bugs where people get put into the wrong game mode.

Yesterday’s POI was indeed intersting and I liked the part with the sound department very much and see how they build up the sounds for the game. I like your idea of having departments show off their work for Heart of Thorns during POI. Just after the release of the game there were interviews with people of the art team about their work would love to see something like that again, Hidden Arcana is a good starter.
I have two requests for POI, the first is for PvP 1o1 I would like to hear something about keybindings I see you use E,R,F,C&Q for the utilities something that is not standard also I saw that Josh Davis had special keybindings for his Engineer’s toolbelt skills. I would love the hear more about that, as an engi I still have difficulty hitting the new F5 due to its positioning on the keyboard.
Second is just hoping from my side but when the Engineer’s elite specialization is announced I would love to see Colin Johanson come on POI to explain us about this elite specialization since he plays an Engineer himself.
Keybindings are a good idea for a topic on PvP101–I’m going to add that to the list. Hugh and I have been moving back and forth between map and profession guides, but with things in flux right now this might be a good time for something like that. Thanks for the idea!

People are forgetting something about this beta… this whole event wasn’t in their original plans. It is a “bonus” event for extra feedback on the Revenant, as we have seen, because the short CBT they had didn’t give them enough feedback.
Colin said this himself, they don’t consider this a fully fledged Beta Weekend Event. Part of the reason this test exists is because the gear in the CBT was the same used for the convention demo and they basically said that while they had reasons for having that gear set for the demo in hindsight they should have changed it for the CBT event.

Consider this an “early peek,” and by all means share any of all feedback you have! We have an actual Revent forum set up for your feedback, and it was created specifically at the request of several Development Team members, so you can be assured it will be given a very high priority for review. This weekend’s testing is not at all a “marketing event.” Marketing events are good, too, but this weekend consists of a real, honest-to-Dwayna test, with feedback invited from all who participate!

Stonegaze Spire Reactor keeps glitching just like before. The others seem okay from what I’ve experienced.

We have not released all weapons and legends for the Revenant yet. Right now there is definitely a gap in the playstyles offered as we haven’t discussed the more pure DPS focused setup yet. soon tm.

.. I think i forgot some but those work for now.Not sure if these would count as bugs or maybe its supposed to be like that. Either way would be nice if they get fixed. Hopefully they fix them, kind of annoying to have to sit the and summon hammers after the surprise attack has happened, instead of prepping for it.
The energy mechanic is kind of weird when out of combat right now and that’s something we’ve already addressed internally. In the next iteration you’ll see it’ll have the updated energy bar.
Basically, you can’t use the upkeep skills right now because you don’t have the upkeep to spend to use them because when you are out of combat energy upkeep drops from 5 per second base to 0 when you are resting at 50% energy. In the new version you will always be at 5 per second base, it’ll instead just cap energy at 50% out of combat. Which should solve a lot of the weirdness.
The energy expulsion issue is probably a bug as it should be costing 50 energy.

I think it’s awesome that we are seeing some people from different departments talk about their work done on the game. Usually when I think about ANet as a development team it’s hard to imagine faces other than the handful that we see most frequently.
Having Drew and Jerry on the show was awesome and so interesting. I look forward to seeing more of ANet on the program!

Thanks! This is something I’ve been wanting to do on the show pretty much since it began, and it’s exciting that all of the pieces are finally coming together to make it happen. The audio team will be a semi-regular recurring piece (we’ve already got two more segments sketched out to use sometime in the near future), but I want to spend time with other teams too.
My first priority is to not impact any team’s work on HoT, so segments will happen as they’re able.
I’m sorry I couldn’t watch most of the PoI today, my mom’s housecleaners came in my bedroom to vacuum during it … So I just saw bits of the part with Colin, which I suspect were pre-recorded since the blog announcing the PoI had a still image from their conversation. Unless that was from rehearsal.
That was All Live Colin today.
The still images on the blog posts and social media are from rehearsals–I just pull some good screenshots from the recording. It saves photography time.
We just put in a fix for the generators in EotM. It may just work instantly in existing games, but at the very least it should be fixed the next time EotM ends and resets.

Hi all,
Due to unintended behavior, we have temporarily disabled the ability for players to use the skill “Cancel Build” (skill #2) for all WvW siege blueprints.
You can still place siege sites as normal, you will just not be able to return the blueprints to your inventory once you have attempted to use them.

But as shared, items and wealth won’t transfer to your real account. That just wouldn’t be a good idea at all.

The API only currently allows a max of 200 results/request, so you’re already fetching the data optimally. If you’re looking for raw speed, I’d recommend making the HTTP requests on one thread, then parsing the JSON on another in a producer-consumer fashion.
