Anet does not know how to balance – they’re like children who rage in either direction… it’s all or nothing….
Instead of increasing the cooldown from 5s to 10s and raising the cost to 25… they GUTTED the combo effect of this skill to where it’s basically useless outside of using it just to auto attack when you get tot he target.

The only thing that matters is: are you having fun? If you’re not, then what difference could it possible make if there are 5 million people playing? If you are having fun, why would you care if there are “only” 100,000 playing?
The amount of people are a direct relation to “Fun” in WvW/PvP.
The less peole there are to bloody the axe with, the less fun the game becomes overall, from that perspective.

Not “Additions” – no one really ever cared nor petitioned for “more kitten”. All we’ve ever wanted was fixes – to which they’ve only ever done one: Culling.
1) Balance of populations / maps
2) Night-capping / population
3) Blobbing vs Tactical Play
4) Havoc Squad and hard rezing vs blobs
5) GvG ~wvw~ scene. (wait what?)
list goes on and on and the sad part is, we’re still here asking for the same stuff….
Oh wait – they did finally fix the commander stuff (sort of)… but it took 2 years for them to take their head out of their sssssss

I’ve thought through the implications of removing cele from PvP and what would happen to elementalist quite a bit, actually. It’s pretty risky. I think elementalist would need a new 4 stat combo to be viable at roughly the same level (maybe something like 1050pow/1050condi/560vit/560healing).

There’s nothing really more to say – we’ve put it in posts for the last 2 years. 60% of all changes are complete garbage and accompanied with more and more issues.
Less is more people…. less is more.
Now the maps are completely barren. Couple this with no updates (ie – BETA) until the 3rd quarter of the year?
1) The “fixed” or "Balanced’ stability to a pre-hot level, only to add 10x more CC (soft and hard) in HoT.
2) You only need 3 classes to face-roll everyone in a group setting.
3) Roaming is dominated by 2 classes.
4) Blob’s are worse then ever.
5) Match System has been stagnant for 2 years.
6) The new maps are completely empty 85%, w/ the 2 hours of prime time being the exception.
The list goes on and on and on.
The whole 2 people on the WvW Team either need more help or just fire them and forego WvW entirely.
The reason there is so much red on the board is because its called: DAMAGE CONTROL.
Sinking ships are filled with it.
Fun point holder build. Really have to pay attention to your Aegis, much like Bunker Down on Scrapper.

What I use.
Same gear as KayCee basically but w/ different runes for.
3 Blocks/Immunities – Stability – 25 Stacks might – 2 reflects – minus 40% condi duration.
3400 Power/Armor w/ 65% Crit and 26.5k HP.
Lacks Swiftness (but whatever) and has low Ferocity (kinda hurts).
You can make up the lack of ferocity if you really wanted it via weapon / sigil / utility primer.

They can’t fix it because they don’t know what to fix. They need the 6 months of crap gameplay in order to have the data to know what the problem is.

Critical Hits with Pistols and Harpoon Pierce and have a chance to cause cripple on hit – Critical Hits on crippled foes have increased damage.

So, having played for 24h hrs now and even though I’m still super discouraged w/ the implementation of Hero Points and needing 400 in a Game Mode I don’t like (PVE)….
They’ve done some really good improvements to DH. It’s not nearly as “clunky” – it’s alot more fluid and has some “OK” synergies.
The damage is defiantly NOT the issue. lol
Bow targeting is still a bit wonky – feels like a ranger longbow at short range where you’re not always hitting the target – regardless of how much you’re straifing and firing.
Contrast to ranger short bow which rarely has issues “hitting” the target.

At its current dmg, velocity needs to be increased on auto.

Last Beta I’m fairly certain the cooldown was longer – 4s.
I feel like Hammer needs better Burst Synergy… IE – combo’n skills. As of right now you’re #2→#3 but they don’t land at the same time except for the off-chance where you get the 3rd cascading hit w/ a #3 on the backside… but even then, you have to lead the target and rarely does it connect.
Faster #3 would solve that problem.

What I find to be the single most effective way to kill a Rev is to let them UA you and then just retreat into the middle of your group while they’re in thier UA Chain….
Barrels of laughter as your group collapses on them when they re-appear 1200 Range away from their own group. lol

What nearlight said – and you can use Lyssa Runes over Hoelbrok… or even Pact for more fury uptime.
More or less perma stability in Retribution w/ energy sigils.
Condi cleanse for Burn Guard/Poison and Stun break in Invocation.
This leaves one open trail line: Hearld for D or Devastation for Ferocity/Dmg.
Dwarf Stance 3 condi cleanse on heal.
Yes, condi bombs hurt when not in Mallyx, but to say there is no way to deal w/ a condi bomb isn’t exactly truthful either.
The mobility / evades are in Shiro w/ Sword are huge as well.
Lastly, as someone else said, Lyssa is really good too… couple that w/ a Crusader amulet and 40% crit from Fury w/ an Accuracy sigil will put you at about 60% crit chance.
WvW is just bad.
2+ years and Anet can’t figure the imbalances out? Please.
