Hello Guys,
I have been playing on and off since launch, right now I am coming back for PoF. I leveled a revenant and I am now half way through HoT.
I like Rev, their skill effects (GW1 nostalgia much?) and interesting mechanics, I hate facets visual thou – simply hideous.
Now after reading through this section on the forum I am not sure If I want to continue playing Rev. There is so much negativity for every game mode be it PvE or PvP.
Is it seriously that bad? Is Rev not apreciated in group content or PvP? Or should I just roll a different class and not feel like I am gonna be useless?

I also play rev since launched, and I love to be not OP.
I love to be challenging every time in pvp with my power hammer rev in platin, because its nice to fight the meta kitten out of head of my enemies.
Dont hear on whines of forum, if you love rev then play rev like YOU want and not some kind of metashit tells you.
When new addon cames out i will fight with kalla/shiro hammer s/s and I will enjoy the crying of players ^^

As for Renegade:
- shortbow skills 2, 3 ,4 and 5: have an extremely long casttime, and it needs to long to appear after casted. People still just walk out of range/position and I miss most of my skills, also Citadel bombardment.
- shortbow skill 2: miss all the time the target is moving …
- shortbow skill 3: where are the bolts?, some of them seem to be lost in the mists ( I had times where only 3 appears or less ) also this skill should be faster or act like True shot or deflecting shot (dragonhunter) with ground targeting (or not)
- shortbow skill 4: toooo slow and I think I miss like ele using dragontooth and I cant target behind me … lol … every class can do that …. except Renegade
- shortbow skill 5: needs some ground direction targeting also like True shot or deflecting shot
The utilities are all to slow, to long to cast, to late at appearing on battlefield, ppl simply walk away. And the MOST DISTURBING THING…. no valid path
And plz change the stunbreaker to another utility, I dont want to use the low heal skill (wich you can buff with a bigger amount of heal and which is so much important ) for a stunbreaker , maybe the healskill should not ground targeting , instead just appear right next to the player.
I think if you made some little changes we will get a better feeling for the new legend and it would be much more welcome for rev players.

I NEVER used Kallas Fskills cause of to high cost and not good reward of using any of them.
Ever tried to land a hit with citadell bombardment?…. this skill is good on paper but so slow in action, i hope anet will buff them with no cost of energie.

I mean why can our Kalla utilities (summonings with lifebars)can get destroyed, when the act like wells. Mesma and Necro wells wont get destroyed either.
So, a slap in Revs face again? I think they should not get destroyed or cced or intertuppted! what do you think?

You can choose your way to play.
I choose sword offhand cause of nice block and cc, had quite nice combo where i can get ppl into cc for several seconds and land 100% crit on Surge of mists EVERYTIME when using sword5 before Surge of mists. And land shackling wave after combo finish for more actions. All that for lower cds as with shield or axt.
I just enjoy the buff from patch. Hope you can enjoy as well.

Hallo, after some experience I must say that our new Legend is interesting in fighting style and had quite nice grafik effects.
It was quite needed that Revenant get a midrange weapon.
But there should be a more fluid gameplay with shortbow and utilities wich feels extremely slow und lagging, less ground targeting or changed the way it works.
I dont mean to buff(except heal) skills with dps, but make them viable against other classes.

simple, give us options to hide armor parts on costume like on normal armor ; and plz give us option to turn off chest clothes too plzzzzzzz

Realy,
Ventari’s Will: The recharge of this skill has been reduced from 4 seconds to 3 seconds. The healing radius has been increased from 120 to 180.

start from sapphier and hit legend after 80 games, and i cant believe how many worse players are in end division
I think most ppl quit after getting wings … matchmaking is fine
some players have to accept truth they belong to lower divisions because of lack in skill and tactic knowledge
but was fun to test jalis ^^
also had some matches with thelordhelseht, I expected more from him with his chocolate friend … they both die on engi XD

we already had 10vs10 in pvp after gw2 release …. results into total chaotic matches with the best zerg wins …..
many ppl complained about that , thats reason why anet limit player in matches to 5
and also, simple deathmathes are boring because the best zerg vs1 wins …. do you realy want to get ganked by 10 ppl smashing ccs at you …. rly

BECAUSE why can warrior cleanse with elite hit and weaponswap on5sec cd …. ok Increase the rev cleanse to 8 conditons by legendswap to compensate that
Also let HEALPOWER count on life siphon …. THIS TOOO
AND the hammers on Vengeful hammers should not dissapers by contact with walls or terran highs …. this is so disgusting

1. nerf scrapper heal ability, its too much
2. buff jalis/traitline
3. add 6th traitline for revenants to get on same lv like all other classes
4. delete ICD on Invigorating Flow, add engergy gain on auto attack on revenant
5. add bet system on matches

People who dont play a far point tend to be players who are not very good.
I play this game since launch, played pvp since launch over 6k ranked games
In respect all of what you say but math and tactic doesnt changed since launch.
It is the fact I cannot play as 4 other teammembers, when soloq.
It is the fact that pushing far instead of helping teammates will outnumber your own team 4vs5 and result into fail, its simple math.
It is the fact to play safe on 2 points to get a safe win instead of pushing far for a cap and decrease your chance to control all 3 points and result into losing all points.

as I believed in last video report of ruby, there was something told like …. preview changes and thats not all of changes and hoped for some buffs of not used legends like Ventari or Jalis.
But srlsy; what is anet doing all day …. we get less then 10 changes …. moslty nerfs and Jalis and Ventari untouched ?!!!!!

^before the change to matchmaking maybe, but still was bad before. I’ve had better match ups at ruby, diamond is a hit or miss, bunker fest or people trying out warrior and thief for the achievement
So how many matches did you had with score of 500 – 200 or less specially after Monday?
this ^^ and legendary will be soon with our grp, also our guild come from over 1000 to top 100 now

well since new pvp patch i come from ruby t5 to diamond t2 today with a 3mangrp …. and i must say the skill of my diamond enemies are still worse, you can smell the exploiters and the non tactic knowledge of random ppl in your own grp carry them to win …. but we will meet legendary very soon ^^ ty anet for the patch
