Go to the options menu its right in the middle. It says disable closing windows with ESC. Under the user interface section.

Depends sometimes people do it a different but usually its troll>bandit>spider>boar>queen wasp(if up)>oak. With that said just ask in map chat if you want to know for your server.

I think he means ranger since hunter is what the class is called in other games. Anyway if you are not happy with the class i would say try out warrior.

Correct right now only weapon making professions can get to 500. So Weaponsmith, Huntsman, and Artificer go to 500. All others still only go to 400.

Trahearne is not that bad a guy, why all the hate?

People do not like him mainly because they think he “stole their story”; that Trahearne is the main character of the Personal Story, not the player.

My only problem with him is the voice acting to be honest. He doesn’t sound inspiring, and as the leader of the Pact, he should be. I forgive him, though, because he loves the PC so much and he always make sure that we know how important we are for him. I used to hate him, but now I believe that there are characters that are worse than him (I am looking at you, Kiel). I am not a huge fan of Trahearne, but I don’t mind him that much anymore.

With leagues coming up and orbs about to be introduced, yeah, we really could use a good long discussion about the state and the future of WvW.

Well for the near future they are taking a break from working on wvw. They said that during the league season there will be NO significant changes to wvw so the field stays even….. pretty good excuse if you ask me. Gives them a good amount of time to really make some good changes with out people asking for things right away because they already covered their kitten with the league.
Also as many of the devs including Colin and Devon have said they will not be giving us specific information about their plans for future things because than if for some reason it doesn’t happen or they want to do something different they wouldn’t get grief for it. Ignorance is bliss i guess.

Really? Every profession should know how to do the same thing? Kinda odd request. Almost like asking that your armorsmith can make food buffs cause you don’t want to spend the minute and a half of putting the food in you storage and than logging on to another character to use it.

The power of the mists (WvW buff) increases your chance to be able to gather again, so instead of hitting a tree 3 times you can hit it 4 times for example. Magic find, as confirmed many a times by devs only affects loot that is dropped by mobs. It has no effect on opening boxes in your inventory, opening chests, using the mystic forge, or gathering.

Yes in order to get all the achievements in the hero tab you will need one of each race and also one person in each of the orders.

They said that any place that you could get any other ascended item you can also get weapons, so you could get them from the rank up chests.
Edit: This is for weapons i don’t think there is anyway to get back items in wvw as of now. Hopefully it will be soon.

Ummm did you watch the livestream of people trying it? It is going to fail especially in the first few weeks.

First i would say that you should take it to the forge and confirm weather it can go in. I would be very surprised if it can’t.
I assume that you would be able to make the infused version and once you create it you would have to pick the stats again.

I can’t complete confirm that it is 100%( it is a wiki after all), but there is no way that Anet would never change the ingredients need for a preexisting legendary. People would freak the hell out.

All of what you asked depends on what you actually want. If you want to get essences of luck than you can use any kits on blues and greens. If you want ectos than use mystic/master kits on rares. If you want high end mats than use the highest level (master/mystic) or if you can get them black lion kits. If there is a sigil/rune that you really want than use a black lion kit because it is guaranteed that you will get the upgrade item.
With using the mystic forge you put greens in to get them upgraded to rares which you can than salvage to get ectos. However if you are lvl 27 than there is no point in doing this because you can’t really get ectos out of rares until they are level 68.

(NOTE) It is possible to get ectos out of rares below 68 and lower raritys but it is so rare that it is not worth it.

That is only from Essences of Luck. You also have the magic find from achievements. Technically there isn’t a cap on account magic find because you can always get more achievements especially if you keep doing the living stories.

Yes this. The 300 cap is just for the magic find that you get from essences of luck.

Only way is to send in a ticket and hopefully they will send you another one. Also doesn’t this thing have the “type the name of the item” to delete box? If so how could you accidentally delete it?

My question is, do they ONLY take infusions, or can you still use sigils/crests/jewels? Because if they only take infusions, then no, it is not worth it at all. Sigils tend to have a lot more utility than infusions, which are just a stat boost. I just realized that today, after wasting a lot of time and gold doing jumping puzzles and grinding/salvaging exotics.

They still have sigil slots. Also 2 handed weapons have two infusion slots just so you know.

Well with the addition of the wallet (which took away all the dungeon and wvw tokens) they need something else to take up space in our inventory’s and storage’s. I mean how else are they going to sell those extra tabs. :P

You can get two rings with the same stats but one has to be the defensive and the other the offensive version of the stats. For example if you want all berserker stats you can do that but you will need two different rings.

Well not many of us really salvaged blues and greens before this anyway. Also as someone else said unless you specifically buy blues and greens you will not max out any time soon.

I dont think they do, the chance of Ecto is determined by the salvage kit. Which is 25% chance with a Master and 50% with Blacklion Salvage kit.

But Exotics do have a bigger range. Where Rare’s give 1-3 Ecto’s, Exotics give 1-5. So salvaging Exotics will result in more ecto’s, assuming a large enough sample size.

Exotics only give 0-3 ectos same as rares.

They are only resetting the level 400 discoverys so craft away without worry.

Yes they want you to buy stuff. Since i don’t think they are making money off you any other way. I get where they are coming from but its a bit weird getting in to the routine of daily things to do. And yes i know i don’t “have” to do them. I hope they don’t add much more of this.

Falunel i agree with you that really you don’t need to get ascended. My post was more meaning to say that the damage increase of the weapon is more significant than the stats. As you said unless you are a min/maxer or a speed clearer than this update should not have a big affect on your playing.

You certainly can skip it. While it does give exp when you craft you don’t need it.

The direct stat increase might not be that big, but the actual weapon damage is increased which will make a difference.

I hope they just make the ascended gear different looking and not better stats like the trinkets (exotic vs. ascended). If you think about it, it will only make the casual gamer’s (there are more casual gamer’s than hardcore gamer’s) not want to play anymore because they will never be able to keep up with the players who play every hour on the hour to get the new ascended gear. I’m not saying that Guild Wars 2 will lose players because of an update, but it definitely will discourage the casual gamer, that’s all.. I myself just spent a week getting my exotic gear transmuted to Tier 3 Armor which we all know cost a pretty penny. I simply can’t put my life on hold for the game which will most likely discourage me from playing. So again, I honestly hope they don’t make the stats way better or like the ascended trinkets, but more of a cosmetic feature.

The preview will always show the stat item unless they fix this. Almost threw out a few items i had cause i didn’t know about the bug. Since it happened i have been trying to think what Anet did to cause this to happen.

Play thief than. Also how long did you play warrior. Because level 10 is not even close to enough time to get to know a class.

Cause they have to keep us playing the game for a long time. Some people just want to get the highest level stuff and usually burn themselves out. This way people don’t burn out. So you can always go hit up WvW which is basically my end game.
