+1 I really do think this should be implemented because like you said its too easy for a person to take supply out of a tower/camp/keep with no way for people to put that back. On the other hand this would take some of the importance away from a yak but i guess it would not be that much if like you said there would be a penalty of supple when you put it down.

Also if you really want to follow them but have no speed buffs you can get the town buff from the guy by the pvp portals or eat candy and get a sugar rush of course then you are going to puke everywhere.

Haha i thought the same thing sadly it is not. Anyway back on topic i too think that 100,000 is a bit high but also these cosmetic things are not made for everyone to have unfortunately. I feel that a bunch of the things with this event were rushed and not completely looked in to. Like dragon ball not kicking inactive people, we have it in wvw is it that hard to put it in here. The moa races were being rigged at the beginning of the event. Overflow was giving people the dragon helms early. And of course the dreaded RNG of getting rewards etc etc.

Well if you are saying that 8 hours is a day, meaning you are playing for 8 hours. Then i think you definitely can get 121 gold in three days of 8 hours a day. Look at it like this 3 days at 8 hours a day is 24 hours so divide 121 gold by 24 and you get about 5 gold per hour. if all you are doing is cof the you only need to do 12 minute runs and you will get this. and that is just from the gold from bosses and drops. you also have all of the tokens that you could use to get ectos or toss in the mystic toilet for maybe a precursor.

Well, thanks, I guess, for becoming the poster boy for why the holo projectors are anti-community.
Huh? Ok, first of all, 300 is an unreasonable goal. It’s like the dragon wings. All it proves is that someone spent every waking moment standing at one of those holo projectors for days, not doing anything else either in the game or in real life. Or they foolishly spent real money on virtual goods.
I stood at a holo for one solid day, until I could not stand it another second. I’m up to 33%. I’ll never make it. 300 is too high a number. It’s beyond enjoying a little Dragon Bash fun. The dragon wings are worse. But my point is, if you want to blame anyone for sucking the fun out of it, blame the game, not the players. Bashing a few dragon pinatas is festive. Killing hundreds of holos is tedious and mind-numbing.
Second, since I’ve yet to see ANY players at any holo I’ve stood at, so how is this, “anti-community?” The game has died down considerably over the last few months so you better learn to to play alone if you want to survive. For that matter, there are plenty of projectors in the game. Go find another one full of players if that’s your thing. Personally, I am a single player and think other people spoil MY game which is why I do all the mission alone. All the events alone. All the holos alone. If something is too crowded, I go somewhere else or come back later. I sure don’t accuse other people of being anti anything. GW2 is big enough for everyone to play any way they want and none of us have any business criticizing other people for how they decide to spend their money, whether they enjoy a single-player or multi-player experience.

Can I ask why you did something so dreadfully boring? I did the achievement in about 2 hours total, if that, running in a path. Got some nice loot for it, too.
Ya what he said it is waaayyyy faster to go to a map with few people on it and hit all of the projectors. Usually if you have one or two people then they will spawn about fast enough for you to keep going in a circle. Also if you are a single player why do you play mmos? There are a ton of good single player games that you could be playing and not have to worry about seeing others. But i guess you enjoy the main aspects of the game so seeing people every now and then is not that big a deal. Well good luck if you try to do the projectors again.

Agreed on all three. The wings might get annoying if they are constantly flapping but i think i might also get used to them there and kind of shut it out. I think it would be cool if we had effects or animations for the back pieces. And lastly yes the shattered wings do seem ‘off’.

I think the problem is that all helms are coded to remove hair so it removes the possibility of clipping. This is good most of the time unless like this helm you have a open space that the helm leaves but still counts as that area. meaning that it removes the hair cause the helm is there.

No, because it was soulbound to your deleted character.
Indeed, there is a trick to make a soulbound item account bound. But it requires the old (and now deleted) character.
This, if you ever want to delete a character make sure that you don’t have anything soulbound to them that you MIGHT someday use on someone else.

It’s not a bug, since when have you ever seen a dragon with broken wings fly properly. it fits the item perfectly. the wings are broken and shattered to hell and back why WOULD they look even and move correctly

Nobody want’s to level 3 Fractal runner. Last time I posted for a run sat there for 30 minutes and was quickly buried by all the " LF Daily Run level XX"
Just a friendly hint don’t post odd numbers because most people want to do the maw fractal which you only get on even fractal level numbers. Also you can do any fractal equal to or greater than your personal reward level and it will go up. You don’t need to do level 3 to get to 4 you can do 3-49. Now with that said if you don’t have AR then don’t do anything higher 9. If you can dodge well then you can do 10-19.

When you transmute two things you pick two or three boxes that create the new item. First is the look which also has the name. Second is the stats, and third is the upgrade component if one of them has it. So if you take the skin of infinite light it will also have that name.

Yes you can the only difference in the items is how they are acquired, the item is still the same. So you can put any infusion in it (as long as you get a defensive slot and defensive infusion or offensive slot and offensive infusion).

Just some quick answers, you put 4 things in the forge and it gives you 1 thing back. There are many recipes for things that can only be made in the forge. Also it is different from the other “crafting” places in that there is no leveling or level requirement. Lastly some people call it the mystic toilet because they usually throw away a ton of money trying to get better items (precursors). Also i call Zommoros the mystic plumber. In the end, if u like 1 skin more than a leggendary I would say go for it; it’s just a matter of cosmetic.
I agree since these are only cosmetic things if you like one more than the other then go for it. Also i don’t think having people say how long it took them to get it will help very much. This is because the main cost of the weapon is the charged lodestones which you will have to buy so it really depends on what your play style is. If you farm cof and/or coe then you will get it a lot faster than a wvw player. At the current time charged cost 3 gold each and you need 350 so that’s 1050 gold.

Yeah transmutation crystals are not psychic you need to pick the appearance, stats, and upgrade that you want on the new item. Also remember that both of the original items are destroyed during the process, and a new item is created.

I believe that you have to have EotN in gw1 in order for the rewards to register for gw2. I don’t think you can just buy a campaign and link your accounts to get the three points.

This so many times. As people have said probably a thousand times on these threads it is personal preference whether to kill or skip. Most people now run dungeons for the rewards so there is very little, if any, point to kill trash. Hence why so many people skip today. As long as the trash has so much health and gives terrible loot the general populace will skip them.

You need to be 2+ because you don’t get the daily chest until your first even numbered scale.
This, just because you did a level 8 does not mean you get level 8 rewards. There is a thing called your personal reward level which is displayed at all times. this is what determines what rewards you get so as lightrayne said you need to do another even number to get the daily chest. Guest to a server with it open, run dungeon, profit. I never have to do the event when I want to do a dungeon.
This, if you really want to do the dungeon before you go to bed then you are probably joining that group on a 3rd party program. There are many other programs that tell you which server has it open. As for myself i try to run the event whenever i can because it just makes it easier for everyone. Also try to get story done, it makes it a lot easier on yourself if you have story unlocked rather than hoping that one of your groupmates has story and a unlocked dungeon.

When it says its a one time thing it means that you can only link one guild wars 1 account to one guild wars 2 account. You can keep on unlocking rewards for as long as you want. The rewards are NOT locked out.
