Sounds like you want to play a thief. They can solo very well and i would say are the best at escaping because of stealth. Also they can do a lot of damage so you can take a camp solo if you want. If you would rather be more tanky i would go guardian.

1) The guild will stay on your character but all the upgrades and bank will stay on the old server.
2) It is true that if you delete all your characters you can switch for free, not sure about your bank but i would think it would stay as is.
3)Transfer price is only changed by population density of the server.

To your first question about linking Gw1 to GW2 you can only do that once. One GW1 account to one GW2 account. I have bought character slots (i have 7 right now) but not a new copy of the game.

what server are you on? Each one has different node locations.

I did not think that you had to be able to wear the armor class that you transmute. have you tried this already?

These items work the same way that the HOM items work once you apply them to a pick of armor they are that armor. You can use a transmutation stone to keep the look of the armor.

Yeah I would think if something like ascended gear from wvw was coming we would know about it. Or maybe Anet is going to surprise us. (person that really wants ascended gear in wvw)

You don’t have to have :friends on a server to guest there. Just use the timer to find a server that is close to spawning. Remember other people do this too so it is better to just hang out on the map for a half hour or more waiting rather than going to an overflow.

Yes and No the regen he is talking about is from a grandmaster trait that makes banners give regeneration. The heal you are talking about only happens if someone picks up the banner and uses the number 2 skill.

It is a one time deal. You buy that one golem, banner, banquet and when it is used you have to buy another one.

Recycle you might want to send in a ticket asking if this is legal according to the devs. Cant remember if they said this was permitted or not. Would hate for you to get banned cause you don’t want to carpel tunnel syndrome.

Is spending 42k X 4 pieces so 168k really worth the money you get from exotics. I mean you could buy about 37 Orrian boxes instead and those can drop lodestones.

You know how we have a deposit all collectables button? Imagine if we had an open all loot bags button? I have to say my left pointer finger would love this (poor guy has clicked those kitten bags so many times).

Yes all influence, upgrades, and your guild bank are not transferred to the new server. They are not “LOST” because they will all stay on the old server. For example if you have a bunch of things in your guild bank on server A and then you guys transfer to server B the items are not destroyed, but you will have to TRANSFER back to server A to get to that bank and the items.

I believe the reason it says that laurel sells 30 and 4373 sells only 20 is just a human error of not filling in the new rings on the site. If you click on the rings it says that they can be bought at both laurel merchant and 4373.

Well for starters take your time. Really do not rush the game play your character and have fun. Don’t try to get the best gear as fast as you can and dont try to level as fast as you can. this being your first mmo take the time to learn the game and your class. It will be a lot more fun in the long run.
Gather gather gather. It only take a little time but can really help. Gather everything you can so that you can craft later on and also you can sell the things you gather to make some extra money.
This forum is full of information so try to search for things and also use the wiki. these two tools can really help.

As some people have already said there might be a bug that is allowing people to way point in. However in the second video you showed the keep is NOT contested until about 3 minutes in, which is also when people stop way pointing. Just because you guys are “in” the keep does not make it contested. Got to hit those walls and doors.

Cool, I suspected that was the truth. Next question: If you use a transmutation stone on a Legendary so it has the stats you want, will it still adjust when new weapons come out or have you have you turned it into an extraordinarily expensive weapon skin?

As these ascended weapons haven’t been introduced yet, no one can provide any definite information regarding this. However, Anet seems to be improving transmuted Legendaries into maintaining their rarity (purple font and original name without the sigil modifiers), so I am positive that they plan to bump the stats of those that have been transmuted. It makes no sense why the best weapons ingame should have so limited stat combination anyway.

Actually i believe i read a Dev say that if you transmute the legendary that it would not be changed with the stat boost. As in if you change its stats from P/V/T to P/P/C
then when they change it it will stay P/P/C and exotic level.

Wow eXs that is a little harsh don’t you think? Did you ever think that maybe the guild is just a few of his friends and they don’t want the name any more so they are going to make a new one? And even if it is a big guild if its “his” then i think it will be fine. And if this is the worst thing that happens today then i would say it is a pretty kitten good day for human history.

I believe that the number does not change per item but the chance of either getting ectos or not changes.

could you say what your usual skill set up is? i would think it would be heal/shake it off/ fgj/ some stance/ and signet of rage?

I usually play guardian and warrior ( which would people rather have) should i just use berserkers or rampagers? I am probably going to use my warrior more and right now he is a shout healer/range. keep in mind that running with ac gear, depending on your class, will make people assume you are with PVT stats. and you might be discriminated.

I have seen other posts about bad things happening with kicks. just wondering why this whole system was so poorly put in. For example the person that starts the dungeon/fractal leaves it kicks everyone else too, or only two people need to vote to kick someone out. AN please change this.

It may get a little costly if you change it a lot but you can buy the Adept’s Training Manual which is 10 silver (retraiting at the vendor cost 3.50 silver). Each time you use it, it resets all your traits.

I vote that defrost wins the forums for his suggestion. I have seen screenshots of players with 2 or 3 bank tabs full different dungeon tokens and I think this is rather unnecessary. AN please change this.

I think it is just f@#ked up RNG at work because on a level 10 run i got two exotics and two rares. I believe another person also got an exotic in that run. This was today by the way.

Just wondering how can sp be converted to gold? I though everything you can buy with them is soul/account bound.

It’s one of the best feature of GW2. I’ve always hate games that have great looking gears with horrible stats and decent gears with fugly looks.

8/10 great name but you are a magic user and as a charr i am suppose to hate you, sorry.
I have two charr my main is a warrior called Grom Hellclaw (blood legion) inspired from the great Grom Hellscream (probably my favorite character from warcraft). Like this orc he runs in to fights head first and both weapons swinging.
Second is a engineer because in the engineer lore it said that the class started with the charr. His name is Dragar Gearhand(iron legion) he is the best creator in his warband and that is saying something because that is what the gears are known for.

I like this idea because then this gives everyone a chance to actually win a match. The person in the middle might be kind of screwed with this though. They would get someone that is better than the last winner and another that is worse than the last loser.
