The recent nerf clearly demonstrate that Anet has no idea on what to do with revenant, they didn’t even waited for people to understand the class that they destroyed the most widely used dps legend.

I guess Anet developers should start playing the game so they can understand what they do, instead of blindly reading pvp whines of people that (rightfully so) hasn’t had the chance to learn how to counter this new class yet.

So, this is my feedback after doing the event:

Rewards: the event felt extremely unrewarding to me, not having a single drop, not even karma or xp for completing events for half an hour is just bad. I really can’t imagine new players enjoying this system. The final reward is extremely limited even at 20 stack, as a 3 year old player I like the chance of getting some stuff that I have missed but meh, something where I could use all the magic find I worked for would have been good.

Tagging: The biggest concern about rewards though is what we had to do to increase them: this tag wars 2 is not the game I signed for 3 years ago. It just doesn’t make any sense to go to an event, tag it, press M, find another event close to a WP, go there, repeat. Events MUST give a reward by themselves and the reward MUST be dropped somehow after the events end. Period. The current boon stacking tagging war doesn’t make sense, and I must say that I am severely worried about HoT, I must say that if I had seen this event before prepurchasing I woulnd’t have done it. If HoT announced “map rewards” for events are something remotely close to this, I’ll be very disappointed.

Cooperation between players: what? There isn’t any, my PUG party scattered after like 2 minutes and everyone was randomly tagging events for himself. Events must reward group play and to do so they must offer something in return for playing together. Currently there is absolutely no benefit in doing so.

Overall feeling of the events: they were chaotic, there was a frenzy to tag everything that gave me the worst experience I probably ever had in gw2. Events should be slower paced, maybe with some progression (e.g. an escort, then defend something, then escort again, then attack, orr event chains are a good example of that I think).

tl;dr: * rewards must be awarded after completing an event and *on site, meaning that you have to be there when the event ends. Tagging is the dumbest reward system I have ever seen and must go away asap. Cooperation between players must also been improved.

I am honestly very concerned about HoT right now. As it gets close, this event seemed some sort of beta of a new map reward system that doesn’t work, is not rewarding and it the farthest thing from fun i’ve ever seen in this game.

Sorry for the harsh review guys, but you really screwed up on this. I know that you won’t take this feedback lightly!

Rev Mains?

I main engi and I’m addicted to its gameplay to a level that when i play something else like guard, ranger or necro i feel so bored that a session with them doesn’t last more than 15 min.

Ele mes and thief I like them due to the unique gameplay too, the first being similar to engi in how many skills it has and the second and third being very fast paced and stealth relying.

Reve looks like fun (I haven’t tried it yet, I’m counting the minutes ’till this bwe), its ability to swap entire skillsets using legends reminds me of attunements so i think i will probably like it. It will probably be the first heavy class i like (i only do pvp with guardian when we need a bunker and warrior is the only class i do not have), so I will probably use it a lot.

So far as becoming my main..I don’t know, I don’t think so but it all depends on how disappointed I will be with the Forge..

Hi all!

With the upcoming BWE, I finally get to try the revenant and I was wondering, is there a conquest pvp bunker build that can perform as good as guardian fighting on point in terms of survivability and team support? I recently started playing guardian due to team needs but I must say I’m not liking it very much, so I’m looking for a replacement that can fullfill the same role and currently no other class does it.

Hey there!

You won’t regret getting into engi, it’s the funniest class to play (beware: you’ll get addicted and everything else will feel boring, or at least this is what happens to me now).

I had a friend leveling an engi not so long ago and I’ll tell you what I told him: p/p with bombs and rocket boots is probably the best way to levelup. Rocket boots is THE skill for what concerns mobility on engi and it is simply a must have while leveling, it’ll get you through the map a lot faster. Your damage will come mostly from bombs, mobs will never get out of your aoe so just drop a fire bomb and watch them melt.

Gearwise, try to prioritize condition damage and then power.

As for the third utility, there are a lot of choices. Depending on what you feel you can choose flamethrower for a lot more burn, blind and some blast finishers, or toolkit for its 3s block which can get you those three seconds that you need to get your healing turret off cd when fighting a veteran or when you get kittened by mobs.

It has been 10 months since the last CDI about game modes. (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/pvp/Collaborative-Development-Topic-Game-Modes)

It ended with John Corpening saying:

We have always believed that game modes are important to the growth and development of GW2. We have begun a new phase of prototyping for game modes and the feedback, ideas, concerns and suggestions you all have provided here will help give us perspective as we proceed. Thank you very much for your participation! We are looking forward to future Collaborative Development Initiative discussions with the PvP community.

I really think that, almost one year later, it is time a new dialogue starts. Some things have changed in pvp (namely the reward system) and some events (I think about weekly 2on2 cups for example) have shown that TDM modes are indeed possible.

So please ANET, start a new CDI on the matter or at least give us an official statement on what has changed behind the scenes in the last 10 months..

There is nothing official about new game modes i think, and to be honest the silence is astonishing..we’ve been asking for a new game mode from the beginning, 2 years later nothing has changed. But hey they gave us pve rewards for playing conquest mode, it’s something at least..

Hi all,

I’ll take a minute to propose an idea that came up reading a different topic about reward tracks. It’s no big secret that among the pvp community reward tracks are starting to be felt like a bittersweet solution to the reward problem. While we all could use the money that can come out of them, most of us already have the skins they need and the exotics they (don’t) need. I keep doing pvp because I like it, but to be honest this reward system, while feeling extremely cool at start, is starting to get lackluster.

So what is the idea? A lot of events are getting close (Halloween, Christmas, new LS chapter), why not add event-theme limited time tracks? Every event (especially seasonal ones) have its own currency, its own trophies, its own skins and so on. Many things can be achieved by “farming” events (i guess we all remember farming that halloween labyrinth..), others by completing activities like JPs.

The “farming” part of the event could be easily brought to a pvp track, not as the ultimate farming tool but as an alternative that would probably immerse pvp into the event a little bit more.

I’ll go into an example, think about halloween: a pvp track could give bags of treats, candy corns, the usual stuff you gain from halloween themed champions. Combined with the omnipresent track rewards like transmutation charges, books and so on, it wouldn’t be so hard to create a event specific track. Events like halloween have plenty of skins and event-themed objects that could fit perfectly into the pvp track system.

I strongly think that feeding new tracks could really help in rewarding more pvp (little OT: the best reward we pvpers hope for is a new game mode coff coff), and event-themed tracks would be a great idea and wouldn’t require much effort from the developers (everything is already in the game, the skins, the items, the currencies and so on).

So, let’s hear what you guys think!

Should I be scared? I’m almost done with my legendary and the only things I’m missing I will have to buy at TP, including precursor (and lodestones, and very few t6). Any guesses on how “deep” the change will be and how it will affect us? I spent a lot of time gathering the gold and mats for my legendary it can’t be ruined now!

Hi,

I got back to gw after a period of inactivity and i was initially delighted in seeing the changes to pvp reward progression.

I have noticed that i cannot activate anyone of the tracks except the weekly ones, even i i completed the relative story dungeon.
Do i have to do the story dungeons again in order to unlock the tracks? That would be insanely sad since i do only pvp now in the very small amount of time i can devote to playing gw2..

We can’t do roster shuffling in Team Arena, so lopsided matches like this can and do happen.

This likely happened because 1) rank isn’t factored into MM at all, 2) the players on the red team had an MMR near the default MMR , 3) blue team doesn’t have a very high MMR despite of having very high ranks, and/or they had been waiting in the queue long enough for their MMR range to expand enough to encompass the MMR of the red team.

We have been actively working to MM more intelligent, but those changes are not yet ready for testing. We will have more news about the MM changes as we get closer to releasing them.

You should stop spending all your resources on this MMR and start working on new game modes. The real problem in gw2 pvp is the ridiculously low population. Needless to say what a higher population would do to benefit the current situation..

Pistolwhip Nerf

As a champion illusionist, champion genius and almost champion thief (s/p), all i can say is: s/p thief is one of the funniest builds for a thief in the current meta, not by a longshot the best in tpvp though. Roaming with a d/p will perform much better teamwise, s/d is simply too easy to counter.

It rely on immobilizes, which can be easily removed (no condi removal in your build? in the current meta? seriously..? Well it ain’t a thief op problem then..). The stun on pw lasts for half the duration of the damage part, damage where the thief is rooted. If you don’t plan on stunbreaking that 1/2 sec stun (which can be a good idea, since if the thief knows what to do il will chain something like a devourer venom or a sleight of hand steal), just mash the evade button and you’ll mitigate at least half of the damage of the skill. Provided that your reflexes are slow enough not to avoid the stun at all, which is pretty telegraphed.

Thief has to run glasscannon to do some serious damage with this build, it can chain some decent amount of immobilize/stun/daze and put some serious pressure, but it’s too kitten easy to counter. I won’t even start describing what retaliation does to this build, you can imagine it for yourselves.

S/p has a lot of in-fight mobility due to infiltrator’s strike/return, signet, shadowstep, steal and so on, but: it won’t hold a point captured, it goes down too quickly against burst classes (1-2 stunbreakers in the build usually)

This build is so strong because too much people runs glasscannon in tpvp and doesn’t avoid damage not tries to mitigate it, once i met this staff ele that kept nuking my team on the point while i got to him from behind and killed chaining 4 pw in a row (no immobilizes, no venoms, no daze, he didn’t move and he kept pouring meteors on the point). And then he started complaining on how op thief was (and insulting, “gg noob spam skill” and so on).

Learn to counter classes. Learn to play. That’s pretty much it..

Lovestruck weapons are a fairly safe investment, this to the IRL investments with low margin you bank proposes. You’ll part from your moneys for 6 8 months if you want to wait for a 200% margin.

Is it a good investment? Well, it depends on how much risk are you willing to take. Lovestruck are a low risk low reward investment in my opinion. I bought around 600g of them because nowadays i don’t have the time/not willing to invest time in tracking the market and think about better investments. In any case, you shouldn’t put all your money on them since it will take a lot to cash back.

This is the sole reason i’m still buying skins with gold. I don’t mind spending 10 € once every couple of months when a new great skin comes out, but i have 7 character slots and i use both in pvp and pve every single one of them. Do the math, is 140 € per skin if i’m willing yo buy it for every character. Sorry, not going to happen.

Luckily i have plenty of gold to spare, i had a couple of lucky drops and i invested that money with a nice profit, i use it for gems. I’d rather use it for a legendary, but you can’t have everything and with the current system i’m not willing to put the required amount of real money into skins.

I also come from other games where skins or premium items/heroes costs 2-3 € instead of the (now standard) formula of 10€/set in gw2. I seriously don’t get it, and i’m a bit concerned about where this game is going. The upcoming wvw season 2, featuring massive rewards for winning servers will bring a lot of money from transfers. Is this going to be a pay to win game (skins in the gem store, in a game where skins are the endgame, is pay to win indeed, which i wouldn’t mind if at least you could get the things for a fair price / fair amount), i don’t think i’ll be sticking around. There are much better games that one can play if it’s willing to put 15€/month into a mmorpg..

in the past year, I’ve got the majority of keys I’ve used in that time from daily chests. a close second is map completion (I don’t do map completion on my alts very often)

At the moment, I’ve kept track of what bonus items I’ve gotten from the last 140 daily bonus chests. No BLKeys (Merchant Express has been the most common, btw). I know they used to show up, but I haven’t seen one in a loooooong time. If they’re still possible, as you imply, they’re too rare to be counted as any sort of useful source. Same goes for getting any in the field. They do drop as I’ve gotten 2 in the last 8 months. I think that’s about 10 billion to one odds per kill….

140? I never seen a key so far and i’m doing my daily almost every day from september 2012..

This set is receiving more hate than it deserves. It looks really cool to me, but this is just an opinion. There will always be something that someone likes and someone doesn’t.

The only thing that really bothers me, and i think that everyone will agree with this, is the face being replaced by that blue model. CloneWars2 looks like a star wars mmorpg, it would be great to have this very nice armor and it’s helmet and keeping the appearances we created on our characters (spending gems to add the new facial features and so on..)

Fix that, and i’ll buy one per toon probably..

Well, reading your post again doesn’t make it more right to me..

Thieves pay their mobility, in case you never played one: there are A LOT of weapons sets in which a shortbow doesnt’ fit, think about traits like quick pockets. d/p + s/d is a quite common weaponsset, and has a mobility comparable to the average. Using all your initiative with sb 5 takes you in the middle of the fight without initiative, you’ll have to wait some time before being able to fully engage. As a almost champion shadow thief, i can assure you that i’ll never join a tpvp without my shortbow because mobility is too good in a tpvp match for a theif. You roam where needed and push far when they leave it unguarded. I sacrifice something, but hey it’s ok it’s the role i chose..
If i’m more for staying mid and support my bunker i’ll runn d/p + s/d, very low mobility but some very nice utilities, boon stripping, lots of damage and so on..

Warriors in wvw build for mobility. Why? ‘cause in wvw it’s good. Much better that having a higher damage. Join some tpvp and tell me how many s/* + gs warriors you’ll meet. 0, i can ensure you. Why? Because warriors usually cover a different role in spvp.

Want me to continue? Mesmer portal..it’s very useful if your team can take advantage of it, but the mesmer sacrifices one entire utility slot (and in pvp god knows how many good things a mesmer can take..if you play zerker decoy and blink are almost a must have), if you play shatterer you’ll be probably sacrificing mirror images or null field.

After 1500+ tpvp matches, i ensure you that mobility is a key to victory IF your team can take advantage from it. There are classes that have a higher mobility that others and that’s perfectly fine, pvp is a matter of roles and choices, and be sure that very high mobility always comes at a cost.

I have to agree, deep freeze is fine as it is. Quite impossible to land in an 1v1 (but if it lands, the fight is over) if you don’t chain it with some immobilizes. It can be a really good skill in a teamfight where an enemy can be forced to dodge other things and doesn’t pay attention to a sneaky elementalist.

The personal effort should be rewarded instead of the world position, it really bothers me to be in a very good world (the best so far, very friendly people, decent wvw organization and so on) but we are around 13th place in EU ladder. If the number of tickets i get depends on that, it probable means i’ll get half of the tickets.

Half of the prize no matter how much time i spend in wvw, how much i care, how much i love my world and i’m ready to fight for it. A bigger blob will come and annihilate us in many matches and that’s it.

I was extremely disappointed on the season 1 rewards which was absurd for the amount of effort required by the meta, if you didn’t end up in one of the very few top worlds you basically got nothing you couldn’t get from rank reward chests (oh, and a useless minipet..there are much better looking ones than a wvw dolyak anyway).

Bigger rewards to top worlds sound very like a pathetic excuse to cash up with gems and transfers..but if this is the way GW2 is going, i’ll probably be playing spring season in ESO..

Decap Engi

It’s not AR, stability or whatever the problem of decap engis.

It’s conquest mode. Creating a build to play against a red/blue circle is just stupid, and decap engi is stupid as a bunker guardian, a regen warrior and so on. And i play decap engi, it’s a lot of fun imo, but still..fix conquest mode (by adding new ones that do not require players to run around in a red circle) and these builds will go away by themselves, without changing mecanics that could have a deeper impact to the game just because of one build..

A troll “push-in-the-void” build always get a +1 from me.

Few adjustments though:

- backpack regenerator is kinda pointless, your main source of damage isn’t a kit so you’ll use the toolkit just for utilities..i’d probably take invigorating speed over it.

- leg mods meh..i’d consider static discharge for a more offensive version of the build, both ram and toolkit toolbelt skills fits sd pretty well

- the healing skill well, it’s a matter of choice, but given that you go 30 into tools med kit could be a much better choice, 16cd healing skill on toolbelt plus some utilities..

To be honest, i’d drop the 10 points into inventions and spend them for the 10% damage increase from rifle in firearms, adding damage pressure helps a lot throwing people off things since they have less time to manage your CCs and have to spend some dodges mitigating the insane damage output your rifle can have..

I don’t see automated response going away anytime soon guys. They just added a similar mechanic to elementalists, so by ANET it’s fine.

And to be honest, AR is not a priority by a longshot in the balancing list. If timed right, a terrormance can cut you right through AR, and i don’t want to start talking about warriors and what they can do to you, with or without AR.

A priority would be to fix game modes adding something that doesn’t revolve around running in circle on a point kiting things..that would make decappers disappear and solve the problem at its root. I can’t really believe that after 1 year and a half we’re still stuck with conquest..

The decap engi Guide

I find that bombs are really a good choice in a decapper engi: even if big oil bomb is truly easy to avoid, it makes them waste something they’ll regret: stability, dodges, blind, with the very short cd on rifle and mine after they avoid the bomb they’ll be hit by something else. Plus, bombs can add some very nice pressure on enemies like thieves that must be in melee range to do something. And, if traited, a bomb can heal around 270hp, which is very interesting when fighting low health using automated response.

I usually run 0 0 30 30 10 and i think i’m settled with that, i can easily decap a point in less than 10 seconds from when i get there and i can hold it against two people fairly easy, provided that they don’t know the very weaknesses of our build (i find myself very vulnerable if two people are attacking me one with heavy condition pressure and one with direct damage and some cc, no way i can cleanse myself fast enough and i can’t play under 25% because of the direct damage when a little cc spike can easily kill you)

Anyway, most fun build to play with engi not going to get nerfed, the only thing they should nerf is this dumb conquest mode which leads to this kind of troll builds

And maybe not only for t3 but for every armor. Shouldn’t be too hard to implement a flame effect not tied to a specified armor but to a race, it could cause some glitches with few armor sets but in general would be a win win..

For some reason they decided to remove burning from rocket turret. It’s ok if a warrior nukes you with burning while hitting like a truck, it’s not if an engineer stacks some burning while dealing some decent direct damage too?

the best part of the kill shot is that you can reflect it back to its source.

Also warriors aren’t broken isendel, you are. Try to turn yourself off and on again and see if that helps. Might want to unplug yourself for like 10seconds or so.

Seriously man, i’ve been playing axe/sword + longbow for a few matches now, i’m rank 42 and i have no experience with war at all, i’ve been effectively holding close point against r50+ people of all sort, engi decappers, mm necro, spirit rangers, there is nothing that can bear the pressure of a warrior, my aoe covers the entire control point and much more, my torment is up 13 seconds every 15, my eviscerate hits for 5+k, i remove 3 conditions every 7 seconds, wanna me to continue?

Man, another noob ele complaining about thieves……

If you’re so bad you can’t even pick your traits right it’s not a thief problem..

Arcane abatement is useless, “fall” doesn’t really help if you “fall dead”. Take cantrip mastery instead, it really fits the build and you’ll see those thiefs “fall dead”: they have a lot of knockdowns from permastealth and reducing cooldown on your cantrips will make the difference, especially with your build.

S/P it’s the only build i’m running at the moment in tpvp.

It’s not the optimal for the meta, a standard d/p works slightly better probably, but s/p is too fun to play.

I run 20/0/0/20/30, but there are few variants. As for the rotation, it’s quite simple to be honest. I approach with infiltrator’s strike, pistol whip while the immobilize stands, and then it all depends on what the enemy does. If you are going to try to burst down a glasscannon, after this opening i usually go with devourer venom and steal, which interrupts whatever he’s doing and immobilize. Than chain a couple of pistol whips and the target is usually down.

It’s a easy combo, both to perform and to avoid, but has some persk: it’s not really affected by stunbreakers while still stunning and dazing, effectively interrupting a lot, which helps.

In a longer fight, you have to dance. Infiltrator’s return, shadowstep, infiltrator’s signet, steal, withdrawl, these are all skills that will take you in and out of the fight, master them and you’ll be really hard to kill while dealing lots of damage and control

Decap Engi

I play the decap engi 30/30/30/30/30, i must say it’s kinda op. Permavigor, permafury, permastealth, permaban coz i’m too good for this game.

Seriously..there are A LOT of counters to decap engi. He deals no damage, you have to run with rifle, flamethrower, bombs, no synergy at all..you’ll probably go with apothecary (how is it called now? not shaman anymore i think) so you won’t have a lot of condition damage either. You won’t take the augmented bomb radius because it doesn’t fit in the build (unless you run the 30/30/30/30/30 of which people seems to be complaining here). Your main weapon has no condition based skills (don’t even think at blunderbluss as a condition skill plz).

How to counter it? Stability works nice ofc. Blinding works perfect too. Rifle cc has a relatively short cd, true, it will take some timing to predict them. If you ever get hit by big ol’ bomb well, i don’t know exactly what to say, it’s the most dodgable aoe in the game probably..but you won’t even have to dodge, it rarely covers the entire point without augmented radius.

When i play decap engi i find myself in two situations: people who can counter me and people who doesn’t. When they don’t, i can decap their point and hold it outnumbered. When i find someone who can counter a decap engi i simply change point, i have no 1v1 use. Decap engi gets NUKED by conditions, it’s only cond removal it’s the healing turret. It has NO stunbreakers equipped, the slightest cc and you’re done.

Engi requires a lot of skill to be properly used, but i get that most of the people complaining on how easy it is never actually tried it. There are some classes that have a very hard time countering it, i’ll admit that. But is it op? Lol, no..op is one of those immortal warriors that runs soldier and nukes you with burning. Op are those necromancer who can chain 7 8 hits of fear while keeping up the other conditions. Op are those bunker guardians that stay still in the middle of the point and /laugh at you. Try running a decap engi against them and then tell me how op is it..

The fact is that conquest mode is broken, this is for sure..it leads to these kind of builds which would have no space at all in a decent game mode. Bunker or decappers can be really fun to play, i really enjoy seeing people stare at me saying “omg i can’t help but loose the point”, but i’ll gladly exchange it for a game-mode where i could run something that requires some teamplay instead of splitting people alone over a map to hold some red circles..

Hotfix Condition Damage

Its not the condi damage that is the problem. Its about the way this specific one is applied. A “skillshot” that covers an entire node … so it requires little to no timing and aim.

Damage wise its not really over the top since this duel seemed to last for 1+ minute. Lack of direct damage basicly means you avoided or mitigated most of that (direct) damage.

This..the problem isn’t conditions, is warriors.

For the other screenshot of the dude who claimed to have 16 ways of cleansing conditions (probably true, used to play ele a lot too) and then shows a screen with so many hits of confusion..really makes me stick to my thesis which the problem are not conditions by themselves..

First of all, 41 hits by burning there is another problem, not only condition damage..

Tried to cleanse it? We are in a condition meta, equip heavy condition removal and you’ll be fine..(i play zerker thief with a sword/pistol, it’s insane how much energy i have to waste on sword 2 to constantly cleanse myself from hambow warriors’ burning..but still, i beat them)

This said: warrior is ridiculous, yesterday i ran into a axe/sword war (axe sword wtf?), eviscerate + torment, it was unbearable. Warrior are too tough, they can run carrion and still facetank tons of direct damage. No other class can play carrion in pvp and resist a 1v1 with a decent thief, sometimes i run into carrion grenade engineers and it’s kinda sad how i can smash them in seconds. Same for necros (why a necro runs carrion anyway..?). Warriors coefficients are completely wrong. Too much condition damage in power builds, they have a direct damage output which is too high to give them condition damage too.

But i just realized i wasted 10 minutes of my life typing here, it has been months that warriors are ruining GW2 pvp and nothing has been done but nerfs too small to have any inpact (I lol at the next hs nerf..you seriously think that it’ll change anything..? don’t fool yourselves please..).

Full condi cleanse + all buffs every 45 sec? Yes please.

Basilisk venom is a no brain in most power builds in tpvp atm..i play d/p with it and it’s O.o, approach with it and shadow shot and when it ends your enemy is <50%. Or you can save it if the enemy team has heavy condition pressure, full condition cleanse every 45 seconds (36 if traited!) is something that really changes your game.

I agree that it shouldn’t be stunbreakable, but have it’s duration increased? No thanks.

Basilisk venom stun cannot be compared with other classes stuns: the ele can put out a 5 sec stun with ice bow, right..but it has the most dumb animation, being hit by it is usually used in IQ tests and it results in automatic IQ < 90. Plus, thief can nuke people by just autoattacking with a dagger, ele has to put out a burst that requires him all his utilities so he has to save them for when that skill lands, if it does at all, which means very low damage for the rest of the fight.
Pretty much the same with mesmer. Longer stuns, but every burst he has is tied to a cooldown. Thief is not, d/p or even d/d can kill a zerker in very few seconds with only autoattack and a backstab here and then.

Plus, longer duration would certainly mean longer CD. I wouldn’t take it if it had a 3 sec stun for 90 sec cd. For that kind of burst it’s better to go with thieves anyway, at least a well placed invulnerability won’t screw your elite. And double CD means half the lyssa runes proc..think about it. Increased duration would benefit some hotjoin pvp, but would be extremely worse for high level tpvp where people just don’t stand still getting nuked by a 2 sec stun..

As for pve..well, lots of classes have completely useless elites, i guess this is one of them..not much to see, and not much will change i think (sad, i know..but at least we have some great elites in pve (dagger storm <3), think about engi elites and then tell me how useful they are in pve..)

Completely agree, hammer should have torment on autoattack, or maybe 3 or 4 stacks of confusion.

I was thinking 5 sec stun too but that might be op even in the eyes of a warrior, but if we go down from 5 to 4 i think that’s ok.

Gotta check what exactly will make into patchnotes, but if everything stays how is in the 10th dec preview, my list would be:

1- Warrior (nerf to hammer damage wont change much, it can still apply too much condition while being the toughest aroung)
2- Mesmer
3,4,5- Engineer/Guardian/Necro (can’t decide yet, nerf to permavigor will hit engi pretty bad, and the new guardian heal looks promising, necro is necro )
6- Ranger
Decent gap here, and then
7-Ele
8-Thief

Hope to see ele’s go up a bit, the patch notes looks promising but it’s not enough i think..ele is way behind other classes right now
