Perhaps it would be best to show instead of just tell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ptokg7BsZ-4 It’ll need some tweaking, but it was a fun fight.

This was my trial run, just to test the champion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ChpcRRSWB8 Nothing major.

@Kaiyanwan and takatsu: I’d agree PTV might be unnecessary, but I feel running full zerker against deadly mobs will just come back to bite you. Another good option would be Valkyrie, but since I feel I do enough damage already, I opted out the crit for a slight boost in toughness.

@Rigel: I don’t think you even understood what the build was meant for…did you even read past the title? Hah.

Any chance of Rox' quiver returning? :(

How strange. I haven’t seen the glitch myself.

Granted, if I randomly summoned a jagged horror, I’d hate it. It’s not as pretty as my illusions.

Situational fights

Small narrow caves
Rely more on the sword/pistol, using the great sword for knockbacks. Sword 2 allows evasion during Crowd Control. I’d advise to be careful when fighting in a small area, as there’s less space to move around, and you’d be very tempted to stun the enemy with your pistol. However, the pistol’s bullet can bounce to another enemy and gain agro. If elite skills summon allies, make it so they have only one target.

Don’t run into a cave if you don’t know where the exit is. You’re more than likely going to trap yourself in a dead end with the aggro of a lot of monsters. Fight your way through. This build is designed to take down enemies one at a time with efficiency.

Movement will be limited, so you’ll likely be taking hits. You should survive with the lockdown skills, and you can always dodge into the enemy if you’re really stuck.

Solo one champ
Summon your phantasmal defender, and get your duelist/zerker phantasms out. You’ll be kiting the beasty, switching from greatsword to sword/pistol. The zerker will drop cripple at a steady rate, so you can just attack from the distance with the greatsword.

Switch to the sword for fast burst damage and stacking vulnerability, then pull out again. It really depends on what kind of champ you’re fighting, but I find the ones that give the most trouble, are the ones that have immobilize, or gap closers. Immobilize is easier to deal with – signet of midnight breaks stuns, and you can just CC the monster yourself. With gap closers, rely instead on your phantasms tanking, while using knockback to keep the champ far, far away from you.

Oh, and remember…defiance exists. so use your crowd control only on a needed basis, and rely on cripples and dodges instead. It’s best to keep your distance and kite while summoning phantasms. As long as you keep at least 2 illusions up (illusions, not just phantasms) you should be fine.

multiple mobs
Not too difficult – drop a phantasm or two on one, while you focus on another. By the time your phantasms are defeated, you can dispatch the remaining health yourself.

The only time I really struggle is when there are multiple condition damage attacks. Against enemies like these, I highly advise to take it one enemy at a time. It’s very rare you’ll end up with a large group of enemies, unless you’re doing an event. If so, this is when I activate Take Root. It gives several seed pods (and distracting targets) that can keep aggro off me while I fight the adds.

Two vets
Same idea as multiple mobs, but with a lotta kiting. Pick one vet to go down first. You can either let yourself and your phantasms focus it, or focus it alone while your phantasms distract the other vet. Whichever you feel more comfortable.

Three vets
…I’ll get back to you when I manage to solo three vets at once. Hasn’t quite happened yet….

A few notes with using this build:
-Don’t shatter until the end, unless you really need it. Your phantasms are passing on regeneration while dealing damage.

-Drop the Phantasmal Defender on the biggest threat. It should be the last monster you’ll face, as you first focus on the adds. If you drop it on the monster you’re currently fighting, it’ll disappear once the monster is defeated.

-Use the sword to stack vulnerability. Your basic attacks, and the clone from illusionary leap, will speed up the kill.

-Keep the terrain in mind. This should be obvious, but terrain can make a big difference. The Greatsword deals more damage the further away targets are, and Illusionary Leap needs a connecting landscape. If you’re up on a ledge, you can send an illusion down with the greatsword, and dispatch enemies from a safe distance.

-Don’t panic when you get low on health. You can recover fairly quickly, or at least stall a fight long enough to do so. Keep an eye on the monster that has the lowest health, so that if you do go down, you can rally back up.

-If you notice, this build has no ‘on death’ illusion damage. Since it doesn’t focus on condition damage, I personally don’t find reason to give up the needed traits to enhance that.

- Keep a count on how many illusions you have. If one goes down, summon another to replace it. Number of illusions = survivability.

-You can initiate with clones first, then follow up with the needed phantasms. The clones you summoned will simply be replaced, or you can shatter them for extra effect. (Just be careful not to shatter the phantasms you need)

-Your phantasms can hurt monsters enough to get their aggro, giving you a few seconds to recover. They can generally last long enough to take a beating as well.

-You will find yourself using up dodges very quickly, since you lack reliable endurance regeneration. Just a fair warning to not rely on dodges while fighting multiple enemies. Save them for when you really need them.

Here’s the tweaked build in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ptokg7BsZ-4

Enjoy!

The Mesmerizing Army (Soloist's PvE build)

in Mesmer

Posted by: Arikyali.5804

Arikyali.5804

Greetings, fellow Mesmers. I figure it’s time to drop in a build edit of my own.

This is a build designed for explorers – people who want to traverse Tyria with a papery scholar class. The main concept is for a PvE soloists to rely on their army of illusions when they’re faced with a bigger threat. You can take down vets and champs, alone, instead of asking others to assist. It still gives nice damage with good survivability, relying on lockdown skills for defense. Instead of focusing on condition damage, this build focuses on heavy single-target damage. It’s versatile, and can be taken anywhere, from narrow caves to large open fields.

I made this build based on the one I currently used, but mine has a few differences from personal preference and taste.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fgUQNAsaRnUEFQbCNK1gnjkwkief8zHiO5DuukCcvbA-jQDBYLERjEEA00YEBgUBJK7pIaslhFRjVXDT5aR1aXAGcJymTr2qDQKAbEGB-e

This play style may be a bit out of the norm for other mesmer builds (although shares similarity to phantasm and lockdown builds), so it may need some explaining:

What’s this build good for?

Exploring. PvE itself is easily doable with any build, but instead of just running from one point of map completion to the other, take some time to see everything in between. You’ll come across champs and vets, events, and the many nooks and crannies that are easily missed. Instead of just ignoring them and running off to the next point, go and see what’s beyond that hill!

With practice, you can take on more than one enemy. Champions and vets may not drop a lot of loot like dungeons, but you get the bragging rights of smiting the mighty creature in some faraway cave.

This build is designed to fight off the majority of encounters, given their varying techniques in combat. The trait setup should be versatile enough to accommodate whatever you come across, and only needing a change of skills for tougher champions.

It is not a perfect PvE soloist build (no build can be perfect) but I find it to be one that works well. It should not be treated as a solid build, as different situations will call for different skills and traits. But all you should need is a moment to kitten the situation, and then swap traits and utilities accordingly. What I’m presenting is the basic cornerstone, and I expect it to be tweaked. For example, instead of carrying Chaos IV, I opt it for Descent into Madness while out of combat. I explore a lot, and there are plenty of places where the fall damage reduction is worth the trait slot.

Why PTV armor?

I figure I’d get a lot of questioning looks for this, but in a nutshell:

I’d agree PTV might be unnecessary, but I feel running full zerker against deadly mobs will just come back to bite you. Another good option would be Valkyrie, but since I feel I do enough damage already, I opted out the crit for a slight boost in toughness.

Zerker is the favored PvE gear, but mobs die fast enough with soldier armor. You’ll have the defense to face any sudden surprises you’d encounter, or at least be able to pull back for the time being.

What else is this build good for?

I’ve found this build to be flexible for dungeons and WvW. The setup for strong single-target damage can really be a boon to the team. However, it may be best to change the utility skills to whatever is needed.

Pros:
1. Deals strong single target damage
2. Good survivability
3. Can quickly dispatch bothersome mobs before focusing on the main target.
4. Several ‘panic’ skills when the fight gets too much
5. Effective for fighting in small spaces and large areas.

Cons:
1. Lacks condition damage
2. Lacks strong AoE damage
3. Does not focus on Shatter
4. If condition removal is not spent wisely, multiple conditions can be deadly.
5. Fights against champs can be very long and drawn out (but they are doable).
6. When fighting multiple enemies, dodges are quickly used up.
7. No reliable source of stability

List of available Panic Skills:
1. Blurred Frenzy – evade
2. Magic Bullet – stun/daze/blind
3. Signet of Midnight – blind
4. Phantasmal Berzerker – cripple
5. Illusionary Wave – AoE knockback
6. Take Root – temporary invulnerability (This is a Sylvari skill, not a mesmer skill. It is what I carry, but can be replaced with other racial skills, or MI)
7. Distortion x4 – available from 3 signets and 1 shatter skill

Portal and Mass invis

in Mesmer

Posted by: Arikyali.5804

Arikyali.5804

…I’m trying to think of a situation where portal would be favored for PvE…I’ve only seen portals used in combat for zerg fights and surprise attacks, and in those situations I want to carry Time Warp (Don’t underestimate a well placed TW in a zerg fight). This isn’t counting when people are porting golems – which you wouldn’t want a longer CD with. If portals worked in the way it showed in the mesmer preview, then maybe…jumping back and forth between two points and never being caught, would be kinda fun.

How do you kill a guardian?

Arikyali.5804

Burst them, then run circles around them.

I did that with the last guardian I fought. She attacked me, we fought for at least 5 minutes, disengaged, then we both looked at each other for a few seconds before going along our separate ways.

I don’t think bursts work. XD

Is the shield useless?

in Guardian

Posted by: Arikyali.5804

Arikyali.5804

My main idea is to have a guardian who is tanky and supportive to last the longest in a zerg fight – and not worry about killing enemies. That’s the zerg’s job – I just point them in the direction to kill. I probably won’t be stomping every invader I come across, but focus more on reviving potential members, rallying, and letting allies do the stomping.

If I was attacking a keep, would shield 5 be more helpful than the focus?

How do you kill a guardian?

in Thief

Arikyali.5804

All right, so far it seems to be:

-S/D with strong use of the tactical strike daze
-strong use of venoms
-f1 to stun when not in stealth
-avoid retaliation

So the main idea is to focus on steady consistent damage while disabling their defenses. That would require a build that’s very different from my current setup, but this’ll be fun to try out.

Edit: So if my sole target was a tanky guardian, with the assumption I can avoid enough damage from simply being mobile, this would be build: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fYAQNAsYVlUmKNHaS7E/5EBXhk69Asj1saPk5NjJA-jECB4MCik0BiOAMFqIasVhFRjV3ATjiIq2joIa1SBo1aA-w

-I played with the precision values and crit damage, and couldn’t get them high enough without taking condition damage into consideration. So might as well just go full condition with steady damage and no reliance on crit.

-With only 2 skills to grant stealth, initiative is buffed to increase CnD availability. Also reduces the cooldown of stealing, which applies daze consistently, and can remove 2 boons.

-Only picked scale and venom (and basilisk) since a guardian is already reduced in movement. I chose scorpion wire to add in a control move, but I suppose it can be replaced with blinding powder.

-Gain might with venoms to make up for the lack of crit. can also swap the 10 points in Shadow Arts for 10 points in either critical strikes or acrobatics, as another source of might. (If going for critical strikes, drop scorpion wire for either assassin or infiltrator’s signet)

-Seeing what the new healing skill does, might switch out Hide in Shadows for it. But this would drop stealth availability to only 1 skill that takes a fair amount of initiative, so probably drop scorpion wire for blinding powder.

Thoughts?

A friend of mine informed me that the shield for a guardian is next to useless. I was planning to make my guardian for WvW – aiming to become a support-oriented commander. Apparently the preferred choice for a guardian commander would be a staff and mace/focus.

I will be leveling my guardian soon, and I want to get familiar with the needed weapon set before I drop money for the tag + gear. Is the shield really disfavored, or would it still be a good choice, just outside of WvW?

-Initiate with steal
-backstab

…Then it really depends on what my opponent does after that.

I don’t run up to my target to CnD. Hey look at me, a glass cannon thief running straight up to my target – that’s asking for a stun + burst from melee, or evasive attacking from range.

If I want to initiate with CnD, shadowstep first, then CnD. My opponent will have a split second to see what I did and I doubt they’d know right there that they should counter. I’m here, poof, gone. BAM.

The best counter for CnD is a big scary burst. If someone dodges me, that means they’re scared of me. I’m chasing them down.

The idea behind this build is to dagger/pistol 3 to shadowstep into the enemy and blind them, hack away until poison is applied, dodge, pistol 5 to heartseeker into stealth, dodge behind them, steal then backstab, then dodge again and try it all over when initiative is back up.

My question is, will the general idea work? Is this build the best way to do it? Basically playing a theif since launch and my playstyle hasn’t meshed well with what seems to be intended (ie, i stink).

Anyway, here’s the build.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fYEQRAoa6IoI4UkUk6pgsjVrAN7UcVuC-jECBYLDimEJ00IBK5pIaslhFRjVtATviIq2boIa1A-w

I feel like it just wouldn’t do enough damage to kill someone. The combo sounds good in theory, but targets will be moving and dropping their counters, and a dodge might not be enough to avoid a burst. Does the initiative regenerate fast enough for an escape after the combo, and could you HS stealth —> steal and save another dodge?

I don’t know. I’ll see what others say about it.

I was messing with an experiment for my mesmer build, but long story short, it didn’t go as I had hoped. (I guess I’m too used to glass cannon).

I still have a soldier set of armor left over, and it’d be a waste to just get rid of it. I want to build it into a second mesmer setup, but I need ideas. What could soldier stats compliment on a mesmer?

I want it to cover a different functionality than my primary setup, which is berzerker based. But that build already works well for me in dungeons, PvE, and WvW. So what new job could I build off of soldier armor?

-Bunker/support for dungeons?
-condi WvW scepter/x + staff?
-PvE soloist?
-Condi mesmer + tuning crystals?
-Shatter happy?

I just recently found out from a guardian friend that his class will be getting a movement speed boost. He said he was quite happy, since guardians are so slow.

…I nearly wanted to whack him on the head in frustration. >.<

Symbol of Swiftness
-will grant 4s of swiftness per pulse, total 16s if you stand in it
-stacks swiftness
-15s cooldown
-enough guardians in a zerg spamming it will keep everyone running

Temporal Curtain
-grants flat 12s of swiftness
-cannot stack with other swiftness sources
-25s cooldown
-How many mesmers actually spam this in a zerg, unless they’re trying to catch up? >.<

Oh wait, guardians also have 2 utility on activate skills that give swiftness. Mesmers have….none.

Welllll, to be utterly fair, mesmer and guardian combat are different. And constant running/spamming would get mesmers 36s of swiftness per minute, while a guard gets only 16s per minute (reduced from 32) – If they only take one pulse per skill use. I never did play guardian.

…Reliable speed boost for mesmers, plox?

To the S1 reward complainers

in WvW

Posted by: Arikyali.5804

Arikyali.5804

Seeing how unbalanced and beta-staged WvW is, would it really be fair to drop game-changing rewards into these chests?

-Winning servers were the ones that had large populations.
-Pugs and farmers use WvW for leveling instead of overall server gain.
-Being skilled and/or strategic doesn’t get rewarded in WvW.
-Several unbalanced matchups over the weeks.
-Transfers skew players to the ‘best’ servers.

These achievements were generally easy. Most finished theirs in 2-3 weeks tops. It wouldn’t be hard to get it in 7 weeks. It should be obvious that the rewards are just the ‘frosting’ and not the ‘cake’.

Honestly, what was everyone expecting? Ascended armor? A legendary precursor?

Rewards for abandoning your home server in its time of need to leech off the winnings of a stronger server? Why would Anet promote that? The whole point of WvW is a competitive PvP-war against servers. Not a big map of little-effort, low risk, easy access powerleveling on exp/karma/levels/rewards obtained by mindless, grind-like, boring, zerging. It becomes focused on personal gain instead of a server community effort.

At the very least I was hoping for a new weapon skin, or rares I can salvage for ectos. but until WvW is more balanced, I’ll settle for a cute mini dolyak.

All right, Krait. Let me try and explain to you what is ‘art’.

Art is the human’s feeble attempt to recapture the intangible beauty and preserve it in a tangible form. Artists – these are people who create art – are inspired by many things, from heroic battles of history, breathtaking landscapes, representations of forgotten empires, or symbolization of modern society. Art can take many forms, and it is not limited to paintings. Oh no, art can encompass and embody sculptures, pottery, buildings, music…why, even a suit of armor can be considered ‘art’.

And they’re a good source of my next income.

I stopped in front of the bridge. The fog shrouded the other side, preventing me from seeing what was beyond. Something in the back of my mind told me that if I crossed the bridge, I would never be able to go back. Yet the voice beckoned me to cross. I took a hesitant step forward.

A figure slowly became visible on the other side of the bridge. I paused, squinting my eyes to try and make it out. He looked familiar…

“…Father?”

“Anakysha,” he called out. His voice sounded distant. “It’s not your time yet.”

“My…” I hesitated. “I don’t understand…”

“Go back,” he said. “Turn around and go back. You have much more to live for.”

“Dad, where are you? Why haven’t you come home yet?” I asked. “I miss you! I want to see you again!”

“I’m sorry Ana.” His voice sounded so full of pain and regret. “I’m sorry. Please, don’t make the same mistakes I did. Make something of yourself, before it’s too late. Don’t waste this chance.”

“Dad, come back home,” I begged.

“I can’t, Ana.” He said. “I can’t…go back.”

“Why not?” I asked. “Then let me come see you!”

He shook his head. I could barely see his face shrouded in the mists, but I knew his voice and his stance. There was no denying it was him. “Go back, Ana. Don’t make the same mistakes I did.”

“Dad?” I called out again. I suddenly jerked forward in a coughing fit. I gasped for air, choking on the seawater that was caught in my throat.

“You bookah.” I coughed a bit, struggling to look up at Londatt. I was shivering, drenched from head to toe, and my wrists securely tied behind my back.

“You are one lucky human, you realize that?” He asked, wiping his mouth. “…and your breath stinks.”

It was a beautiful day. Blue skies, white puffy clouds, and songbirds singing in the high branches of the lush summer trees. A cool summer breeze wafted into the kitchen, carrying the scent of lazy wildflowers dotting the hillside outside of the kitchen window. Kristie was busy at the table, mixing the batter for the pie crust. I picked another apple from the basket besides me, laying it on the cutting board and slicing it into chunks.

“Molarsh is coming back in,” my mother called from the second floor. “Get him a glass of water, will you Ana?”

As if on que, heavy boots stomped on the porch outside, followed by the loud swing of the door. I stifled an annoyed sigh. It would have been an almost perfect day.

“Man, it’s hot today!” Molarsh wiped his muddy boots on the floormat outside, before hunkering into the small kitchenette. “Hey there, squirt,” he said, plopping his callous hands on top of Kristie’s head, ruffling her pigtails despite her protests. “Hey Ana! How about a nice cold drink for your handsome and hardworking farmhand?”

Without turning away from my work, I pointed behind. “Glasses are in the cabinet over there, water pump outside by the herb box. We don’t have ice.” I picked up another apple and continued chopping.

I could sense my mother’s disapproving, but understanding frown from the stairways nearby. “Huh,” Molarsh shrugged, peering over my shoulder. Gosh, he reeked of sweat. “Whatcha makin, Ana?”

“Apple pie,” I replied casually.

“What for?”

“Thanking the Seraphs in town.”

A hand circled my waist as Molarsh breathed into my ear. I stiffened. “Ya know Ana,” Molarsh said, reaching over to pick up a piece of fruit from the cutting board, “maybe later today you and I could go out to the lake…we could-”

I raised the knife high, and slammed it down on the cutting board with a heavy bang. Molarsh yanked his hands away and stumbled backwards. “Hmmmm?” I asked innocently, continuing with my chopping as before.

“…Nevermind,” he said, getting the hint.

My mother came down the steps with a basket of laundry. “Don’t get close to my daughter when she has a knife in her hands,” she eyed Molarsh. “Last boy who got ‘too close’ couldn’t walk for a week.”

Kristie giggled. “Ana, I think I’m done,” she said, pushing the mixing bowl across the table. “I didn’t feel any more chunks.” I turned around and picked it up. “Perfect, Kristie,” I said, using the wooden spoon to flatten a few small chunks she had missed. “I’m gonna go get some spices from the herb box, then we can make the crust.”

Kristie grinned. “Okay,” she said, carefully climbing off her chair and holding on to the edge of the table. “Is there anything else I can do?”

“Kristie, why don’t you help me fold the laundry?” My mother said, reaching for her hand and guiding her up the steps. “And Molarsh, your break’s up. I’m paying you by the job, not the hour. That farm isn’t going to weed itself.”

“I’ll get right back to it ma’am,” Molarsh said, stomping back outside. I sighed, taking the back door to the herb box.

The moment I stepped outside, everything was quiet. There were no songbirds, or any scurrying of critters. It was eerily silent. I blinked a bit in the bright sun, momentarily confused. Despite the strangeness, I didn’t feel any fear. I could sense something beckoning for me in the distance. I hesitated, then walked up to the dirt road in front of me, and followed it down the unfamiliar path.

The trail weaved around the forest, until the trees thinned out. I followed it, unsure of where it led. A white misty fog slowly seeped around, clinging to the ground. The sun was still bright high above, but I couldn’t feel its warm heat. There was no breeze, and everything was still. I kept walking, until I came before a bridge.

its so sad there is a nerf wish list 4 the thief . u need a wish list telling u how to use your build against a thief lol thief’s r easy to kill if u do it right . the only class u should have trouble killing a thief with is like an element unless they r running a d/d regen element than the thief will have some trouble

You do realize this is just a joke thread, riiight?

(And please, use proper grammar and punctuation…I had to read your post 3-4 times to understand the gist of it.)

How do you kill a guardian?

in Thief

Arikyali.5804

but could the guardian kill you?
as far as i know killing an average thief is almost impossible.
either you kill him or none dies.
thats why thieves are op.

Valid point, the neverending health guardian can’t kill me… (or at least I haven’t died to one yet)

But their high defense makes it all the more of a challenging fight.

Any build that overly relies on stealth in wvw is cheesy imo. Using that same build in spvp is fine because you’ll lose the point using it. Getting ~80% stealth up time by timing cnd’s off clones is lame, not fun to play against, and it’s really easy to do (no critical decision making necessary).

Oh yeah? Well, I’m a stealthy backstab D/D thief and I don’t care if other people find my tactics cheesy.

From Fine to Masterwork insignias

in Crafting

Arikyali.5804

Looking at the basic crafting guides, they all follow the same idea: craft the components, discover fine quality until you unlock master. Then craft master insignia items, discover until you get the next tier.

Checking around a few guides, it seems that you need about 12 different discoveries – without crafting any components – to reach the next sub-tier. Each sub tier is 25 levels, so each discovery averages to 2.04 levels. But with 4 fine insignia available (not including the first 3), That makes 16 discoveries.

Now to my question…

Fine Insignia use less crafting materials than Masterwork, and the lower tier items are still orange after reaching the next tier. If you assume 1 Masterwork = 3 fine (8 mats/3 mats + thread) wouldn’t it be more efficient to:

Craft the 3 ignored insignia (3 mats x 4 types = 12 discovery) until no longer efficient
Craft the 4 preferred insignia (4 mats x 4 types =16 discovery) until no longer efficient
Craft the masterwork (8 mats x ? types = next tier)

Or is the gain from jumping straight into the next tier despite using more mats > using up all the fine quality discoveries first?

When you kill it, the thing just dies… but if you use one of the handy-dandy little test rifles laying around, the death animation is priceless….

Now I wanna go back and try that…but it sounds like a trap…

I’d prefer it if the champ train was just moved onto a different map. The people running it are probably level 80s…the map’s designed for newcomers.

We could really use those champ trains in Orr. It’s dead. (No pun intended)

NPCs for recounting the living story

in Suggestions

As someone who missed out on large chunks of the Aetherblade, the Queen’s Jubilee, and the conclusion of Frost and Flames (Real life took over), I would really love to have an NPC available to recount the instance events – something they had during the events, but removed after it was concluded. Then we would actually know what happened during the Living Stories we missed.

Perhaps for each living story, there would be an NPC you could speak to, and a menu in descending order for each instance event. The NPC could give a brief description about what happened before the instance, so you wouldn’t be be confused about what was being done in the open world.

These instances would just be a chance to relive the events, and give no rewards. It’d also give people a chance to ‘catch up’ with the current living story and actually know what’s going on.

Living Story is too easy....

I remember having all these difficult fights on my first character’s living story. They were real challenges I enjoyed. I failed one chapter of Living Story so many times my armor actually broke, before finally conquering it.

Doing the living story on a second character, it was disappointing. Every single fight was a walk in the park. There was little to no challenge, and when the champion or veteran went down, I had to ask myself, “that’s it?” I was expecting much, much more.

What happened to the fights?

Sure, this being the second character to have my LS being done, I know what to expect. And my first character was still in ‘newbie’ mode, going into the stories with not-so-great gear, while this second one was spoiled with decent to high quality gear…but really? The fights weren’t that easy as I remember.

What: Stealth attack skills
Why: Special skills just for the thieves, with each weapon having its own unique stealth attack? All these special skills should be removed, since there’s no easy way to counter them from the thief stealth.

(the sad part is that I got the inspiration for this nerf from someone who wanted backstab to be half damage, instead of double damage)

It’s totally not suspicious in any way. Suuuuure. The fact that there’s undead Risen below the bridge, and a dead Asuran nearby, doesn’t help its case. Just an innocent little rabbit? Yeah…

….I think it’s a Risen rabbit.
