Those two would make the “Slayer of All” title; with as little population of them in the game at this current time, very difficult to get.

The spot in Queensdale where the Champion Rotting Oakheart event is has several veteran oakhearts in the area and they respawn quickly. It’s a good place to work on the title.

You get titles for doing stuff like carving up pumpkins, which only took me a few days, or for doing Living Story stuff, but no title for doing something that can take months to do. I would love to have a Slayer of All title for my warrior.

Maybe they should have a kit priced for complete makeover with a name change. But that wouldn’t stop the people who buy and use it and then realize what they really wanted was the lower priced kit. Then we would have those people coming to the forum to complain about it and making tickets to support. No matter what ANet does, someone is not going to read the small print.

Yeah. They aren’t illegal. Even the gold selling sites aren’t illegal. They aren’t breaking laws (unfortunately) just TOS. Which they haven’t agreed to.

Doesn’t hurt to file a ticket to support so maybe they can look at it if they don’t know about it. Lets them see what hacks are out there. However there isn’t anything they can do to them

One thing you can do is check your guild mates. See if anyone has alts they are leveling. Also try asking in map chat when you go to a zone. Some of the people there are leveling alts and would like to hook up with another person to do it.

Gold is hard to get for most people. It’s unlikely they are going to give gold to some random person on a forum. A friend maybe but not a stranger asking for gold when they themselves had to go through the leveling period and scraping for every silver they got.

I was wishing the same myself. You can still get rewarded each time you finish a zone but there are no achievement points. I can see how they wouldn’t want to give the points out per map. People might make alts, clear a low level map, delete and repeat just to get achievement points. But maybe if you didn’t get the points on an alt till the end. When you ding 100%, then you get the map completion rewards and the achievement rewards for doing all POIs, hearts, and vistas. It might make more people interested in leveling alts.

You can guest to 2 other servers a day. Do that and see if you can find one that has people on when you are.

I clicked the skills before this game. Got a new mouse with buttons on the side for this game to make it easier. It took me a couple of weeks, at least, to get used to not clicking and i still occasionally have to look at my mouse buttons.

The way to get gold at your level is to do events and harvest everything you can to sell on the trading post. Buy whatever armor and weapons you can from karma merchants or use drops. Buy armor and weapons with money from the trading post if needed but not more often than every 10 levels or so.

I don’t recommend maxing out the crafting professions right now, that costs money and you can always do it later. When you do do it I recommend this guide as a way to do it the cheapest. http://gw2crafts.net/

You don’t make a lot of gold before max level. After that, the opportunities are much better. So, wait till you reach 80 before worrying about making a lot of gold and buying expensive vanity armor.

You probably need to contact support. Go to the support tab at the top of the page then to ‘ask a question’.

Some people have managed to get it to work if they choose the number of gems, click next then wait 15 seconds. After 15 seconds hit confirm.

Go to a different zone. If I go to Ascalon, nighttime is really dark. If I’m in Shiverpeaks it’s hardly noticeable and if I’m in Kryta, unless it’s midnight, I can’t always tell.

Yeah. It’s much darker in the Ascalon areas at night than the other areas. I was there and really enjoying it. Is strange why it isn’t consistent across the maps.

The closest may be the Peacemaker daggers. Not from the mystic forge though, they are cultural weapons that cost 63k karma each.

I’ll relate a funny story. I wanted to buy a lot of princes doll tonics. So I bought 250. Later I wanted more. It was a bit more expensive but I bought 250 more. Later I checked the price again. It was A LOT more expensive. Did I cause a bubble? Maybe it was a coincidence. Maybe other people started buying. It was right at July 16th.

Aqua Breathers are no armor.. yes as game mechanic they coutn as armor, but in a realistic point seen, they are no armor, they are a tool that is used to be able to breath under water, so that you can dive as long as you want or go hunting in the water freely, without having to worry about drowning and running out of breath.

Gameplay wise it would be an alot smarter and interesting move of Anet to introduce these new mechanics also with 2 interesting new Crafting Jobs.

Armorsmiths can craft already absoliutely more than enough, and Jewelers also.
An Angling Craftign Job would be good, as it could be used to pinally improve the gathering system with Fishing using angling rods and varios types of baits, non living ones as living ones to go fishing for various new “materials”, which could be mainly used for alot of new cooking receipes resorting to all the new fish/crustacean “materials” of an Angler.

The Antiquer could introduce as new gathering tool that could be suited to him the “Shovel” to allow us finally to dig also in the ground for randomous things. Shovels already do exist in the game in cxountless spots and the animations also already exist, so why not make out of them too a new gathering tool that could be crafted by Antiquers, who use them on their adventures on search for new old antique items that they can restaurate, same they could do with “Junk” and come up with it as result with various kinds of backpieces.

That way would receive “Junk” in the game also finally more value,.
What for a normal mans eye is just junk, an Antiquer sees in everything something special. Items with that they can make profit, once they restaurated it first.

Rebreathers take the place of your regular helm underwater. It is your underwater helm. Backpieces, if you check where they are slotted, are in with your rings, earrings and amulets. Furthermore like the other jewelry, backpieces can take exquisite jewels.

Go underwater and look at your helm and check your jewelry slots.

Also, you don’t actually have to have a rebreather to stay underwater. Nothing will happen to you if you don’t have one, other than losing those stats. The only reason they give you a rebreather is for immersion reasons.

Agreed. Especially on the character I have map completion on. I’ve done it and never been able to see the star.

You need to post a ticket number for Gaile to use to see the details. Without that or the friend’s display name at the very least, she can’t help you.

While you can try to get help here you will probably be better off posting in the Tech Support or maybe the Players helping Players forum. This is more the forum for people appealing bans or suspensions or who have lost passwords. Things of that nature.

Targeting is so party members can all attack the same target so they didn’t think it was needed for a solo player. Not saying soloers don’t need to be able to highlight the target in some way but that was probably their reasoning.

Until or unless they change it up, you have to work with the tools they give you.

Since its on the TP and there is no real information on it, I would guess that it’s either random drop or a random exotic from putting rares or exotics in the mystic forge.

If It had a required recipe or was only from a World Boss, I would think by now that information would be in the wiki.

It’s probably high priced because of the skin and its a rare drop.

Queensdale is a good spot. 3 champion events cycle quickly as well as regular events. If you run those events over and over you will level quickly.

Aqua Breathers should be craftable by Anglers, which should also craft Angling Rods and diversive non living angling baits, while living angling baits could be found at shores and in the water or in the ground (wurms)

Back Items should be craftable by “Antiquers” which would also craft “toys” and other usable environmental items

Well, Breathers are considered part of your armor so logically Armorsmiths would make them and backpieces are in a jewelry slot so Jewelers should make those.

You can target enemies even if soloing though a work around. Send an invitation to someone off line (I use a guild member that hasn’t logged on for months). After you have sent the invitation you can then call target and get the crosshair.

Unfortunately there is nothing that they can/will do. After 7 days you can transfer again. If you are willing to delete your characters you can transfer for free at that time.

It’s possible they have no way to do it without an account rollback, which they only offer for hacked accounts.

Yah. You could do a rollback. Just be aware it’s a one time thing. If you get it now and ever get hacked again you won’t be able to have that service again.

Depends if you would rather delete characters or go thru support again. And how much you lost.

There are only slots for basic ingredients. If you check your collection tab you will see there are no slots for refined items.

As to the other, not sure what the problem is. Some need a recipe that you buy from a vender. Or they may need more than one type of refined ingredient. You can always wiki an ingredient and see what is needed.

This is my theory. There seems to be 2 main types of players. One has characters that have a back story and a personality. The character is having the adventure and the person accompanies him. The other wears their characters like a suit. They experience the game but its more like reading a book, it’s more distant. So the first gives the character a real name and the other gives the character a ‘handle’. A non serious name.

So OP, whatever name you prefer depends how you approach the game.

Lots of people do, but it depends on the degree of role playing or immersion you want in the game. Characters names range from frivolous to lore appropriate. So, it’s personal taste.

To do it for free you have to delete your characters. And yes you have to transfer to another server. Also, if you have influence built up in your guild you will lose it as it won’t transfer with you

Yeah. Most of the time skill 3 doesn’t hold them long enough to get the full benefit of smite and unless the mob is stationary there isn’t any reason to use it.

I’m not one of the big money makers but I can suggest these.
If you are inclined to do so, try flipping in the trading post. I’ve never done it but people say its good money.
If not that then:
I run about 5 or 6 of the Meta events most days then sale or salvage the rares and sell the other stuff. That earns a little money. I use this timer and guest to 2 other servers to get them done fast. http://us.gw2stuff.com/en
Check which mats sell well and their locations and farm.
Locate ori nodes and harvest them, have a regular route. If you have high level alts you can park them there.
Of course, sell all your mats on the trading post.

Guild membership is not limited to a single world — a guild can have members from any server, whether in the US or EU. However, the guild’s influence pool and upgrades (including the Guild Vault) are specific to each world, just like a social club would need to acquire separate furniture for each of its branch offices.

It’s a scam mail. They are trying to steal your account.

ANet does not contact you first. And the reason they don’t is emails like that one. It would be too easy then to confuse a contact email from them with a thief’s email. If there is reason, they suspend/ban the account and then wait for the account holder to contact them to try to resolve it.

I’m assuming you got a new password and enabled the IP email verification feature. And that you also did a security sweep of your computer including checking for keyloggers. As long as your computer is clean you shouldn’t have any problems. If you get hacked again you need to take a close look at your computer’s security.

Yes I would definitely need to know whether you can move between regions. I don’t see why not. I have all my chars on a Eur server, but need to move to a NA server. If I delete all my toons, I should be able to choose any servers in NA or Europe, am I correct?

I looked at the wiki link and it didn’t say anything about deleting all chars, unless I missed something.

Try guesting to different servers to find one with a population you like.

Most people are either in certain starter zones getting their daily, doing the meta events or living story right now. Or idling in LA.
