OP’s obvious goal (needed or not) is to get infusion slots for Exotic gear, so I fear all these (very good) suggestions are being shoved aside to continue focusing on the OPs real goal. All the suggestions being made are wasted (IMO), as the OP is likely already aware of them and doesn’t really want those “solutions” to the “dilemma”.

If some content (besides higher Fractals) presents itself in game that requires AR in a more general sense (i.e. Mursaat show back up), I’ll back this request, but until then, it’s simply not needed. It also removes some incentive for pursuing Ascended gear (in a very narrow segment of players), which I doubt Anet wants to take away.

I also find the idea of Fractal player without access to Laurels rather far fetched.

Or a fractal player who doesn’t have pristine fractal relics for that matter. How in the world does anyone play fractals regularly and not have enough to buy rings? I’ve only played a few times and I have pristine fractal relics.

I hit DR once when farming regular events in the Norn starter area a long time ago when I was leveling my necro. All of a sudden I was getting almost nothing in the way of rewards. Just do a few events on a different map on that char for a while.

Not quite. The mini Mr Sparkles was only available if you were able to go to certain conventions, most of them in Europe, during a certain time period. The lama mini is obtained by playing in PvP.

They also banned a number of people for farming endless waves of mobs, they were farming linen and I think it was one of the guild missions.

A very nice skin. It’s similar to the Fiery Dragon sword without being too close in looks. It’s something they could put in for those that want a that sword yet don’t want to play Guild Wars 1 to get it.

There are about 3 threads in the Tech Support forum about this so it seems to be a problem for a number of people. You might read those and see if there is a solution posted.

And then right click on your local connection icon and hit properties. Then you get this list of items, click on the one that says internet protocol version 4 and hit the properties button.

3. Finally this is where you change your DNS settings. You don’t need to change the IP adresses. So on the first fields type 8.8.8.8 and on the second field (alternate) type 8.8.4.4. Hit ok, close all these windows, wait about 20 seconds (sometimes more it depends on the internet conection) to settle up. And try to execute the launcher. If it runs smoothly then it has been fixed!

Only reason that occurs to me if he doesn’t have the gold to cover the fees. In that case I would hold on to it till I had the gold and then sell it.

Maybe make them non account bound instead so they can be sold on the trading post.

Another thing you can try, is to run a client repair. Perhaps you have corrupted files.

If you want a lot of bank space and don’t mind switching chars, buy a character slot. With 15 slot bags added that’s 80 spaces, as opposed to a bank tab’s 30. Park at a jumping puzzle for daily chest as well as an easy daily JP and toward monthly JP points. When you want to get stuff in/out of its inventory you can go to WvW and access a crafting table there. As long as you don’t go through a portal to the main map, when you log out you will return to the JP.

I have a couple of mules, it’s where I keep items I don’t use commonly.

I’ve seen a few Burntfur in game. Whatever first name you’ve chosen and then Smokefur.

If anyone who reads this is having this problem, I’m going to quote another player for a work around of this bug.

I mentioned this elsewhere, but, until it gets unstuck if it is bugged out again, you can “guest” to another server temporarily to try for a tutorial version on another server where it is not bugged. Others have had to use this method to get around the bugged tutorial boss in the past.

• From your character select screen, click on “World Selection” in the bottom left next to “Log Out”.
• Select a server other than the one you are currently on and then click the “Guest” button in the bottom right (not the “Transfer” button!).
• Then log into your character that is in the tutorial zone and see if the event is unstuck on the server you selected to guest to.

You can only choose two different worlds to guest to in a 24 hour period, so that means there is a limit of 2 chances to find a non-bugged version of the tutorial zone for the next 24 hours (hopefully it would be fixed by that time). :\

Wouldn’t hurt to make a bug report then, even if you don’t want a refund. That’s the best way to let ANet know of problems with anything.

I haven’t had any for some time. Then I make a new char today and before I leave the story instance I get 4 in a row. I don’t recall seeing other chars in that instance and it really made me wonder if they have a program that lets them see level 1 characters.

One looked like a hacked account but the other 3 were obvious gold seller accounts with alphabet soup account names.

If it has been 3 days or longer, you can post your friend’s ticket number in the thread Tickets for review-3 days and older. If it’s been less than 3 days then they want you to wait and give then time to work on it.

Hopefully they can fix your friend’s problem soon.

I personally would level cooking. You can get to level 400 with mostly using karma food.
http://www.gw2crafts.net/cooking_karma.html and it’s fairly cheap. After that you can use the cooking mats you harvest to make yourself level 80 food which is always useful.

The rest of it, I wouldn’t bother until or unless you decide to make a Legendary or ascended gear. If you don’t have exotics yet you can ask a guildie to craft level 80 exotics for you if you supply the mats or put in a buy order to get as cheaply as possible.

I’m always very suspicious of emails that tell me I need to verify something within a set time period.

Anyway, that one looks like a scam. The ncsoft accounts remain active even if they haven’t been touched for years. And there is certainly no rush to verify within 24 hours. They’ve also said repeatedly that they don’t contact you first. You contact them and if they do send you information first it doesn’t have a reply link.

The golem bankers from the digital deluxe were originally account bound at launch. They were converted to soulbound to the original character after a few months. The reversion back was undoubtably unintended. If it was a bug, they might have fixed it, removing all your other golem bankers and giving you one in its place.

Maybe the Lion Guards are guarding it because it’s a piece of evidence against Evon Gnashblade. He was more concerned about getting his trading post goods out of LA during the attack than the people getting killed around him. Suspiciously concerned imo. Yeah. I heard that about the 400 to 500 crafting, if you use it you will lose money.

But I don’t know if you can reasonably expect a basic program like this to be able to consider market trends and upcoming release information. It’s good enough for what it does, get you leveled at a minimum cost, if that’s all you want from it.

From the phrasing of other similar posts, it seems the answer is can not remove the extra slot from your account.

It takes a fair amount usually to get a ticket. Typically about 40 to 50 keys. However you get free bank accesses, revive orbs, trading post accesses, merchant accesses, boosters and other items as well as a ticket for a weapon skin for yourself or sell for about 100 gold. (If you get a ticket in 50 runs and sell it for 100 gold then that’s 2 gold for each 25 minutes or so key run. Not too shabby, and not adding in the gem value of the other items, about 200 or more gems worth each run).

You don’t have any of the 20 level scrolls from a birthday gift yet?

If not, then there is the easy one in Southsun. You can go through the portal in LA and it only takes a couple of minutes to reach the chest.

Make a character. Use one of the 20 level scrolls if you have one. Park it at a jumping puzzle. The Pirate one in Lion’s Arch has 4 items per opening rather then 2 or 3. If your char is level 20 to (I think) level 30, there is a chance per day of a silver doubloon worth 1 gold. Also good toward daily salvage, mats and luck.

You can use it for storage, an cheap extra 80 slots. If you need to visit the bank to take items out or put in, you can go to WvW and run to a crafting place and access your bank there. When you exit WvW from the WvW panel or by going to character select you will be back at the jumping puzzle.

Also good for dailies and monthly JP requirements.

For the JP, make your char a Mesmer. It will have portal and you can use that to port people to that chest. ^^

I have the Bloodlust sigil on both my land and underwater sets of weapons. I don’t lose the stack when I go in and out of water.

Buy orders are for people who are willing to wait. If you got into an undercutting war then you are being too impatient. That’s not a fault of the trading post and the way buy orders are set up. Just put up a buy order and leave it. It may take a few hours but it’s always filled unless the price was at a too low level.

I read the line “(WvW most of the time and World Boss).” as referring to his play-style rather than where he was getting the dyes.

If OP is getting them, he is getting them from the above listed ways, not from lucky drops ingame. I’ve gotten a number of them from black lion chests, which is probably where OP is getting his.

The race change kit can be a insane Asuran scientist. He has discovered how to transfer souls from one body to another with his Soul Transmutation system.

He has a selection of NPCs who have agreed, for the small sum of 1000 gems, to undergo this Soul Transmutation. After looking them over, you select the NPC of your choice, pay him, and the 2 of you go into the Transmutation chambers. With a press of a button, the 2 souls exchange. The NPC with your old look goes through a portal and disappears. You leave with his appearance (and his generic armor appearance and weapons). (Or it could require both of you to strip and the gear is not changed).

This Transmutation is only allowed for characters who have either finished their personal story or have got it to the level where the stories merge together.

After that you can use a gem store kit to get the appearance you want.

Edit: it will still be a problem with cultural armor as people will remove it beforehand without transmutating it first and then realize it’s unwearable on another race. Perhaps it can be set up so that the game checks your personal inventory and bank to look for cultural armor and if found, change the appearance to a generic starting armor.

Well, I have abyss and celestial and I bought T3 cultural armor for the Emperor title. Once I get my Legendary I will buy the human’s flower hairstyle and put it all together to make an ensemble that will have people saying, “OMG. Not another one!”
