You can’t change the original ticket but you can add information to it from the auto reply (which had the ticket you sent) by replying to it like any regular email. Anytime you need to answer or add new information you hit reply and then type it in at the top.
Mirkwise waypoint in Brisbane is broken, and there are a number of waypoints that vines have grabbed hold of, the Earthshake waypoint in Frostgorge for example.

I’m just saying, I’ve heard complaints that certain common drops did not have any practical use so they keep piling up (the solution being to give them more useful, repeatable purposes), but I’ve never once heard ANYONE complain that anything should be dropping less than it is.

I’m sure I can find more if I wanted to search longer but that’s what a few minutes got me. While most people do call for additional uses, in the ~2 years I’ve played I’ve seen a number of posts about increasing/decreasing drop rates of various items.
It’s been a while since I saw one of these threads… it works the way it has worked since launch.
Some people are new to the game. Others might not have tried to get the monthly before and didn’t bother to notice when it changed. Or they’ve always before gotten it early and didn’t bother to notice the exact time it changed.
It changes to the next month’s at reset on the last day of each month.

This thread is 5 months old and about an exploit where people took advantage of an event with almost infinitely spawning mobs to farm linen. ANet will stop farming where people are standing in one spot killing infinitely respawning mobs. This type of farming can flood the economy with certain mats and crash the prices.
Iirc most of the people who were banned were later reinstated after a 3 day suspension.
So yeah, I like that whole portal stone idea. Too bad I have so many sylvari and Asuran characters. You know a charr, human or norn can portal into their home instance and they have all sorts of merchants.
Sylvari you can’t use the portal stone and say, buy a salvage kit, because you don’t have a vendor in there. Admittedly you can sell to the repair guy.
Why should some home instances have more options than others? Why isn’t there a merchant in the Sylvari or Asuran home instance.
What, only the big people get merchants? lol

It can be set for level 400 or level 500. The first part shows you everything you will need to have for that crafting to get to max level and there is a toggle before each section to show what you need for each tier.
If you are asking for a cumulative listing for all the crafting at once you are not going to find that.

Wiki says the Salma instance has an armorsmith, Helatia and a weaponsmith, Balthamus. There also is a merchant that sells Belcher’s Bluff kits, Josef, as well as a Belcher’s bluff Champion, Maddie.
In Guild Wars 1 you could access your bank (the Xunlai chests) and move freely around the town with it open and accessible on your UI. Sigh. That was a nice, useful feature. I was disappointed to lose that in this game.
I have a hunch that Anet has the retirement of zones on some timetable now (so zones will not persist for long periods of time). Gone are the days of harvesting T6 with 8 characters for 2 weeks with no node changes.
I farm Frostgorge on an almost daily basis on 8 chars. I write down the IP (and node sites) on my iPad each time I switch chars. My notes indicate that each IP lasts less than 24 hours. Each day there is a new set of IPs and the rare times I have landed on an old IP the nodes are not in the same places which means that map collapsed at some point.
My theory:
Frostgorge usually has about 3 shards at the same time. The client seems to have a preferred shard to send chars to but after a while that one is filled and the client switches to another preferred shard. The first shard has fewer people sent to it and as the population drops even fewer are sent till no more are sent there. The people in it finish what they were doing and leave. Eventually the last person leaves and the map collapses.
If you party up with someone you can use its features to stay on the same IP for each alt.
The two of you get on a map and find all the nodes, noting them down on the app. One switches to an alt while the other waits. If the alt land on a new IP map, use the feature “join party member”. The other party member switches to an alt. Joins you if necessary. The two of you are now on the map you previously mapped and can run directly to the sites.
I’m preparing myself to be ticked off about Earthshake Waypoint in Frostgorge. It now has a vine wrapped around it and that’s the waypoint (outside of the LA waypoint) that I use the most since I keep my alts in that map.

Is that the site of the old bank? When the bank was broken during the attack, there was a lot of trash and stuff around. Without going into the game and see, I think it’s just debris.
I never actually noticed that, but I agree it’s kind of a silly oversight.

While it still may not be worth it to you, the real value in the new Home Portal Stone is you get to port BACK to where you were. That is the best part.
So, just like getting to your Borderland WvW area? Only it’s not free, and character bound?
It’s not free, it’s character bound, it takes up a slot in your inventory, you don’t have access to the crafting sites and through them your bank and its inventory. You don’t have access to the trading post, a laurel vendor, most merchants or for some races, armor repair. You don’t have the ability to harvest more than a handful of nodes (at most), play, loot or do events. If you leave the instance to do any of this, you will not be able to return to the spot you came from.
Other than that, they’re identical.
If someone doesn’t want to pay 900 gems for the ability to port back to where you came from after going afk and if WvW isn’t an option because of queues, there is PvP. Leaving it returns you to the same site. It’s free. And there is the Hall of Monuments. The portal stone is free, available to every person, has a portal directly to LA and returns you to the site you came from.

While I know that support has to follow the rules issued to them and all, this statement is so canned and so not to the point as to sound completely clueless. If there is nothing in the instance, if it costs you 900 gems/$11USD/~116 gold to go there and you have to leave the instance to “take advantage of every other NPC” (which means you lose the other selling point of the stone, which is return to where you came from) then what is the point of this portal? You can skip the ~116 gold cost and the 2 loading screens for a ~2 silver per port and 2 loading screens.

Check your wardrobe. If they aren’t in your wardrobe and but say account bound then I would contact support.

If it’s not in your wardrobe while being account bound they might be willing for you to delete them and they send you 2 more. This is something you might have to suggest to them as an option, but it hinges upon the items not being in your wardrobe. If they are in your wardrobe, I strongly doubt Support will do anything for you as they can not remove items from your wardrobe and you now have full use of them.
Maybe it’s called Dry Top because the centaurs there are firm Prohibitionist. We will need to wait for Skritt to be a playable race before their home city Wet Bottom is put in. All those drunken Skritt will be inside the numerous bars there.
I don’t think most of the items make sense price wise either way, gold or cash. I do budget $20 USD a month, but I use that on costumes, armor and other permanent items. Those also seem rather pricy but at least they don’t disappear after you use them.
The home instance portal stone, imo is really overpriced for what you are now getting.
I could see them selling this thing if they had already sold support NPCs such as a Banker, merchants, trading posts, crating tables, etc… It rather seems odd to sell this without a real use for going to that area. If it’s just for nodes, it’s a really minor convenience. If I just want to afk in a combat free area there is PvP, WvW and the HoM; which are all free.
Much, much faster to farm gold and buy from others. You can run dungeons and buy several a day while not getting even getting one to drop after hours of farming.
It wasn’t ANet who broke the waypoint. It was this dragon, see. And it reached up through hundreds of miles of dirt, cuz it’s a plant as well as being a dragon. And it can see these waypoints through all the dirt cuz it has magic, and it reached over and ate the magic that powered the waypoint.

Seriously people. It hasn’t even been 24 hours. You will have at least 2 weeks to get these things and probably much longer.
I have never once asked ANet to decrease the drop rate for anything. I have on many occasions asked them to increase the usefulness of stuff though. I have about 50K units of bloodstone dust at this point, I do not want them to make bloodstone dust drop less often, but I definitely want them to add recipes by which I can make a reasonable return from them.

I have seen posts asking for various account bound materials to have the drop rate adjusted, up for those who aren’t getting as many as they want and down for others who are done, up when the material is new and down when the material is old. It’s worth it convenience wise, especially if you do a lot of farming. It’s also worth it if you only buy the karma orichalcum tools and are trying to save karma. NEVER click leave guild on your personal guild. You will leave the guild on all characters and unless you have someone else as a guild member who can invite you, that guild is gone. Permanently.
Even if you do get have a friend as a guildie and he still plays and can invite you back, you will not come back as guild leader and your friend will not be able to promote you unless you have given him the ability to also kick you (admin lower ranks)*.Which means you have to have someone you really trust or you might put a lot of gold and mats into the bank one day and find yourself kicked out the next. If you are not guild leader then that means you might not be able to spend influence to improve your guild, depending on how the permissions are set up.
*admin lower ranks- it says demote current members only from lower ranks. However in a guild I was in, a member was given this option and promptly kicked all the guild officers, including the guild leader, and most of the members so I would be cautious about giving someone this option.
It actually amuses and depresses me when I see other guys acting like they have animosity or get grossed out seeing other guys in revealing clothes and then acting like that’s normal. It isn’t – if you don’t find guys attractive your opinion should be neutral, not against.

I don’t think it will work that way for key runners. If it transports them to the home instance it will be the one with the nodes, not the story instance. They would have to leave it then re-enter it from outside. No time savings at all.
I’m not certain if it is the same for everyone, but in the past for me, if I ever had a story step in my home instance then I was required to complete that step in it before I could enter into the basic instance to mine the nodes.
I do not think it is possible to enter into the non-story step racial home instance while a story step is currently active in the home instance.
Again, I’m not certain, but it is possible that the teleportation stone will automatically place you into the story instance of the home instance if the current story step takes place inside of the home instance (based on my own experience with being unable to enter into the non-story version while a story step is active in the instance).
I seem to recall seeing double options to enter Salma when partied up with another person. An option to join the other person when they enter the story instance and under that an option to enter the non story instance Salma. (I approached the door after he did so his option came up and then the second one appeared under it).
I admit I’m not positive, it was some time back and I didn’t have any reason to take special notice. If that person is available to check, I’ll try to do so in a day or two but this thread will probably old by then.
Well, from your home instance you can go into the city and waypoint for free to trading post, etc., then port back from where you came.
If I hadnt a permanent royal pass already, i would propably buy it. IT will save you lots of gold on waypoint costs.
Except if you read the description, you have to be in your home instance to teleport back to where you entered from (otherwise you teleport into your home instance again from the outside). The act of using your local gate, going back into your instance from your racial city makes that where you entered from…hence, you get teleported right back out to your racial city, not your original teleport location out in the wild.
Not sure if this is a bug or intended behavior. Fairly lackluster compared to the other convenience teleport items. Unless you’re a norn with vendors right there in your home instance. :p
Having said that, I’m all for upgrading my home instance to my own custom convenience location. I have the keys to the castle. I just need the castle to go with them.

If I get one and sell it for 3500 gold. I’m buying myself a Legendary so people can be impressed with how hard I farmed (oops, Freudian slip) threw money at the game (let me rephrase) worked to get it (that’s better).
You can always ask for ANet to show up on your thread and detail their finances and how many gems they sell, but the odds are vanishingly small they will do so. Companies simply don’t go onto forums and hand out financial information.
The problem is that the PvE servers and their events were not made to have PvP alongside them. The WoW PvP servers and their quests are made with PvP in mind.
The Guild Wars 2 events are made with cooperation in mind. Imo the events would be constantly griefed and caused to fail. People would not be able to level using the event system.
The only real way for ANet to handle it, imo, would be to release a server without events, which would be boring, or never address the broken or griefed events, leaving them unfixed and people on those servers complaining about neglect and a poor job setting up world PvP.
Any idea the time?…well assuming you would have said if you known. But if some one knows that would be nice.

I’m not dead sure there is a specific time. From what I’ve seen from different threads, it seems to be a gradual lifting of restrictions rather than a, ‘one day you can’t and the next you can’.
This new server would have to be outside the realm of the MegaServer, and could not participate in WvW. I suppose if it was kept completely separate from the rest of the game, it would be fine, but I can’t see the Devs using the resources it would take to implement it.
Still, one never knows. /shrug
Inculpatus brings up a couple of good points here. WvW is sets of 3 servers. Any PvP server would not have access to WvW. How many people would sign up for a world PvP server if it meant no WvW?
It would also be separate from the Megaserver system.The meta events such as Teq and 3 headed wurm would be subject to constant greifing. Most meta events would probably end up undoable because of fighting.
Don’t the guild weapons put the guild icons on them? If you want a shield like that, maybe get a personal guild, make a similar icon if possible then see what the guild weapons look like.
There have been other people who have reported this problem without it not being forum related. The threads they posted on ended without them saying if they fixed it or how.
There does seem to be at least one “game forgets password bug” but the one I know of hits users of iPads and iPhones with particular IOSs who use these devices to access the forums.
If you haven’t already done so, I would run a security check on your computer anyway. Then change the password on your computer’s email.
If you log into the forums using a particular device, you can try not logging in for a while or using a different device. See if this goes away. I had this bug on my iPad and it was causing the game to lose my password. I switched to another device to access the forums and it stopped.
