They could have at least made the titles specific to the duplicate legendary weapons you had. Meanwhile a bunch of people got to trade their duplicate legendary weapon for a new legendary of equal or lesser value.

1 – If you use the title, when another player see your legendary, he’ll know from which one you got.
2 – Legendary value is determined by the players, game-wise all legendaries worth the same, except between 2hd and 1hd weapons.

Now you are late for EP1, but you can still play the rest of the episodes when they get released, just like today’s EP2 .
Also, you can buy any previous episode for 200 gems, you can use in game gold to buy gems too.

Dodge jump is ok from Anet and “working as intended”.

They can proc even at the same time in 1 hit, each sigil now have its CD.

Try to attack an ambient mob with both sigils, you’ll see the lightning and the fireblast at the same time against the poor thing.

You need to kill those veterans, also they aren’t that hard at all.

Yes you can use both if you want.
Sigils got separated cooldowns, so if you want to use fire+air you can, I particularly use that combination.

Ogden also appear in 1 of the Norn personal story steps.

I would go with Air + Force.
I don’t like bloodlust, every time you change map or get downed or enter water it resets, while force is always there, and air is just a really good sigil imo.

EDIT: as mentioned, the cons of sigil of air is that you NEED to be able to crit to use it, so most world bosses and constructions isn’t affected by it, also it only apply in 1 target every 3 seconds.

There is no Queue system in PvE, in WvW there is and you can even see your position in the queue.
I can’t imagine why Anet doesn’t implement that same system in PvE.

I also turn double-tab off, I like JPs and double-tap on = death so many times.
I bind “v” to a mouse button, I let there because it makes easier to dodge-jump with the “v” as the dodge button.

Yeah, you can already dodge to any direction you want, and you can bind a key to dodge (the default is “V”).

As Xenon said, just press the direction you want to go using “WASD” and press the dodge, or even double tap the direction.

Only drops from monsters, and exclusively some chests from the PvP Track rewards, but it works because those chests emulate the drop of a mob.

We can’t say for sure why not, maybe because Anet wanted the chests to have a more regular drop among players instead of changing too much because of MF%.

I want to recreate my GW1 ranger, and my main weapons was spear + shield.

Yes, you can apply the skin in any weapon, as long as you have the skin unlocked.
I use my Frostfang skin as much as I can, my ranger, necro and warrior are very happy.

It is hard to find a race/profession that goes against lore.
Sylvari Necro, we have 2 great examples, Killeen and Trahearne, so that is more than fine.

A Norn mesmer is fine specially following raven or snow leopard spirits, the goal of a norn is to be a legend, the way to reach it depends of the individual, there is a story from the GW2 norn week (I’ll make a really short version of that) of a norn that trained with a snow leopard shaman and later went to kill another norn, he trained to not need to sleep/rest for a long time and killed the other norn while he was sleeping, that doesn’t sound like a “norn-way” at all, but he reached his goal for sure and that all that matters.

Asura praise intelligence and any class can fulfill that role, one of the leaders of the Vigil is an asura, Warmaster Efut.

Human … well, everything can go with a human.

Charr casters (mesmer, necro, ele) is a bit harder to convince, since those are more likely to happen in the flame legion, but among them those are totally fine.

I use axe MH for general PvE and for zerg/medium group WvW attacks.
Fire and Air sigils gives a good damage and works kinda like AoE for the ranger, also the extra 150 ferocity from Honed Axes helps a lot with axe #4, in mid zerg a path of scar with tons of might, that extra 10% crit damage DO counts.

In dungeons I keep my mh axe but I use a GS in my other set for bosses, but the axe against occasional trash mob is great, I know a sword would be better than GS, but I just can’t get to like it, I think that GS is an overall better weapon (not stronger, better)

Besides all that, it is a 900 range weapon, only LB can go further and you can use the off hand as you like, extra dodge, fire field, blast + booms, interrupt + reflect, you call it.

Apparently you don’t WvW much, fall damage traits can save you many times.
Also, if you are a mesmer and want to make some strategic portals for siege building, and some surprise attacks, the fall damage trait is a must.
Players that like JP use it, many times it is the difference of just a few seconds away to try a jump again and death and need to start all over again.
Yes, it is a very restrict trait with few uses, but there are plenty of traits that are plain useless.

Yeah, those cases are bug, soon or later will be fixed.

No, all ascended gear are account bound and it always keep that way.

For 1v1 usually you go with condition build, but for that you would need to change every piece of gear, so I won’t recommend that.
Since you have ascended zerker LB and GS I’ll suggest you to look for a power build, also try to change those Magi’s pieces, those stats doesn’t fit the overall build at all.

I’m not good at WvW roaming power builds, but I would build something around Markmanship and Nature Magic.

I meant if your weapons and armor are Berzerker, Valkyrie, Clerics, and so on.

Usually there are the lvl 60 version of the food you want, buy it and pop like candy, those are really cheap and almost as good.

I was not really forcing in game religion, while I totally agree that the human gods didn’t create the humans, they just transported them to Tyria, the Pale Tree was planted by a human, Pale Tree didn’t created the Sylvari, the Sylvari just … “bloom” from the Pale Tree, something older and currently not known created that seed.

I just think (my opinion) that Melandru is a more powerful entity than Pale Tree, but that is other subject, there is even a topic about it in the Lore sub-forum.

Well … there is no official source for that info, so you can only count with our words.
I don’t think that RNG use your class as parameter for the results, I leveled all classes to 80 and I’ve never seen a drop pattern with different classes.

Would help to know which stats your gear has, so we can help on how to change traits, runes, and so on.

Also, post this on the ranger sub forum would be a better idea.

Just to complement, the story unlock is account-wide as Ashandar said, but the story progression is per character, just like the Personal Story.

No idea, I also previewed the mask a good time ago and the same thing happened, so didn’t buy it, I thought it was solved already, it happened over 1 year ago.

Per week … about 0.25 exotics., maybe even less.
Last month I got more ascended drops than exotics, 1 Settler’s weapon and 2 rings against a Cobalt drop.

Make subtitles is REALLY hard.
I used to make GW2 videos for Brazilian audience, so I had to make subtitles in many in game dialog, and that was about 70% of my video editing time, I can’t imagine what would to be to make subtitle for the over 30 mins talk.

New weapons I really doubt, what was mentioned a time ago, but it was just a talk with devs, nothing concrete was discussed, is unlock the current weapons for the classes, like ranger use rifle and pistol, warrior use shortbow, necro use greatsword and so on.

Even in WvW LB is very iffy.
The problem with a build made around LB is that it doesn’t offer good group utilities and in some situations makes you not get the utilities your party provide, making you less efficient than the other classes.

The current stack meta makes range builds not work well in dungeons and WvW zerg fights, and ranger end in 2 bad spots in those scenarios, if you stay in the stack your LB damage won’t be good and since you’ll usually be a glasscannon you’ll die easily, if you stay at range you’ll cause more damage, but will lose the buffs you could get from the group/party and lose potential damage.

Most of those problems disappear with melee builds, but then you won’t be an archer.

Many topics and suggestions was made to polish the LB, it is a matter of wait and see now.

I was thinking more lore-wise referring to Zomorros but looking at the game economy, the vast majority of losers pays for the few winners.

I’m with Elothar on this subject.
I have 8 characters, 2 of them finished the PS and the rest are at least in their lvl 60ish PS step.
In general the PS was nice, a few aspects could be better, like the dialogues using that weird face to face mechanic, and the infamous Zhaitan battle, but overall for a MMO it was a good experience.

Get a precursor from the Mystic Forge is a gamble, you may get luck and get it in a few tries, or spend thousands of gold trying to get a precursor that cost hundreds, but in the end the house always wins, no matter or what.
