I think that your country would need to have a publisher willing to translate everything to your language and maybe even create a server for your country.
Here in Brazil blizzard released WoW fully translated and voiced in portuguese, even the monthly payment fee is suited to brazilian standards. Here blizzard charges something like 6 dollars per month from their subscription.
In gw2 there is not much group activity to do with guilds other than zerging in wvw and guild missions. I think gw2 is really lacking group content, in the previous mmo i played we had guild vs guild every sunday, there was a ranking where the best guilds were awarded with some bonus and stuff every week.
I remember reading somewhere that angryjoe stopped playing gw2 because there wasn’t much stuff to do with his guild.
When i went to get my explorer achievement i searched on the map for all the grey areas i had left, and then compared with the wiki’s map to see if that region was supposed to be grey or if there was a region with a name. If you see in the wiki’s map all those 175 areas in kryta’s maps have a name.
I want to make a comment but i don’t want to sound like an annoying troll…
…
Oh kitten it!
It would be much faster if you didn’t click all your skills with the mouse
Sorry, but i had to say that.
PS: i’ve just read the comments from his video, so he does that because he broke one of his arms and he is playing with one hand.

There is this youtube channel that i started to watch thieves’s lupicus solo videos, from this i discovered that thieves can also solo the light orbs in arah p3

Scholar runes are the best for pve, and if you use healing signet it will be very easy to keep your hp above 90% most of the time. I recommend you pick the fast hands minor trait, it makes your warrior’s combat style much more fun.
I recommend this video about warrior pve build, also in his channel you will see videos of dungeon speedruns and other guides
Zerk warrior is already op, you already have too much regeneration blocks evades and stuff. Go 30 25 0 0 15 and mix berserker with soldiers, or make a full set of knights armor if you have enough gold.
A zerk warrior actually improves the group’s survivability by killing stuff faster and rallying downed allies. A “tank” warrior is just useless in dungeons.
pve build? wvw?
For berserker warriors longbow does more damage than rifle, and skill 3 hits for a lot of damage. Plus the fire field is great if your group is a bit more organized in order to blast it.
If you really like to speedrun dungeons you should lvl up another class. Even in a power build necros are not that great compared to other classes. But you can stomp those pve noobs on wvw and pvp though.
If you pop a banner of strenght and use signet of rage and “for great justice” and stack with bloodlust sigils you will get close to 4000 atack.
If you only do pve you should switch to the meta build, which is 30 25 0 0 15
Basically those videos you see with high numbers they have 25 stacks of might against a boss with 25 stacks of vulnerability, and on top of that they have the banners, frost spirits, fury, food, bloodlust stacks and so on.
You also can’t salvage weapons with that zenith skins that we got with ap chests, also those wvw skins make your weapon non-salvageable.
Maybe you placed a buy order on the tp and the item you bid for hasn’t arrived yet? You should check your tp history.
Getting a group for arah is not difficult, you are only seeing groups selling spots because they take too long to fill. If you are experienced and really know how to run arah paths you will have no trouble making or getting a group. Now if you are still learning it may get complicated because people usually only want experienced, but you can ask for help from the dungeon mentors, there is a thread sticked on dungeon forums about then.
You dont have to use that mask.
Also, if you want to use an equipment that is soulbound to another character you just need to transmute it to a white item, it will make it account bound. You can do that to equip the necro’s masks for example, those are my favorite for light armor, or you can equip a thief’s starter hood on an engineer or ranger.
Thank you scarlet!
+1
I think necros weren’t designed to be played with power builds, i leveled a necro to lvl 80 and i’m using the dagger build, but its just awful in my opinion, it has the same auto atack from the thief but without the backstabs and heartseekers and other fun stuffs. My power necro feels much inferior than my thief or even my warrior.
Staff is kinda lame for pve mesmer, the meta build for then uses sword, but its great for elementalists.
(slow clap to ANet)
They may as well remove the supposed bonuses, they don’t really add up to much for the PvE player anyways.
The only wvw bonus i really miss is the crafting one, i think my server used to get 12% or 15% crafting bonus on fridays, but i guess i could try to lvl up my crafting in wvw to get the bonus.
1) Ranger
2) Ranger
3) Necromancer
One year ago ANet promissed a complete revamp of all dungeons, they started with AC, but then the dungeon team got disbanded, thats why we still have these same problems on the dungeons since beta, and they will not get fixed any time soon.
When i started playing dungeons i didn’t like skipping either, specially because of some mobs that can spam cc, but it is really the dungeon design that forces the players to skip trash mobs. In arah for example, in that ramp before getting to lupicus, if you want your group to clear every single one of those elite mobs plus that Champion you will spend at least half an hour doing it, and you will be risking getting wiped by then.
So, basically players skip trash mobs because of bad dungeon design, the fractals and the aetherblade path and the old mai trin dungeon don’t have this problem.
If you have problems with skipping stuff just equip every single stun breaker you class have before skipping

There is already another thread going on about these same topics you mentioned, please dont make multiple posts about the same subject.

This is a good engineer build for dungeons, it uses bombs and grenades
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlemZ_6Uw-8
I recommend using skale venom consumable with that build, you will be able to stack weakness easily
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Skale_Venom_
I want to craft Juggernaut too, but just looking at the price of the silver doubloon makes me depressed. I guess i need to buy another character slot and lvl up a lvl 25 toon just to farm this thing.
What Sir Isaac said. Dungeons are a great way to farm gold, and you get lots of loot and champ bags running then too.
But please, dont use a WvW build in your dungeon runs, try to use a meta build for your class or make a build as close to a meta build as possible. Try to be an useful member of your group and not just be carried by then.
I think the best servers for pve is Blackgate and Tarnished Coast. Blackgate is full right now, so you cant transfer to it. Tarnished Coast is the unoficial roleplay server.
It doesnt make sense ANet closing the path for the players. The mobs are all still there, they didnt delete the places where we run, they just removed one bridge and kept the gates closed. I think they should re-open that path, even with the bugged boss.
I couldn’t advance in the tunnel. The gate was closed.
I managed to get through the invisible walls this time, but the fontain’s buff is not working anymore, i coudn’t survive the run through the swarms. I would need a thief to make the run to Vevina.
Today i managed to pay a visit to the old TA f/u, unfortunately i couldn’t get through an invisible wall, and they removed that bridge before the fontain with that swarm’s puzzle. Here some pics.
I noticed that SE p3 now has invisible walls on that skip on the barricades before the boss who inflicts burning on you, where you need to cleanse it at the fontains. Did they really added invisible walls there or its just me that suck at jumping those barricades?
I’ve never seen a picture of that legacy armor. Does it look cool?
All mmos are more expensive on the pre-order. SWTOR and Rift had subscription fee, ESO will probably get much cheaper after one year. The companies use the hype of the new mmo to make money.
But in Rift they give you some achievements the longer you pay the subscription fee, along with mounts and armor skins and pets, but if i’m not mistaken ANet gives you a gift on every month that you purchage gems with money, at least i got that sun kite from the last time i bought gems.
What is a spy kit? I checked the wiki and cannot find it.
Its the ash legion sky kit, you buy it from a heart in plains of ashford
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ash_Legion_Spy_Kit
It gives 10 secs of stealth if you stand still, if you move you lose the stealth.
There is the harpy feathers, that give 3 secs of stealth and you can move, but it got nerfed and now has a 5 secs cooldown, in the past you could just spam then and skip everything in dungeons easily
I noticed that you put sigil of force on both you scepter and shield. 2 sigils of force dont stack together, but you can use force+night for example.
Map completition can be done all by yourself. There are some cases where you need some help, for example there is a skill point in cursed shore that is guarded by a champion, you may need someone to agro the champion while you pick the skill point, but you can try to pick by yourself by using a spy kit.
In Malchor’s leap there is another skill point that is guarded by a flying boss (i forgot the name) that teleports to you when you get close to the skill point. There is one skill point underwater in malchor’s leap that is tricky too, its guarded by a veteran and there is a burrow that keeps poisoning you and they respawn quite fast.
Other than that i dont remember any other examples where i needed someone to help me.
So basicaly you need some spy kits and harpy feathers and you’re done. You can use other consumables like the embers, pet whistles, those sylvari turrets and that boulder consumable that you buy on caledon forest that people used to perma stun bosses in dungeons.

I saw people complaining about gw2 not being alt friendly after the dungeon rewards got account bound. Before that you could farm all the tokens you needed from a dungeon to gear up an alt much faster, you only had to switch characters at the end of the run to get the 60 tokens plus xp, after the changes it got much slower to farm tokens from one dungeon.
You could also farm world bosses on different characters with that system. Then they introduced wvw ranks that are character bound, which made alts less desirable to play in wvw. In other mmos you have an wardrobe system, where you can put the skins you purchased to be used on any character at any time, without consuming or transmuting or whatever.
Fractal reward level used to be character bound, but they changed that, but the ascended grinding is too time gated, making it too boring to try to gear up alts in full ascended stuff.
I think what bothers many players is that stacking on bosses doesnt look very pretty. Its like what Nemisis said in his video, if you were going to make a video advertising GW2 with a boss fight, Kholer for example, would you record your group fighting him in that arena showing all his atacks and his pull or would you record your group stacked behind a pillar with that bad camera and melting him in 10 secs?
But all mmos have those strategies, in the previous mmo i played it had rooms with lots of mobs in dungeons, so the tank had to run around all of then to pull agro and circle around making a compact ball of mobs, so then the dps melee players could go to the center of that ball and start doing aoe, damaging all the mobs since the melee classes had short range aoe, the mages could do aoe on the ball too but mages had much larger aoe radius.
Post your funny screenshots from ingame. It can be anything. Here’s mine!
What i find funny in the second Picture is that you took it while buying an arah p2 run, and that the seller skipped Lupicus XD
We could use that pic to report that seller for exploiting.
Maybe you changed the language of your game? I’ve seen that happen to people before, that they changed the language and the game downloaded a 3GB of files for the new language.
I downloaded the patch. It had only 60MB. I dont know what they updated though.
What foofad said. If you want to do a more supportive role use the hammer build that is shown in the link of foofad’s post. Hammer will give perma protection for your party, which is more efficient than the heals you get from the mace, and you dont need to use gear with healing power for that.
You can buy a full set of knights gear if you have enough gold, or mix soldier with berserker gear.
In gw2 pve you need to learn to do support with aegis, stability, purging flames for condition cleanse and fire field, might stacks and so on, you won’t be effective for your team if you just make a bunker healbot guardian with low dps, you need to bring all your utilities and also your dps.
And its good for you to learn how to play with a dps build right now while you are new to the game, this way you will practice more how to learn bosses’s tells, when to dodge, when to put aegis and so on, playing with a tanky build rewards too much for a lazy playstyle.
They didn’t fix kitten. You can still kill other people’s instance with that merge button. It took an year for ANet to make the lfg tool, so it will probably take another year to fix this bug.
Its not only sellers that get griefed, everyone that is in the middle of a path and post on lfg can get the instance killed by that. It happened to me once when i wanted to run arah p1 for my dm, i soloed all the way up to the tar then posted on lfg, 3 people joined but on the last slot the group got merged, i got kicked from my instance and ended up in another totally different group.
So if you are doing a long path like arah p4 for example and need one more pug at the end of it you have a high risk of getting griefed.
One thing that i find weird is that i never heard of people getting the instance killed in fractals, i dont know if its because no one has ever tested it or if fractal instances are immune to that bug.
Some mobs in Arah do respawn. And i think there are champions that also respawn in HotW, thats why there is a lot of bot activity there.

You get 7 lvls by getting your crafting skills to 400, so all 8 crafting skills maxed will get you to lvl 56. If you have that experience scroll that puts you automatically on lvl 20 you can get to lvl 76. Then if you max some crafting skills to 500 or close you may be able to get to lvl 80.
