Looks good to me. I’d maybe run Divinity or Traveler runes for the extra crit damage since you are already pretty tanky.

Thats what I was kinda thinking of. trim off the rune toughness for something to help with my declined dps.

I currently have between 2500-2600 armor for my ele and I’m trying to figure out if I might of gone too far into toughness for my D/D ele or if I’m good where I am. I use to be pure berserker so toughness is still pretty new idea to me

Is anyone else tired of dungeon fights that feel more like a pile of explosions and blind light that covers the bosses making it painful hard or even impossible to see? It feels like its taking away from the fun of a fight when I have no idea what the bosses it doing because I can’t see him anymore. and don’t get me started on zerg fights XD

We need some kind of option to lets us cut or turn down the effects to a point were happy with. sure I wanna see skills like fields and stuff but I don`t need to see endless explosions for every skill.

another one that would be awsome is some kinda rifle or pistol that shots flaming pumpkins.

So with halloween soon to be here I was curious what kind of weapons we will get this year. The same as last year? (secretly hoping I another chance for the ghastly grin) Or will it be a whole new selection.

If it new what kind of weapon are you hoping for? myself I would love to have a focus of a carved up pumpkin with flaming eyes and mouth.

Now before people start getting into a “nerf to hell” chant like I know will be happening. Is it really that hard? we finally have an actually world boss. not some over done pinata but an actually BOSS. Its not us sitting there with a yawn as you work the usual motions. No, now the battle field is filled with the screams of terror and cries of suffering that is expected when taking on something with the title “world” boss. We have been given a gift people for the first time in gw2 short history we have a RAID level boss. we finally having to work together to survive not run around like blind mice.

I will however agree that if he’s made too hard no one will be interested in a low chance drop that like a precuror will never come. when it just feels like hitting a brick wall with our heads over and over again. so before players start picketing the streets of lions arch demanding the nerf bat be let loose to just give it some time. Thats all i’m asking sure he’s hard NOW but a month or 2 from now will have gotten back into the same rut as before and be complaining its too boring.

Its safe to say our dragon friend has evolved to raid boss statue which is amazing. The only down side is to many leaders barking orders and we’re as organized as a pug group without chat XD

Given enough time this will be a lot easier (hopefully NOT because of a nerf) so for those complaining just bare with it for now. this fight isn’t going anywhere so you have all the time you’ll need to get better.

I’v thought the same thing with pistols. I’d die from joy if we could shoot our magic spells. Course thats what engineers are for tho.

they’ll be back. If I had to guess the selection for the easy blue ones are gonna be rotated from 1 set to the next with every regular release. and new colors added for worlds

too hard is a bit much to claim. I think people just find its to much of a skill gap from world 1, I’d understand if this was world 3 or 4 but comparing world 1 and 2 the level is a bit over the top for a lot of people. My only real complaint is how much longer the world 2 zones are compared to world 1. I feel like I could do all of world 1 in the time it take me to get to the halfway point in zone 1 XD

I still can’t get over how it was 1 year ago when warriors were considered the kittens of dungeon runs and everyone hated the idea if having them on their team.

I love my Juggernaut. The splash of quicksilver as you swing and strike the ground, the improved footsteps and the armor shine is nice too. The best part though is the ability to change stats depending on what i’m doing. Anet, hats off to you on whoever came up wit that idea. He/she should definitely get a raise.

Entropy and Genesis are nice too but they are “welfare” legendaries

actually I think craftable weapons like volcanus are the “welfare” legendaries

Till now i’m been running pretty much a pure berserker build, which for the most part has served me ok for dagger and really well for staff for PvE. However I am now looking into focusing more on Dagger as my main choice weapon and there fore need a build that is more forgiving when taking a few sucker punchs in melee rather then going down after 1 or 2 hits with my current glass jaw.

So far this is what I’v come up with. For the most part this is aiming at being a PvE build but I do run around in WvW every now and then too.

I think Scarlets being treated as a kinda of world boss now. only difference is its announced and from what I can tell random time and location which I think is rather nice.

Finally a world boss that feels like a real world boss. Jormag was decent when compared to the current Shatterer and Tequatl who we could kill without moving an inch but if this is a sign of things to come for the other world bosses I say bring it!.

I do have 1 question for anet tho. When you say “chance” to get an acended weapon are we talking an actually chance like say 1/15 or we talking the dreaded Precuror chance….

I found elementist was the only class that could truly keep my interest. Now if only we weren’t as squishy as a marshmellow over the campfire.

now that would be a melee kit i could get behind. We could treat the skills like a sword or hammer. the skills could be something like this
1. standard 3 swing autoattack with a bleed in 1 or more swings
2. a whirling spin on the spot with knockback.
3. a charge or leap.
4. a 2-3 second fear.
5. some kinda over charge effect that buffs you and everyone around you.

I say just bring up the other 3 elements to fires damage standard and give fire its own perk like waters healing, airs swiftness, and earths cripple.

I need a bit of help with the new crafting materials. What are the new materials and there sources?

I realized this after trying to find the perfect outfit for my female elementist. We need pants! is dress after dress, mini skirt after mini skirt. I only managed to find 1 pair of pants for light armors. Thankfully it as pair I could use and came out with decent biker chick look.

this would be simple enough for anet to do too. all that would have to happen is giving players the ability to also have an armor swap when swapping weapons. Then we can just fashion a different look to go with our attunements and other classes won’t be left out.

Elementists are still ok in my books because of 1 major reason. all the other classes are being nerfed endlessly as well so I can accept while we contuine to become weaker the others are following as well.

I do have to agree there. I mean as far as I could tell after getting their kitten kicked the molten alliance crumbled right? they even made a point to tell us that and hint about scarlet being the one who got them together. yet some how the molten alliance is back for this invasion?

Least with Aether blades the reason they are still trying is clear and ties in with the past stories but it feels like anet tried to wrap up the molten alliance and changed their minds later.

So did anyone else notice scarlet wasn’t using that sweet gun (launcher) she used to attack the queen with instead just brought a regular inquest rifle? The fight at the end could of been an actually fight instead of scarlet disappearing into a 100+ man barrage of spells. I mean that gun felt like it was ment for us. all she would have to do is point at our zerg and send us all flying with 1 shot. instead she simple stands there and dies (least from what I can make out in the blinding light of spells)

All that seems to happen is a group appears and then the next moment my screen is flooded with every spell imaginable completely taking away the visual enjoyment of fighting.

Thankful I haven’t seen any of these 50-100 man zergs I can only Imagine the ammount of lag I’d suffer.

I wouldn’t call it banging my head, but I can always dream that anet isn’t drawing a random idea from a hat with every new event and trying to tape them together some how.

I was a bit disappointed after they released the Watch Knights only to find the master mind behind it all is Scarlet and not the Steam like I hoped. Course that being said I did notice the machine to make these portals is rather…similar to the means the Steam come through and the Steam are actually involved with the attacks.

Then you got the Twisted they look like an undead version of the Steam (which is kitten Awsome) which begs the question. Did Scarlet with all her knowledge actually find out where the Steam came from and make an alliance with them? Are they the real master minds behind all these attacks and scarlets just a middle man for their invasion attempts or are they just another memeber of some kind League of Evil?

Give it time. I think it be kind of silly if a group appeared and disappeared in only a few weeks. I imagine once the aether blades are over some even darker group will arise. who knows make that theory of the pale tree being an elder dragon will be true and the nightmare courts just the evil side and whole expansion will be based around that.

I’m a bit confused on something. since when did voting mean stuffing the ballet box as much as you can?

I think we should of just been given 1 token and that’s it. how the hell do you hold an election of the people when a small group could just pump thousands of additional votes? some like a few devs need to learn how elections are usual done.

While i do think no hunger would be nice maybe once or twice, the matches would drag on forever and ever.
Imagine two survivors on the opposite ends of the map, refusing to move anywhere.

It’s call southsun survival not southsun deathmatch, it seems youre looking for a different kind of game (that could be definitly be fun but which is no way close to southsun survival)

if southsun survival is pretty much a hide and eakittens not much of anything.

ok I’m sure a lot of people are gonna hate me for this idea but could we remove the whole hunger idea? sure its got its use but I end up in way to many matches that turn into a camp fest.

I suggest they make a more long term version were the goal is to kill so many to earn a chest. make it 15 min matchs with gear respawning at random and just make rations a way to heal. This way it feels more a fight to survive and hiders and afkers aren’t rewarded for doing pretty much nothing.

I like this for the most part. my only issue is the extent of campers that make this less of a fight and more of a whose got more rations.

I love guild wars 2 but I do have to agree if all I really have to look forward to is the next mini game every 2 weeks in an MMO and what is gonna be added to the gem store then this game really doesn’t offer me much long term gameplay that has a purpose.

if they are dropped in a bottle neck/landing pad unless you are lucky and have a ground on you, you will get slapped in the face with a fake.

Putting them on landing pads is kind of bad, true. Bottlenecks shouldn’t be a problem though. “Grounded” lets you walk right through them, and is not in short supply. I mean no disrespect, but if you haven’t run enough to recognize which crystals are supposed to be there, then you can’t say you’ve earned the right to place first anyway.

Truthfully though, the race is pretty much decided in the first 30 seconds anyway, regardless of fake powerups. Make sure you get aspect master three or four times and make use of sun crystals, and you should be well on the way to winning.

Slow and steady wins the race… sometimes. Light Travel is a powerful weapon when used correctly. Possible to go from 12th place to 1st with them once you reach the first one. So the Turtle can actually win the Sprint. :s

Have to agree on the slow and steady. number of times now I’m started out in 9th by the first checkpoint (no idea how people can make a huge distance just by running) but if I go at a steady pace and avoid slip ups I can find myself in 2nd or 3rd by the 3/4 mark just because people fall or mess up and get thrown behind me.

I would expect many PVE players don’t like WvW for the same reason I don’t like Fractals. It’s repetitive and boring to them. At least fractals is more rewarding at higher tiers. I wish I could complain about having too many ascended rings in the bank.

Not sure its that. I do a bit of WvW here and there and I find it was be different from moment to moment because you never know what players are gonna do next unlike PvE but I do get bored of it pretty quick when it turns into a game of 2 zergs circling around the map ignoring each other. What fun is seiging if no one is trying to resist.
