Ele is one of the classes that benefits well from all Stats, they’re one of the few classes that go well with Celestial stats. I wouldn’t recommend playing celestial in a WvW zerg per say. Since you want damage then the obvious choice is go zerk. What i do recommend though is to start with a tanky set like PVT and slowly swap out piece by piece towards a full set of zerk as you get comfortable playing the class and staying alive.
If you play a full zerk ele as a underlevel, you will get 1 shotted by a backstab thief since your hp will probably be below 10k easily.
In the current meta most people play staff ele in zergs. Your main focus is usually to stay away from the hammer train as any backline would do and throw down water fields/ static when the commander requests them.
Since you are a under level your main focus will be to stay alive, a dead ele is a useless ele.
So I recommend going 10 earth 20 Water ( as a level 40). In earth get Earth’s Embrace which gives you Armor of Earth at 50% hp. This way if you get low hp you cant get stunned and you can dodge out of the way and heal up.
I would have you go 20 into water for the cantrip and water CD reduction. A big part of your job as a staff ele is to throw down water fields, so being able to do them more often makes you much more effective. The cantrip mastery is more for survivability for you. Most of the cantrips have a really high cooldown and they are your main survivability utilities. So being able to shave some cool down on them will help you stay alive easier.
I play a S/S war in spvp (S/S Longbow). It’s a really fun build at the present time, sadly though the build itself will receive a nerf post 15th as the torment duration is going to be reduced significantly.
The build still has great potention as its easy to get 20+ stacks of bleed on a single guy and watch him get hit 2K+ dmg a second just from bleed
Nothing Beats the good ol’ Sword/Board
I feel like this is becoming a voting debate where one class is like “Pick me” then the other is “No, no you want to pick me”
Since you’re new to the game you will probably want to try out a bit of everything, I recommend to try them all out, see what you like or don’t like you can always delete the old character and make a new one.
Also while you wait for your DL you can look up youtube videos of gameplay from each class or race to help you get an idea for what the classes would be like.
You could use them on different characters…
Well i could see my version working as an “Oh Kitten” bail out as well.
Example: you are attuned to air and getting low on health with a thief right on top of you. pop the elite so the thief gets caught up in the lighting field. Utilize the quickness gained from elite to pop your heal then continue utilizing the benefits gained from remaining elite boons ( Fury to go back on the offensive ). I just see so much potential from having additional access to more fields. Especially if you are not running staff
I was messing around with a Lightning Hammer Signet build last night while capping ruins in WvW for the achievement. The #5 on lightning hammer is pretty much that, it puts a lightning field around you so no one can enter (or exit) without stability.
But it takes up a utility slot. i would take any cantrip or arcane skill before LH. Its the elite options we currently have that is the problem. They’re not as useful as other class Elites.
I agree
The build I made was to see if a signet/Lightning hammer combo would work. Intention is to put the new Fire Grandmaster Trait on and use signet actives for fire aura that burns them (in turn blinding them) along with the LH auto attack for insane amounts of blind.
There was a rumor about a signet a few months ago? Where when we swap attunements we would get quickness for a short duration and the active would refresh attunements. I would be ecstatic if we actually get something like that.
Also to stay on topic for the OP
I do enjoy the idea of a Overcharge feature. As I’ve stated in one of the previous posts it would be cool to get something like that, but make it more of a high risk high reward type of spell. Where you have to be careful where and when to use it or it could backfire on you.
(edited by CountzuCrytus.7256)
I’ve never played a Condi Ele but it would seen interesting to try. Since you decided to have it a signet build this is what I came up with. I will try it later tonight once I get home to see if its actually viable or not
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vEAQJAoYhcM6cW2wvBdEBApAMBFHgw4BIbQiowDA-TsAAzCuIsSZlzKjVSrsWNq4YwkAA
After the Tuesday patch you will have “Tracks” that you can select to level up(I guess that’s the right word?). The tracks range from pvp specific gear ( only way to get it is through spvp) to dungeon gear and area gear( Like Krytan, Shiverpeaks, Ascalonian) and as you level up a specific track you unlock skins along with some other nifty items.
Also you will get transmutation charges depending on what rank you are AFTER the patch (they will rework ranks, so with you being rank 15 now you will be a bit higher after patch). So the higher rank you are now the more you will be able to swap gear for free after the patch

Welcome back
D/D isn’t as viable as it used to be. It’s not impossible to play one, it’s still as fun and a lot of people still do but again it’s not AS strong as it used to be.
As far as build for you to play, it depends on what your intention is. Do you want something that you can just level with? Something to pvp or wvw with?
Also it wouldn’t hurt looking into the Elementalist subforums a bit lower for guides/tricks to playing the ele. You will find lots of helpful info there.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/ will pretty much highlight any major update/content release since they started living world.
How about no look for legendary armor? BUT! U can apply any look on it without transmutation stones? And, combined with stat change….I would go for it ^^
Or they could even add some cool effect to any skin you wearing, if it is legendary. Like choosable color/form of glow/effects, or smth like that. No transmutation stones would be mayby to extreme, but this one might work.
they will never add free skin swapping like that ….people sink quite a bit of gold/cash changing skins.
I said this in 2-nd paragraph
. They just should make it work with any skin. So it would be noticable as legendary. Extra effects should be the right way. Like Legendary hammer makes your armor look better. Smth like this. Mayby even ability to choose from the pool of all effects, which could be gained from legendary weapons. The benefit would be ability to use both effects. Without bug. Like having lightings from bolt(I have sword in hand) and shiny aura from eternity(this would be added effect from armor). Smth like that.
The only drawback I see with this is, by the time we have legendary armor, the people that actually make it will probably have a legendary weapon or 2. By then they will all look like giant disco balls, or a glowing ball of light coming at you a mile away.
I’m all for legendary armor, as GW1 had something similar (obsidian armor?) but I
would want it to be something more subtle than giant glowing particle effects.
At most what I would want to see is a set of armor engraved with runes with something similar to what infinite light is now.

No the difference is if you use an infusion item and add it to the slot its filled and that’s it. If you infuse the item in the mystic forge you get the infusion bonus in the item stats itself and you still have the free infusion slot.
Going back to my red ring of death example
Normal:
+103 Power
+68 Precision
+8% Critical Damage
Unused Offensive Infusion Slot
Infused:
+103 Power
+68 Precision
+8% Critical Damage
+5 Agony Resistance <- – – <—-Difference
Unused Offensive Infusion Slot
Infusing through the Mystic Forge gives the item extra Agony Resist
I got shut down by a Diamond Skin Ele in spvp the other night pretty hard. I play a condi war with s/s bow and I went to go cap far (henge) which had a bunker regen ele(staff) that was running Diamond Skin with Evasive Aracana waiting for me. No matter what I did I couldn’t get the ele’s hp below 90% due to insane regen power and Evasive Arcana Heal. The guy literally sat on point Casting healing rain and dodge rolling every 10 seconds… it was pretty funny actually.
Echo + (x)…
… Meteor Shower – 2 at same time, but only once because of long CD of MS.
…Lava Font – Spam lava fonts while in Elite mode, way fun
…Conjure weapon – Team Weapon Conjures
…Lightning bolt Spam
etc…
The idea for Echo always was:
at max it’s only giving you an extra skill identical to one you already have anyway that isn’t Elite, so who can cry OP.
Opens up builds where you can’t quite proc the effect/skill you want often enough
When used on powerful skills, they have long CDs anyway, so you only get one or two extra in before Echo timer runs outWho else has used this in GW1 successfully? Think it could port?
It could be really interesting – we lost a bunch of things to other classes (wards! Guards now have the ward effects on their consecrations and the skill names on their staff/hammer #5s!) so an argument could be made for pinching it from gw1’s Mesmers.
I toyed with Echo builds for a while, but of course it was always best used for Shiro runs. So many numbers!
I remember Echo Arcane Echo Meteor Shower= Triple Meteor Shower in GW1
Sorry for the late reply,
So you can do 2 things… You can buy an infusion (lets use a Guilded infusion as an example http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gilded_Infusion) You simply double click the infusion and you apply it to a piece of ascended gear like you would a Rune to a piece of Armor.
Or you can infuse the item in the mystic forge. After the ascended item is infused it will have (Infused) after the name. So lets use Red Ring of Death as an Example
- http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Red_ring_of_death
- http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ring_of_Red_Death_
If you look at the later item it will have a recipe of items you need to throw in the mystic forge to Infuse the Item.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Infusion
Should have all the information you need
\(Evasive Arcana’s Cleansing Wave no internal cool down)
WAT.
No, trait in water with similar name won’t have cooldown annymore, not EA’s cleansing wave. And no one is going to reverse it’s effectiveness nerf too. D/d will be the same “mediocre at everything” with a little more surviability and power.
Ah you’re right, i guess i got a little excited when i read the notes and thought it was Cleansing Wave and not Cleansing Water
Oh well, i dont really go 30 into arcana anyways… so no harm done to me. But i do see this being a big boost for the Staff eles
(edited by CountzuCrytus.7256)
The patch on the 15th seems to be reversing a lot of nerfs that they originally gave us (Evasive Arcana’s Cleansing Wave no internal cool down, Signet of resto being back to its full power in pvp) Along with the #3 dagger in ice and fire buffs, I cant wait for some D/D
The tiers for gear go Exotic>Ascended>Legendary
The highest armor/trinket tier is ascended. For Weapons it’s Legendary.
Ascended Armor may take some time to craft and only offer a slight boost over Exotic gear, so to some people it’s not really that important. Ascended gear tends to take a while to craft and can be fairly expensive so a lot of people look at the cost to reward and decide if they really want to go through the trouble of making it or not.
For weapons, the highest tier is Legendary. Legendary weapons share the same stats as ascended ones do, the advantage of legendary weapons is
- They will always have the highest stats even if new tiers are introduced.
- You can swap stats when you are out of combat to fit your needs.
- Look really cool ( most do)
Legendary Weapons take a long time to craft, and are probably the most expensive to make in game atm. So if you decide to make one, it will require for you to participate a little bit in everything in GW2 ( WvW, PVE, Dungeons etc etc..)
*takes out the Truth Hammer and smacks him * (couldnt resist)
Okay, Ele is a really fun class to play, and with the current meta/balance some players may feel like they’re not being rewarded for the effort they put out to play the class. The class itself is one of the harder classes to pick up, and with the nerfs that eles received combined together makes it feel like that so much more.
I personally play the class because I enjoy it, I enjoy the difficulty and knowing that I can’t just steamroll people while falling asleep at the keyboard. That way when I actually win or beat someone its rewarding. So if you look at it with that kind of mentality it doesn’t seem AS BAD
I don’t consider myself a good player, or a bad one… I would say about average?
There are a couple of classes that I have a hard time going up against. Main one being a Ham/Bow war. I tend to play a burst S/D build most of the time in sPVP and if I see a Ham/Bow war bunkering at their home I tend not to even bother going 1v1 against them( unless I know it’s a bad player). I feel as though that isn’t really an issue with ele but rather any Bursty Build, you just usually don’t have the sustain needed to DPS something like that down by yourself.
I tend to have an easier time going up against squishier classes ( again more of a build thing, squishier classes go down quicker and I can usually down them faster than they can down me).
Its not free, but you can use a free trial for a month.
Try Camtasia. Really nice vid software, it doesn’t affect FPS much when recording and it splits vid and audio so its easy to edit.
otherwise… Fraps?

I always thought if there was an arcane attunement it would function as an elite skill, shifting you out of the standard attunements for access to a single more powerful one, independent of equipped weaponry, to tap into the primal, an possible unstable, arcane energy for a short duration.
Now thats a cool idea, a 5th attunement for the elite slot, summoning skills that can be used only every so often perhaps. As for the don’t make eles any more complicated comments? Rubbish! Make Elementalists too hard for noobs to use, its already one of the more advanced class’ for people who like to use their brains, make them more complicated I wouldn’t mind
As much as i feel the same way, i doubt the devs would
We have a friendly PvX guild stationed in Fort Aspenwood ( I guess it wont matter after 15th patch eh?)
We do a bit of everything and have some very experienced WvW players/Commanders. (if you’re interested send me letter (mail) in game and I will invite you when I get home tonight.
Otherwise if you scroll down on the forums section you can go to the guild area and look at all the recruiters.
Ascended Jeweling could be used to craft the ascended trinkets that aren’t available by other means, like Shaman, Valkyrie, Carrion among other stats.
Ascended Chef could craft unique dyes and some special trays of food or even permanent foods.
I wouldnt mind that, or stronger food buffs.
With normal mobs any class can out-tank and out-heal the damage. But go to a dungeon or a World Boss or anything that hits hard you will find yourself having a hard time keeping up with the heals. Elementalists arnt meant to be played as healers. You can definitely play one but you’re only utilizing ¼ of the class’ potential. Having higher healing power is better, and the more you have the better your heals are. Its not that your heals cap, but rather the benefit you get from spreading your stats out a bit is much higher than if you go fully into healing power. I usually try not to go over 1k healing power simply because I will heal plenty as it is, and my other stats won’t suffer as much as they would if I put them all into healing power. This way I can heal for a decent amount while still be able to do some damage.
As far as blast finishers go… I can see how one can think for them to be complicating but it’s really not. Its simple as putting down a combo field and using a combo finisher. If you have an organized group its simple as calling it out and the other players knowing what skill to use. I’m someone that mainly plays an ele in WvW so blasting water fields is one of our ways of staying alive against groups bigger than ours.
Playing an ele goes much more than the face value of the skills, being able to utilize your huge kitten nal of fields/finishers at the right time make a huge difference and makes you much more effective regardless if you are healing or if you are blasting fire fields for might.
Hi,
So, apparently Crafting up to 500 is possible now?
What web-sites do you guys use now? The old one I used to use only goes up to 400.
Yes, with introduction of ascended weapons and armor they increased the cap to 500 for most of the crafting professions.
You’re looking at it wrong. In this game there are no traditional healers like in a standard MMO. It doesn’t matter if you have the highest healing power you can get in the game it will be impossible to out heal the damage your party takes by throwing a water field at them every couple of seconds ( 40 seconds in your case, 32 if you trait it to go down).
It’s ok to have lots of healing power but anything over 1000 is really a waste of stats as the benefits you get out of it don’t really apply, you would be much better using the rest toward something else, as that way you would be more beneficial to your party.
There are other ways to be able to support your party as that seems to be what you’re going for.
- You can put up frost aura that reduces damage that people take. You can do this by putting down an ice field and using a blast finisher on it. Or use offhand dagger 4 (in water attunement) while having trait active that lets you share your auras.
- You can blind enemy and prevent them from hitting you or your allies (miss= 0 dmg)
- You can give them regeneration boons and soothing mist.
- If you use staff and put down a water field ( Water 3 and 5) your allies can use a blast finisher on it to blast the water which will give everyone an AOE heal that’s about equally as strong as Cleansing Wave.
Example:
so if you put down Healing Rain, and everyone in party uses a blast finisher on it you Cleanse conditions, grant allies regen, as the skill normally does and the blast finishes heal everyone in that area similar to what 5 Cleansing Waves would. I can be a full Berserker ele with a staff and if everyone uses a blast finisher on my healing rain I will out heal 2000 healing power while I have 0. While still being able to melt enemies at the same time.

Rejuvenation is given by the Guardian’s Virtue of Resolve Passive. Guardian is the only class that can give rejuvenation.
The formula for Cleansing Wave is : 1302+(1.0*Healing Power)
With 2k Healing Power it heals for 3302.Thank you! A lot more than I could ask for! =)
YW!
Btw, there is really no need for 2k Healing Power… You’re much better using stats elsewhere. Especially with the new water trait coming out on 15th that makes healing you be more effective, you can have less healing power with that trait and heal for the same amount.

This actually sounds half reasonable – maybe a skill that replaces weapon skills with a different selection, but it has a cooldown (like our other attunements and I guess Death Shroud) that stops you from going into it too frequently (and long enough cooldowns on its own skills that you can’t just sit in it forever). I guess something like a 20-40s cooldown depending on the skills it offers?
+1 I like this idea
Name it something like “Master of Magic” (GW1 Skill Reference),
Give it 5 new skills (like Guardian Tomes). Allow to use 6-9 skills while active.
I like the idea of unstable/ high risk-high reward kind of skills so you could make the skills be powerful but have a drawback where you either sacrifice health or stamina to use them. Or make it so that you are exhausted and lose all stamina after you go into this mode, that way it’s somewhat balanced and you have to think about when you really want to go all out.
That is a cool idea, kind of reminds me of DOTA’s Invoker where you combine spells/elements and invoke them to create a new spell.
It would open up new possibilities for sure, but not entirely sure how it would work out. All arcane skills right now tend to be around critical hits, kind of like an overload button for spells and there are existing traits right now that give your arcane utilities ability to apply certain conditions to control the enemy.
I do like the idea, but I feel as though it may a bit much to have to manage 25 different skills on a given weapon. To compensate for that rather than having a 5th attunement make a new Elite Skill.. call it something like “ Arcane Lord” where it changes your 1-5 skills to Arcane based Magic spells that do just that. Who knows we might have a useful elite for once then
(edited by CountzuCrytus.7256)
I just saw a pic of traveler runes-to-come: http://dulfy.net/2014/03/28/gw2-ready-up-episode-9-livestream-notes/
before: +10 all, 2% crit / +15% boon / +10 all, 2% crit / +10% cond / +10 all, 2% crit / +25% ms
after: +8 all / +5% boon / +12 all / +10% boon, +10% cond / +16 all / +25% ms
in the end, that’s 6 extra all stats but 6% less crit dmg. I believe 36 ferocity will be around 3% crit dmg, so less crit overall, but more other stuffBased on this, I expect Rune of Divinity to look like this after the change:
8 all / +10 all / +12 all / +14 all / +16 all / +18 all (78 total)
which would reduce crit dmg from 12% to around 6%, but add 18 stats everwhere else. I actually expect the new divinity runes to only have 12 more stats than the old ones, I just couldn’t make it work with the amounts (6/8/10/14/16/18 ? except then it’s more higher-bonus-weighted than traveler… I doubt they’ll do 7/9/11/13/15/17)
I wouldn’t mind that at all ( the 1st one not the 2nd).
Hi guys, just wanted to share my thoughts with you. I follow the forums, mostly when at work, and my main is an ele. I do check all other class forums and such.
Lately, I’ve been playing other classes. I like to mix it. My first level 80 was a guardian, then a mesmer, then I discoverd the ELE. Boy, was that fun. By far the most fun playstyle. I had tons of fun, done PvE, done fractals, done WvW, done PvP. I like to play all parts of the game.
But, me being myself, I wanted to finally level a warior (tried 4 times, gave up every time). And I did, and it looked great estethicly, done great damage. But the playstyle.. God, so dull.
Sure, you do tons of damage, you’re wanted in all parts of the game, you look great, but… So boring and the game becomes so easy to play. I refuse to play my warior anymore. Dumbdownes the game.
So, just hit me – why do I have to play a class that is the best in fractals, or best roamer, or frontliner, etc. I’ll just play my ele for one reason- FUN!
Maybe if distance ourself from big numbers and stacks and such, and see ELE what it is… it’s not the best, but, its the most fun class (for me at least). I’ll just continue and do my best and try to get the max I can from Ele class. Even if that means I could get 1 shot or stomped or whatever. I’ll try to prevent it, but hey.. Playing an OP class was never my thing. Always loved the underdogs. Maybe with some changes will be really good again.
I know some people like to be doing as good as the top class, and hate being killed easily, or whatever. I know there are issues with the elementalist class. I’m well aware of all the bad things.
But hey, it’s still a game, and I want to play a class that is fun not boring and making the game easy mode.
Good to be an elementalist.
To OP:
You and me tend to have a similar history, im someone that played most of the classes out there and do a fair mix of PVE/WvW/sPVP. If I were to rate the most fun class for me to play ele would probably be the top. I initially hated playing the war and found them entirely dull/boring to play. A Few months ago I leveled my warrior to 80 finally and decided to shelf my ele asside and make the war my main in WvW. Even though I do a bit of everything I spend most of my time in WvW and playing as a backline ele casting fields for our guild just got really Boring, to the point where I didn’t want to touch a staff anymore (which is why I made my war). I found that playing in an organized guild can make classes that normally I would find dull, pretty fun actually. Going from someone that would try to stay away from people and cast static fields/meteor showers and whatnot to someone that runs in face 1st and smashes things over the head with a giant hammer (earth shaker) provided to be the refresher I needed for my ele, as I can actually play my ele now without feeling meh.
Moral of the giant paragraph… Any class can be fun(or boring ) if you put it in a right setting.
No-One has , need dragon rank token to craft i guess… but im hoping they release it as one of those items you can unlock, same with the armor.
During the live stream last week, they didn’t name this armor specifically, but the devs did state that they were aware that there were some differences between items in pve and pvp. They said something about seeing those pop up in the different reward tracks, at least that’s what it sounded like. Let me go watch it again and see if I can pin point it.
I can confirm it here from the other 100 topics about this specific question:

Ah ha, thank you. I thought that’s what was said, but I was only half paying attention during the stream (like normal).
I think if you have the armor already, you keep it.
I believe the dev was referring to unlocking the armor in the future( for people that don’t already have it) by completing a new track.Well yes, they did state that if you have it unlocked, it’ll become unlocked in the wardrobe. It’s not just disappearing. Although with the merge, I have to wonder if they will adjust the name. We’ll see I guess. They didn’t address that component.
I’m one of those that never got it, but would like it, so was among those curious about being able to acquire it in the future. So I was pleased that it would be.
Its not an armor i would probably use but the completionist side of me would probably try to unlock it…
Now that PvP Legendary Blade (Dragon Rank GS) on the other hand… i want

I believe you can submit a support ticket for a refund.
Gratz on hitting 80, it would be helpful to know what race you are.. so we can help figure out what armor it is.
Also you can go to a website that has a list of all the heavy armor, that might help you find it as well.
Your main focus should be to get all level 80 Exotic gear. I don’t recommend going into full berserker right away as you noticed it’s a hard path to follow :P
I recommend starting off a bit tankier, and as you get used to the class/game add more berserker pieces over time.
That’s a good question; you COULD transmute the T3 armor to a white piece of armor ( it makes it account bound) and equip it to your new character.
Or just keep the character for 2 more weeks and do it then? Wouldn’t hurt unless you need to free up a char slot.
I’m not on the EU servers, on NA servers though the Ranged Classes tend to be mostly Elementalist, Necromancers or Mesmer.
So for example, I have some shoulder skins that isn’t aviable in PvE at all for some weird reason, only in PvP. I’ll get those in PvE aswell post-patch?
That is correct.
There will be new PVP Exclusive skins as well ( Balthazar Back Piece)
All on one character. You can get world completion multiple times across multiple characters.
Ok…… I guess I haven’t reached the temples in Orr. I’ve got 53,000 karma – will that be enough to buy my armor there?
one piece yes
As someone that has lots of experience as an Elementalist in an organized WvW group what I would recommend is to start off with a tanky set of armor (say PVT stats or something similar) and as you get used to running in groups and get better at surviving/ positioning slowly start to swap out some of that armor /trinkets for more damage based gear (Berserker), to where you will eventually be able to survive and be efficient in full Berserker set.
If you want a well rounded set of armor for ele that will do decent in WvW and most of PVE you can’t go wrong with Celestial.
Although all the above is subject to change post 4/15/14 patch.
If divinity runes gets a boost just like celestial set, have it for the crit damage/ferocity won’t be a good idea.
I use celestial set in my engineer for many reasons but crit damage, so I’m happy with the change, otherwise I would start to look for other sets/runes.
I use mine for my Ele, and same i dont use them for the Crit Dmg either but u never know what they’ll do
Since A-Net is boosting the stats on Celestial gear… I am HOPING they boost the stats of Divinity runes as well
Well, that fear is valid. Sharing creates competition, and why make it harder on yourself to make money? Sure they could discuss different things besides what they’re working on, but… It sounds more like the guild would be used by hawks trying to get into other peoples’ secret markets. Just doesn’t sound like a good guild to me. :P
That is why, as always, you should vet the people who want to join and only let them into the inner circle of privileges when they have slowly earned your trust and contributed to the guild.
No offense but Wanze’s guild doesn’t sound like a trader’s guild at all, more like a WvW guild with 1 trader. The OP is looking for like-minded people who are traders and who have come together to form a guild. They may even invest in different areas and work together for a common interest instead of stepping on one another’s toes while investing for themselves. If done correctly, the guild can be very powerful and even own several markets in the economy.
Exactly
Wanze is one of two people on this forum who I’d:
A) Trust to send 100g to on the notion of investing in future returns.
B) Trust to actually make any money with my investment. That said, I certainly wouldn’t join an actual other guild for it, would never move to an EU server for something like this, and am certainly not going to send money to him without his pre-approval or whatever. Basically, thanks but no thanks.
Ultimately, OP, just find some friends who TP frequently and chat with them about it. I highly doubt that guilds exist who discuss things like it too frequently if only because then they would be bidding against each other and ruining each other’s investments. My best money-making schemes are the ones I don’t tell my guild about until after I’ve made hundreds of gold off of them.
I’m not doubting his ability to turn a profit or his trustworthiness but me giving money to a “broker” doesn’t help me get better at the trade in any way. Sure it gets me money, but what’s the point if I can’t do it myself? Know what I mean?
