If he’s running one, target and kill the Blood Fiend.
With Shortbow… You’re pretty much kittened. I’d suggest Sword Torch and Axe Dagger, it’s more reliable.
If player runs full MM, he shouldn’t be big issue. Remember, many take a trait which causes minions to draw conditions from master and his allies.
It’s all about setting traps, leaping through fire fields, evading and being in move. If you outlast majority of his minions, you should win.
Ah ok,
I’ll give the S/T A/D combo a try. And yes being able to outlast his minions is the problem: /
Would you recommend getting offhand training for the torch instead of Oakheart Salve?
Recently I’ve been messing around with playing a trapper in sPVP and TPVP. Ive mainly played as a Bunker or a defensive player( If I’m not bunker I basically roam back and forth between points we own and help the bunker out- so I guess off-bunker? lol). One of the main builds ive been having trouble beating is a MM Necro. So I ask the general ranger population, anyone who plays a bunker ranger or a trapper ranger, how do you fight a MM?
The build I run is your standard S/D Shortbow, Condi Damage build. Using 2 traps and SoR and Entangle as my Elite.
Any Tips would help!
You can also get armor with badges of honor, which you get from killing stuff in WvW. there are multiple stat sets for you to chose from once you are level 80.

thank you very much
so about 127.75 hours? o.O
i REALLY hope you have unlimited data…
Im a fan of Steel/Iron Combo on the T3 Norn Pieces.
Does Glyph of Elemental power proc per spell use or is it per hit on an enemy?
To clarify if I use skills that hit foes more than once, (Dragon’s Claw, Dragons Breath, Hurl, Vapor Blade) does the Glyph only proc when I cast the skill or can it proc each time a skill does damage to an enemy?
(edited by CountzuCrytus.7256)
Precision does not affect condition damage. Precision increases the chance of a critical hit(conditions cant crit).
Go to http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Condition_damage for information about how condition damage is calculated.
As far as armor it varies depending on what kind of build you are running.
For condition based Mesmers I would recommend checking the Mesmer forum section might find some helpful information.
They both can look good imho. Why not make one of each. Have one be guardian and other war.
On the other hand back on topic… If yo
u want a more full, plate knight like heavy armor where the entire character is covered you’re better off making a male. If you want heavy armor but with some skin showing than go with the female.
As far as animations I actually prefer a Charr over human. The animations fit better to my tastes. You can youtube animations and skills for each race and gender if you want to see them without having to make tons of new chars.
Does this happen only when you are at max settings or does it happen at lower settings? How long does it stay like that? Does it go away after a few seconds? Have you made sure that your drivers are up to date? Also you MAY find better luck in the Support forums than here btw.
GW2 isnt your standard endgame mmorpg, where you grind for 80-100+ levels in hopes of getting to the good and juicy content that may leave you satisfied. The cool thing about GW2 is instead of sticking all of the good stuff at the end, they’ve spread it evenly across most of the levels. As far things to do, theres plenty.
- World completion/Exploration
- Dungeons (Story and Explore Modes).
- Personal Story
- Living Story (Updated every 2 weeks with new content).
- WvW (Roaming, Zerking, GvGs?)
- sPVP (Hotjoin and Tournaments Solo or Team)
If you don’t enjoy doing any of the things above, than GW2 may not be the game for you.
Congrats on hitting 80!
There is plenty of ways of getting exotic gear. I would not recommend going for ascended just yet, as the stat difference between them is not that great. If you compare a full set of exotic stats and a full set of ascended stats of the same type, the ascended average about 5% more than the exotics. You can get ascended items a few ways without having to craft them but they are usually as a VERY RARE drop. One of them being the new worm world boss. Other ways is by getting it as a drop from ranking up in WvW
And you can get exotic stats with all of the ways you listed above. You can do explorable mode dungeons in which you get certain tokens, you can trade those tokens in to a trader at Lions Arch( Marriner Waypoint) and the 2nd tab of the merchant for armor will have the exotics for you. Other ways as well is to go to non contested temples in Orr. The merchant there trades exotic armor for karma. Also you can craft level 80 at higher crafting levels (towards the end). If you have some gold on you, you can also open the trading post and buy some from there as well.
As a necromancer your friend does not have to spec into condition damage, there are multiple builds she can run. There are “powermancer” builds out there where the necro focuses on flat damage over condition damage, so its up to her on what kind of play stile she likes.
Gear in sPVP is currently only used in sPVP. In sPVP everyone is on equal footing, so when you go there everyone is at level 80 and has all skills unlocked. The gear all have the same stats on it and the things you can change is the runes sigils and the trinkets. This way pvp is structured/equal.
WvW is basically Server vs Server vs Server. Every week 3 servers are pinned against each other. Each server has a home borderland/map (total of 3) and there is 1 giant map called Eternal Battlegounds which is a mix of all 3 of the servers. Each map is capped at 500 players total. In WvW you are basically an army and your objective is to take as many points or objectives as possible and hold them. There are things like castles, keeps, towers that you can attack and try to take from the other servers. The more objectives you hold the more points you get. To attack these buildings you have siege you can build, like rams, catapults, trebuchets. Also often you tend to have large scale battles like (30v30 as an example). In WvW you have World Ranks and each time you gain a rank you get a chest that has a chance of some nice loot also you get a Rank point which you can use to distribute amongst certain traits specific to WvW (usually its stuff like expertise in a specific type of siege like Ram Mastery or Repair Mastery so you repair stuff quicker).
Mystic Forge AKA Mystic Toilet is a different way of crafting things. There are certain preset recipes that require 4 types of items in order to craft the said item. Also if you take 4 of the same type of item and same rarity you can use the Mystic Toilet for a chance of getting an item of next higher rarity.
Fractals are a group of randomized mini dungeons for you to do. Each run in fractals consists of 4 different dungeons. It’s basically another way to get gear and is a easy way of getting ascended trinkets as you can get them as a drop once you are above level 10 ( Fractal level not character level). Each time you do a fractal that is of your current level or higher , you go up a level.
Edit:
I missed a few things…
To see every armor in game you can go to Heart of the Mists and go to the PVP locker. You can then preview all of the armors in game and find the skin you want. The PVP armor and PVE armor looks the same( so you will find the same skins) but they may sometimes be called different.
Also you can go to http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Main_Page you will find information for just about anything on there as long as it pertains to GW2.
(edited by CountzuCrytus.7256)
I don’t see this as anything new or bad. In fact I look forward to it. Think of it as a map with open world PVP. Where you go to complete a few quests and such but have to watch your back the entire time to make sure you don’t get PK’d.
Given the details surrounding EotM are few and far between, I figured we could create a thread to aggregate the details everyone’s found thus far.
I know Anet will probably release their own blog post at some point, or lots of new stuff will be found during the Ready Up podcast tomorrow, but this might serve as a primer for people aiming to ask questions during the podcast tomorrow.
Afterlife Gaming was involved in the Public Beta test of EotM and they’ve written a decent overview on their blog.
http://www.afterlife-gaming.eu/Blog
What other details have people found on Reddit, Wiki, Dev Responses, etc…?
How big is the map comparative to say EB? And looking at the map screenshot it seems to be a bunch of floating islands…I can just see the luls of a hammer train using Banish xD
Are there any large open field spots where you will not have to worry about getting knocked off the edge? Or am I looking at the map wrong and you aren’t able to get knocked off in the 1st place?
If you know your friend’s full username (the 4 numbers as well) you can send him/her a private message via forums by clicking the little mail/letter symbol right beneath your username.
If you have 100g to spare you can craft an ascended back-piece that lets you chose any stat set you wish (Quiver of a Thousand Arrows) and you wouldn’t have to worry about the said issue.
On point though… I have never tried to put Exotic level upgrades into lower tier pieces but i don’t believe there are any restrictions as long as your upgrade component matches the same type of upgrade slot available on the item.
Great guide, im sure it will help lots of people. Sticky plz?
As someone who has 100% world completion i can assure you they are all reachable
You need to be invited to join a guild. Whether or not you get anything for joining the guild is up to the individual guild. You can be in more than 1 guild at a time and you can chose which guild you want to be actively representing at a specific time. Go to http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild and you should find most of the information you need about the way a guild works in GW2.
Between Mesmer and Elementalist as far as WvW goes; they are both necessities in large group fights. Mesmers provide veils portals and boon strip that can make fights a lot easier. Eles on the other hand provide hard cc , water fields for heal and large DPS spikes like Meteor Shower and can essentially be the lifeline of a zerg if played effectively. So if you are looking at them on a WvW can’t go wrong with either one.
If it takes you 4 hours a day to make the gold, you might also just go work somewhere for 3 hours a day and buy the gold with gems.
You might… But then what’s the point of even playing the game?
People enjoy playing certain aspects of the game and may not enjoy doing dungeon runs or champion trains. So they play the part they enjoy and instead of forcing themselves to do something they don’t they just buy it with cash.
I would say maybe 6/10 in my opinion.
I’m personally a huge fan of the helmet or the shoulders. I feel as though there is higher quality choices as far as skin go. Since you are going for the full helmet look I would consider
Avenger’s Helm- [&AgFuDgAA]
Vigil Helm- [&AgHFFAAA]
As far as shoulders go theyre hit and miss, some people love them others hate them.
Other people have mentioned that they don’t like the pants. I don’t think it’s the pants that is the issue but rather they don’t fit with the current boots you have on
One of my favorites is the Nobleman’s Greaves and Leggings [&AgETjAAA] [&AgEJjAAA]
Also if you don’t mind spending some gems or gold for gems Phalanx armor has some really nice pieces [&AgFgqAAA] <-for the boots
Color Scheme is great as it fits the guardian nicely.
Preview the codes and let me know if you like any of them.
Its not necessarily the class itself but more the race overall. If you want funny I would recommend playing the Asura. Their animations tend to be over the top exaggerated and they do lots of ninja flips and very athletic animations (look up Asura Ranger Sword attack animations). But since you have a ranger already, maybe a warrior or an elementalist.
That item is probably soulbound to the deleted character. I dont think you can remove it.
You invest.
There’s a few ways to make the shinnies… you could….
Do Champ Trains.. sell any rare/exotic item you get…
Do Dungeons.. lots and lots of dungeons since completing an explorable path in a dungeon for the 1st time gives lots of money.
You could sPVP. Winning a Team Arena match gives about 30s per win (cap of 15g per day) and Solo arena gives 25s per win.
Also you could play the trading post, get used to buying items low and selling them high(it’s basically like a virtual stock market).
Just a few examples.
I would say you should probably consider playing Necromancer, Elementalist or Ranger.
Necromancers can be fun to play if you build them right. I enjoyed playing a “Powermancer” which is basically a power spec necromancer. They are good in PVE at higher levels and are able to do dungeons fairly easily. Their death shroud mechanic makes it really easy for them to survive the big hits when a normal light class would not be able to. Also it looks really cool. Necromancers have the potential to be one of the best Condition damage classes in the game, and its easy to spec one into a condition damage build. Although condition damage might not be the best way to go as far as PVE or WvW is concerned in general, but that is up to you. Necromancers though are not usually a support class.
Elementalist is a very diverse class they can fit just about every role in the game well. They are also one of the few classes in game where people recommend going with Celestial stats. Also elementalists are one of the harder classes to master. They have great versatility as far as weapons between melee, medium and long range. They are great in dungeons like AC where a frost bow can make p1 a LOT easier. Also Elementalist are somewhat of a lifeline in a zerg for WvW, a correctly placed water-field can mean life or death for a group. They have one of the strongest AOE skills in the game (meteor Shower) that can just destroy a group of people if placed correctly. The only thing they are not so great at is condition damage. They CAN do condition damage as certain skills in fire and earth inflict bleed and burning but they are not best optimized for it.
Rangers right now are looked down upon and if you take your ranger in WvW most enemies will laugh at you and say “Hey free bags” before they try to kill you. I would not let that discourage you from playing the ranger as they are one of the more fun classes to play in the game and the fact that they are the underdog right now brings all the more appeal to me personally at least. Rangers can be DPS or support. They usually support through spirits, pet skills, aoe heals and regen. They have great condition damage potential as their shortbow can put plenty of conditions along with their traps. Also certain pets can place conditions in a way other classes cant and ways people would not think off. Having my Wolf fear the enemy as I pelt at him with Rapid Fire is just pure lols.
In conclusion any of the classes you listed above could be the one you enjoy, but you may have to be willing to sacrifice a thing or 2 in order to enjoy the class. Truth is no class can be great at support, condition damage, PVE dungeons and WvW with the same build/gear. To overcome this you may want to consider leveling more than 1 character. Have one for PVE, one for WvW etc etc..
Sorry for the giant wall of text.
Its true that blasting water fields is not as significant as it would be in a bigger group and that smaller heals such as warrior shouts are very good to use. But you do not have to be stationary to blast a water field. Regardless of group size any group that stays stationary too long is a dead group, it doesn’t matter if it’s a group or 30 or 10.
I wouldn’t exclude waterfields from small group fighting because they can save a teams bacon but they become more of a utility and less of a mainstay. Our 5 man doesn’t actively run with a decent waterfield since we don’t run with Engis, staff Eles and are not crazy enough to run with a Ranger.
There is some threshold where stationary water fields become incredibly powerful though. Because of AoE limits, healing in medium plus sized groups out strip AoE damage so a solid team of 15 or more can stand in the middle of three times their number and survive. However my experience is that the larger the force the more likelihood someone will slip up and drop a light field over a water field and get everyone killed.
10 man seems to be right at that threshold and as I stated originally 10 man is VERY dynamic. Only the heavy armor anchors seem to be consistent.
This is true…
To clarify more on what I meant when I said blasting water for a small group such as this… instead of your group stacking>water-field> blast as you would in a zerg. You could call out a target and have your ele place the water-field right as you are about to spike the enemy. Any leaps or blast finishers used will heal the player or the group around it, no time lost stacking. It can be as simple as your ele going to water casting Healing rain and then going back to something more productive like say a meteor shower or immobilize with Shockwave.
This is just one strategy or way to do it.
Putting the blasting water field discussion aside and going back to the OP…
Whatever comp you decide to run, make sure you have a solid strategy and everyone knows what their role is in the group and when to use certain skills. You could have someone calling marks on enemies for everyone to spike or when you get plenty of conditions ask for a cleanse etc etc…Communication is key.
Best of luck to you and see you on FABL
On top of that having water fields from engies or staff eles helps a lot as well, as using blast finishers on water fields is the primary way to heal groups right now.
I agree with most of this fellows post but this last one doesn’t hold up as well in Havoc/Skirmish. Stopping to heal especially in a heavily outnumbered situation will get a small group killed fast. Smaller groups should avoid becoming stationary particularly when they need healing. Guardians and Shout Warriors should easily keep a mobile team healed up without needing to stop for a water field.
The smaller the group the more this advice applies. The only time we become stationary in our 5 man is for fire fields before a fight or to drop a massive amount of DPS on a target area.
1-2 Eles should be plenty, same for necro. Unless you decide to run a backline heavy comp than you should be good.
The current meta (at least on FA) run frontlines and backlines. Basically the frontline is the “hammer train” and the backline is usually long-range casters such as eles necros and mesmers. Since you are going to be running a small group of 5-10 you are going to want to create a strategy that can combat this. With the current servers that we are facing its very rare to see a group as small to where you can fight it with 5-10 tbh, but a group of 15-20 can do a lot if you are organized.
Regardless of your group size I would recommend having classes in your comp that can give your party plenty of stability. Its also nice to have a few members that can cleanse conditions. Also having a person or 2 that has the ability to strip boons is great as well since most groups these days stack might and stability before they initiate a fight. So stripping their stability and 25 stacks of might will make your fight a lot easier. On top of that having water fields from engies or staff eles helps a lot as well, as using blast finishers on water fields is the primary way to heal groups right now.
Shields can be used offensively. In sPVP theyre mainly used to stun lock the enemy while you kill them. Shield bash is a great skill imho. The other skill shield stance is nice as well and if you trait it with missile deflection it’s really funny.
So yeah, there you go.
Thank you sir, that was an enjoyable read.
I have decided to stick with the warrior, and my current warrior to be exact (Charr Powa!) Something about T3 charr heavy armor… and the animations for a Charr look so much better than they do on a human(savage leap looks so graceful!). But if I do make a Mesmer im sure I will have a fun time, whenever that comes.
(edited by CountzuCrytus.7256)
The items you get from the chests you get vary depending on your rank. So if you are deer ranked you can only Gear Krait and Svanir type of weapons. (Go to http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Pvp_rewards for a list of all available rewards for each rank for armor/weapon class).
Also if you visit the link above you can go to the “match Win Rewards” section and look at all the rewards you have a chance of receiving when you win a tPVP match.
If you scroll even further down you can look at all the rare weapons you can craft in sPVP using the salvaged remains of the gear you don’t need doubles of.
Although the recipes that are listed there only have a chance of making the weapon it will not always craft the said weapon.
I vote bring the original Pin Down Back.
Its useful for blasting combo fields and creating a fire field to stack might for your group. Outside of that I would probably not use one. There are much better choices.
So recently ive felt like playing a Sword/Sword class and am having a hard time deciding between a Warrior or a Mesmer.
A little background about myself..
I’m someone that’s very experienced with the game have have 6 80s already (one of them being a warrior already the only ones that arnt 80 is Mesmer and Engy). I don’t mind recreating a warrior on a different race though. Mesmer on the other hand is someone that I have @ 20 currently and the only reason is because of the Birthday gifts (cant get rid of those things!) As a player I’m a part of a part of a hardcore WvW guild but the character here would be more of a PvX character that I would use when not running together with the guild. So it would be a fair balance between roaming in WvW to sPVP and some PVE content.
What I would like to get opinion on is how the community feels about S/S on a warrior vs S/S on a Mesmer.
I would like to get peoples input on the
-effectiveness of S/S builds in each category of the game for either class
-effectiveness of the skills themselves and overall synergy that they have.
-overall usefulness @ level 80 content (PVE,WvW,sPVP)
-overall fun of S/S on one class over the other.
Also… would you say that a dual Infinite light would look better on a warrior or a Mesmer? o.O
Elementalist is a hard class to learn off the bat that I agree, also its one of the more fun classes. The learning curve it’s fairly steep but once you learn how to play the class it’s very exciting.
As a D/D elementalist you don’t really want to be auto attacking unless you are in Air Attunement (or fire sometimes) as those 2 tend to be the most effective. You have lots of utilities that can make a huge difference in your survival. IL give a few examples that you might want to try, some may be more fun or effective than others.
Glyph of Storms- This little baby will have you put down an AOE skill depending on what attunement you are on. The 2 main ones to look at are Water and Earth. If you are in earth this will put an AOE blind (5 person cap) on top of doing damage. The Water version puts Chilled on the enemy which makes movement/skill recharge slower.
Mist Form- It’s your clutch Oh S*** skill.
Glyph of Lesser Elementals- Summons an elemental depending on what attunement you are in. Since you have trouble surviving I recommend you use the Water or Earth version as well since they are the 2 tankiest ones. Also the water version can heal as well.
Conjure Lightning Hammer- It’s a conjure skill so once you use it, you get a new weapon which means technically you won’t be D/D. But the auto attack on this hammer causes blind on the 3rd hit. Also it boosts your base stats so you will be doing more damage with it than you normally would.
Other Things to consider…
Using most Cantrips will not interrupt channel skills. So what you can do is use Churning Earth (5 on Earth as D/D) and right before the channel goes off you can use Lightning Flash (utility) and teleport yourself on top of the enemy. At low levels that in itself should do at least 50% of most normal enemies’ health.
Hope some of those tips help with the survivability issue…
As far as other classes, I would not disregard the ranger because the skills may seem similar on the GS as compared to a warrior. Ranger in fact has 2 of the most fun/unique weapons in game. Them being the Greatsword and Sword.
Ranger is Warrior BETA
For what the OP has stated as requirements, a warrior would make more sense.
I will add, though, that 1V1 against any class build EXCEPT for perma stealth, Rangers totally kick kitten, and will destroy a warrior one on one (I state this with the caveat that both players are of equal ability). IMO Rangers are absolutely, hands down, the best roaming class.
I actually had a few 1v1s against a guildie of mine last night as a ranger. We were both running really glassy builds too so it was a lot of fun. He was running Axe/Axe and Hammer with me as Greatsword Longbow. It was fairly even i would say. Basically if one person caught the other they would win that round.
Funniest things were the 6k counterattack kick and the hilt bash while he was mid air on his Earthshaker
To the OP Though:
A warrior in my opinion is a lot more brute force, where as a ranger requires more tactical play (more my style) to bring down their enemies.
Warrior is currently the Meta for dungeons, and with really simple and easy to kill mobs using 100B and Triple Chop and a 5second weapon swap it’s no wonder most people flock to them. Also having the highest base armor and highest health pool in the game at the same time helps too. That all may sound great but in reality what it brings is mind-numbingly boring gameplay.
Rangers right now are hated on a lot by the community. Between lots of useless traits and not the kindest UI/AI for their pets its not really a shocker either. As a ranger you will not see numbers as huge as you can on a warrior. If huge numbers is exciting gameplay for you than by all means go for the warrior. On the other hand the ranger brings a lot more tactical play to a fight. If its between supporting allies through spirits or survival skills or throwing down huge AOE heals that give regen. Their weapon skills have a lot more flare if you ask me and a lot of the weapon skills have great synergy between them, they don’t feel like just a bunch of random skills that are thrown together on a hotbar. Also on a ranger you will find one of the hardest and most unique weapons to use (1h sword) effectively. Blocking and countering that big hit with your great sword, or dazing them in middle of their attack and interrupting it (like I did earth shaker last night) is a pretty epic feeling. And that my friend is why i say ranger anyday.
It depends on the team, if you have a full 5 team in a tPVP match you can bunker or whatever you want as long as your team has a roamer that can come help you in case you’re outnumbered or losing the fight. but in random pickup groups i wouldnt really fight outnumbered unless youre really confident you can win. It may sound lame but running into a group of 2-3 people by yourself is pointless to do…
according to wiki
“The effect from this can be stacked up to 8 hours 59 minutes, any further use of boosters will go to waste as it cannot increase over the 9 hour mark. "
So dont use all of them
- http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Glory_Booster
The trick is to know when to fight and when it’s better for you to back out. If you’re standing at a point and you see several people coming at you, request help (if you’re in a organized group it tends to work a lot better). If there is no help coming you’re better off going elsewhere because they will take the point and you also give them extra 5 points for killing you :P
Elementalist is a great class but its not for the faintest of heart. Be prepared to eat dirt for a while. But, if you learn to play the class, and once you get to max level its one of the most dynamic and fun to play classes. So don’t be discouraged by the difficulty at the beginning.
Edit:
If you decide its not the class for you, might want to consider a Warrior as playing one is a lot more forgiving. Also warriors can use most of the weapons(mainhand and offhand) in the game; they have the highest health pool and use heavy armor.
(edited by CountzuCrytus.7256)
not to state the obvious but have you clicked on which skin, stats and rune you want out of the group?
I don’t find the current ascended armor bad, it may not be the most appealing armor in game to some players but the amount of detail placed in it is astonishing.
In fact light ascended armor on a human female ele (with trickster shoulders and Named Light armor Head-blindfold) looks pretty good in my opinion ?
I’ll agree that not all pieces of the ascended armor are great, but I’m someone that enjoys mix and matching armor, the certain pieces of the ascended armor definitely fit in great.
The skills are the same for the weapon regardless of what level you are. If you use a 2h weapon the 1-5 skills are affected by it, but if you use 2 1h weapons. The 1st 3 are from the mainhand and last 2 are from the offhand ( except for thief they’re a little different). You have the option of selecting your utilities (7-9) at your choosing and your heal as well (6) along with the elite(10). Also at level 10 you get traits that you can put points into that may change your skills effects (weapon healing utilities and elites). So even though there might not seem be as big of a variety there’s plenty of customization options.
Edit: Ninja’d by locoman * shakes fist *
so many choices…
Elementalist!
It doesn’t get much more hybrid than an elementalist with full Celestial Gear : D
Elementalist have strong choices for melee range (D/D), Medium Range (Scepter/Dagger or Scepter/Focus), and Long range (Staff).
They have 4 attunements each one focusing on a different aspect of game play.
*Fire usually associated with DPS, damage, nukes and spikes.
*Water associated with healing support and chill.
*Air usually associated with CC/stuns/knockbacks and blind.
*Earth usually associated with defense CC and bleeds.
You have skills that make you invulnerable so using a panic skill when you’re about to get hit hard is not hard (mist form, Obsidian flesh etc.) You also have the ability to heal a lot of damage. It’s not per say a healer as you’re used to in a traditional MMO but even if you do get hit… and live… you won’t have any problems getting yourself back to full health.
Elementalist are pretty much wanted in just about every game mode (maybe not sPVP atm, it’s been a while since I did anything in sPVP on my Ele) so you will never have trouble finding a group.
Guardians are a good choice too… but I find playing an Elementalist a lot more dynamic and fun than I do my Guardian.
Could be wrong… but it looks very similar to Deep Glacial Sky Dye, (preview before buying :P )
Norn! It doesnt get much more epic than a giant barbarian guy with a hobosack that can change into a bear and run half way across the map with 1 skill (Charge). Oh did i mention that you can flip karkas in southsun without playing the minigame? Why not go norn…
