Just had a look at the Grenth hood in the pvp locker.
On charr it clips with every chestpiece. Literally every single one
and this is on the default body proportions.
On humans it clips on some, among others the dredge chestplate, the nightmare chestplate and the very popular arah chestplate on heavy.
Magitech coat, flame legion coat, orrian coat and nightmare coat on medium
Orrian vest, tactical vest and flame legion vest on light armor
as well as many shoudlerpieces across all armor classes.

Probably the first LS i didn’t like at all, seriously. Instructions are unclear
and my party ended up running around aimlessly for a long time.
Endfight was good but at that point I was so frustrated that i couldn’t enjoy it.
You know it’s Scarlet when the forums explode with hate threads about her.

Not for this lead writer woman though. She already stated that Scarlett is her favourite
character and she seems a bit fond of her, erm, let’s call it ‘writing abilities’ so

I did 30, 31, 32 today and was fairly easy, except 4th map on 32 with the molten bosses wich are OP. The old bugs are still there, I wonder what did they “fix” … Oh, got a staff skin and a Momentum Sigil drop, + a lot of rares + few exotics, so at least from this point of view A Net improved.

After talking to other it seems you need to disable the gooey wall in front of the
cooling sockets through a console in the room with the turrets.
Apparently it is possible to complete the level without that since my group
did just that. We somehow got all cells, god knows how but after ages of looking someone found the last.
And guess who is behind all this? Normally I like the LS but this release was just garbage. Hopefully they’ll release something along the lines of queens pavillion again soon.

My group is also completely lost. From what i’ve seen you need three,
one after the blob, one is in the room with the energy shields.
There are also 1 console that doesn’t do anything upon interaction in the blob chamber and one in the shield chamber. There is also one in the shield chamber
behind a barrier but it doesn’t disappear, even after using the first console.
GG anet, great job in communicating what to do to the players.

Just read the first post again. The OP isn’t upset about the possibility of people getting rewards, he/she is upset about people wanting to be rewarded.

Only applies if you play on a EU server. Fun fact: Language spoken by the majority of people in europe is german. Why should people adapt to a minority?

tried everything. still the same problem
I played regen/bunker sword + wh mace + shield warrior and our main strat was to have 1 person on all 3 points once we 3 capped and I’d move wherever the enemy pressured with the most players as taking me out with that build was just too hard for even 3 players while I didn’t really do much damage myself. The pros of the build are: team support with low dps stunlock chain, banner of defense gave perma regen and extra stats for anyone else on the point, warbanner for insta res in clutch situations which won us 2v2’s and 2v3’s and the overall tankiness, AoE condi removal and burst support make this build good for a mobile bunker. Best thing is dec 10 will leave this build untouched.
Currently playing the build you described. How can you survive against
more than 2 people? Because the way you said it wasn’t just: I can stand my ground
until reinforcements arrive but rather: they were never gonna kill me with 3 people.
Sounds a bit unrealistic with only shield block mace #2 and traited endure pain
at 25% against physical damage. Especially since this build doen’t have burst healing.
I’m very, very sorry; since when ‘OP’ <25% ANY character doesn’t die from simple burst of almost any class?
You play condition meta, ask nerf conditions and at the same time whine on smth (AR) that just calls for burst… are you hearing yourself?
Automated immunity is bad design. Giving people more
tools to deal with applied conditions is one thing. Making them
immune below a certain threshold is another as it hardcounters
any condition build. Again, an advantage due to build is fine,
the fact that a certain type of damage flat out doesn’t work is not.
That’s the same as if warriors had a GM trait in defense that gives them
immunity to physical damage below 25% health.
And please don’t come with warrior zerker stance. It only lasts 8 seconds
(52 secs downtime!) and he has to give up a utility slot.
1) How long did it take to create Skyhammer compared
to Spirit watch and Temple of the silent storm?
2) How long did it take to create the initial maps that were ready at release
and which one do you think is the best/most fun to play?
3)Are there any plans to release more maps
that feature underwater combat or do you think it is neccessary
to overhaul UW combat first to make it worthwhile for PvP?

Maybe i should add that the screen attached was after my last d/c which put me
to character select.
Normally i get a blackscreen with a notification that the client lost connection to the server and i have to alt f4 out and restart the launcher.
After that the game will fail to connect to the login servers twice (timeout i guess)
and i can log in again at the third attempt (every time)
I’m experiencing many disconnects during spvp
either when a solo queue match pops, normally when the notification
is displayed that the system has found a match or during a match
and i think it has to do something of how the team rosters load.
Anyone who played spvp knows that sometimes when a teammate dies,
his hp bar at the edge of the screen will disappear and reappear as full.
I think the disconnects appear sometimes when the game tries to
refresh the roster.
That would also explainwhy i get d/c’ed before the start when the game loads the roster.
edit: disregard that. i just had a d/c totally at random! again…

I don’t care for d/cs in pve since it’s only a few silver and running from the nearest wp
but in spvp? I don’t like screwing 4 other people over and i know it is
anet fault for crappy servers or whatever.

‘dwindling’ numbers of players inside the tower
is an understatement. almost nobody does it anymore
because other things are way more rewarding so i guess
supply isn’t refreshed anymore since the droprate

Centers around snaring with leg specialist and then DPSing opponents down with the two highest coeficient burst skills in rifle and axe. Completely glass so you’ll eat it frequently if you get caught out of position, but man it’s a blast when it works and you’re sniping people for half their health bar!
Personally I prefer having 10 points in Arms so you can have Crack Shot, piercing shots and a cooldown reduction are really good. Especially when you’re hitting multiple people with Killshot and Volley.
Crack shot requires 20 pts. You have to give up either berserker’s power and 100 power or burst mastery and 10% crit dmg. Piercing shots are pretty useful but enough to justify that?

This build will probably work only against very bad opponents.
I mean, looking at your combat log:
rifle butt, then immediatly killshot, two warriors so no screen clutter with ai mobs.
Anyone who plays pvp longer than a week could dodge that.
Is that soloq? Why are you playing a trollspecc in solo queue?
He isn’t completely wrong in saying that that specc doesn’t help your team at all.
On the other hand: who plays a class in arena if it’s his first day :/

A: yes if no one comes to your point, but don’t fully engage, be ready to get back to your point quickly.
That’s exactly the problem; this build has mediocre to bad mobility.
While i know that not staying on home is important i’d like to know if it’s worth the risk to go away and help in teamfights.
A: Depends on your team comp, if you are the bunkeriest bunker on the team, go to mid, though you should have that role in mind when buildcrafting if you want to be a mid bunker. Don’t worry about bursting the npcs, only kill them if the enemy team are killing it and you can steal. (as a general rule)
Well, in soloq the communication can be quite a problem and normally ther is at least on person on either team to kill the npcs.
A: You may hate me for this but, this one is a matter of practice. As a bunker you should not be being killed ‘easily’ by thieves/glass cannons. It might take some time, but keep practising.
I wasn’t talking about myself; i can survive burst speccs quite well.
What i meant was: if i move to mid and leave the home cap to someone else
with a non bunker specc he/she is in danger of getting ganked and we lose
close/far and mid is contested. My question should rather be:
Is a bunker in teamfights very important and is the build i posted
supportive enough to justify going mid from the start.
A: you may get away with this, but treb is far too far away from close to really justify this unless your team needs the help on mid that badly. I would suggest trying to help the teamfights in other ways.

A: It is not the bunker’s ‘job’, but it is important. Try to help your team with tranq/still, don’t worry too much about ferocity. I commonly help at tranquility as it really is a game changer. I would say don’t go to a buff if you are in a fight on a point that you own.
so tranq is priority #1 but only if i am idle waiting for something to happen on my node?
A: I really don’t know, not a warrior, though I do enjoy a good banner res. You should be aware that you aren’t removing conditions from allies with CI/zerk stance
What i meant was converting and removing condis with warhorn +reduced cd.
Works like a charm in teamfights against condi spam, especially together with a guardian. I know, warriors are the center of attention right now but
cond spam from necros and especially engineers is a common scenario
and it works a bit too well for my liking.

I’m not asking how to play my classe; much rather how a good bunker should behave
in different situations.
Let’s assume I go close first, is it a good idea to help out in mid
after that considering my low mobility or stay in case the enemy has
roamers for decapping far?
The easiest maps are foefire and spirit watch because of the little time
it takes to get from mid to far/close so i’m specifically asking for kylo
and niflhel.
Is it even a good idea to go close first as a bunker in forest considering
the capper normally bursts the npcs or should I straight head for mid?
There’s also the danger of the enemie having burst roamers who can
gank the person guarding close easily. (I have seen enough thieves with insane
burst potential)
Is it considered useful to leave home in kylo to treb mid during a teamfight or should that always do a light armor who is not as useful in team scenarios?
Is it the bunkers job to secure the buffs on the kodan map?
If yes, which ones? Tranquility seems a little bit of a hassle, again
because of low mobility.

Would you consider it to be more of a team support since it has very good buff/cond removal potenital, ressing due to banner and stomp/ress interrupts on the offset
or would it be better to solo bunk close with SoR instead of BS?

I am so glad this thread exists! Don’t get me wrong, being matched with
players outside your league must be a bad experience but that’s how
it was for me the past few days too.
Now i’m playing bunker and secure close most of the time in order for my team
to concentrate on mid but even though I try everything we lose 3 out of 4 matches
and really don’t know why. I’ve got a good understanding of every class and
know what is important in a conquest style game but my team
seems to be composed of mostly bad players who zerg offpoint or lose
even though outnumbering the enemy. (don’t mind the occasional far-rusher who ends up losing the 1v1 anyway…)
I thought it was my fault for not carrying my team hard enough even though there doesn’t seem to be anymore a single person can do.
I feel for you and sincerely hope matchmaking gets better, but seeing as others suffer the same problem is quite reassuring that it’s a flaw in the system
Also i was matched yesterday with edo tensei several times even though i am rank 27
and have about 40 tournaments played and he supposedly is in top 50.
That happened at primetime friday evening! Nobody can tell me there aren’t enough players to compose the matches accordingly. It’s flattering that the system thinks we are of the same skill level but really, those fights are just
a waste of everyones time.

You have to admit, it’s really strange when i spend years gaming without any kind of connectivity problems and even within gw2 only this particular gamemode is affected.
I’ve been playing the game since release and started pvp’ing shortly after, basically only hotjoin for casual fun and never had any dc’s in over a year.
Recently i got into tpvp and only i get dc’ed there. Certainly seems strange to me.
You got randomly disconnected 5 times in 24 hours?
Maybe you should fix your interwebs.
You’re having a negative impact on any team you’re on because you keep dcing.
Never had that problem in any other game as long as i have the interwebz, which is quite some time now. I also never experienced that in another gamemode, only solo queue so i’m pretty sure the mistake is not on my end.
