It seems the change that fixed tagging for vets/camps also applied to WvW. When I was playing my upleveled staff ele in a zerg fight before I would get very few tags as I couldnt attack people enough to get credit. Now a single hit suffices and loot is raining on my low level alt.

The guild bank remains on the old world, if you transfer back you can get those items. Even if you transferred your entire guild. The only time the guild bank goes poof is if you delete your guild.
Alternatively you can invite someone on that server that you deem trustworthy give them bank access and have them mail the contents of the guild vault to you.

I’m going to give a little feedback here based on a few things said and how I feel about it.
If you get downed in an alpha fight it seems to me that you are supposed to rally off the tendrals not attempt to res rally. The mechanics of the boss and the fact that these things exist in the fight leans me in this direction. And I’m totally ok with this.
I wish his massive aoe wouldn’t require vigor or another invun/evasive move, sometimes he triggers his massive aoe over and over really quickly and your endurance doesn’t have time to regen, this is when we actually lose people if they have no quick way to get out of the aoe or evade using a different ability.
Overall alpha is fine, except Path 1 is simply way too easy comparatively.

ANET, why disable everything. In WvW, I think there should be a simple rule:
1. If it changes your skill bar, disable it (golem, gears, etc)
2. If it is a passive ability, leave it (venom, etc)Why? It doesn’t change the core gameplay and everyone has access to it if they want. It’s no different than any other food.
Skale venom I have to go into PvE to attain. Food consumeables I do not, I can get them off the TP I can get their raw materials in WvW and craft it in WvW.
Also what is wrong with fireworks? I like fireworks.

Flurry: Switching to a different weapon while using this skill prevents you from attacking for a few seconds.
I haven’t been able to replicate. If there is a delay its way less than a half second. Ive gone from Flurry to HB over a hundred times without issue.
Vengeance: Vengeance can deny kill credit to opponents that do not re-tag you after you use this ability. No exp – no loot.

Vorch you can set your guild up like that. The creator of the guild should create a ‘founder’ rank above leader rank, where they only reside in. If the guild has a dispute you can contact your founder and have him log in to remove the unpopular leader.

Anet does not resolve situations like this in your guild, you will need to have him willingly give up the leadership seat. If he doesn’t and goes inactive long enough then you can contact support to try to get another officer promoted. I do believe they can step in and promote someone if the current leader no longer logs in (or is banned forever).
They will not play middle person to a dispute within the guild between the acting leader and the members of that guild.
I will suggest after you get through with this ordeal that you setup your guild ranks better.
Create a new rank called Founder, put the original guild leader in that rank, put your next leader in the leader rank. Leader and Founder should have the same permissions, except leaders will not be able to demote the founder account. Even though the founder might be away for a while or otherwise not active in the game s/he can resolve issues with current leadership through demotion by logging into the game.

Food and potions can be created using mats from wvw. Although some of the mats are exceedingly rare in WvW.
Consumables usually only can be obtained by doing PvE events, and arnt balanced for WvW.
I do think balanced consumables should be allowed. And fun consumables, like fireworks. Scale Venom, spike fruit, gears weren’t balanced.
Nekos, you wouldn’t ban fireworks would you? A lot of people like to use fireworks in wvw during fun events, like the dolyak parades

- Siege blueprints being soulbound but still able to transfer between characters (seems like 2 people in the same department disagreed on this solution which is why we can trade the blueprints by dropping them but yet they are “soulbound”)
Anet has commented on this specifically.
1) Anet intended them to be unbound
2) The #2 ability that stows the item, requires the item to be soulbound under the current inventory system, otherwise the #2 becomes broken
3) The current method of transfering the items is intended, when the above is resolved they will probably remove the soulbound designation.
4) It is not currently high priority to fix this, as there are things with higher priority, such as culling and queue issues.

Anet doesnt have to take anything offline to put something on sale. Anets servers are very compartmentalized, for example on release the BLTC was down most of the time but the game still operated, we had moments were the guild servers etc were down, but the game still operated.
I know other games where if one part of it stopped working it would just bring the whole system down entirely.
one neat thing is the servers dont really go down through the patch, they just flip to the new version, let people finish out their instances in the old version while new logins load into the new version. The only place this cant apply is wvw, because you cant have 2 versions of wvw up at the same time.

Fortunately I’ve met a lot of intelligent people who realize it’s a waste of time fighting in JPs. We just cautiously move around each other and we both benefit. Enemy or not, in the long run cooperation pays off.
Those who fight in JPs are pretty much tools of Anet. They fight….because Anet tells them to. Because the other guy is red. Meaning if their own teammates were red they would mindlessly go into a berserk rage and try to kill or die themselves. Can’t reason with these guys.
Unfortunately irrational people end up ruining it for those who are more sensible. Lots of us come to WvW just for the badges and we all benefit by getting what we want. In addition, killing someone actually has a pretty kittenty badge drop rate. The risk/reward ratio is extremely poor.
So for those who fight “just because it’s red”, consider that you’re being manipulated. You fight just because you’re told to fight. You say it’s a PvP map. So what? It doesn’t force you to do anything. If you feel compelled to be belligerent just because of a color…well then you’re a tool. It’s as simple as that.
So I’ve learnt that when I do JPs as a mesmer, I equip my focus and coolly pull off the ledge those who attack me. I’m not interested in killing them – not worth my time. They’re just annoyances to be gotten rid of when they come between me and my badges.
So please – don’t waste my time attacking me in JPs. Be a bit sensible and we’ll all get what we came here for without any pesky situations along the way.
So according to your reasoning we shouldnt fight each other at all in WvW, we should just take our share of keeps and towers and then just take turns flipping SM against the NPC’s. Because fighting other people in a WvW zone is being ‘manipulated’ by anet.
Just like killing NPC’s in a PvE zone is getting ‘manipulated’ by anet. And you call others tools?
I kill people in the JP’s because thats where I often find the best small group, non-lol-zerg fights. The traps, the cliffs all help make the fights very tactical at times.

1 dollar is not 1 euro, but it costs anet more money to sell a gem to a European. You have VAT and conversion rates and fees to consider. And because anet wants to offer a stable price when currency conversion is not stable you end up with periods of under/over.
In the end it probably is less profitable per gem to sell to a European, all factors considered.

Yeah sure things like gearspam is obviously broken, so the item should be removed.
But I don’t think you should remove fireworks or transformation tonics and similar from wvw.

It is a bit presumptuous to assume just because no one has found this item that it doesn’t exist.
Consider the following facts:
The majority of level 80s do not go to lower level zones for long periods of time (usually just for map completion, and when you do map completion you don’t particular care to do the events)
A dev has said its been double checked and the item should be available but the item has a low chance to drop.
Outside of the popular events (dragons, shadow behemoth, etc) in the lower level zones some zones in this game are pretty deserted. I would say its likely that not every item has been found in this game if the item comes from a lower level zone and you have to be level 80 to have a shot at getting it.
These are the areas we should be looking, events in lower level zones that have a boss that gives a chest.
I actually think it is unlikely that the z cata event contains this item, because the event is at least run semi-regularly on multiple servers.

Most effective method of farming cores/lodestones is to do CoE Path 1. Get on average 1 core per run and the runs take 30 mins or less.

Not exactly true, stack the fire of 5 arrow carts on a spot and a zerg wont want to stand in it (or they die).
The problem with ‘hit everything in an aoe’ is twofold
1) Intense lag issues
2) Everyone will want to play AOE classes (the brightwizard problem of WAR) and get lazy and easy killcounts.
The reason zergs are powerful right now actually has little to do with aoe damage, rez mechanics, etc.
It has to do with the fact that there is only a very small amount of viable objectives in WvW, meaning that zerging is an effective strategy because you can count on Righteous Indignation to hold a camp for you against anything but a Zerg. Limiting that camp as a target for 5 minutes after you cap it.
Small teams are limited to harrassing supply routes and supply camps, and that is all good and fine until you realize that half the camps are going to have the RI buff when you get to them (camps flip often).
Secondly there are only a limited number of these open targets, so to fix it in the end anet needs to add more open but important objectives to wvw that is important to maintain, not just roll over cap it and leave.
WvW will open up more to small groups if RI is done away with. If RI is done away with I can hover near a camp, run away when a zerg shows up and recap it right after they leave if they refuse to leave people to defend. If they leave people to defend then we have more small skirmish options.

We can rule out popular events for a different reason. Considering there is only a smaller segement of the population looking for the item, we need to concentrate our efforts in areas that are NOT popular to increase our pool of data. Popular events are popular, if the item drops from a popular event, eventually that item will make its way onto the TP, when that happens we know the item was found. By focusing our efforts on unpopular events we make it more likely that Final Rest will be found.
Basically I would recommend not spending any effort on any popular event chain, such as Shadow Behemoth.
I would also rule out events that lead to a chest that already drops a known named exotic and focus on the events that dont currently have a known named unique exotic associated with them.

Also when im running away from an enemy and i dont have Whirlwind attack up my other option is to use Rush, but the problem is even if i dont have an enemy target it will Rush to the nearest enemy. Today i hit rush going over a bridge running away from an enemy and it rushed to a target under the bridge making me fall off and having to walk all the way back up to where i was which is a bit annoying. Can we fix Rush to not target the nearsest enemy or at least give the option to do so?
L2P Issue.
You can already turn this effect off in options. Open options and uncheck “autotargeting”. With autotargeting enabled, the game will always target a nearby enemy to use the skill on. Useful in certain situations and certain classes (mesmers benifit from AT, warriors do not). Unchecking autotargeting turns this behaviour off, so rush wont target the nearest enemy anymore.

The point is I didn’t make the game (so no reason to), but they (hopefully) did, and should know what everything is/does. And after needing/deciding to ban the first item, you (or I at least) would hope that someone in that room would go…what about all the other combat consumables?
I’m guessing either that meeting didn’t take place, or no one cared and it was faster to just “fix” the one item and wait for another thread like this to ban the next item.
Lets put it this way, a few months ago the devs banned every item thought to give an advantage in WvW in one pass, however they missed 2 items, GiB and this one. GiB was discovered and fixed, and now this one will probably be fixed relatively quickly.
Mistakes happen and we can help anet by reporting these mistakes, there are a LOT of consumables in the game, (in the hundreds i think). Its pretty easy to miss one, or think you disabled one but didnt by mistake.

The reasons zergs form and are powerful have nothing at all to do with aoe limitation, in combat ressing etc. I dont really want non-siege aoe buffed in any way, last thing we need is ‘brightwizards’ in gw2 causing lagstorms while racking up lazy and easy killcounts.
It has to do with the objectives in wvw.
If they removed the righteous indignation buff wvw would be much more friendly to small groups constantly harrassing supply lines and supply camps, encouraging the enemy team to actually leave defenders at camps.
Something will have to be done to the event system to prevent intentional reflipping (scale reward based on how long the site was captured?). But as of right now, as a small group withdrawing from a supply camp, because a huge zerg is rolling in, to cap it back when they leave isnt a good strategic option.
I could see a whole bunch of small action plays that can be made if the RI buff was gone, includeing flipping camps right before timers to rob a lot of score out of the enemy team. That would be one suggestion I would make, to give small groups more things to do, and penalize teams for not covering multiple objectives at once.

Have you tried clearing the remember password checkbox on the launcher login page – then restarting the client?
Also Gaile has stated you should only send one ticket in per issue, putting in more will delay support in helping you and other people.

There is a need to change your password, you can change your password in the forums by clicking My Account above and then entering your old password and your desired new password.
Secondly I would advise you to not threaten legal action as anet might be required to forward it to their legal team, which means you wont get any help from anets support team. In real life this is how it works if you threaten legal action against any entity, the agent will cease helping you and send you to the legal department. It also helps if you spell ‘legal’ correctly.

What small groups do best is to harass supply camps and kill dolyaks. You don’t want to send a zerg to stop supply from getting into a keep, and you don’t want to use a zerg to defend a dolyak. Zergs need to be after strategic targets such as towers and keeps.
Also small groups can effectively stall large groups on strategic objectives, such as preventing ram/catapult construction against your towers. Allowing your zerg to take away objectives from your enemy while they are stalled against you, then redouble and kill the enemy zerg hitting your objective.
