For gaming processers intel is outperforming amd right now, if your limitation is a replacement processer for your current motherboard than it would do you good to list your socket type.
Anyway here is a handy baseline from toms hardware about their opinion on the best gaming processer for your dollar. AMD owns the dirt cheap end Intel owns the moderate to high end.

I am fully aware of dulfy and other resources in how to deal with it. I havent found an effective way to fight tarban as a small group yet. Partially it has to do with how confusion works, if you trait anything that procs an effect on dodge roll it will trigger that 25 stacks of confusion and down you. Same thing with any other trait proc, confusion triggers and you go down, you cant res when you have 25 stacks of confusion on you either because you go down, and you cant purge it, or you go down. Effectively you need to wait it out which is causing us to not do enough dps in the time limit.
If they scale the amount of confusion stacks he throws out it would be doable for smaller parties to take that fight, for example 10 stacks with 5 people 25 if you attack him with 10.

I think the problem stems from having more and more targets of increasing difficulty. Would it be possible going forward as you add targets to only make them availible in certain mission types? IE this is a T1-T3 mission, this is a T1 only mission, this is something you can only get in T3. The targets with really long paths are more unforgiving to small guilds trying to complete T1 missions, if you get 2 with long paths it can take a good chunk of time to find them even with good coordination.

One thing to note that you do move faster when dodge rolling so there is no reason to sit on a full endurance bar unless you need to double dodge in the near future.

Would those changes apply to wvw alone, or to the whole game?
It’s hard to say, again without really having specifics to go into. It’s very likely that any performance improvements would be game wide and not specific to WvW, but if the changes were more specifically related to what happens when a ton of players are around each other at the same time it might more strongly impact WvW than the rest of the game.
In other words, wvw down at the bottom of the priority list so don’t expect any changes any time soon unless they decide it’s affecting a dragon killing blob, in which case it will move up the list.
Just so you know, and can be educated – the game engine renders the entire game. So all he is saying that any performance optimizations to the engine are going to affect the entire game.
Even if they do them specifically to make wvw perform better, its going to affect PvE as well.

add: Yaks also randomly drop 5 supply, and when your force is in a supply pinch the more people that can tag the yak the more chance your force will get a greater boost in supply.

Increasing the cost of rams hurts small man operations on towers and doesn’t change the fact that a large zerg is still going to run over a tower, or they just use catapults on a wall.
The reason zergs are effective, is because of RI. I zerg a camp, and you cant take it back for 5 minutes. If RI was gone small groups can run from larger groups and retake field objectives quickly if the larger group leaves. Obviously the devs will need to adjust the DE rewards for quickly reflipped camps to prevent exploiting this for fast exp/karma/wxp gains but it would allow small man operations to become more than a minor inconvenience.

most targets can be found in under 3 minutes by 5 people. Usually it takes about 1-2 minutes to find a target if you have 5 people searching.
Killing it is another matter but the majority of the targets can be 4-5 manned, (keep in mind you might have to edit your builds, all berserker builds arnt ideal for some of these bosses for example).
My guild completed a T1 bounty on sunday, with neither target prescouted. We had 6 people online.

Added make yaks invulnerable until yak escort guards have been killed.
Gotta disagree here. All that change does is promote zerg play again. I think dolyaks are pretty close to fine the way they are. A better solution would be to up the dolyaks level to 82 when guards are purchased and to 84 if the increased guard level upgrade is purchased.
Having escorted and attacked hundreds of dolyaks it would give the extra time needed while not requiring even more people to attack the dolyak and take it out.
Ive stopped small groups from taking out dolyaks under the current system and ive suicide heavily escorted dolyaks. I believe I deserved those dolyak kills, and the defenders had plenty of chances to stop me or just drop some major healing on the dolyak.
I would ask that you keep the op to things that have majority support.
As far as what I would like to see?
I would like to see a large open (there can and should be plenty of chokepoints etc though) map without castles, or close towers. handful of towers and supply camps, a lower pop limit than the borderlands, and plenty of other small time objectives to fight over.

To fix the daily from becoming an issue they can change it to 1 match victory instead of 3 matches overall.

3 – The full art cinematics. These are my favorites by far. The art of this game is really what makes it so exceptional, and having a display of moving artwork that tells a part of the story is really thrilling. My only gripes are that there aren’t more of them and that we can’t rewatch the ones we’ve previously seen. Also, the release cinematic shown a few years ago that showed the basis of the Zhaitan story isn’t anywhere in the game, which is definitely disappointing.

Another alternative if you dont have access to the gem cards is you can get a generic gift card with a visa or mastercard label on the front. Keep in mind you will need to register the card on their website before you can make an online purchase, you might want to have them register it themselves with thier own address.
Gem conversion is very costly because of the trading post fees (it will cost you 30% of the gems).

Re: titles, I actually like that they are set to be about 7 year goals, now a few of them need fixing but think of it similar to the Heros Ascent title in GW1, getting 15 ranks of that took an insane amount of time.
They just need title rewards for each step on the road to maxing that title.

My guess is you will be able to add 1 supply per level, if you look at the picture it looks like there are 5 levels to it, so it is like having the guild buff. I don’t think it will be a big deal as we usually have a camp or 2 with this buff anyway.
Edit: Unless it stacks and allows you to carry 20, that would be huge.
That would be pretty stupid because you cant even repair a gate or wall with 1 supply (it tells you you havent enough supply) unless Anet fixes this issue. But judging by the past they wont fix it and work around it. And that will (imo) will lead to +2 supply per lvl.
You can build siege though with that additional supply. Plus if you have +5 supply from WvW bonus and +5 supply from a guild upgrade you can carry 20. I think its +1 per level.

When I see powerful blood go up, its more of an indication that more people should be farming southsun than attempting to make a risky flip.

It can, you also can lose heavily, while ecto did shoot up it went from 25.6 silver to 31 silver, a ~21% jump. and thats if you sold at the high point and got significant stock at 25.6 (which is doubtful, if you mass buy really quick the price jumps, same thing with offloading a huge amount at a ‘high point’ good chance someones going to undercut your ecto barrier). So essentially you have at most a 6% profit margin, which is simply too small when there are items out there with 200%+ margins just between the buy and sell orders. I would be willing to bet at the end of the day that more people are going to lose money trying to flip ecto over that news than actually profited. As the change is relatively minor when dealing with the production of ectos (as people will run different events instead of just alt flipping the maw).
Specific to market damages, by putting it out early it allows for some instability yes, but if you withhold it until the patch the shock effect on the market will come all at once and potentially be more damaging.

so an enemy caps a tower with some of your teams ac’s in there.
But now those ac’s are invincible because you cant damage your own teams siege.
Or if the devs make it so your own siege can be taken out by friendlies then that opens up griefing as you cant kill allied players killing your siege.
But if the devs allow you to kill friendlies then a lot of game systems break down…

It is an intended mechanic. If they are building the cats in range of an arrow cart quickly build an arrow cart to tear them up. if they are building them out of range of an arrow cart use multiple catapults/trebuchet to counter. Trebuchet splash is large and you can aim it right to left to try to splash the catapults by landing the shot outside of where the winds are stacking.
If you forced your enemy to use cat at range you have ALREADY delayed them significantly. Notifiy friendly forces to come to your aid.

That isnt correct. Ive seen people be able to walk without cleansing in the middle of it so its definately not 0.5-1s It’s more like 0.5-1.5s Which means if only a single arrow cart is doing it you will be able to move a little. Also condition duration reduction can help significantly here to get through it.
Blinks, teleports, immob breaks, cleanse (and dodging instantly after), dodging, invun, blocks can all help you get through. Until anet determines it needs nerfing us players need to adapt to it, and there are currently plenty of options to do so. Plenty of counterplay. Including the best option is to build your own siege weapon to take out defensive arrow carts.

O(n) is fine when n is like 5.
There is a massive difference between O(log n) and O(n) when n is 100.So for values under 5 or so, you might as well use O(n).
For much more than that you should use a binary search, at least, for O(log n).
At some point you should consider a hash table.Not that there’s anything wrong with using a hash table for n=100, just that the gains over a binary search at n=100 aren’t that big. That’s the argument you might actually use and win.
But to argue that O(n) is fine in a WvW battleground that can have > 100 players going into a list that may need to be updated many times per second? That’s just lazy programming, not to mention bad practice and probably not a real keen thing to have in your sample code you show at your next interview.
O(n) into the 100s of items is an amazing waste of resources.
Except it is very common for a lot of operations. Usually you dont get into trouble computationally until its at least O(n^2), but even then for a lot of computations O(n^2) isnt going to get you into trouble until you are well into the thousands. I dont think event computation is O(n) every time someone hits something. When the defense quest ends is where the costly computation is, but it should only be O(n) which isnt a big deal.
A zerg fight can be brought down to O(n^(n)) in computation. Which makes this defense quest problem so trivial in comparison.

Jason, thanks for your work on this, but wouldn’t it be easier to allow the mystic forge to correct this issue with this tonic and other tonics (Hard Potion, Warm Potion etc) by allowing us to ‘replace’ them with a simple mystic forge combination?
Hard Potion + Copper Ore + Jute Scrap + green wood log = fixed hard potion? something like that?
Considering this issue was caused on items stripped of their account bound property this could correct the issue without much development effort.
