Dragonbrand server, It isn’t working for me either.. I have been inside the house many times thinking the boss was underground or something and there is nothing in the house or a stair leading to a basement. If she is suppose to be in the house, well she isn’t, there is nothing in there.
What do you have against everyone obtaining them? Isn’t that why most people play a game to get a certain item cause it looks cool? Or is it that it takes away you being the special snowflake that sits in Lion’s Arch “Oh look at me, look at me” rolls eyes.. Sounds familiar? Yeah, sounds too much like the elitist jerks in world of warcraft.. And sadly some of the gw2 community is starting to sound just like them.
This needs to be addressed(Mystic forge and Legendary Pre-cursors)

900g are you KITTEN serious? There’s no way in hell he earnt that much without cheating. I hope he gets banned repeatedly in the face.)
Really! How do you know that for sure? So, if I had 900g I should be banned? Even if everything I have done was legit? Even if I play the game as it should be played? I should be banned for having 900g. What? Am I not allowed to earn money in this game? What? You mean I can’t save my money in this game? What a bunch of judgmental trigger happy tarts. Just because a player has 900g doesn’t always mean they cheated or did something wrong. So, in your eyes, must my toon always be a broke miserable freakin peasant? There are some players that are honest and make their gold legitimately. What right do you have to place judgement upon them.
Yeah, for whatever reason I don’t always get the “quote” tool when I’m lookin’ at a thread, so I have to copy and paste instead. Problem fixed, no harm done.
If you use the permanent link and edit the last part of the URL so that it has the post number followed by /quote, e.g. “/332819/quote”, you can get around the missing tools.
And to stay on topic, I only have two rules when it comes to etiquette:
- Treat other folks how you would like to be treated
- If someone is behaving badly, give them the benefit of the doubt until they’ve proven themselves to be an irredeemable jerk.
Everyone has bad days and sometimes there are other reasons for folks doing things that annoy you that have nothing to do with them being a jerk. That guy that cut you off on the road – maybe he just found out his wife is in the hospital. The person that ran off after only rezzing you half way? Maybe her guild mate was in trouble (we use Teamspeak when we WvW) and she had to go. At least the next person that comes along only has half as much to do to revive you.
Having a bad day is no excuse for treating others badly. I have bad days, I don’t get in the game and treat others badly.
My main toon is a leatherworker. Why doesn’t my collectibles not show up in the experiment panel. I can’t hardly even discover recipes. I found a bag in the GW2 database that she can make. After discovering a bag I tried to discover it. Only the rune of holding will not show up in the panel as it did on the first bag. I only have a few show up and most of the time I can’t even use them.
If toons can get married, then there must be life insurance. In case the spouse dies in battle. Then the living spouse gets all the money and property.. grin
I’m all for the previewing armor in Trading post. Thumbs up
Here are a few suggestions I would like added to guilds..
1. Date joined and Date last active.. (Some of us guild leaders like to keep track of inactive players)
2. Guild Management: Allow us to set amount of stuff can be taken out of guild bank per rank.
3. Notifications when someone logs on or out in the guild
4. Notifications when a new guildmember joins or leaves the guild.
5. Notification if a guild member represents or unrepresents
Can we please have a interactive in game calender we can use to place guild events on? Not only just for guild events, but it is also one way to let players know of events you guys come up with by placing them on the calender.
Ok, that is all I have at the moment. If anyone else has any ideas add them.

I can deal with the armor repairs if they would just get rid of the waypoint cost. I agree with you on this.
There is enough gold sink in this game. I have to agree the waypoints should go. After all the teleport system in GW1 didn’t cost anything.
Feeling powerful is for stroking egos. Sorry, I like the down scaling.
Then what is the point of Anet making an MMO? Since this game isnt based around loot rewards, why didnt they just save themselves the money on production and just make an arena based game? Your answer makes no sense. People play MMO’s for LOOT.
People play mmos for loot? Really? Are you so sure about that? I can see it now a trailer stating, “Well if you play this game you may get this loot or this loot or you may have the chance for this loot so don’t wait play today”.. (rolls eyes) I hardly doubt that loot is the luster the drawn them to a mmo. I think maybe you need to research a little more.. Most people play mmos for the fun it gives… The loot is just a bonus. Whatever… It goes to show you that loot isn’t what draws people to mmos and your reason people play is really lame.
I strongly disagree with Guild Tax, but if implement it should be Guild Leader Option to charge or not.. Not forced upon. Guild Tax in my opinion is one sure way to loose members… I for one would not join a guild that charges me hard earned money. My suggestion is get out and work for it and stop expecting your members to support your guild. However there is nothing wrong with members to donate. Donations is given from the heart and not forced.
I heard you can still use a waypoint. I’m not sure, I haven’t tested that.
Thanks for a great game Arenanet! And the stunning artwork.
Ground mounts. Maybe…. Not a huge buff or ridiculously huge. It is starting to suck in Orr going from event to event and all the WPs are contested. Never air mounts. That took away so much from wow. They are fun and all, but just starts to skip so much game play so easily. And if everything is getting skipped, then why even add it in the first place?
Flying mounts didn’t take anything from wow. Don’t know where that is coming from. Nothing was skipped since wow is a typical ! over the head mmo. Not like that game would give you any surprises for exploring in the first place. IMO flying mounts allowed viewing of places where as you can’t from ground mounts.
This should not be begged/demanded, however I don’t believe it is wrong that a big guild doing WvW should ask its members for some money in order to make the WvW leader into a commander rank. This rank is extremely useful in WvW and should not be ignored by a large guild, neither should the guild leader be expected to pay the massive fee all by him/herself.
As for the selling ranks: LOLOLOLOL rly? just lol
And as for the requiring a fee to be in the guild, I don’t believe guild taxation is necessarily a bad thing. It’s more of what type of guild you want to be in and taxes should be very minimal and only done in larger WvW guilds for the sake of funding siege warfare and the like.
If it is his/her guild, yes they are obligated to foot the bill, however other guildmates can offer to donate, but not forced to fork over money. Guild taxation is just silly, guild member should donate on their own free will and not be expected to fund the guild leaders on their personal endeavors. Just as guild members aren’t suppose to beg for gold neither is the guild leader.

Quick Notes: 18+ guild, casual, friendly, helpful, we don’t like drama or people that participate in unsavory acts. We are a small guild at the moment. We are looking for quality instead of quantity. Major rules, respect, consideration and patience are the key words when interacting with guildmates and other players. Remember that is our name you carry over your head.
