The tag needs to be removed entirely, or only be allowed in starter zones.

Just bought a $25 2000 gem gift card from Walmart today. Don’t know what other place sells them and I don’t think they come in different amounts.

Our group had about 15-ish members, and had a lot of fun claiming Guilded Hollow with no problems (well, there was ONE hiccup).

On a side note, I thought it was pretty epic when we all glided down to one spot to continue our attack. I had Ride of the Valkyries playing in my head.

I’ve saved a countless number of players and had my bacon pulled out of the fire (but not that legendary wyvern fire… I’m SOL in that event ) many times by other kind souls.

Most of them follow the same philosophy.

In my experience there are far more noble souls than there are jerkasses. That’s the GW2 community for you.

This is pretty much my philosophy. I’m not too bothered if I’m downed and get no help. I completely get it.

What REALLY bothers me is when I’m still up and fighting a mob and I see players run by while jumping to somehow avoid aggro, and not helping at all.

Ah well, karma will get them later I guess.

I was so used to running a minion-less Death Shroud build these last few months, that I completely forgot about the Flesh Golem. Started using it yesterday and wow is it effective! Also, it’s a lot of fun watching it plow through enemies as it charges.

Which also means it will be nerfed soon because necromancer. </sarcasm>

I can agree with that. As others have said, by level 40 one should know what they are doing and wouldn’t really need a mentor anymore.

That being said, I don’t have a commander tag, nor do I foresee myself getting one anytime soon.

There’s a lot of rhetorical charge in that statement, lol.

The economy will be fine. We’ll see some definite change in the economy, but hardly anything to be called a crash.

Well lots of ppl with high ticket items on the tp will loose thousands of gold, in my case I will have 3k gold stuck in the tradepost forever or loose hundreds if gold by relisting. Thats somewhat a crash, since it affects a large portion of players.

In other words, because you have one or more high priced items listed, this shift in the economy that might hurt you means the economy is going to crash. Remember, making an sweeping conclusion based on your particular case is not always justified.

Your wrong. As I said, it affect anyone with items on the tp in different scales.

We’ll see. I have trouble believing that your conclusion that some high priced skins having to go down some in price will crash the economy though. Your pocket book getting hurt isn’t my pocketbook getting hurt isn’t the economy crashing.

I’m having a blast in the news maps, but maybe that’s because I’m playing for fun and not really paying attention to any sort of grind.

Still, I used up all my shovels and went through all the bags last night to clear out inventory space and be ready for Heart of Thorns. I don’t anticipate being back in Silverwastes for some time.

The only thing I can think of is use all my Silverwastes shovels, then go through champ bags and empty out inventory tonight.

Just saw a Charr in Silverwastes named “Lincoln Town Charr”

They’re actually in Bellevue, which is just across Lake Washington(?) from Seattle. But yeah, San Francisco time will work. I’m in Southern California so that works for me.

Here’s what I did to get around the credit/debit card issue.

Since the expansion is being sold on Amazon, I took my stack of cash down to my local drug store (Walgreen’s in my case) and got an Amazon gift card, one with a variable amount, Got home, redeemed the gift card on Amazon, bought the expansion. Entered the game code here, and done.

I do have plenty of credit cards, but I didn’t want the game purchase to show up on a bill that I would have to explain later. Married men will understand this.

There’s a certain spot in Dry Top that has a largish overhang, and the ceiling is just about Asura size. With the sandstorm blowing, there’s a certain level of peace there, Sometimes I like to hide out there while waiting for the Skritt Queen to show up.

Seems weird to me that a newly made character would instantly know where everything is and have access to level 80 areas.

Pretty much my answer as well, and for the same reasons as others have stated.

I made the mistake of commenting in map chat about the annoying sound that the Dreamer makes now and questioned how the user could stand it. Boy did that set things off.

Two Dreamer owners stood next to me for a couple minutes spamming whatever skill makes that noise while targeting nothing, and one other player got so salty towards me in map chat I had to use the report function.

So lesson learned. Suffer that annoying sound in silence.

I mean, I use the Raven, and it makes a “glyph casting” sound? It’s just not right.

One of my first experiences with Silverwastes, I saw another player who was holding some rubble, throw the rubble brick at a Husk, which in turn knocked the Husk flat on its kitten.

I just about fell out of my chair from laughing.
